My daughter is away from home attending SHSU. She went to Forest Hills because her car was leaking fluid and making noise. The Forest Hills folks took great care of her and got her back on the road. It’s a relief as a father to know there is a mechanic who is fair and won’t take advantage of someone who is taking their car to a mechanic for the first time.

The owner was a real nice guy. I was in Huntsville TX. For a wedding and my truck was running rough so I brought it to Forest Hills Automotive and because I thought it was the fuel filter. So they checked my truck out and the owner told me that my truck really needed a tune up and showed me that I had a the original plug wiers and power packs so he told me to have it turned up when I get back home. I thanked him for his time and honesty. So If you need anything done on your car are truck bring it to them.

My wife and I stumbled upon this shop by reference of a tow driver after our ball joint had fell out on a family day at blue lagoon. We were really pleased with the pricing and timing which he said he would have it done. He told us what else we needed to get taken care of and we drove over a hr away from where we live to go back an finish what was needed. The owner is honest straight forward an extremely helpful I would recommend this shop to any who needs work done.

Serpentine belt busted and he told me I locked up the motor. I already knew I hadnt because I checked it after the belt busted and started fine and oil was not milky (which he said I didnt have a drop of). He said he was not going to change my belt because the motor wasnt gonna make it 5 miles up the road. He finally decided to change it but told me your going to sign a waiver saying you know the condition of the motor. No problem....but he could have asked and not demanded. Guess he thought he was gonna get one over on a dumb female.By the way, Im 1500 miles later and back home in Colorado with my 2 year old daughter that has brain cancer.

This place is not good went for the water pump changed then the manager or owner said to me that need to change the heads went out when i found it was a lie from the guy or it was that he dont know about fixing cars much . He claims to know 30 yrs of exp.. but show me few of those ..sorry guys watch up for this crookssss that only look for the money, when we know what we got, just cause people are mechanic dont let them manipulate u
