Highly recommend this business, especially if you are a young woman living in Moscow. They dont ever assume youre ignorant and try to take advantage of that, like some shops do. Ive had two great experiences with Palouse Country. First, when a tire shop improperly lifted our vehicle and damaged the differential cover, it took about 10-minutes for Palouse Country to check the damage, call the tire shop and let them know theyd be on the hook for the repair.A few weeks later when the dealer in Spokane recommended new brake pads and rotors, I thought the $1,500 they quoted me was a bit high. I asked Palouse Country if they could do it. Even though our vehicle is unusual and required special-order parts for the work, Palouse Country got the job done well for less-than half the price.

I went to them thinking my vehicle was in worse shape than it was. Turns out what I told them I thought was wrong with the vehicle actually wasnt. It turned out to be way cheaper than I thought it was going to be. Good honest technicians and business.

The office staff did not wear a mask during our indoor conversation, so they will not get my business. This is thoughtless and unprofessional during a pandemic.

My car broke down on the road. I called the store. They just wanted me tow my car to their store When I asked them if they can repair this type of car. After two days, They cannot repair my car, they told me I need to tow my car to the dealer. But I still paid 90$. I do not know why.

I recently had an experience with Chad and the crew I wanted to share as I found it to be a great example of honest work. My Toyota Tundra had several dash lights flashing that indicated an issue with a wheel sensor. I brought it to Palouse Country Auto Care and described the issue to Chad. He examined the wheel sensors, found them covered with gunk, cleaned the sensors, and took the truck for a test drive. All lights on the dash are off and the truck runs great. He could have easily told me that I needed new sensors and wire harness and charged me $500. I appreciate the honest work that solved the issue for less than $100 when any other shop could have easily sold me a $500 repair.

Chad has repaired two cars for me now. He is a good diagnostician; better than any others Ive found in the Pullman-Moscow area (*including dealerships). I heartily recommend him and his shop.

I had a concern with my engine. They were super swamped and due to family situations, I needed the car running. I took my car down to Chad and he checked it out in the parking lot for me. He took a listen and was super kind and professional. He then assured me the problem I thought I was having was actually something else which was quite normal for Subarus. I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing. You dont get that from many shops these days.. A lot of places will charge you 50 bucks just for looking at your car for 5 minutes. Great place! I am not sure if Chad is the owner, if he isnt I hope the owner knows Chad does a really good job with customer service. I will definitely be back at this place with any issues I may have.

I cancelled my appointment, but ended up being able to make it and they still got me in right away. The technician let me watch and answered all of my questions. I ended up just having a small leak. They did not try to sell me anything extra and did not charge me for the visit. Mechanics that are honest enough to say you dont need any work done are hard to find. They also use plastic liners in the car to ensure they dont get grease anywhere. I would highly recommend Palouse Country Transmission!

Dont go here for an oil change. They have way too high of a billing rate for this type of work.Additionally they over tightened the oil filter. I had to stab a screw driver through the filter and still barely got it off.So they changed me over 100$ for the oil change and they did it wrong.I imagine they do other things fine though.... And Im sure its an easy mistake to make.

I was able to drop my vehicle off on the weekend, using their key drop, safely and securely. They gave me an itemized list and no funny business when I asked what the minimum fix would be to get the car running again. They fixed my clutch within a week of a very busy schedule for them and I couldnt be happier with the results.

Great place.... My FJ cruiser is a happy camper too.

I saw Judes excellent review of Palouse Country Auto Care. I highly respect Jude and thought that I would give PCAC a try. They were awesome. I was out of town and my wifes car left her stranded. We had it towed to Palouse Country Auto Care and they were able to diagnose the problem immediately and get her back on the road for a very reasonable price. I will go there again.Rich

This is the only place I will ever take my car to get worked on. They check the car and call to make sure you are aware of everything wrong with it. They dont pressure you to do anything you dont want to and the lady at the front is so nice!Also I would call asking for quotes on things and they get back to me either right away or within an hour.

Dont go here. They told me they can not repair my car. I need taking my car to a dealer. But I need to pay almost $100. They can not repair my car but I need to pay almost $100. This is so ridiculous.

Fantastic, friendly, honest, helpful people!I took my car in after getting my oil changed at Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube said my transmission had an excessive leak... Palouse Country Transmission got my car up on the life right away and actually showed me how there was NO leak of any kind what so ever.

The best mecanics in town

I was referred to Chad at Palouse Country by a Les Schwab mechanic. He said they did not have a code reader, but to go across the street and ask Chad at Palouse Country to read the Check Engine light codes. Chad was busy, they were about to close, but they squeezed me in, checked the codes, and sent me happily on my way, with no charge. I believe Ill be back, next time I need work.
