I have used this place in the past and they did good work so I thought I would reach back out to them. Unfortunately, my recent visit reinforces the extremely poor customer service. They did not let me know how long it would take for them to even look at my car and told me to just leave my vehicle there and they would let me know when they could get to it. Then when I asked for a time frame they told me I could just go some place else. It is really unfortunate poor customer service seems to plague this place because I know they can do good work when they want to.

Ive taken a few small jobs to this shop and have had great results in the past. Just recently I had a major exhaust problem that I couldnt do myself so I checked around and this was the only shop out of the (5) that I contacted that could get me in quickly. I dropped my car off and the associate and I had a few laughs about my attempted repair and he said they would look at my car then give me an estimate. I said just fix it, no need to call as I pretty much knew about what it would run based on the other estimates I had at the other (4) shops. I received a call just a few hours later saying my car was done. I had figured it wouldve been up there at least a day. I ran up there and again had a few laughs with a couple of the associates there then got to my bill- it was less than half of the lowest estimate I received amongst the other places in town. I had no problem paying the bill. I drove my car around and what a difference! When I got home I crawled under to inspect the work and everything was done very well! Welds were nice and even and both sides (dual exhaust) where identical as far as I can tell. Im very very happy with the service I received and I will return. The owner is the worst person they have at this business. . He is very rude to customers has no respect for anybody there but maybe his employees. Very horrible customer service. I dont know if he needs a hug or a girlfriend but the guy is miserable and needs to sell the business to someone that cares about life. What a pathetic person

Very rude and unprofessional! Tried to explain that my brakes weren’t working well, said I needed all new brake pads and parts even though I said they weren’t that old and thought it was something else. After repair brake light still came on, when I called back to explain he said he didn’t have time to listen to my story and hung up. Do NOT take your vehicle there!

Called several shops to get an estimate on putting duals on and prices were all over. Talked to them got in the next day and they did exactly what I asked for. Welds are good. I was hesitant after reading some reviews but choose to get the work done anyway and I’m glad I did. In my experience customer service was great and work looks great. I would definitely recommended them.

Extremely unprofessional and rude. YES, they are cheap but its for a reason. Dont take your stuff here unless you want defective parts that end up doing more damage to your vehicle and mechanics that completely overlook things and then refuse to accept responsibility.

Change way to much for what little they did they mess with stuff in your car our truck

Truly unforgettable. Took our truck there to be repaired. Waited for over a week. Had to have the transmission replaced. Not only after keep us waiting for it to be diagnosed and then proceeded to install a damaged part on the vehicle. The owner showed up irate and was trying to fight my fiancee. This place need to be shut down.

Had a really good service experience twice. Sometimes the staff may get rude otherwise it is a good place to diagnose your vehicle at, as they don’t charge you unless they fix the issue.

If you want a TEMPORARY fix for your vehicle. That most likely wont even be temporary. Spend your hard earned money here. And they will surely destroy your car too!

I took my car to install a muffler and after the installation there was a noise. When I took it back the next day they said it was ok. I got tired of the noise and took it back again a few months later because it has a 1 year warranty. The guy that was there was bad and incredibly rude to me, the customer. He just walked away after not wanting to look at my car. I do not recommend this place for any one. He wouldn’t take the time to take a look and all he said the he didn’t have time. He generalized the issue and said everyone complained about the same thing. I do not trust this place and do not suggest anyone have them service their cars. I had another mechanic look at the job they did and he said there was a bolt missing from the muffler installation. For the safety of you and your family, do not take your car here.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Called at 11, explained the issue I was having, and was told bring it in and well take a look! By 4:30 when i took it in, was told there was absolutely nothing they would do, and to go somewhere else. Problem is, the smell of gas is involved, and they just replaced my gas lines and tank in November...coincidence. For their sake, I hope not.

Had been here previously for exhaust work with good experiences, but theyve lost a customer now. I can handle the dirty area and crazy front desk guy - its just an auto shop. Told them car was making a weird sound from the rear. He said it was a wheel bearing. Fine, had them do that, but he also did the rear brakes while he was there. Why not, may as well get it done since it needed it.Drove the car for a bit and the rear wheels are literally smoking. Way too hot to touch. Had to take it back three times to get things adjusted properly.Didnt trust anything so I took it to another shop. Mechanic there actually listened, checked things out, and told me the wrong brakes had been used, causing the issue, and the heat had damaged the rotors as well.Do.not.go.to.this.place. Id give a zero star if I could.

