I was looking forward to doing business after finding a vehicle I was interested in online. I live in a different state, and requested some pictures of the actual vehicle instead of just a stock image as shown on the dealerships website. I was contacted by two sales reps who told me to email them with any information I needed. I requested actual photos of the vehicle I was interested in, but they never emailed me back. Why have a website it you cant keep it updated with actual pictures of the actual vehicles? Why have sales representatives reach out for requests, only to have them not follow through? Poor Customer Service Dean McCrary.
Do not buy from Dean McCrary or use their service department. Dean McCrary does not stand behind their products or warranty. They will lead you on for months with excuses and stall tactics. My Kia engine died and the process of trying to get it taken covered has been horrible and very stressful. They did not cover the warranty and left me and my family with debt and without a car.
Tyler made me feel very comfortable about the purchase of my new Kia Sportage. There was no pressure to stray from what I was looking for. The whole team was very nice to my husband and I.
Absolutely horrible service dept management (Adam). Had my car towed in for a bad alternator (warranty issue), and they took a week before they even looked at it. Had me replace battery before they would do an alternator diagnostic, and kept the core that I paid for. Never communicated when they said they would. No loaner, no rental. Did not finish my service for 2 weeks. Dealership manager immediately pawned me off on someone over him who would call me on Monday. Took a week for that call... New camera tripod stolen from car during 2 weeks Kia had my car.Get your car serviced ANYWHERE but here!
The staff is very polite and helpful. Mr. Rodney, Mr. Shane, and Big Z were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our experience at Kia McCrary Dealership was very pleasing and pleasant. We felt welcomed because of the hospitality. We decided to purchase a KIA Soul there, instead of, traveling further. 10 Stars rating!
I bought my Q5 a little over a year ago when Dean McCrary still sold Audi/Porsche. When I purchased my Q5 I bought some Ancillary Warranties that are now still owned/managed by Dean McCrary. So I went to use one of these warranties and got an unexpected ear full of information which did not line up with the information provided by the Dean McCrary employee. Surprise surprise this employee was terminated by the new Audi dealer for these very reasons. Needless to say this left me trying to find someone at Dean McCrary that could assist me in getting my money back. This road lead to me to a dead end named Bill, the GM at Dean McCrary. Bill apparently has a hearing problem as the entire time I explained this warranty was falsely sold to me and my husband, Bill wanted to argue over my reasonings for wanting to use the warranty. When I explained my Audi service rep had issues also getting someone to give direction, Bill wanted to spout and holler about how he knew this individual and spoke to this person on a daily basis and would call this person right now while I was on the phone......well, Bill never called this person and I checked.....Bill doesn’t know this person either or talk to them. As the infantile conversation continued I advised Bill of his unprofessional behavior and that obviously this was a Dean McCrary wide issue, Bill decided it was best to yell at me (a female) that I wasn’t getting any money back. Which by the way is legally not possible Bill. I could get a prorated amount but I feel the full amount is owed since we were “baited and hooked”.People, do not buy from Dean McCrary and don’t buy into the warranties. If you have a warranty for life then read the fine print as I hear that has been an issue for Audi owners who purchased from Dean McCrary also. Bad business!! And what company promotes people who argue with customers.....if you can handle customer issues then find a different job!!!!!
This dealership took advantage of my elderly parents and actually told them to let the bank repo their car then proceeded to sell them another car they couldnt afford. They also lied on the application they turned into the bank.
Great dealership. Good people
Quick service
First, recently relocated from California where reviews/Yelp are our way of life. We review EVERYTHING before we go and based off reviews, THEN we make our choice. So, Im a pro at honest/fair reviews. I dont review a company UNTIL my services are done, but here goes...Being transparent, I hesitated visiting this location because of its low review status, but my VW wouldnt start and need my transportation, so I came in Dean McCrary. From the lady who answered my distressed phone call while I was stranded waiting on a tow (she was empathetic and made me feel like she really was concerned), to the gentleman who showed me where to pull up for service (even waiting for a while opening the door until my son got out the car) to Pauletta arranging services for me to get squared away. She could tell I just needed to get squared away quickly, as I had my son with me too. She didnt let me leave without thinking about the caution of putting it on the road again. Not pushy or shark attack for money, she was just relying facts. It was a challenging day with all this going on. Fingers crossed, the Service Team seeks out the problem and not adhere to these negative comments I have read below of them taking advantage of people for $$. A wife of a deployed Marine wouldnt take to well to that!(Me). Once the business is done, I will be back to give my concluding review. Hopefully the 5 stars stay! P.S. The service manger Gary was also willing to listen when I called him.
