My wife and I visited this dealership on Saturday afternoon. We attempted to make a purchase of a 2022 CR-V and we’re willing to pay MSRP plus taxes and other fees. The dealer declined our offer as they wanted to charge us sticker price plus $1899.00. The sales person said we had “no choice but to accept” an add on charge for $1,899.00 for a paint and interior protection package. I know that times are tough and there is limited availability, but I feel it is very unfair and unethical to charge extra for an add-on feature that is not wanted or needed. We were willing to trade our 2019 CR-V, or we were willing to purchase the new vehicle outright. It was really their choice. In the end, we walked out of the dealership without the new car, and they lost the opportunity to get a very nice 2019 vehicle to sell.

I went to Honda Joliet Saturday to purchase a car. Everything went well, until Sunday Morning and I discovered an issue. I went back today early morning and was pleasantly surprised to find the Sales manager Hardy, to be receptive and very understanding of my issue. He took time with me and explained sincerely, how the issue could be rectified, but ultimately it was my decision how I wanted to proceed. I know he was not obligated to honor my wishes, so this really confirmed Honda of Joliet lives up to there great ratings on Google. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALEROn Friday, August 28, 2020, I purchased a 2018 Honda CRV from Honda of Joliet. I was told that a trained Honda technician put the vehicle through a comprehensive 182-point inspection. Within days I noticed a noise coming from the front driver’s side and faulty brakes. On Monday, August 31, I was back at the dealership to have the vehicle I had just purchased in for service. The dealership found the issue to be the tires and ordered new tires for my vehicle. This took more than two days after waiting for the sales manager Javier to approve the sale. I picked up my vehicle on Thursday evening, noticing that Javier purchased Advanta Tires (please click on Advanta for more info.) to replace the brand-new Bridgestone tires that were originally on the vehicle at the time of purchase. Looking online, Consumer Reports found the Advanta had an average tread life of 44,500 miles compared with an average of 71,000 miles for all the tires. Additionally, no US retailer sells these tires!At this point, I was very disappointed in the level of service and lack of attention to detail this dealership has taken. When I spoke with Javier he was very dismissive and gave a very inadequate explanation. As I drove the car home, I noticed the noise I was hearing before was worse. Now, I must make an appointment with another Honda dealer and purchase new reliable, quality tires.I left the dealership very disappointed. The next morning I found the owners of the dealership, The Korallus Family, who own Honda of Joliet, Honda of Lisle, and Infiniti of Naperville. I emailed the three members listed as owners. Mike Korallus of Infiniti Naperville was the only owner to respond to my email. After speaking with Mike, I felt more at ease. However, here we are Tuesday, September 7 and no resolution. I would have loved to write a rave review on how happy I am with my purchase, sadly that is not the case. This dealership is taking advantage, putting their consumers at risk. I cannot believe that this dealership purchased counterfeit tires to place on my vehicle, this is especially alarming since all of the vehicles on their lot have quality tires such as Bridgestone, Continental, and Michelin.DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR ANY OF THE OTHERS THIS FAMILY OWNS.

First off BUYER BE AWARE! For a couple of weeks I have communicated with a internet sales person, while coming to a decision about a car. It came down to (3) identical cars with the same trim package. Negotiated a price, and decided to go with Honda of Joliet since we agreed in principle on the vehicles price, trim, etc.Some facts: Car is listed on their website as *NEW*. My opinion and my definition is that is has never been driven within reason of testing driving etc. Additionally, in the pictures of the vehicle (see attached) it clearly shows 6 mi.Just before I left my house 20+ miles away (having my father come to drive me to drop me off) I had every intention of purchasing the car. Right before leaving I called the internet sales manager, and at THAT point she had told me, that her sales manager had told her that the car is a demo and has 5,000k miles. Obviously shocked, and quite angry, we decided to go with a identical vehicle, brand new, and just under the price out the door as this one.Some things to consider: Why, after plenty of research, and knowing the actual price that should be paid for a car, would a dealership do this? And sell it for higher than a *NEW* one at this price. Because Dishonesty.Knowing this, why would you buy a car from here? Very happy I didnt.

For once I had a good experience at a dealership. After looking around at a 300 mile radius for a ridgeline for several months this dealer actually had the exact model and color combo I wanted. I would never step foot in this dealership again. If you want your time wasted then go for it. They will not work with you first time around. And when you clearly state you’re on a time crunch and would like to bypass the back and forth between your sales person and finance people in the office, you’re still getting the back and forth. I let them know I had been to multiple dealerships (not just Honda) not to throw it in their face like “hey you got competition” but I explained I really needed a vehicle and to come with their best offer because, I just wasn’t sure what route to go. I liked a few different makes. What did I get? Wasted time and a slap in the face offer that they supposedly “couldn’t budge on” maybe somebody doing this the first time around would have believed that but it’s definitely not mine so it was insulting. I let them know it was insulting. I had been to valley Honda a few days before and wanted to see what they had to offer. Well I went to Valley Honda the next morning and drove home in my 22 Honda Odyssey, with an almost $300 price difference a month on a year newer model (this is a lease) (Joliet quoted a 21) They worked with me and really tried to meet me half way and understand. I understand they have to come at you with outrageous prices to start but to say that’s the best when clearly it’s not is unbelievable. Honda Joliet called me in the morning to say they wanted to try and work with me to lower the price. That was funny because I was already at Valley Honda. Why couldn’t they work me the night before??? Moral of the story go to Valley Honda Aurora trust me!!!!!

I had a very positive and stress free experience purchasing a vehicle at The Honda Superstore Of Joliet.