I do not recommend this shop. I went in on a Friday got all around brakes done, alignment and a flex pipes done on my vehicle and spent 1200$ they were certain that was all that was wrong with my vehicle. Drove my vehicle Saturday morning and there was a bad grinding in the rear took it back right when I heard that the noise they disassembled the rear brakes and insisted there was nothing wrong with my vehicle.The noise stopped for a little bit and then continued brought it back on a Sunday afternoon The guy insisted that I had to wait even though his employees were sitting in the shop eating because they were too busy to fix my vehicle after I gave them $1200 to fix my vehicle on a Friday.

Well I wrote a review once before on my muffler which this place did a good job but I took it back again to replace a power steering pump and it started leaking AGAIN. The power steering pump I took them was used but I thought their price to put a new one in was to high so I took it to outback auto and they called me and told me it wasn’t the power steering pump the reason it was leaking was because it wasn’t put on right and the clamps for the hoses were way to big and that’s why I was leaking fluid. I also took my van back to this place for work that ran me $450 I trusted them since they did a good job on my muffler so I hope that $450 I paid was worth it and they did the job right.

So far so good. My muffler was a little noisy so I thought Id give it a shot my friend told me that he had his car repaired here to for a low price. I dont know what they did but it doesnt sound like it did and its ALOT quieter. The other guy I went to tried to charge me $300 but I guess it was because he was gonna give me a whole new muffler and pipe which I didnt want if I didnt really need it and this place only charged me half of that price LITERALLY.. If everything goes well and there arent any problems with my muffler anytime soon Ill be back and Ill refer this spot to my friends THANKS GUYS 😊

Showed up when they opened at 8:00 with a loud and loose muffler. They had it on the hoist by 8:15, quoted me an honest price, ordered the AP brand name muffler and out the door by 9:30. Happy happy

Husband took his muffler in to see if they could weld the parts they sold to him. This establishment needs some serious customer service training or to be shut down! The guy was totally irrate and giving my husband unnecessary attitude. Wont be returning and will not recommend.

They do great work and get it done quickly for a reasonable price. Wish they didnt smoke in the lobby. Would also be nice if the lobby wasnt unbearably hot. I just choose to drop off rather than wait. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

This is my go-to place for muffler repair. They have the best prices hands down! I got an estimate of a few hundred dollars from a local competitor after a long wait, but Better Buy gave me an immediate estimate of only $50 and they repaired it fast! I cannot recommend this place enough. Please give them business, they deserve it.

Best prices on exhaust and muffler work! They are quick about doing the job. Gentleman at the front desk seems a bit grumpy. But lets be honest, its hard to deal with customers on a daily. Especially when they want auto repair for close to nothing.

They rig parts, do not do quality work! All drunks and druggies work here.....half of them dont even have certification to work on cars!!!!! Do not take your car here, they will only take your money and let you leave with extra problems on your car that you didnt have before! They do terrible work, so if you want your car broke more out of stupidity, lack of sobriety, physical ability and knowledge in this job field then take your car here, to eachs own! But its terrible when you pay for your car to be fixed right and instead you get rigged parts and extra problems you didnt have before! They have a few good employees here but I still wouldnt even give them a quarter of a star!

This shop is great for quick repairs. They honor their warranty work. Drop off is recommended.

First, we apparently came during lunch, all the employees were eating lunch. It took about 5 awkward minutes before someone actually spoke to us. They checked the issue, and quoted close to $300. We took it elsewhere and got it fixed for $60. They were quoting to fix parts that werent needed... And charging at least $100/ hr labor since the whole exhaust system for my vehicle is under $150 at any auto parts store.

I just had brand new front brakes and both lower control arms put on 2 days ago that were done professionally, I went there today for a wheel alignment and they told me I needed new front brakes and both lower control arms replaced before they would do my alignment. REALLY DID THEY LOOK AT MY VEHICLE BEFORE TRYING TO STICK ME WITH A $700 BILL FOR WORK I JUST HAD DONE 2 DAYS PRIOR. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOME WHERE ELSE.

Theyre all about finding problems that dont exist. Always get your replaced parts back for inspection. Last resort for auto repair.

The owner has no respect whatsoever. He lacks that human relations that keeps the customers entering to contact them for any type of work. He has no control of his words. He does not care. He gets offended easily. If the boss could be so mean like that what of his employees.

By far the WORST establishment. It should be illegal for this “shop” to be open to the public. After waiting 8 minuets to be greeted by a “tech” with a cigarette in his mouth... the “greeting” was accompanied by attitude & disrespect. I’m missing lug nuts on my car & to add insult to injury... THEY STOLE MY CIGARETTES OUT OF MY CAR. This place has no comprehension of customer service. The shop is filthy & everyone that works there exhibits signs of drug and alcohol abuse. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS.