Dean McCrary service department was supposed to fix a cable on my 2017 Hyundai elantra because the gas door would not open. After charging 71 dollars to supposedly fix it we checked before we drove off and it still was not fixed. We were told that we have a 12 month 12 thousand miles warranty. They took the car in the back again to try and fix it this time they tell us we need to order a cable for 31o dollars if we have a problem with the cable again I replied what about the 12 month 12 thousand miles warranty. She said thats on what we fixed. What a MESS
Worst service center ever, after several attempts to fix the a/c on my car I was told they no longer want to service my cars (which I purchased there because of their warranty forever). After my wife got upset because the service rep and manager refused to talk to her, the manager tells me that my wife has mood swings. You purchase a $36,000 car and the a/c doesnt work properly and you ride around in the south Alabama heat, I bet your moods will swing too! This has been an ongoing complaint since the car had 20,000 miles. It now has 56,000 and out of manufacturers warranty, so we are stuck. The cars dash has rattled in the 5,000 mile service. They also refuse to fix it after it has been repeatedly complained about (all documented I may add). Service representative and management are not sympathetic in the least bit and were rather condescending to us. Telling me at first we thought we had a problematic car, but now we believe we have a problematic customer. The buying experience was great, I purchased 2 cars in the same day, then my son purchased a car the next week. I also referred other people there, which I now regret because they too have had bad experiences with the service department. Buyers beware! Its worth a little drive to be treated with respect and have your issues addressed in a professional manner.
Friendly professional sales staff Bree greeted us.the service desk people were friendly Juan the mechanic was very nice and explained everything...Thanks Dennis in service for making the experience excellent even on his day off:-)
Its after the purchase the BS began... Mazda Not the entire staff but my experience was very frustrating... First thing there were things told that was very misleading and almost lies. Second thing took a little over 2 months for me to get my paper work into the tax office so I could purchase a tag. In the mean time I was pulled over 3 times and received a ticket. Contacted the office multiple times and spoke with the title clerk multiple times which got me no where. I was looking into a lawyer to just turn the car back in and get my money back. Within 5 days my paper work popped up at the tax office.. I asked to be refunded at least the amount of my tag it ticket they agreed but I have not received anything yet. I call and leave messages and never get a return call. Thing is just dont lie about helping me unprofessional and shifts credibility on sales.. I would not recommend my family or friends if anyone to purchase from this dealership
Wonderful dealership with excellent staff. I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Tucson after inquiring about it online. Haley, the internet sales representative was very nice and welcoming and responded to me very quickly. That along with the price, warranty, and customer service of the salesman Kenneth immediately won me over. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle, whether new or used, to visit Dean McCrary.
I live 2000 miles from Dean McCrary Porsche, and I found a pre-owned car there that seemed just right for me. Eric Johnson went above and beyond to send me all sorts of info and even videos of the car so that I could be comfortable buying it sight unseen. He was more concerned with me having a great experience than with making a sale. I ended up buying a different car elsewhere that was even more perfect for me but I would not hesitate to buy from Eric and Dean McCrary in the future or refer friends their way. I just wish I lived nearby so that would be more likely. Thanks again, Eric. Steaks on me if Im ever in Mobile!
Raymond Williams was an outstanding sales person. He was very patient with me explaining everything, because I was a first time new car buyer. He went above and beyond even staying a half hour after close to finish the deal. Hes very knowledgeable on the car I bought and took the time to show me how to use my gadgets. I highly recommend him on buying a car from mazda.
Im a consultant to franchised dealers nationwide and provide training how to handle customers in a professional manner with focus on customer retention. I recently purchased a 2010 Audi A5 from Dean McCrary and I must say they dont need my services. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, not pushy, and provided answers to all my questions. The GSM (General Sales Manager) was very forthcoming and fair in his pricing, and the F&I manager knew his stuff. I even met the dealer, Dean McCrary, and he was very friendly and interested in his customers well-being. I have also had another Audi serviced at this dealership and their Service Advisor has always been top-notch. I know first-hand that there is great room for improvement in franchised dealerships as thats how I make my living. However, this dealership passes the test with flying colors.
Inez Sessions did a fantastic job by helping my my family find the perfect car. Our expectations were exceeded by her friendliness and her ability to stay focused.I am truly very happy with our experience and I hope you too will find your perfect Volvo this holiday season.
This was an amazing experience Paul and Justin supported my decision to purchase a used vechile. Many places push you to a new car. Not the case at Dean McCray. I really appreciate that they did not pressure me into something I didnt need. Thanks guys!!
Horrible service. DO not buy a car from there. Do not have your car fixed there. Or buy from them or have anything to do with them. Go to New Orleans if you have to. My car was there for a month for a side view mirror. It was a circus. Then my daughters car was there for a month and I was overcharged to almost $1000 and the car wasnt fixed. They are scam artists and dont care about their customers. AVOID THEM!!
