My wife loves shopping here. Monica was very helpful and did a great job assisting my wife. She bought the plant based products. Thanks Monica.
This Sephora is amazing! Everyone is so helpful!!! I have found some great products that I would have never known existed had they not been so helpful. From helping me match foundation and concealer to finding a gentle face washe and facial lotion to helping me set my makeup, refresh it, and sparkle! This is now my go to store for all my needs! I will be forever grateful! Thank you!!!!
Love Sephora! I could spend hours in there looking at all their make up brands and hair products. If you are into make up and girlie things you will love it too.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great products.
As I was shopping someone asked if I was good literally every minute. At first I didn’t think much of it until one person was like sorry we keep coming up to you and yelled “you’re the only person in the store!” Like even though they didn’t close for another hour I should leave because I was the only person there? This Sephora desperately needs better employees. I should’ve just left but it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself but I regret spending money there I should’ve just went to ulta
I love this store they are so helpful. Its an amazing perk to go in and get a free gift for your birthday.
Monica was SO HELPFUL and knowledgeable. I wanted new foundation & concealer because mine wasnt matching like it used to. She showed me that mine current color had too much yellow for my skin tone. She matched me with the correct color and recommended an amazing primer also. I love my new cosmetics and truly appreciate her assistance.
Love this store!! I get my favorite beauty products here, and the staff is 100% helpful and friendly. That makes such a huge difference.
The environment was relaxing and bright. I had the most pleasant and knowledgeable attendant named Megan that assisted with all of my questions and knew EVERYTHING about the products.
Most of the recent reviews seem to be negative towards the staff, but they were all super nice to me when I visited. Ive never been to a Sephora before and I only knew the types of products I needed, but nothing more specific than that. They helped me figure out exactly what to get and were super patient with me. Would definitely go back!
Great store and good selections of new items that just came out. Employees can pretty RUDE tho.
I can get Laura Mercier cosmetics on the spot
Today is 12/19 and I went in a couple of days ago to Christmas shop..... for myself and others too of course. I decided I needed to pull the plug and splurge some on skincare cause I’ve battling with closed comedones on my cheeks for about 8 months when I’m used to clear skin. So for 8 months it seemed like the end of the world for me.I cannot remember her name, but I do plan on going back to find out. She listened to what I had to say and my concerns. I even showed her a glimpse of what was going on with my cheeks. She was quick to know exactly what I needed for face wash and moisturizer. It’s been a week and my skin is already improving from her recommendations. Thank you!!!!
Great quality in make up cosmetology and glosy products are 50% off and give you examples free, if you open a new credit card account plus 15% off eye liner, lipstick, gl9sy lipstick liner and eyebrow liner 😄 😍 ✨
The young lady who helped me get matched in Fenty foundation was soon sweet. I forgot her name but I will look for her the next time I visit the store.
The store was nice and clean. The Staff was great for the most part. One rude one kept telling everyone to pull up their masks.
Really good experience. I went to try out rare beauty by Selena Gomez and they took their time to match my skin and make sure I was satisfied. Really good advise, wonderful customer service for a newby like myself. Vibes that make me wanna go back.
Sephora USED to be my go-to for all things makeup and skincare, but apparently they can do without 74 million of us. I’ve been a VIB for decades. No more.✌🏼
I was greeted, helped with my ordered and explained about my point usage while I was there. The representative was very nice professional and helpful.
I thought the comments in the reviews were being melodramatic when they said the employees were rude! This store used to have great customer service. Now, there is absolutely no help and you’ll recieve a forced smile from the greeter at the door with a lingering stare. Creepy and unprofessional! The ladies at checkout... don’t get me started. I felt like I was in highschool again with their blatant rudeness and “holier than thow” attitudes— which I don’t understand since they are working retail at 30 years old.
Amazing store for makeup and the customer service is amazing!!