Very unhappy they told me I need new break pads and rotors on all four. I ask them to pull the tires and check since I was not having any break problems, just heard a noise front right. But they said didnt need to pull tires. So I went across the street to midus they pulled my tires checked all pads and rotors were fine they showed me all of them. Wont go back again. I dont trust them at all.

Visited it many times, all the time great experience (except lack of coffee recently :p). Henry and Tim will help you a lot, prices are very good and their work is fast and excellent.

I have had several good experiences there but this last one has cost them a customer. I can deal with the grumpy old man at the counter. What I cannot deal with was the hack technician that put the rack and pinion in my car but did not align it properly if at all, did not put the old rack in my trunk and left grease and grime on my steering wheel. After paying $200 for the labor I found a ruined tie rod end, I have a crooked steering wheel and a horrible shake when I get to about 50mph. When I inspected my front end to see what could be causing the shake I found that I had a bad tie rod end so that tells me the tech could not have aligned my car properly and judging by the hammer marks on the steering knuckle he damaged the tie rod end while removing it. I am a former Ford dealer technician and for 5 years I owned my own shop. I just recently started having others do the work I dont have time to do. This place has made me realize why I never did allow other people to work on my vehicles. Now I forced to replace the tie rod ends that were only 12 months old and pay for another alignment.

My PCM went out on a 94 lesabre, brought it in and had it fixed in 2 days.Mike is very professional and knows his stuff.They are very cheap and very reliableDefinitely will go back

WORST PLACE EVER !!! THEY DO NOT CONDUCT PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS BY FAR !!! if i could give them no stars I would!! The owner looked at my car twice. Told me it was rack and pinion, took it a few other places and they said it wasnt, it was power steering lines leaking, had it worked on by somebody we knew, got ripped off by them, and took it back here, again without even noticin the lines hanging off the car or the pump being bad said it was rack and pinion. Wouldnt even look at anything else !!!! He was a complete ass. Then the next day after we took our car to a real shop n had it fixed (no rack and pinion needed, still) we stopped by to find out why the idiot wouldnt even look at that was really wrong with it and why he was trying to rip us off and the whole lobby filled up with mechanics and they were going to jump my fiance. Came out to my car screaming and yellin trying to fight with my children in the car. Then after we left they called and recited my address to us like they were going to come to my house and do something. This place is a joke. I doubt any of them are licensed mechanics! Its the dirtiest most unprofessional place in Lansing. I wouldnt doubt they mess up other things on peoples cars just to make them come back !

Been here multiple times for multiple things. Been taken care of each time. Until this last time.......Edited: paid for a brake bleed i didnt.need because the mechanic thought my gas cap being loose could have possibly put air in my lines. My brakes were worse leaving then going in. Brought back tried to tell me.my brakes lines were fine it was my back drum that seized up. I told them.never mind the drums theres air in my brake lines. They argued with me. I left went to muffler man on michigan ave told them the story The owner let me watch them bleed my brakes and showed me how much air was in my lines. They were discusted that these guys let me with my toddler son drive around like that even after taking it back. They didnt charge me a dime to correct this shops mistake. I recommend Muffler Man on Michigan Ave.....

Big rip off did not put my new parts on strip all of the lug nuts now i have to go to court to get my money back and have a real break and muffler company fix it allover againI had to call the police on better but

I took my car in for rear brakes and rotors on my 2011 vehicle. I received a quote of $224. They were supposed to have the car done that day. The “mechanic” broke my calipers, claiming they were frozen. During the course of the “mechanic” servicing my vehicle had his girlfriend in there talking to him. Which of course makes you wonder how much attention he was paying to my car. I went back to get it 4 days later after they said they fixed the calipers. When I drove my car home, the service engine light went on, the door locks, and radio were not working. When I had it looked at by someone else, it appears they tripped the Anti-Theft system. This caused my car to shut down while driving it. I attempted to have them fix it twice; both times they stated it was fixed. Only to find out it hadn’t been fixed. After a brake job turned into over a week’s worth of back and forth, they called me today to state that they realized they broke my alternator. I am still without a car, out $600 for new calipers, and no explanation as to what happened to my car. Frustrated is an understatement. I will NEVER bring my car back!

Said I needed new ball bearings to get rid of loud tire noise. Cost me 150 bucks, car still makes noise... Took it to a tire place who said bearings were fine and just needed tire replacement.Everyone in there was complaining they messed up their car and were back in for 2nd repairs...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Worst possible experience Ive ever had at an auto shop. The manager, who happened to be behind the counter, had no business whatsoever dealing with people. I would pay twice what this establishment charges to anyone else just so I wouldnt be giving them a dime of my hard earned money.
