If I could leave 0 stars I would . The lines are outrageously long for you to get to a window and still have no prescription ready . Then if you try to be proactive and call ahead theyll give you a time AND STILL NOT HAVE YOUR SCRIPT READY, I mean its not like its life or death, oh wait, it is .And if you think going in will shorten your trip, HA ! Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy

The pharmacy at this store is horrible they always take long. As well as trying to reach them on the phone. I was on hold for and hour and 30 mins until I was able to speak to someone. It’s so ridiculous on how the pharmacy there is in bad condition.
I loathe this pharmacy with a passion. Nothing is ever in stock. No one answers the phones. Ive been on hold for 30 mins regarding a prescription that was supposed to be ordered yesterday. My daughter has an ear infection on an ear she had surgery on a couple of weeks ago and I was told they would have it in the morning today. It has been over 24 hours and it is still processing This is not the first time Ive had this issue either. At this point Id rather say forget the insurance and pay out of pocket at walgreens across the street .Updated to add photo of wait time... still currently waiting.
This place is trash, took 3 days to get my meds. Avoid this store. It used to be good but its been going down hill lately.
This CVS takes forever with meds, even when you call to make sure its going to be ready in time you still end up waiting at the store. Ridiculous.

Absolutely ridiculous that I just spent 1 full hour unsuccessfully trying to reach any one in this store by phone. Thats one hour of hearing the repeating covid vaccine message over & over. Earlier when I did get through to the pharmacy I was rudely spoken to by someone insisting I use the app to check on a prescription. That would be the app that never works right when I try to use it.
DO NOT get photos developed here. They neglected to let us know when our photos were ready, so after the 30 days had passed they deleted everything. When we spoke to them on the phone they were rude. They seemed to think this was all our fault when they neglected to let us know when the photos were ready. Horrible service.
The staff is rude and there’s no urgency whatsoever. Don’t waste your time here, I definitely would recommend another pharmacy.
I am delighted to make my purchases in this store, the cashiers are always friendly and respectful, I regularly visit this cvs, it is a little away from my house but I prefer it because of the friendly treatment of the staff who work there.
Horrible! Id give this 0 stars if I could. I was told wrong information regarding covid testinhs by people on the phone and customer service. I was told to wait in line and that I could get my covid testing come to find out that was the vaccine line. I was then told to got outside to the 1st lane to receive test through drive through. The website gives wrong info and makes it sound like theres a minute clinic in there and theres not. I was absolutely beyond fatigued from some sort of viral infection and it took everything in me just to drive there this was after 3 other places. Thought it said rapid test and its not so Im missing out on pay in the process as a contract healthcare worker
Service is awful! If you are ill and actually need to get a prescription to treat your illness in a timely manner, good luck.

Please train your elderly employees on what an e-gift card is. I kept explaining myself over and over again to this elderly man. He kept relating it to my CVS card which has nothing to do with it. And then he says I have to have my CVS card on me. Why? Im REDEEMING A Gift card.
I came to CVS with my mom this evening to take advantage of a clearance sale they had on mouthwash. My mom bought some this morning for herself and came with me to buy some for my family. The lady at the register, her name is Yordanos, told me she couldnt sell me any mouthwash. Didnt really give a reason. She just said it is 4 per household. I tried to explain that I have my own card and household and I should be allowed to buy for my family as a customer. She said no. I asked for corporate number because I was very upset that I couldnt buy clearance items because my mother had already bought some for herself. I really think employees shouldnt assume customers live under the same household. Very frustrating. I contacted headquarters and filed a complaint.
We really like the pharmacy staff here. 3 times now techs have been helpful at getting the best price for the meds- be it an OTC option or running it under a better discount plan. Not all pharmacies would do that, and we really appreciate them. Ill take a little slower service for that level of care.
I come to this CVS several times a week. The manager lady is super nice. As is all the staff. Have not had an issue with customer service if anything they go above and beyond.
@cvspharmacy why do you have 4 registers, but there is only 1 cashier? Every time I come to this cvs in Mesquite, TX on Cartwright Rd there is a really long wait. The staff is very slow, and they don’t seem to care. #absolutelyridiculous! I’ll try @walgreens again I guess?
Two stars for convenience (to my home). 1 Star for pharmacy’s department. Now depending on who’s working...will determine your service. I’ve had exceptional service from Whitney. All others aren’t professional nor do they have my RX ready upon arrival. I’ve had refills etc that weren’t followed up on. Just several different issues from it being transferred (without permission) to another location to them overcharging me all together.It needs to be a total clean out I’ve seen medication on the shelves that’s outdated over a year.

As is very frequent at this location, I call in advance to get a time when my RX will actually be ready. Today I called at 4 PM and was told that my RX would definitely be ready by 7 PM.At 7:40 PM, I arrived and it wasnt ready because the pharmacist needed to check it. No problem, Ill wait...Since Id used the lane beside the building, they wanted me to drive around so the customers behind me could be served. I preferred to wait since it would only be 1-2 minutes.The clerk called the manager of the store, Celia. Celia informed me that I was required to drive around and get back in line or she would call the police and have me and my vehicle removed. I asked her if that was truly necessary since it had already been 3 minutes and it was only supposed to take 1-2 and they already had my credit card.Celia said, Maam, drive around or Ill call 911. Go to lane 2 and we will be with you when the RX is ready. So even though it was 45 minutes past the promised time, I was threatened with the police for $4.05 worth of meds.There were 5 people clearly visible, 1 Pharmacist, and 1 hateful Manager.I drove around the building and was there less than 30 seconds when my RX was ready. $4.05.I am a frequent patient of this particular CVS in Mesquite and it just keeps getting more and more apathetic. Now its downright incompetent and hostile.Dont bother going to the Mesquite E. Cartwright branch if you need service and dont believe any time that is promised.