I was in desperate need of reliable transportation. After several text messages, phone calls, and visits to the dealership I purchased a 2014 Mazda 2. Love it and it gets great gas mileage. If you are in need of a car, go by Dean McCrary Mazda and ask for Zach Morris. Tell him I sent ya!
Mrs. Christina Poole was so polite. This is how a car dealership should do business. They treat their customers with respect. I will definitely come back soon. Loved it!
Left our 2009 A4 with service after experiencing very strange electrical problems. Told we needed a new comfort module and that would take care of it all. $1300 later and same problems. Trunk wont open, entire infotainment system doesnt work etcAlso told price included an oil change which they never did either! No one seemed to care about my anger and displeasure !
I had such an amazing experience with the salesperson Haylee. She knew a lot about every car I looked at and helped me make an informed decision. I enjoyed how clean every car was and how quickly I was able to fill out paper work to. Such a great experience!
Ronnie was very kind. He listened to my needs. He tried everything in his power to get the car I needed. Tod did an awesome job getting the right deal for me. If you are looking for a car ask for Ronnie. He will work hard for you.
Eric is a very knowledgeable Porsche expert. He has been very patient and professional in all of our dealings. He has spent lots of time finding me the perfect vehicle. If you are looking for a Porsche, he is your guy. He will take care of you.
I had a wonderful experience, and love my Volvo. The manager, Luke, was very informative, and Inez did an amazing job!!! Very satisfied and will be recommending people here!
Fantastic service! Went the extra mile! Best dealership experience I have ever had! Would recommend them to anyone. Devon and Jeff were absolutely fantastic!
Poor customer service. I gave specifications on the car that I was searching for. Initially the salesman, was eager but enthusiasm waned when the model I wanted was out of state. He proceeded to suggest models available in stock with features that I had clearly stated I had no interest in. He assured me that he would email me and call me with the price and information Of the out of state inventory requested and I have not heard from him since. I have placed 4 calls to the office and have Yet to receive a return phone call from anyone. Buyer be aware.
Great dealership! Easy purchase and loving my Mazda6! Everyone I dealt with was very nice and gasp fun to work with (you dont always find that when trying to purchase a car). Im bad with names but, Chase, Jeff, William, Traci, and everyone else who helped me and chatted with me while we completed the transaction were enjoyable people. My only piece of constructive criticism is that I hope Dean McCrary will improve the Mazda sales area in the near future. In my opinion, the sales team and the Mazda brand would be better represented by a more modern dealer showroom. However, I know his dealerships have been expanding and growth always takes time. I have not yet used the service area but will post a review after I have used their services.
Dont come to here buy car.they going to cheat on you.they not give you the service they promise to you,I spend $95000 buy the panamera, after I diver 25000 miles.the car stop on the road.I bring car to this place.first time they told me is engine problem.it need change the whole engine.after 2 weeks.they call back say they found bad gas make engine not work. the car still in warrantry, they not take care this.Even I pay $4500 extra buy the 5 year dealer protection plan.I still need pay for the fix.are you kidding me?they think I am stupid or what!Unless you want to spend money on gas by,Their services and their brands do not match, they are the worst service Ive ever seen。
Integrity, honesty and efficiency defined my experience working with the friendly folks at Dean McCrarys Volkswagen. Im very happy with the Warranty Forever program that came with my car as well! Thanks again!
Great bunch of people there. They really worked with me & even came up with creative ideas to make my deal happen. Brian Williams was my salesman who was there to help me work out any issues. He succeded & seen my transactions through almost to the extent of seeming effortless. Thank you.
Brett at kia is awesome
I gave a great review initially. I had been rear ended by someone not paying attention and my vehicle was totaled. I was at a total disadvantage when I arrived and the ‘salesmen’ were all to eager to rake me over the coals and financially rape my bank account. I discovered this after having my VW for about 6 months and said individuals were no longer there and a ‘new’ sales person reviewed my account. It was discussed with the ‘boss’ and he said ‘sorry, nothing I can do’I’ve retracted my review and posting a more accurate one, letting everyone know .. buyer BE WARE
Good service. Service performed faster than what was promised
I just recently bought a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Sport from Paul Stanley at Dean McCrary. I was very happy and extremely impressed with the service, knowledge and professionalism of Paul. As a female purchasing a vehicle, it can at times become a patronizing and condescending process. I was never made to feel this way at all. Very refreshing. Thanks.
