Armstrong Relocation helped my company move out of three buildings into one new office building over the course of about a month. We coordinated all the details before each move, received an overall quote, and then the team far exceeded expectations by completing each move much faster than anticipated, which drastically lowered our final invoice! Very affordable, very organized, and easy to work with.They also assembled pallet racks for our new warehouse facility, once again exceeding expectations with their quick work.

Last week Armstrong Relocation moved me from Chattanooga, TN to Madison, AL and I can honestly say that it was the easiest move I have ever done and I have moved a lot in the past. Both teams, from Chattanooga and Huntsville were everything I ever wanted from movers. They were so efficient that by the time I realized my whole condo was packed and the guys were closing the truck to drive it to Alabama. They were done 5 minutes before the time time they said they would which was even more impressive and showed their degree experience. Armstrong Relocation made several promises and they were true to their word! They arrived on time, packed with great care, and responded positively to a few requests. Moved my elderly mom from Huntsville to Colorado. Looked at all reviews for long distance movers and found that Armstrong had the best consistent reviews. Had a virtual assessment and they came up with a Binding contract for the weight of my mother belongings. They packed about 3 dish packs, 8 picture boxes,two TVs and a few other boxes.I packed about 20 boxes. One bed, one loveseat, headboard,desk, dinning room table, couch and two occasional chairs. The apartment was a 2 BR1400sf apartment. No washer dryer or refrigerator. The estimate was 7000 lbs which seemed high but I TRUSTED their evaluation based on the reviews. On arrival the driver stated that the weight was more like 4000 lbs. In my eyes that is a significant discrepancy. When asked for the final payment of 6900 dollars I mentioned this to the coordinator. The owner of the company called and said the estimate was Binding. I agreed that I had indeed agreed to a Binding estimate but it seemed wildly over inflated. His response was that I had signed the contract and I could have gotten other estimates. Really not the point but he seemed to be incapable of understanding my point. Therefore my 85 year old mom payed the bill. Otherwise the move was average. The Packers spent most of the time on their phones. The driver was prompt and coutrtious and took great care to wrap my belongings. Took a few days to wipe down all furniture and get the smell of smoke off furniture....not uncommon. Drivers shouldnt smoke in cabin but I dont know how that can be controlled. Just glad the move is over even though I feel badly for my mom that she overpaid for the move.

I moved from St. Louis Mo to Huntsville in January and Armstrong Relocation made moving so much less stressful! From start to finish it was a positive experience. The move coordinator made sure that I was ready and had all the information I needed before the driver arrived. I had never done a virtual survey and after doing one it was very accurate and easy. Brad and his crew moved our center into a new facility. We had 8 + regular employees plus storage and items for temporary employees. Brad and his crew were very professional. They arrived at appointed times and were very efficient and careful with all of the equipment and furniture. I will continue to rely on Brad and his team any time I have a need for a move (as a matter of fact, I am getting ready to use him again to move some equipment).

I have been using Armstrong for more than 18 years for my companies moves related to employee and manufacturing. The communication with the team is always very professional and thorough. Timing is always perfect and the teams that that arrive are dedicated and careful. They have even handled the coordination with my moves in across the U.S. so that end to end I have been happy. Problems cannot be avoided with as many moves as I have been involved with. But when there has been any problem it has always been corrected to my satisfaction. That being said, as many moves as I have had in all those years I can only remember 2 problems. That is an outstanding record. I have recommended Armstrong to friends outside of work numerous times and they have been treated 100% as well as I am had been treated.

My husbands employer contracted with this company to move our belongings from Arkansas to the Huntsville, Alabama area. They were terrible!The morning of the move, they showed up several hours late. One of the men was exceptionally rude, refusing to speak to us even when addressed directly. He packed our garage, and, when they were preparing to leave, I opened the door to find that hed left many items in there. Even his co-worker was displeased with his actions.Our belongings were in storage for about two weeks while we closed on our new home. The men who unloaded them were very good- friendly, thorough, and careful.Unfortunately, several items had been poorly packed and were broken upon arrival- a chair, bookshelves, fragile items. They had thrown our Christmas tree topper into a box, and then threw heavy tools on top of it. They wrote our tracking number directly *on* some of our furniture with black permanent marker!Worst of all, they LOST a small trunk that contained heirlooms and family memorabilia. We didnt have room for it in our vehicle, and I was assured it would reach our new location safely. Well, it didnt.When we called to report the missing and broken items, we received no compassion, no apology. No effort was made to find the missing trunk. The representative assigned to us was curt, and behaved as if we were wasting his time. He just emailed us a claim form, and told us to value the missing items for reimbursement.How am I supposed to place a value on my childrens locks of hair, the bible my great-grandfather gave me before he died, my high school yearbooks and photos, the stuffed Fox my oldest daughter slept with every night? Theyre literally irreplaceable!We ended up with a check to replace the broken furniture. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone. It was an absolutely infuriating and heart-breaking experience.