Very helpful very attentive employees
The employees used to be AMAZING at this store. Literally would make a trip to the store to get help with things and to have a great experience but the last 2 times I’ve gone I’ve had terrible experiences. The employees have been incredibly rude asking me “what?” When I WAVE them down for assistance. Not only that, but the store is also sold out of just about everything and if you ask them if they have any in the drawer below the shelves they get huffy and just tell you they don’t have it. Will go to Ulta, or literally anywhere else to buy makeup because of the way I was a bother to the employees. Only giving 2 stars because of the employees that used to make this place amazing.
Employees were very helpful.
I came in and asked for assistance with getting my foundation matched. I understand that there was a wait because it was busy - thats not the problem. However the sales rep who eventually got to me just acted exasperated the whole time, tried to rush me, and was rude to me. After the computer/scanner gave me a list of some matches she just asked me to take a picture of my results and go look at them and walked off.
The girls who work here are by far the cliquiest bunch of B17¢#3$ Ive ever encountered. They were rude, judgemental and seemed more interested in socializing with each other than helping any customers. When I finally received assistance, the girl was rude when answering questions and kept looking back at her friend and laughing when Id answer or ask questions.Just because I came in without wearing makeup, does not mean I dont know anything about it.I will never go back to this store. The employees here should be lifting other women up and empowering them, helping make everyone feel beautiful not hiding and whispering behind the customers backs.Rude.
I like that they care about their customers health during this pandemic and take the necessary precautions to make sure everyone that enter their store is safe
I will NEVER order from Sephora again! I placed my first order the other day but decided I wanted to change the foundation to a lighter shade, it says you have 1 hour to change or cancel your order and thats a lie! I had to have someone at Sephora cancel the order because they apparently couldnt change my order but the money I paid when I ordered I wont get my money back for 30 days wth?! Ill be shopping at Ulta from now on smh
Monica... The best Employee she was Great... she help us a lot and she knows what shes doing
I had such a wonderful experience with Stacie. I came in needing a powder and some skincare products. I told her that I know nothing about make-up and she walked me through what types of powders there are and how to best use them. She tested one on my skin and was able to pick the perfect color and type of powder I was looking for on the first try. For the skincare products, I told her what skin type I have and what I’m trying to achieve with my skin and she went and gathered a bunch of samples for me, wrote down on a sample bag the brand and what they’re used for. She walked me through what to use, when to use it, how they work, what ingredients are in them and how they help, and how long the amount will last. She was absolutely amazing in how attentive, positive, and knowledgeable she was and completely took the intimidation out of my visit with my lack of knowledge. I will definitely be going back to the Bridge Street Sephora again soon!
Y’all let me just start off by saying that the employees there are literally the sweetest most helpful people. I walked in and had no idea what I needed or what would work for me the only thing I knew was that I needed a good foundation because I was tired of drug store foundation that was never my shade. I don’t remember her name but she had short purple hair, helped me find the right foundation for my skin and let me know why it would work my skin and why some others wouldn’t. She really knew what she was talking about and she didn’t try to force me into getting the most expensive one. She was really considerate and made me feel like she wanted what was best for me. And then we moved on to skin care and this other lady helped me find the right cleanser and moisturizer for my skin type and let me what was in them and how they would help( again she knew what she was talking about). And I used it tonight and my skin feels AMAZING!. I loved the experience there they weren’t at all rude and made me feel welcomed
This Sephora is the only Sephora in Huntsville, AL, at least from what I’ve seen and been told. Being that I am from Birmingham, AL, where there are more stores, I was a bit underwhelmed with this one. It has nothing to do with customer service, but more to do with the fact that this store is outdated as compared to others even in this state. This store lacks not only the pizazz (for lack of a better word) that other stores have, but also lack products. For example, I went in to purchase something from a well known and well loved brand and when I went into the store, I come to find out they don’t sell that brand at that store. There are quite a few brands they lack from what I’ve seen. I really think in order for this store to thrive, they need to update the store and bring in the brands they are missing. At least the brands that are in high demand. I also would like more stores to be available in Huntsville, as well, especially since Huntsville is growing rapidly in population, etc.
