This place (Wolfchase) was so clean, organized, sanitized and the optometrist and the tech and even the front desk staff were so welcoming and friendly! They also had a wide range of lens choices from high-end brands, to choose from! I ended up leaving the mall with my new frames—- it doesn’t get any better than that! BTW, Jenny was EXCEPTIONAL!
I purchased a pair of sunglasses frames from a location in Chicago and requested to get my prescription put in them with clear glass lenses. My glasses came earlier than expected and I was already back in Memphis. I got the glasses shipped and when I went to pick them up, they were in fact sunglasses. Jennesiea was so nice and helpful! She was able to rectify this situation without an issue! I truly appreciated her service
I love LensCrafters, great staff and selection of products although they need to update their hours. If planning on going here they won’t be open. Came about 10:15 and had to stand and wait cause they were still closed. Other than that I recommend them.
I was able to get an eye exam as a walk in with very little wait. The receptionist was very friendly and was able to walk me through the process quickly. The Dr. was able to refit me for contacts as well as glasses in less than an hour. I would definitely recommend and come back.

$410 for single vision lenses to get put In some frames that you already own is just OUTRAGEOUS!! Not to mention them are just ordinary lenses; without anything extra included. Just plain lenses. And for the older women to walk over to her associate Ms. Avery and complain about me asking for the price of just lenses and the price for buying their frames and lenses is beyond me. I want to pay cheaper for any service. Especially $410. NOW, I would’ve been in the wrong if I commented on her actions; instead I called elsewhere and got a $69.00 price for just lenses to get put in frames that I own already. I left them where they stand. Angel eye was great, but LensCrafters can kiss it both.Very overpriced and unprofessional.

She answered all my questions, thoroughly explained her recommendations, and made sure I was comfortable with my glasses investment. The store at Wolfchase Galleria was very clean, and all safety protocols were being followed. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make my experience the best it could be. They helped me pick out frames that were appropriate and flattering. Mary made sure that the price I paid was the best the store could offer, even though I wasnt aware of discounts that were available. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I am an over the road trucker. I was able to get a dr appt and ordered two pairs of glasses.I am also from out of state. With not being able to get them instantly, my eyes are that bad, I had to have them shipped to my house.Lawerence, easily answered my questions before I started this process and assured me I would be good to go.Avery, attended to my needs in picking the frames and went above and beyond. When they came into the store, she called and took care of me again.I could never ask for better customer service. I visited this store to look at some frames for my new glasses. Unfortunately I did not bring my prescription with me because I really didn’t think I needed it. The young lady at the front rudely informed me that I could not try on any frames because I didn’t have a prescription. Very annoying since I drove 20 minutes due to the store being at the other end of town. I went to 3 other places and no one asked for my prescription. I really don’t understand that policy since bringing a prescription does not guarantee that I would buy my frame there which after this encounter I definitely will not. Too bad for them since they actually had a couple of frames I liked.
Lawrence fitted our glasses with great care and knowledge. He also gave tremendous advice around our lens and insurance options. I highly recommend Lawrence. He was the consummate professional! All other employees were also very friendly and they were doing a fantastic job with COVID safety practices.
I had my very first appointment at Lens Crafters about a week ago, and my experience was pleasant. I had the earliest appointment at ten, and my eye doctor got me in and out. Not only was he extremely informative, but he reassured me that I wasn’t blind as a bat which is always good. They took temperatures, wore masks, and antibacterial was everywhere. When it came time to pick out frames, an employee helped me and told me the procedure. Great style frames and the price was affordable. There’s always a promotion wether you have insurance or pay out of pocket. This is the only place I’ll go if I ever need an exam.

