I could write a novel but to keep it short I ordered a desk and media counsel 4 months ago, paid, waiting on delivery for them to just cancel my order. Beyond upset and horrible customer service. For the money you pay youd expect more. Very disappointing.

Planning to purchase a whole set of dinning table and chairs and no one here asked if I need help. I walked around the store for at least 20 mins and walked around the cashier area and there were two staff who were standing there but no one asked me if I need help. I almost have to go and ask them if they can help me with the color but whatever I will just go to different store. Just awful customer service!

Nice stuff. Its similar to Pier 1, but in earthtones.

Always high quality home decor and linens/kitchen items. The inventory changes up for the different seasons but many staples stay the same for years. We’ve used their free design services and loved having the personal help to decorate different rooms in our home. My favorite thing is to come here during the holiday season and pick out new ornaments for my tree each year. They always have gorgeous, well made ornaments!

Great service while we were in tonight. It is a busy time and the salesperson (Jenna?) took her time and answered all our questions. We look forward to making a decision on color and will be back to place that order! Kudos!

Unwelcoming atmosphere at this location! Staffs looked and saw us walk in, never greeted, ask if we needed help, or talked to us! Ignore us like we were nonexistence! Felt so uncomfortable, I did not even want to spend a dime in there to support it anymore! Train your staffs to provide better customer service! A smile and a “hi” would have went a long way! Don’t act shady! Or don’t work there if you are unhappy to be there! Representing a company is everything! When you work there you ARE the company to people! Shame on you two older ladies who worked in there today and ruined the experience for that location! Not sure if I would want to walk back in there the next time I go there!

Staff very friendly. Asked first before trying to pet service dog also. That is always nice to see.

Love the products at this store. They have a designers on staff to help you design or decorate rooms in your house. Ive had Mary the designer help me with multiple projects and just love her and how much shes made a difference.

I ordered items for our nursery and received an email that my items were ready to be picked up. When I went into the store they told me they had no record of my order in their system and didn’t have any of the items I ordered. I asked why I wasn’t notified but instead waisted my time coming all the way over here on my lunch break and they couldn’t give me an answer. So I left a little disappointed but when I got to my car I checked my credit card statement and I had been CHARGED for the items that I never got. I went back into the store to have them fix that and give me a credit but they told me I had to call customer service. I’m appalled that I was charged for something I never received, waisted my time coming to get it, was never notified that they didn’t have my order, and then told I need to call a phone number and wait on hold for however long only to explain to someone what happened all over again with NO Documentation of what the employees were telling me, no refund receipt or anything showing I never got my items. I am so disappointed in this store and their lack of customer service. Will not be shopping here ever again.

The merchandise in the store is displayed nicely, however, the customer service in the store is extremely lacking. In comparison to the store in Edina, the Maple Grove store has terrible customer service. There are plenty of staff members and even recently on a family and friends event, one would think the staff would show more attentiveness...instead they were busy stocking their shelves. The only person who showed any type of customer service was a male employee. Perhaps the employees werent properly trained...I plan to write a letter to management.

This was my first and last experience at Pottery Barn. I went into the Maple Grove store looking for a specific item which online said they had it in stock at the store. The first worker I talked to said they dont have anything like that on the floor. I kept looking and saw they had what I wanted being displayed in different areas, so I asked another worker who then connected me with another worker to check their computer system. She said they do they have it there at the store, and went to go find it. The only reason Im rating 2 because as Im looking around, and am seeing a lot of stuff I like. She comes back to me and says all of them are on the floor being used, but we can order it online. I asked if there was free shipping and she says she thinks so but seems unsure. We go to order it online and its back ordered until March. I walk out empty handed and unsatisfied because Ive been catered to more as a customer going to stores where Im not even looking to spend hundreds of dollars.

Waited 4 months for a sofa and ottoman. Received it yesterday and the ottoman is 2 inches shorter then the couch and the cushions don’t even fit correctly on the arms of the couch. Very disappointed with this purchase. Will bee contacting them to replace or refund depending on length of time they quote me to replace... not waiting another 4months!!! 😔

The customer service at the Maple Grove location is horrible. When you can get their attention (good luck), most employees act as though they are doing you a favor just to speak with you.

You shouldn’t have to feel bad or like a bother when you ask for help after being ignored by all the employees you walk by without a hello.

Fun store to get ideas for home-decor. Would never purchase from here though - way too expensive.