Don’t buy a car from this dealership, especially if you live out of town. They’ll pocket any out of state tax and then try to leave you with the remainder. BUYER BEWARE!!To whom it may concern,9/5/18 - Dean McCrary Automotive has been reported to the Fraud Department at TD Auto Finance and the BBB for fraud and theft. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!As of this date, I do not have the tags, title, or registration to my car yet, I am actively and have paid 3 car notes. I will also let you know and you may recall, that I had a witness to the ENTIRE transaction while I was in there with your F&I guy (for a freaking reason after my last experience with your VERY dishonest and disingenuous dealership.) My 16 year old daughter, who did in fact, do an internship with a federal court judge this summer audio recorded the entire conversation between me and Danny, including, but not limited to, the part where Danny asked, “what sales tax did you give Eric last week?” I replied, “New Orleans is currently 6%, but the state sales tax is 9%..” Danny responded, “Ok, I just wanted to make sure that I had the numbers correct, so you didn’t have to pay out of pocket.”I also have two emails from your title department expressing their apologies for their mistake and confusion on only sending a 4% check to The Notary Shoppe. If this is not remedied and rectified by Monday morning, I will be calling every lender that you gave an authorization to pull my credit WITHOUT my permission, calling TD Auto Finance regarding the fraud, and suing the entire company. Thanks bunches! Have a blessed day!! I also have copies of EXACTLY how much I paid. Do you? Yea, didn’t think so.--
Really enjoyed the experience at Dean McCrary. Great salesperson in Derek Montalvo. Christy and I really enjoyed working with him. Good job by the rest of the folks there also. I would definitely recommend the dealership for anyone looking at the Audi line. Thanks, Derek!
After a local dealer refused to return my emails and phone calls, I reached out to Dean McCrary via USAA and received exceptional service from there on out! I cannot begin to express the level of professionalism and customer service I received throughout the buying progress! A huge thanks to Paul and Eric for helping me with my first of many Porsche purchases!
Thanks Justin for the hook up on my new Car!! I really appreciate your help. Paul was a great help too!
I was really impressed by the salesman Mr James Leatherwood and the services thats he givens to me.he is a awesome guy 👍
Service department has the worst customer service. I do not want to deal with them anymore! They need better people to provide better customer service!
I dont usually write online reviews. But I felt compelled to do so after my experience with this dealership. I purchased a 2014 pre-owned Mini Cooper in February of 2017. In October the engine overheated and failed. I took the vehicle to the wonderful people at Jordan Automotive in Daphne Alabama and they diagnosed the problem as a result of a removed thermostat and resultant overheating of the engine. When I spoke to the dealership, I was informed, they had no idea and I purchased the vehicle as is and the only recourse they offered was to trade the vehicle in on another vehicle. So the two issues I see are one, it doesnt seem they did a very thorough pre-owned car inspection and two, they werent very honorable about the product they sold. Ive since had the car repaired at Jordan Automotive and we are quite happy with the work they did.Im sure some of you have had good experiences with them, as far as future business with Dean McCrary, they will never see any of my familys or friends business.
Very Helpful. Billy Lewis has extraordinary customer service skills, and tried his absolute hardest to put me in a car.
Where should start? This dealership has the worst and rudest customer service I have ever had to use. Not one time but every time I go there. Weve had several personal Audis and have 140 other vehicles in our company fleet. I am use to being lied to and service writers looking at caller ID not picking up the phone. You would think an Audi dealership would have a little better customer service..... NOPE! All we want is for someone to call us back and let us know when we MIGHT be able our vehicle back. Dont try and get any answers form service manager either because I think he will still be in the bathroom. We have had different people drop cars off for us and everyone says the same think Rudest people ever!!
Last Tuesday I booked an appointment to test drive a Tiguan. After the test drive, I received at least one e-mail each day for the next three days asking when I would like to schedule a test drive. Obviously communication skills are not their strong point. We arrived Friday morning to go through the paperwork and agree upon a price based on previous experience and lots of research on the internet. We had a figure in mind that was reasonable and fair. After speaking to the salesman, who had only been doing the job for a matter of months, it became clear that he had very limited product knowledge. I asked several questions about the various options available, and each time he had to refer these questions to another salesman. When it came to negotiating a price, we had a range of prices that were acceptable to us. Unfortunately the salesman and his sales manager seemed to be unaware of the prices listed on their website which were at least 2 thousand dollars under the asking price. The final figure includes import costs and taxes which should have been disclosed upfront and should be included in the sticker price and not added as an additional cost.I am aware of the need for the dealership to make a profit, but these underhanded methods of displaying a false low price do not instill confidence. The sales manager was unwilling to negotiate any realistic discounts even though we had proof from various sources that other people in the same geographic region had purchased similar vehicles for several thousand dollars less than their lowest price. When I told them that I would not pay the price they considered fair, rather than trying to make a deal, the sales manager became arrogant and told me in no uncertain terms that no one would sell that car for that price. I then decided to leave and was offered a lukewarm I hope you find another car, comment with no attempt to make a deal of any kind. It was like they didnt want to sell me any car at any price.I could not recommend this dealership to anybody except my ex-husband.