I can not separate Lenscrafter and Dr. Clarks office in this review. They share the same space and coexist as one unit.Overall Lenscrafter performed really well. Received mine and my wife’s glasses and am very pleased. Raven even attempted to assist with lack of care from Dr. Clark’s office. As other reviews state Dr. Clark is absolutely nice. However his front office show very little concern once you leave their office.Dr. Clarks office initially ordered one of my contacts with the wrong prescription. Honest mistake because we were looking at two different levels. This I will give a pass.I tried for weeks to take advantage of a rebate Dr. Clark pushed for contacts. Twice my rebate claim was rejected because invoice was not reflecting properly purchased contacts for claim. Drove back to get a new invoice. After second attempt I was told by Dr. Clark’s front office they would reach out to determine how to properly write invoice to receive claim. I waited a week before calling and then called daily leaving a message asking about status. Not once could Dr. Clarks office return a call. Finally I called Raven and asked her to pass a message to Dr. Clarks office. Several hours later I called again and asked Raven to pass a message to Dr. Clark personally since his office could not return a call and he probably has no clue they do mot return calls. Finally I received a call from Dr. Clark’s office. However it was his front office calling and not in a happy mode. They were upset that I called twice that day and received message through Raven. Somehow it was turned that it’s not their responsibility. But, they are willing to do me a favor. I tried to explain it was according to company giving rebate that invoice was improperly filled out and I asked why they could not return a call. That’s when I got it from both barrels. Let’s say front office shares little of Dr. Clarks demeanor. They could redo invoice if I would drive back and get it. A favor. But nothing was shared if they understood why rebate was rejected twice. Just a young lashing.I asked to speak to Dr. Clark and was quickly told Dr. Clark does not speak to patients. Yes I hung up. Who in their right mind would pay a company and take abuse.I then called back to Raven and out of courtesy asked that store manager please call me to assist. Raven said that Dr. Clark’s office shares a space with Lenscrafter but they are independent. I asked that store manager gets involved. Raven was kind and apologized for Dr. Clark’s office and said she would pass information to store manager. I mentioned I was retired military and fully understand how to run complaints up a chain of command.Out of respect I would like to give the store manger a chance to resolve issue. But I am willing to go up the chain of command of Lenscrafter one step at a time. Let’s see whom within Lenscrafter steps up to the plate.

LensCrafters is not affiliated with the doctors office next door. At least that is what the doctors office said after making me wait 1 hour past my appointment time. People should realize that the doctors office is a separate business from LensCrafters because LensCrafters is a national chain, not the little office next door. Obviously LC benefits from the exams performed next door.That said, by the time I got to LC, several friendly folks offered to help me. The store was clean, bright, and well-organized as you would expect. When I was ready (not the salesperson) I was immediately helped which is nice. They quickly brought up my insurance plan and read to me my options that I already knew, but I think this was good customer service.The next part I dont blame the employees for but LC itself. The process became more of a car sell experience. When I noted I wasnt going to be able to pay the pricey bill for my glasses that day and would need to wait a week or so, the salesperson started finding coupons. Why cant you offer coupons in the first place? That is why it felt like buying a car. I could buy a used car for what they want to charge for the glasses by the way. Anyway, I got my info and planned to return later, and asked the salesperson for his hours (as a way to see if he earned commission which would somewhat excuse him for not offering coupons up front) but he said he doesnt get commission. And, despite the heavy mass marketing of glasses in one hour, I was told my glasses wouldnt be ready in an hour anyway. So 3 stars for LensCrafters.If I was reviewing the doctors office next door, theyd have lost 1 star for making me wait 1 hour for an appointment Id booked weeks ago (thats just poor office management), 1 star for the place being dirty and cramped, and 1 star for the doctor telling me that Im old and my eyes arent going to get any better so get used to it and likely surgery when Im 80. The doctors office is a solid 2 stars (as rated by others here on Google).In retrospect, I might still see the doctor for exams (but not on the weekend even with an appointment) because they had newer equipment than where Ive been going for the last few years, and I did appreciate their information relayed (just not being reminded Im old although I dont think 40 is necessarily old in 2019). I like that they printed the prescription for me right there for glasses, and that I can take it wherever I want. I am returning to the doctor to pick up my contacts which is on a one-time pay setup which I think is a good deal.People, be fair when you review.
I felt I needed to post this since LensCrafters provided such great service. I went to several different optical stores but, LensCrafters had the frames that I really wanted. The time I spent in the store was rewarding because I left the store with my glasses the same night. Their customer service is excellent...... Fredrick Douglass goes the extra mile to make you feel great. Fredrick explains things as he goes along. He is also very personable and I prefer a professional who can smile. The customer service has declined over the 3 years I’ve been with them! It is ridiculous that I have to call 5 or 10 times in the row in order for someone to answer. I’ve even had to call the area that you pick the frames from in order to get over to schedule me an appointment and NO HELP !!! No one in the world can be this busy if they’re no longer taking Walk-ins. What’s the purpose of having a front desk team IF NO ONE IS GOING TO PICK UP THE PHONE!!!
It started well. Sometimes, things occur which are not only vexing, but cause great difficulty. I completed an order and didn’t have any issues until it was time to complete the purchase with my credit card. Phone calls were made to fix the issue without success. I agreed to return the following day to see if the issue was resolved. Needless to say, it was not. I waited and waited while routers and credit card machines were restored to operative conditions. Days later my card has been charged but my eyeglass order is still incomplete. I call to get an update. I am told we process those credit cards all day, every day and it is just my brand new-never used before card causing this issue. And I have to wait days for this pending charge to erase itself. I ask about other locations, but only two are mentioned. To the point, my card was processed and is currently showing a pending charge for the incomplete purchase. Though LensCrafters is saying the charge has not been authorized and my purchase is still incomplete. They can’t void the purchase because it doesn’t exist in some book they have. There are just times when we have had poor service from a company and need to express our concerns. Is there anyone at LensCrafters that can work with synchrony bank to get this issue resolved in a timely manner? Void this Phantom purchase and restore my balance so I can go elsewhere.
Terrible customer service. Girl at Dr office was so rude today. There’s so many optometrist who would never let rude women work for them. The optometrist needs more professional staff and the business would grow and so would his/her bank account.
They promised to call in 10 days or less when my order were ready. On day 11, with no news from LC, I called the store to find, after a 15-minute wait on the phone, that my order had been cancelled for unknown reasons and, as they became aware for my call, they would expedite a new order. I refused and requested a refund. For how pricey this store is, service should be a galaxy better. I gave two stars because the process to get my money back was fast and easy.
The side for the selection of frames was excellent. Jennesiea took her time and was very attentive to my concerns and offered various options for cost savings and style... She is the reason why I’m giving two stars because if my experience was solely based on my experience at the optometrist side of LensCrafters, I would not give a star at all. I had a 2:30 appointment on 2/9/19. It was 15 minutes later before anyone looked at the sign in sheet to acknowledge I was there. Then it was another 27 minutes from that point to get to the back and start my testing. I asked the female technician can she explain to me why it has taken over 30 minutes for me to be seen when you guys had 3 employees at the desk? Obviously my question irritated her as her response was, “This IS a doctor’s office!” I told her that is no excuse because I work in a surgical suite in a hospital so that know about being on time but I also know how to communicate to staff, physicians, and patients when issues arise that may delay services. It’s called Service Recovery! She then went on to explain how they had two difficult patients that took longer than usual. I then said, “Well communication is key Ma’am. When I showed up five minutes early, I should have been notified at that time my services would be delayed and that’s totally acceptable or I should’ve received a phone call to state such issues!” She was speechless at that time. Her comment about being a “Doctor’s Office” was not the appropriate response. I will not return to this office again and will find another “Doctor’s Office” that can communicate and extend better customer service than this office. It’s obvious that customer service and service recovery is not a priority.