This is the best Sephora Ive been to - I live in Chattanooga, but every time I visit my family in Huntsville I make sure to stop through here. The cast members are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I know if I have a question or am curious about a certain product, I can depend on someone in here to help me out and point me in the right direction!
This is the only Sephora Ive ever been to. The people working there are always knowledgeable and helpful. No one has ever laughed at me for mispronouncing a brand name or not knowing something (Im looking at you, Ulta) Honestly, several of the women who have helped me have been kind, courteous, professional, and not even minutely snooty. I shop in store instead of online and at this style instead of others specifically because of the positive interactions Ive had. Im a cheap skater and check prices at different stores for everything, but not makeup anymore. If I wear makeup, I buy it here. I know I sound ridiculous, but theyve honestly been that kind and helpful to me. They dont rush to finish with me, and give their honest observations without too much hustle. Even if that observation is that I want the cheaper option. Much love, Ill be back.
These five stars are particularly for the sales associate called Kendra at the Bridge Street Mall location. She is professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely patient. She answered all my beauty questions and provided valuable feedback about several products.Aside from Kendra, most of the sales associates need to improve their courteousness and professionalism. It mainly appears that Im being an inconvenience to them, whenever I visit the store. I hardly feel welcomed by the majority and they provide assistance in a rushed manner. If management made conscious efforts to hire sales associates like Kendra, optimal customer satisfaction would be the end result.
Stacey, Hannah and Leyla rock! They did a make up class for our Girls Inc girls today. Tons of great kid friendly information and fun to be around. THANK YOU!!!
Great service and people.
I came in tonight 11/25 around 8pm ready to shop for new make-up. I wanted a professional opinion regarding some new foundation and powder, and was never even acknowledged. Not one single person offered to help me. I honestly didn’t even see any sales person walking the floor. Very frustrating. I just left empty handed.
As usual, very friendly employees
MARIAH WAS AWESOME! she was extremely helpful and helped me find a good foundation for my skin, along with helping me find other things. She was very sweet and was very patient with all my questions. I will be back😃
Ive only had good experiences at this store, but I have to agree with some reviewers that the last few years staff is less warm and friendly than in the past. At my last visit an LP person was extremely obvious about watching me. Thats fine with me because Im not stealing anything, but other people may be offended by this kind of stalking and blatant staring.
Twas good
My first impression was that the store was very nice and clean and set up well. I was immediately asked if I needed help with anything. Its small, and doesnt have as much as other stores. But itll do for now.The workers are nice, and know their stuff.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, though its a little pricey, you cant beat the quality of their products.
I love this place! The staff is always super friendly and helpful.
I love going in there. everybody is so nice. Kaitlynn was so helpful with me finding the right shade for my foundation and wasnt pushy towards me buying it. So sweet and helpful I will mkay definitely keep shopping here!
Sweet & helpful staff. I love the Sehora brand makeup 💋
Awesome customer service. They were friendly and helpful. They made sure I got exactly what I was looking for and that I was satisfied. Plus they have great products.
Today I experienced my first bad visit at Sephora in Bridge Street. My two friends and I were having a girls night and decided to buy makeup. One lady was very nice and polite, Aundrea, the sales associate, she allowed us to try on different makeup to find what was best. Another sales associate was watching my friends and I very closely. Neither of us had pockets nor big purses. We noticed every time we look at a new item she would walk closely against us and stare at us while we were shopping. My friends were very upset and left the store, while I continued to purchase my items. I understand that people steal and you have to be careful. However, watching us close while we were already being assisted by another associate made us uncomfortable. We did not display any indication that we were being shady. We were laughing and very excited about purchasing new makeup. That sales associate killed any chances for me or my friends to return. My friends and I are actual security officers, so we were able to tell what the lady was doing. She profiled us based off nothing. The way the world has been, I feel she racially profiled us. Mind you there were other customers in the store. This type of behavior from the sales associate should never be displayed at any stores. I will not be returning. Which is unfortunate, because I love sephora, just not this store again!!
