Wish I could give no Star but the system will no allow so. Competency and customer service are not their mission. The staff is poorly trained with a bit more knowledge than the average new user. Not to mention the store manager whim seems to care more about everything but dedicating time to help you on your issue. Simply put, he will leave you hanging while he tries to solve the issues the poorly trained staff are supposed to.All an all: customer service non existent, cordiality replace by a belligerent attitude as if they were doing you a favor instead of acknowledging the customers are the ones that pay their salaries.Wish can complain directly to AT&T but have not found yet the way to do it . On short, avoid that store at all costs not even if you are desperate consider going in. You will regret it and be mad at yourself for having gone in.

5G was not working on one of my phones. The young lady in the office said the phone needed a new SIMS card. That didnt work. She then said that our phone was broken, so we upgraded. After leaving the store, we discovered that the updated phone (iPhone 12 pro max) did not get 5G either. My husband returned the next day and a man called into customer service who fixed the problem remotely. The first phone was never broken! Also, we tried to pay the taxes on the new phone, but our credit card was declined several times (we over heard another customer having the same problem, but didn’t really realize what was going on). We offered multiple cards and none worked. They then realized that their machines were not working. My husband had to walk up the street to a bank to get cash. Finally, the young lady suggested we change plans because there was a cheaper plan that offered more. We accepted. When checking online the next day, I discovered the new plan was more expensive! I feel like we were tricked on multiple levels. It took over 2 hours to get the mess sorted out through customer service (611) this morning. But we still ended up needlessly trading in a perfectly good phone!

ATT customer service instructed me to come here because my cell signal is constantly cutting out and dropping calls. I was asked to wait by the door until a salesman became available. I patiently waited for 15 minutes while listening to a pair of salesman talk about their favorite movies. Maybe they were on break or something... Anyway, Roger Ebert finished his movie review and approached to ask what I needed. I told him my phone is dropping calls. He said there was nothing he could do and I should call ATT customer service. What a waste of time.

I visit this store in Hayward yesterday, they were able to help to help me right away they had the phone I needed, everyone there was happy talking to each other helping each other.I exited the store happy very satisfied with their service. this days is hard to get a good customer service, people are working moody and ruth. Here they make me feel appreciate welcome!

I purchased my iPhone 12 Pro Max on 3/21 & I was right away helped out by Giselle. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a different employee and Giselle called me up right away. The process of me not only of purchasing a new phone but paying a bill and paying off my current phone was really easy with them. Her communication was very well, friendly and pretty much GREAT ! I’ve been helped out by Jackie prior to this months ago and I think the staff here are friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely come back

I spent over an hour at another store at the southland mall . I left looked for another store, all in the name loyalty. At this store I took over an hour, left to go pickup my wife. Came back to the store and i still couldnt buy a phone. Mind you i am very new to this area. I am absolutely offended by the way AT&T handles its customers

Trash customer service . Was never greeted when I came into the store but everyone after me was. Seemed like the gentleman working yesterday did not wish to be at work. I went to upgrade my phone and was told my phone was reported lost or stolen which made no sense as it’s the same phone I had for 2 years. He didn’t even take the extra step to see why. Entire store needs a reality check . Went to the union city location to receive proper customer service . Will NOT return to this location

The sales person who approached me did not know how to fix my problem, which is fine, I understand that, but I was trying to explain my situation and trying to show him my phone, he wouldnt even look, he didnt even ask his co-worker maybe if he could help or understand. Instead he just walked away and could not be bothered. When I left I said thanks for TRYING to help, he said have a good day.

Sales associate Jorge was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I wanted. He gave me very honest advice on what options to chose for my phone upgrade. He informed me of all the possible ways and how much money I would spend and informed me which would be better money wise and product wise. I highly recommend this AT&T location, customer service is award worthy. Staff had sufficient knowledge about all products and plans and I didn’t leave the store unsure about my decision, they know what they’re doing! Thank you

I recently open a Business account with at&t at this branch the manager Joey and a girl really nice people they helped me out with the hole process real well five stars for this guys.After that I’ve been to the store a couple of times and called a few times as well after and there is this young guy can’t recall his name, really bad customer service when dealing with issues, pick up phone call with really bad attitude. I have been in customer service my self and that is not the way people likes to be threaded.I know dealing with issues is not everyone, definitely not for this guy.Definitely not

Awful customer service.I realized there was only one person working there upon my arrival. A family ( lady in wheelchair,man,a teen girl and younger girl. They spent at least a half hour picking their phones. 2 ladies who left after 20 mins,+ 2 other women who had been there when I arrived. The female rep didnt acknowledge or say anything as people entered. I waited in line from 10:30 to 11:27 am when she finally got to me I was told we could return our ATT equipment at any UPS store.THEY NEED A BETTER SYSTEM.At least acknowledge your customers.I felt bad for the older guy who was behind me, (waiting to pay his bill?) He had a ATT letter in his hand.Pretty representative,but definitely lacking skills in dealing with the public.