This is by far one of the WORST dealerships in Alabama! They are not people of integrity and do not keep their word. My mother purchased a new Kia Optima from them. After having it for a year, the oil light came on. She took it in to be serviced and they kept it for two days without contacting her. After she called them, they claimed they werent sure what was wrong with it and gave her a loaner car after she requested it. After having her vehicle for a week and a half, they called stating that a valve needed to be replaced but they werent going to pay for it and her warranty wouldnt cover it if she couldnt prove where she had her oil changed. She had it changed twice there and five times at a different company. While the company has since shutdown, she cant get a printout of when the oil was changed. They claimed the vehicle was leaking oil internally and that they didnt notice it when they had just changed her oil three weeks prior to the oil light coming on. She had never had any problems with her car until she took it to them to have the oil changed. Now, they have basically told her to get her car and they will not help. Based on their behavior, it is our sincere belief that they did something wrong to the vehicle when they changed the oil and now, they dont want to make it right. Dean McCrary himself was very rude and inconsiderate. I nor my family will ever do business with them again.
My husband and I just purchased an Audi A8 from Dean Mccrary Audi. Our experience with every aspect of the sale could not have been better. The salesmen were very knowledgeable about the cars features and made sure we were very comfortable with the car before we left. I have had to call a few times after the sale with questions regarding the car and they have been more than willing to help. The finance department was very professional and took the time to explain all the purchase options. We have had the car in for scheduled services and Dennis and Craig have been a pleasure to work with. The work is always completed in a professional and timely manner. Without a doubt we will purchase our next car from Dean Mccrary Imports.
GREAAAAATTTT DEALERSHIP
I had a wonderful experience shopping at the mazda location. My sales guy Zachary Morris was very knowledgable and had a great personality. He really made my shopping trip a pleasure.
Mrs debbie was so helpful put me in a new car and cared was their if I had questions and still talk to her all the time . highly recommend Debbie for all your car needs and questions . thank you again maam .
Thought we found our daughters first car! Wrong! Great car, someone had just traded it last night, so car was not show room clean. Brittany was our sales rep, at first things were okay, then the waiting game began. No financing required, we knew what we wanted. They truly had no time for us. We had people eating, ignoring us, the usually sales game. Well needless to say your staff needs customer service training STARS would definitely help. Sales Training and Relationship Selling. I am a General Manager for a corporation and your lack of customer service would not be tolerated.
Thanks to Christina P. and everyone at Dean McCrary for the excellent service and vast knowledge of their inventory. Ive been to several dealerships in the area and the folks at Dean McCrary definitely were the best.
HORRIBLE customer service! If you are calling from out of town about a car do not expect a call back! I called several times and was really interested in purchasing a car so I put in my application but I kept getting the run around. Even after they did a credit check, which is now on my credit, I still kept getting sales men saying they would call back. The last time I called a sales men tells me oh the car is not available it is in the shop getting fixed. After 3 weeks of terrible service I decided I did NOT want to buy any car from them at all. Waste of my time and mark on my credit!!!
Would never buy a car from this company. Emailed about the availability of a truck twice with no response. Had to call and offered a price and they countered with a price I was okay with. Tried for 2 days to get them to email me the write up on the price so I could take it to my bank.......WELL 7pm on the second night of asking for the write up I ask them if they have it and he say sorry my manager said its sold. VERY SHADY CAR DEALER THE BAD REVIEWS ARE LEGIT DONT BUY
My dad just bought a 2013 Chrysler 300c from Zack Morris and absolutely love it well recommended for future buying and will buy again thanks again.
Great place to do business at wonderful service department always ready to meet your needs
Great salesman he showed me all the details about the car.. and will buy again from Dean Mccrarylove the new 300C thank ya boo
OMG! What a mess with the Sale of their Audi side. Now I’m left with Damage to the engine from lousy Techs over tightening clamps that broke numerous pipes. My Loaner car turned out to be an Enterprise rental and They refused to pay it-Now I’ve been sent to Collections by Enterprise. What A Mess! Pay for the Damages and the Loaner you guaranteed.
Had a great experience during my visit. Very friendly staff. When I finally decide to buy a car, it will be here for sure. Haha.