Over a 10 year period as Director of Administration for Radiance Technologies, I managed several small, local moves working through Brad Murphy at Armstrong Relocation. In 2012 we consolidated furniture, supplies and equipment from seven buildings in the Commercial Drive area and moved to an 83,000 sq ft building on Governors West. The move required 29 truck loads over a 2-3 week period and went off without a hitch. Armstrong has provided various services for my company for years. Door to door moves, office relocations, off-site storage and foreman led on-site crews on an as needed basis. Easy to work with and problem-solving oriented, the head office people are great. I had a small claim for a damaged TV stand, they pushed it right through and sent me a check. Unfortunately, the communication between them and the actual movers, and the client and the movers could be better. Movers showed up with a truck too big for my driveway despite the on-site estimate and had to run up-and-down the driveway with all my stuff to load the truck. At the other end, movers rented a shuttle (U-Haul) that was too small and had to do two trips and take some furniture apart. Delivery too at least twice as long as necessary.

Used Armstrong for my interstate move for work. Move the contents of my entire house, including artwork, without any breakage. It was an excellent experience and I really was able to have a relatively stress-free move.

Poor after mover serviceWe purchased additional insurance before the move in case anything was damaged. Our china cabinet was damaged. The claims person at Armstrong fights tooth and nail to not pay the claim. She delays and delays, denies and denies. We are still fighting. The additional insurance is worthless and so is the customer service.

Moved a stuffed apartment in the Washington DC area to the Kansas City area. Couldnt have picked a better company. The people they have working for them are top notch. The packers did a great job of protecting what they packed in boxes and the driver had a great team on both ends to move me in and out. I was on a third floor walk up apartment and had the heaviest furniture imaginable (IKEA) and they were as careful with the first piece as the last piece. If I had to do it all over again I would make the call to this company again.

My family and I just completed our 10th move due to a professional transition out of state. Not all of our moves have been pleasant and resulted in high stress, damaged goods and higher moving costs in the end. However, my family and I have recently had a totally different experience with Armstrong Relocation & Companies.In preparation for the move, three moving companies were contacted for quotes. Brad Murphy came to our house on two separate occasions, the first to ascertain our moving needs and the second to adjust the initial quote to ensure the accuracy of our moving estimate. The initial quote was actually reduced to reflect the adjustment in estimated weight. The quote provided was a “not to exceed” amount, giving me and my family reassurance of no surprises at the end of our move.From the initial planning stages throughout the entire process, we received world-class service and support from all employees at Armstrong Moving, particularly Brad Murphy with coordination of our move, Justin who oversaw the pick-up and delivery, and Michelle, the outstanding receptionist who left her post at the front desk on three occasions to help us load packing materials at the loading dock. All employees consistently went beyond all expectations to support us prior to and during our move. All of our household items, including very fragile materials and heavy shop equipment were moved with extraordinary care and arrived to our new home without one scratch or any damage. All deadlines and schedules were accurately met with ongoing communications from representatives throughout our moving process. If I could sum up their service in one sentence, I would say, These people are very serious about moving. They did an excellent job of packing loose items and had a separate team come out and make wooden crates for my glass aquariums. The customer service representative in my area was a pleasure to work with and she helped me to retrieve some important documents when my belongings were in a storage vault. Very little damage was noted on any of the furnishings (I think a little is bound to happen); the worst of it was a ceramic pepper shaker which had broken, but then again I had packed it. I am very pleased with the movers, packers, and service representatives at Armstrong Relocation. My company chose these movers for me (I moved from northwest Arkansas to northern Alabama), but I couldnt imagine using a different company. I would highly recommend them if you value your possessions.
