Ive been seeing Dr McIntosh for 10+ years and shes the best eye doctor Ive ever seen and just a lovely person. The real star of this place though is Melissa. She is an absolute delight and is INCREDIBLY helpful. Shes great at helping you pick out a frame that looks fab on you and also does everything in her power to get you the best deal. She spends time pricing it all the different ways possible to see what works best. Shes informative, kind, and a pleasure to have a conversation with. I couldnt recommend this place more! 5+ stars!

Melissa at JCPenney Optical and Dr. Macintosh are superb at their jobs--Dr. Macintosh has over 27 years experience and had done my exam 7 years prior to my experience today. They fit me into their busy schedule and were able to get me glasses to replace the ones I broke FASTER than anyone in town (believe me, I called around for an hour). PLUS, Melissa diligently figured out what insurance I had (I was clueless) and figured out how to save me money, despite the fact that I was desperate for new glasses, insurance applied or no. I left there feeling so good about my experience and relieved to know new glasses were on their way! CALL THEM--youll be glad you did--seriously!

Was able to get same day service. Great customer service.

Ordered a pair of glasses. Called a week later. Order not ready. 10 days later I called to check on the order. Was then informed my order had been cancelled the same day it was ordered. The store manager told us the lab had tried everything possible to make the std single vision lens to fit but nothing would work. Why did I have to call and wait that long. Was also told my insurance was reversed but when I went to another store to get glasses nothing has been done.

Im really surprised at all the poor reviews. Weve had nothing but great service here. We even had to do a walk in because there were no appointments available. Was seen much quicker than i had thought we would.

Dr. E. McIntosh gave me the worst eye exam I have ever had in my life.. It took about 15 min after which she rushed me back to the register and charged me 60$. She then gave me the wrong prescription. After talking a closer look at it, I realized she didnt give me an accurate eye exam at all. She just used the prescription she had on file from 2 yrs back.. when I returned the next day to change my prescription she was late for work and ignored me when I addressed her.. She then gave another lady the same 15min exam she gave me..MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE THERE WAS AWFUL....

The worst service I ever had. The eye test was a complete hit job, the incompetent eye (doctor: not sure if she went to med school) took the same measurements from my old glasses and used them for my new prescription. I wanted to improve my vision not keep the same prescription.I came to JCPenney optical and wanted to use the 2 for 99$ deal they advertise, instead they charged my insurance 495 & for one low quality plastic frame and I never got the second pair that I paid for!Stay clear from this place, the eye test is a joke, the service is horrible and scaming customers is part of their practice.

Went their for new glasses on 8/30 two weeks later I was told that something happened to them at lab and their had to remake them. Got them two weeks later couldnt see thru them. Turns out vision set incorrectly .they sent them back. Its now 10/23, still no glasses, said they got my lens back from lab but not my frames, it will be another week to get them .it should not take 2 months to get a pair of reading glasses .

Cant wait until I can see it on my phone.