Dean hooked me up with a fantastic deal you should buy your next car from him
I had an excellent experience when I visited the mazda building. My sales person, Zachary Morris, did a magificent job and is very helpful still and knowledgeable on his products and warranties.
Make the short trip to the VW dealer in Pensacola, and turn a headache in Mobile into a real customer service experience. Never shouldve driven my stock 2013 Golf R up to the service department at Dean McCruddy. Months lost & frustration over, my confidence in the VW brand was COMPLETELY restored in Pensacola.I deleted my detailed review of why you shouldnt waste your time with this poor quality auto group. I will repeat what others I have shared my experience in detail with have said: The sales team is alright-good, the post sales service and support leaves A LOT to be desired. Informed consumers beware.
I despise having to go to the service center to buy a part. Although some workers, like Craig, are a class act. the older, portly man who works at the counter (across from the waiting area) is highly rude and does NOT provide the good service at all. When I approach the counter, he merely looks at me as if Im a stranger walking into his home! No type of greeting or anything! Ive seriously considered not purchasing an audi because of the dispicable service I received from this worker!
This has been my best car experience I have had. The salesperson was excellent. He really helped get me in the car I wanted. I bought an 2014 Kia Optima. I love my car.If anyone is looking for a car I advise you to go to Dean Mccary Kia in Mobile Al.
I shopped at the mazda building and had a really good car buying experience. My salesperson was a guy named zack morris and he had a great personality and was extremely helpful. He even brought his own ice chest from home and filled with water to hand out to his customers and kids!!!!
Worst experience ever! Not only was I there yesterday in person, I called back today. Totally didnt want to sell a car at all. Told lie after lie from manger!! This particular location lost my buisness of not only one cars but 2 before this December 2016. Absolutely have no idea what they are doing. Seems as though salesmen had no say and couldnt even try. With their manager hands were tied who knows nothing or didnt want to be bothered. What a shame this location lost this much money over someone who didnt know what they were doing. By the way they let a cash deal slip through their fingers of not only one but two vehicles! Billy seemed like the only one their with helpful knowledge. Tks Billy, wish I could have purchased through you. Get a new manager! Obviously by the other comments Im not the only one who feels like this. Get over your self!!! Shout out to Team Gunther Daphne and Hattiesburg Kia for excellent service and complete professionalism! I never stepped foot in either of these locations and was ready to purchase. Thats selling a car!!!
They love profit... A bit too much. My ac broke down on my VW Jetta. Their quote was at 2200$ to fix it. An independant did it for 830$... Also, my VW Key dropped in the pool. Their quote: 275$. I finally just changed the battery and the Key worked fine again. I had TWO batteries for 6$ at Lowes...😤
This has been my best car buying experience....i definitely will be coming back to dean mccrary for my future vehicle needs....thanks a lot kevin!
WARNING WARNING WARNING BEWARE OF THIS DEALER VERY SHADY!!!!!!!! Must not just me look at all the 1STARS they have. WISH I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR. I Purchased a 2013 Amg and was told it had no scrapes scratches ect. Showroom condition. Pay 85K and had car delivered to another state. When I received car found scrapes under the front end took pictures and also noticed it was due for a service that was not performed before delivery. I contacted my sales rep he said no problem get the service done and get a quote to fix the scrapes and we will send you a check. So I get the oil changed and get a quote and send it to them. Was told check was in the mail over and over and over again. Finally a check came only for the oil change and in the wrong name for me to cash and get reimbursed. So I contacted them again and was told several times again that Desiree received the check back and was sending out a replacement. NOT!!!! That never happened. So my next step was to go to my credit card and dispute the amount against the deposit I placed on car. The Manager MICHAEL TOTH tried his best to stop the charge back stating that I had received my check and was not due the money. Again a total LIE!!! by this dealer. So I sent in all my info and my credit card company took the money promised to me back. Well I thought all was done with this nightmare but no comes today 2 certified letters from the court in Alabama where the dealer is now suing me for the money in small claims and I have proof they promised to pay me. Are you really serious here I have never in my life of buying high end cars a dealer so shady so many promises and so many LIES!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor go buy your car elsewhere. They are nothing but dirt bags and I will be suing them back as well. MICHAEL TOTH The Porsche Manager has done nothing but LIE LIE and LIE!!!!!! He has committed PERJURY by filing false claims to the courts and it will be addressed. Do not deal with THESE GUYS THE WILL SCREW YOU OVER and then SUE you in court. But the best part is I will SUE them Back we will see in court. I even tried reaching out to the owner of the business to try to work out the dispute as the courts encourage you to try and as I thought it would that fell on deaf ears. NO RESPONSE. SAD SAD SAD This is how you treat customers that buy 85000.00 cars from them. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR BUY YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE THERE ARE MANY DEALERS THAT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS AND DONT TREAT THEM LIKE A PIECE OF TRASH.I also tried to reach out to the owner to try to settle dispute and have gotten zero response. As I figured they dont care about the customers just the bottom line. TYPICAL CAR DEALERSHIP HOPE THEY GET MANY MORE COMPLAINTS SO THEY LOSE THERE LICENSE. Pitiful customer care. Mr. Glover I have reached out to try to settle the dispute several times and have been treated with NO replies. DEAN McCRARY JUST DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND IT SHOWS IN YOUR REVIEWS.