Im not sure where the other reviewers are shopping, but the service I receive here is, bar none, some of the most personable and helpful that Ive ever experienced.
Team is personable and patient and I can see them working incredibly hard every time I stop in.
We have be using this store for over a year now and have been be happy with this store manager is very helpful front-end employee are nice and helpful as well and the Pharmacists is great but had a bad experience yesterday by and employee in pharmacy never have seen her befor and hope I dont ever again she is very bad for this store (Jacqueline) chewing gum as customer service representative is very unprofessional and your addatude SUCKS!!!!! Yes very obvious that the new management that has taken over has stocked the place with close friends and family. They were rude, have an unqualified kid behind the counter who entered the information wrong and then even when I had the company on the line refused to talk to them made me wait over 30 min when I had the information on the phone for them. It was ridiculous avoid this place Im personally never going there again.
The costumer service is excellent i love it here... All my friends and i come here all the time and the cashier Angela Chavez is awsome we all love her she has great costumer service skills 👍verry helpfull

Very bad customer service. Was told it would be a hour for my prescriptions. Called them before I went was on hold for 10 min for them to tell me it would be 30 min longer. Drive up there in 40 degree weather and still have to wait 30 more min. Then it was ready and had to wait in line while they ket othwrs skip me. Will no longer be using them. BEWARE WHAT THEY TELL YOU!!!!
NOVEMBER 2018!!! Avoid this store if at all possible. Getting worse and worse. Corporate needs to get involved and clean house. Lie to you on the phone, lie to your face. General rxs out of stock. Tell you theyll order it and will be there next day. More LIES. Waiting and calling,waiting and calling. Now they say they dont know when itll be in. Will not call nearest CVS to see if they have it. Pharmacy/Store really has gone downhill New pharmacist and staff are unorganized and confused. Lost Rxs, not in stock, not ordered and ready when promised etc.....about ready to ditch that location. Would already be with other pharmacy all together if not for my Caremark prescription provider association with Cvs. The store inside and out is filthy. Trash blowing around in the parking lot. And a plastic bag hanging in the tree out front.Theres trash everywhere inside. Product is off the shelves and on the floor in most isles. Nothings hardly organized on the shelves. its pitiful. Nobody cares. It seems to be business as usual for them at this location. STILL A DUMPY TRASHED OUT STORE.
The pharmacy staff at this location is very rude. They are not knowledgeable about the products in the store itself, and check your prescriptions carefully because they will substitute generics for name brand without your permission.
****Warning this is long********RUDE EMPLOYEE*****I HOPE SOMEONE SEES THIS*****I went to this CVS to go buy some stuff I needed and as soon a I walk in a Hispanics lady comes up to me to asked me if I spoke English because she did not.Me: yes I speak English, do you need help?Hispanic lady; yes please..can you help me ? I am trying to tell the lady that I dont understand why she charged me 35.89 (for only 2 gallons of milk a shampoo and 2 packs of toilet paper)So I start talking to the managerSo I asked her .. can you explain to me so I can explain to her what are the first two charges for?Supposed manager start yelling at me in front of ALL the customers literally yelling telling how I just got here and I dont understand and that the Hispanic lady has been giving her a HARD TIME...At this point the Hispanics lady starts crying! Like sobbing because she cant believe she is treating us this way.. I stopped the lady and told her to not yell because I was not yelling at her. She threw the receipt at me and stated she had other customers to take care of 😨 at this point I started getting upset and I told her that we were customers as well that needed further explanation in this matter. She ignore me and say NEXT: I looked at the customer behind us and he was like I have plenty of time and at this point I did not want to keep a line waiting so we let him and a few others that were there all along. Note: they were all angry at the Suppose mAnager because they saw how I had just walked in and asked her a simple question and she started yelling at me. So we went back to the conversation to how the Hispanic lady did not understand what were the other 2 items she charged her so the Indian lady(supposed manager) started saying some things about her policy and I agreed I understand the policies I dont denied that. So at then end the Hispanic lady stated she wants to return all iteM because she charged to much! And I told her that and she continued to yell at me and stated again she had customers and at the end she started ringing all items and the refund came to 24 some change!!!!!!!! 😨😠😠😠😠 at this point I am shocked and angry and start asking her where the 36 dollars came from???? The Indian lady could not give me an answer on to why she charged her $36 and not 24 something. At the point she was just ringing other items the customer did not want in the first place. And this is the video I got to record... A little bit and not enough of the whole situation that happened.. I myself had never experience something so shocking like this!! I dont understand why people treats anyone like this... This is unfair.. Note: I hope someone from cvs sees this because this is not how a customer should be treated at all.. I hate ALL CVS!!! They are the absolute worse!! My doctor called in a rx around noon, I called about an hour later they stated they never rcv the rx and told me to call my doctor. I notified them I work there and I seen the nurse put the rx in. He said sorry they dont have the rx (he didnt even put me on hold to chk). I gave them until 5pm to have it ready. I tried calling first but after sitting on hold for 30 mins I just decided to drive up there. Of course the rx wasnt ready!!! They said they needed to verify the direction and the called the office with no response. I called my co worker and she said they didnt call not once!! So my daughter has to suffer bc they cant get their crap together!!!! The only reason I use them is bc my insurance makes me.
The worst Cvs ever!!! Managers no friendlies at all!!! They have so many limitations on products for the customers!! Like tides you can just buy 4, etc.And everytime I have a problem there. Because they put limitation on your purchase Or because a coupon or because a ecb didnt print!! Found another cvs much better then this one. I will never be back.

While I have been in the pharmacy waiting to be attended, I only hear the machine telling them that there are customers waiting on the phone, now I am one of them, more than 15 minutes on the line and apparently they do not care