Ivan your customer service is so bad, but i dont really blame you, your manager should be training you instead of just talk about the warriors, you let me get out of the store without a new phone and with out even trying harder, so you let go a 1500 dollar sell, knowing how empty your store looks any sell would it be good. by the way you should not talk bad about other customers in front of new customers, that is just telling me that you are also going to talk about me..

Called asked simple question and they couldnt answer yes or no. Asked if they were a corporate store. ( 3 times). So easy, to ask associates for the answer. Dont know anything else about the store. Rated on 1 phone call to 1 person.

No pay machines, only one mini couch and service was not quick. Staff was ok, not rude but this place needs a quicker paste environment. Some people require complete undivided attention as they shop, but I need this to be quick, either staff needs better training or more staff is necessary. 30minute wait for a 2minute transaction.

I have never given a review before but I feel the need to after much though. The reason Im giving this store 5 stars is because of the store manager joey and the two girls that work there are respectful and do their job with a smile, I usually pay my bill here and any time its those three individuals I feel very welcomed even if they do sales and spit their sales games they dont push to hard and are never rude. I went in today like usual, and the two Male workers were really rude, especially the short little boy looks 18 where INCREIBLY rude. I avoid them at all cost because its obvious they hate their job they could quit but they stick around for some reason. While Im waiting to be helped I cant help but overhear these two rude individuals YELLING at this lady, that was from what I heard all she wanted was a screen protector, they kicked her out and were really rude wouldnt tell her if another store had it. I just wanted to say I hope they get written up for their poor behavior or decide to quit and not work in customer service. The worse one was the little boy with no name tag he even used curse words after the lady left I hope he gets fired, he is too rude to work in customer service isnt the first time I come in and he rolls his eyes at other people since I will never let him take my bill he has an attitude problem AT&T look at your employees reward good employees remove the bad pls

I came in to pay a bill, and it was love in first sight. That handsome man with that black mustache.. i love me some big nice mexican meat (; i will continue to come to this location to see my love.. i always get excited to get my bill since that means that im going to see mi amor (my love) At&t knows whats good to hire that handsome mexican man... I work close by so Im thankful that they opened up a AT&T store around the corner. Ive been in there at least 5x now and 4/5 times that Ive been in there the customer service was excellent!My first time in there Jorge was the one who helped me out (too bad he got transferred) with my dads replacement phone. He called customer service (I think) and had them activate my fathers phone- but they messed up and switched my phone with his phone.. Overall it was super messy and confusing, but Jorge fixed it without breaking a sweat! :)(He told me to take their survey to rate them but I never received the survey)Second experience, I had one day left to pay for my phone bill, usually I would mail a check but that would take at least a couple of days to process so I decided to walk in and pay instead. Their rules were they did not accept more than $600 in cash but they very helpful and nice and let me slide this one time. :) (another good experience, sad though I didnt catch her name but she was a Latina woman; so helpful in explaining why Im getting charge for random as stuff)Third experience, phone bill again and had to buy phone case and screen protector for dad. I should seriously get the names of the employees that helped me out... This guy was super chill and honest and made it very easy to communicate with. I usually dont like dealing with AT&T employees cause theyre only there to steal/take your money. But this guy (he has a pizza tattoo) was very helpful and throughly explained a lot about my bill and phone contract for me!Fourth experience, I was being to hopeful thinking that I would never have a problem with this AT&T store.. Walked in there with the same problem to help my brother activate his replacement phone. It wasnt busy at all in fact I was the only customer in there. I had two issues; activate my brothers phone and hoping to switch my name to the account holder (if you havent noticed Im the one who always have to deal with my familys phone situations) anyways, the blonde lady (the manager) asked me what the problem was. I told her I needed to activate my brothers phone. I didnt think there would be a problem since I activated my dads phone before without my mom being there (mom is the account holder). She asked me for my ID to make sure my name was under the account and next thing I knew she handed me back my phone and said she cant do anything if the account holder isnt here. What?! She told me to call customer service myself and tell them to change the icic because the SIM card was not activated or the right one? Like what?! Care to explain? She didnt seem to care and she seemed annoyed and didnt want to bother helping me at all. So I just left. Smh (Even though this was the worst experience yet, Im still going to give them 5/5 stars because all the other employees were so helpful.)So the next day I returned again with my mom this time. And the guy with the pizza tattoo (I wished I remembered his name) helped us out! Activated my brothers phone within seconds and I was done! How quick and easy was that? I asked him about he account holder situation and he explained that this store is only limited to doing certain things and another employee suggested that we go to the main store in San Leandro. And this is why I still gave them 5/5 stars because majority of their employees are super nice, friendly and very helpful!I wish I recieved the survey so I can take it and review you guys! Your store has been super helpful and is so convienent since Im just around the corner! Keep up the good work you guys! :D

Lady was looking at the street and ignoring me despite the fact i was the only customer. Like i had leprosy or something. Was looking to purchase a prepaid sim for my mom visiting and was told they didnt have any in the huge store. Then she made a comment ATT had better things to do than sell prepaid sims.