Verry good with ms Debbie dean mccray mobile al
After looking for the exact VW I wanted (used), I found the best price at this dealership. It is 1 hour from me, but I always take it to be serviced at D. M. because they are so friendly and thorough. I tried the local VW dealership near me in DIberville once for a fuse replacement and they told me it was something else that needed to be explored and cost $$$. D. M. confirmed it was just a fuse and replaced it free.
Called ahead to ensure the vehicle I was looking at was still there and ready. Drove an hour and a half with my twin 18 month old kids in the back seat just tp find out that the car was in maintenance due to a check engine light. I have a couple issues with this intraction. If I call ahead to make sure a vehicle is still present and you tell me it is, I expect it to be there. The used vehicles are certified pre owned by Dean mcrary. At 20k miles how are they having a check engine light issue? From the vehicles I stayed to test drive, none seemed up to par. These is a direct reflection of how this business certifies their vehicles. Buyer beware. The professionalism at this location is lacking to say the least. After lying and being unprofessional as a whole, the best the could do on price of another comparable vehicle was take 100 dollars off the sale price. This blows my mind and I have no words. My overall experience with this establishment makes me question how they are in business. On a bright note, I stumbled upon another dealership nearby that offered the same lifetime warranty, had fantastic customer service and their used vehicles were top notch. I wish I would have found them first and not wasted my time, effort, and gas money at dean mcrary.
Inez was outstanding and did an amazing job taking care of us!
I brought my VW in to service on 02/13/2015. I advised the service rep, Tim, that there were ongoing problems with my oil, that the dash hud/computer continued to display messages such as the EBS/Airbag/Engine was at fault and showed pictures I had taken of such, had advised that the windshield wiper fluid light would not go off and that there were concerns with the tire pressure sensor. I was told by Tim to just keep an eye on the oil - that there was nothing that could be done right then, that the issues that continued to display on the car dash were not a problem at all even though when displayed the vehicle became inoperable, that he would personally call me back in a week when the parts came in and I have yet to this day to hear from him. I contacted VW Group of America on 3/19 with a promise to have follow up no later than the end of the day on 3/20. The case manager assigned to the case I have still yet to talk to personally. I called today and spoke to a Julie and a Peter. Peter revealed to me that, without reason, Dean McCrary will not service my vehicle any longer. Therefore, I have to take my vehicle over 100 miles out of state to have it serviced as the dealer refuses to remedy any issue Ive brought to them. I discovered that not everything was done because the service odometer was not reset. The only communication that Ive had with Dean McCrary was from a rep asking me to score all 10s on the service I was given. Once I got that phone call, it prompted me to reply to their email feedback and then proactively seek Volkswagen Group of Americas involvement. At this point, this is the second vehicle that the service department has screwed me with. I cannot rely on the work performed and feel like I have been screwed by not only Dean McCrary, but by VWoA for not providing me any sort of option to have my concerns addressed. Not to mention -- and this is a kicker -- the loaner vehicle they gave me while I was being given service had what looked like vomit on the back seat. Dont trust these people with your repairs, service or a new car because I promise you what has happened to me CAN and WILL happen to you.
Great Sales Experience!!! We purchased our daughter the 2013 Kia Soul, and I purchased the 2014 Kia Optima for myself a few months later. I was very impressed with the warranty, features, and styling. Steve, Emmett, Peter and Todd were very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. We saved $$$$ on the purchase, and help with warranty details. A few of my referred friends bought Kias from them, and im sending more.Cons: Being a former salesperson, I was annoyed by the lack of the final Walk Around of the vehicles during the purchased process.
Drove 2hours to buy a Boxter Gts. When we got there the price was 10,000.00 more than the price on the website. Also they offered us 5,000.00 less than Kbb. on our Porsche. They said that they didnt know why they had their Gts price that low and could not sell it for that price. We left insulted. Unprofessional for a Porsche dealer.
I give it 5 thumbs up great customer service and the people there are just great!!!!!