Staff was polite, but they said they could get me right in; but I had to sit for nearly an hour. Five minute exam, already knew the frames I wanted; and then was told it would take 10 days... used to be an hour or so...They also said they would email me to establish communication... had to call them to tell me the lenses were made but it would take another 2-3 days for them to be available... remember when you could get them in an hour or so???I hope this is the last pair I ever need. Extremely overpriced and takes forever... should have waited the 4 months with the VA... Cost a lot less and would have gotten in the same time.

My absolute favorite pair of glasses got broken last week. I called around to where I originally bought my glasses from and they could not help me. I called around to a lot of different stores could not help me. Not only did LensCrafters get me in, when I got to the place it was in the mall so I was able to do a little Xmas shopping done while I waited. The young lady with dark hair fixed my glasses so fast and she did such a wonderful job!!! I know where I am going to get a new pair of glasses!!!

All I wanted was an appointment, but never got it and the rude $$$$$ kept leaving me hanging on hold and when I called back would not answer the phone/answer and place phone on hold. I would not get an eye exam there now if it was free.
No one answers the phone so you literally have to drive up there just to get a simple question answered.-They are not THAT busy for this to be happening.
My mother needed glasses so i took her to get some new glasses. Well when we got there we waited for about 1 hour to get someone to help us because nobody assisted us, it was not that busy but to wait for about 1 hour for someone to say MAY I HELP YOU really placed a bad taste in my mouth. The rep who assisted us on getting my mom her glasses was really just into getting us out the door wanting to add us different stuff to her glasses etc without explaining what it was.I will not be going back next, also when you call them they place you on hold for a long period of time.i know your busy but 30 minutes hold times are unacceptable.