Latina cashier (may have been a manager) had a nasty attitude, probably should not work with the general public if she’s gonna act like that. Your in retail honey, don’t take yourself so serious.
Always a lot of fun. Wish they sold Chanel cosmetics
Update. They have better management now. Last couple times I went, it was a great time.
I love shopping here. I live in Franklin but I enjoy coming to this sephora for the better selection and helpful staff. I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for the staff specifically. I dont wear much makeup but I do shop for what I wear at sephora. I came in with a small list of items to pick up and the staff was so incredibly helpful and kind to me. They did not hesitate to make me a sample of whatever I wanted, and one staff member helped me decide on a bronzer. I will continue to drive a little further for such great service.
I don’t understand why the employees act so stuck up and rude or who they think they are, but they need to come back to earth. Horrible stank attitudes from each employee except the perfume lady. Short haired black lady is spiteful so is the manager. I will be ordering online from now on to avoid being belittled and treated like I’m beneath them. Don’t know if they hate all people equally or what exactly brought upon such hate.
I have never had a bad experience here. The have their competitors atBridgestreet beat in good customer service. The staff really knew a lot about the products.
They were not helpful at all. I asked them to match my foundation color and they were very rude while matching my foundation. They were also very rude to my daughter and would not help her. We will not being going back here again.
Today is was first bad experience at Sephora. If I could leave 0 stars I would. And I won’t return to buy anything at that location anymore. After I purchased items worth over $80 I looked at highlighters on my way out and the lady who scanned my stuff made it her business to watch me closely I mean it was so obvious to the point where I was like screw this highlighter and I left. Fair enough I had a purse which most people do and I had two kids with me who were amazed by all that glitter. So idk if that played a role or maybe I was stereotyped. Bottom line I never have been made feel that uncomfortable in any other store in Huntsville/ Alabama period. I do not recommend going to that location at all. Nobody should have to deal with that. Go to Ulta if anything, staff is always friendly and helpful.
If I could give this place a zero, I’d do it in s heart beat. I went to Sephora hoping for a great experience and recommendations. I finally got greeted after being in there for 5 minutes (they weren’t busy and there was 6 employees as well). I explained to the girl that I wasn’t good with makeup and I was hoping that someone could help me with a new foundation. She said she could show me products and I said I’d like to try it out before spending money. She proceeded to tell me they not do typically and that no one was available to do that anyway. I told her I’d pay for all products I liked and she still turned me away. I told her I was going to ulta then and she informed me that they wouldn’t help me either. Well guess what, they did. On top of that, I spent over 300.00 so thank you Sephora for showing awful customer service. Ulta will forever get my business from here on out and I will be sure to pass this experience along to everyone I know thinking of going to Sephora.
Just encountered one extremely rude manager at the Sephora store... The store hours online clearly state that the store is open until 7 PM on Sundays we get there at 6:01, and unfortunately they are all locked up... The store manager then mouths off the words we are closed and walks to the back... I call the store she answers, and I ask if she’s a manager; she says “yes she is” ... i then mentioned that the store hours online state they are open until 7 and with a sharp and very rude attitude she comes back with “well we’re not” !!! no respectful response or ownership of management position... Very disappointing! We are clients not trash rolling on the street to be spoken to that way. Don’t waste your time going all the way to Bridge Street ordered on-line, i’m sure the website won’t be rude.