We came from Pensacola to this dealership, to buy two new cars, due to issues with the Kia Pensacola dealerships (see reviews on their Google maps profile for an idea). We were treated very well, told the truth (we were lied to at another Kia dealership) and were able to get better financing than through our bank. We worked with Thomas L. DeSanti. Unfortunately, the car my wife wanted was sold before we got there, but Thomas found another one at another dealership and was able to procure it, but it would not arrive till after they were closed on Saturday. He meet us on Sunday (the dealership is closed Sundays) to personally deliver the car to us. This kind of service is above and beyond what would be expected from a dealership. Thomas turned a bad day of car shopping into a good day of car buying. When we are ready to buy new cars again, though this will be a long time due to the warranties being offered, we will be returning here.
I was browsing the internet and found a car that really got my attention. I browsed at other dealerships, but kept coming back to the website of Dean McCrary. I contacted the dealership via email concerning the car. I was very surprised that I got a return email pretty quick and then a phone call. I have had some credit problems in the past, but Dean McCrarys crew assured me that my drive from Birmingham to Mobile would not be in vein. I was connected with a saleman, Derek Montalvo, and he was super nice. I made an appointment with Derek for Tuesday, June 26, 2013 to purchase a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant. My family could not understand why I wanted to travel to Mobile to purchase a car, however, after showing them the prices within a 25 mile radius of home, with the same car, close to the same mileage, the cars were more expensive. I felt like this deal was meant to be, and this car was meant to be mine. I made the trip, met with Derek, and within a few short hours, was leaving for home. I was really impressed by the attention the salesman paid to me as a customer. He worked with me to help get insurance on the vehicle through my personal insurance company. Then the finance manager, was great. He picked up where Derek left off. Before meeting with the finance manager, I had agreed to one price and after talking with the finance manager for a few minutes, he was able to mash a few buttons and like magic, my payment dropped well below the agreed monthly payments. That was an estatic feeling. Even though Derek is a Porche/Audi Saleman, he treated me just like I was purchasing one of the most expensive vehicles on the lot. Everyone within the dealership was very nice. I highly recommend that anyone searching for a good vehicle at a bargain price give Dean McCrarys dealerships a try. If you cannot find a vehicle to your liking there, you really are not interested in purchasing a vehicle. The trip was well worth it, and when the time comes for my next purchase, I will return to Dean McCrary and Derek Montalvo as a repeat customer. Thank you Dean McCrary, Derek Montalvo, and the wonderful finance manager I dealt with. I am loving my 2009 Mitsubishi Galant.
BEWARE!!!!! I looked in the window to the owners office and he has monitors all over two walls watching you through all the surveillance cameras....Creepy to me....The sales manager said he did it when he was away from his ipad. Oh I should be happy that I got a bag of stale popcorn
Kevin McLaughlin, Drew Bienvenu and Chuck Hodges have been incredibly friendly, helpful and have made my buying process easy! Thanks Dean McCrary Audi.
It was an enjoyable experience purchasing our new Kia Rio. We did not feel pressured or intimidated to purchase, and the staff was very nice. I would recommend this dealership to others.
Great customer service ..
So bad! We dropped off the car for transmission problems and got it back with a broken door handle. It wasnt broken when we dropped it off b/c the front desk guy opened the door when we dropped it off!! They call the next day and say its broke and a lot of Kias are having that problem. They didnt say that BEFORE. Since it was broken when they opened the door, we thought they would fix it. WRONG! They said they could make us a deal to fix it, but it wouldnt be the right color. We only asked them to fix the transmission! Now we have a broken door handle What on earth is going on there?!
Great place with friendly personnel!
Very polite, especially Christina the receptionist.
Only the things he said about my stepson who worked there last yr very dishonest and not called for I tell everyone not to deal wilth these people dishonest
Awesome staff and amazing customer service and support
Made an appointment for 1:30 got there 10-15 minutes before appointment. An hour later our car was still sitting where WE left it. Guy by the name of Eric who we checked in with never updated us on what was going on with our car. He walked by us more than twice and had conversations with others about their cars and completely ignored us until my husband had to make a scene. Thats when the owner stepped in and apologized and offered a $15 discount. We didnt get out of there until it was time to close. WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, EVER! ALSO VERY DISORGANIZED!
IF YOU NEED TO HIDE YOUR CAR FROM THE REPO MAN TAKE IT HERE. THEY WILL PUT IT IN A CLOSED GARAGE FOR YOU.
It shows on the website that they are open until 7:00pm. I Guess not! I needed to set up an appointment for service and called at 5:00pm. Three times and was hung up on. Guess Ill take my business elsewhere.
Didnt return my call. Had to call again. Idiots didnt even know what a traverse was. Drove almost 2 hrs to look at what they said was a traverse. It wasnt even a Chevy!