This store is clean and has brands that you cant get anywhere else in town. I love sephora and I love that we finally have one in town. Been going there since they opened. The original staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Since Feb13 the NEW staff is not trained. The newbies dont know the basics and are a little off putting and pushy. The old girls were helpful and the place had a great atmosphere. Ive been to the store 4 separate times past month, every time I got a new rep and all but one(manager), were rude and pushy. One tried to match my foundation by testing it on her own self, another tried matching it by smearing it on my face ON TOP the makeup i was wearing, NOT on the neck. The third just gave me attitude cuz i had questions, her knowledge was limited, and told me no other options existed. She wanted me to by the most expensive item and leave asap.
Jessie was so sweet and helpful, she knew what she was talking about. The whole staff was great.
Since nail polish is no longer carried here I don’t really go anymore. I went in to buy nail polish, they didn’t have any, so I went to Ulta and spent over $100 on stuff besides the nail polish I bought.
We had purchased a sample pack from Sephora in Huntsville - inside is a certificate for the actual product when ready to redeem. Had to call the store and speak to Tina (manager) and she was very rude and said there was nothing she could do. We have receipts and the bag and the samples...but she still offered no solution. Very poor management and sad that they would treat their customers this way!! Don’t go here unless you want to be mistreated and have them basically not honor an $80 purchase....I guess they got one over on us!
I went into this store just like any other time to purchase my favorite mascara along with a few new products i had been dying for... They were extremely rude. I was shopping with my daughter and my girlfriend (I am gay). They treated me as if I didnt belong there because I was wearing jeans and a hoodie no makeup just went casual comfy shopping and they kept acting like I knew nothing about makeup... Then when I got to the cashwrap my card wouldnt go thru... Which has never happened in my life.. So I swiped it 3 more times... She kept claiming that my card was denied... So I told my Girlfriend to run to the nearest ATM which was about 20 steps outside the door... The lady said to me and my daughter you know its 5:20 we are closing soon and just dont have time to wait on her to run back with cash and proceeded to put my stuff behind the counter and she completely turned her back to me. I was LIVID I took my daughter and left. I will not be back in this store. The girl has fire engine red hair and very fair complexion.
Horrible experience. I asked a worker for a specific brand of foundation (Cover FX) that I needed for an event that day. She immediately cut me off and stated, we dont carry that brand, go to the register and they can order it for you. When I told her I needed something comparable she began quoting other makeup brands prices. I told her I wasnt concerned about the price and needed to be match. What that representative failed to realize is I frequently shop there and purchase the premium makeup brands like YSL, Marc Jacobs, etc. She had the audacity to point toward the other side of the room to the Sephora collect for me to find and determine which foundation would go with my skin tone (which is hard to match due to limited choices). Needless to say, I went to another representative who was willing to help, but she referred me back to the original useless and rude sales girl. No thanks. Im good.Unfortunately due to the poor customer service, I will travel to Nashville, Birmingham or Atlanta before I step foot back in the Bridge Street location.
The store itself is nice, and most of the staff also seemed nice, and offered help. However, one staff member (I don’t remember her name) was very rude, and when I asked a question, treated me like I was a child.
Terrible service. The cashier got an attitude with me when I just asked if they carried a brand. I was in to exchange a foundation for another shade, but she made everything so difficult I walked out after the return and wont be back.the ULTA kust down the way has MUCH better service.
Its always so claustrophobic in here. There is never enough room to move around.
Employees here are always super nice and always seem happy to help you!
The staff is extra nice and so helpful, Ive never had a bad visit. They need a bigger store tho :)
Helpful staff. but this sephora is a lot smaller than most Ive been in
Sorry rated the wrong store never visited here won’t let me delete
Great selection of different things
The past two times Ive been in this store to pick up a product, the products have been out of stock. The employees were extremely rude to my mother & myself on both occasions. I will not go back to this store, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed.
Some staff are friendly and knowledge with products
Always so much fun
Lovely place.
Was not impressed, couldnt get assist as I needed so I left
Always excellent service
Employees follow you around the entire store and are extremely rude when asked to help
Great store
Great staff!
Helpful employees!!!!
Very friendly staff
Excellent attention. Very good products
A bit expensive but excellent service
