This was my first time visiting this coffee shop, I just moved to the area and I had walked by a few time and the pastries always caught my eye. So I decided to give it a try today, I went in to order a coffee and something sweet, as I was ordering I learned this place was vegan! Everything tasted amazing 🤩 I love the cup designs.

Weve been coming to Timeless for years. We adore their croissants, honestly the best Ive ever had, their thumb print cookies never miss. We get the kid seasonal treats here for the holidays & shes always ecstatic to receive them. The coffee is also excellent, we have a subscription.

I visit often and there is so much to love. I would start with any savory pastry or special menu item, like a breakfast sandwich or burrito. The cream cheese danishes are great too. I always grab a snickerdoodle cookie for later although later is usually not long after leaving.

I came here this afternoon about an hour before closing. I ordered a latte and my friend ordered a savory item to go. The latte was no-frill but strong and yummy. One door allows entry and another door allows pick-up after your name is called. Customers can wait outside. There is also hand sanitizer by the register. Staff were friendly.

The pumpkin cheesecake was amazing, light and tasty, coffee, strong and hot, very good

Come for the coffee, stay for the abuse. I really want to support this local business, but the staff is consistently rude. That is, unless you fit their desired aesthetic. Mediocre coffee and pretentious environment. Bought from Bicycle coffee instead.

I cannot believe this is all vegan!!

I stopped in for a latte. So many goodies in the glass case. I asked if they had anything eggless and he looked at me with a duhhhh expression. I had no idea EVERYTHING was vegan. I had a blast ordering a bunch of items to go for my family to try. Loved the donuts—-chewy just like I like them! (Vegan donuts tend to be more cake like and dry.). Also tried a few savory items. Everything was pretty good. Thanks to the owner(s) for giving vegetarians a cool spot to enjoy!

I gotta give them more than five stars if I could because the staves were super amazing and friendly. I went to this place to kill the time because I was bored. I ordered a 3-shot of espresso and cinnamon roll, which I love the most. I love how calm the ambiance of this place. I cant wait to visit this coffee shop again.

❤️Wonderful vegan cinnamon rolls and the sandwich too(I’ll admit that $8 is a ridiculous price for a sandwich, but it’s amazing). I brought my non-vegan wife and she enjoyed an almond crossant too. Non-vegans will like it equally. I’m sorry folks but ya’ll are really privileged to live near such a wonderful cafe. My eyes bleed when I realize that when my vacation ends I shall return to a wasteland of non-vegan cuisine.😢

Great vegan breakfast with good service.Many vegetarian and vegan varieties for a quick bite.The place is small and crowded a bit. Seems like that is a norm.Prices are expensive but expected for Berkeley standards.

Vegan Pizza Rolls!!! The ham and cheese croissants are noteworthy, too. Sooo many vegan options. Order ahead of time to help make sure they have what you want, and dont run out (Ive ordered a week in advance, even). Added bonus: Any cafe with a scorpion logo is neat in my book.

Easily one of the best vegan places in the bay. Has great coffee and the best cakes. People who are not vegan are floored by their vegan birthday cake and cheesecake.

Coffee was good but SUPER SMALL. The scone and doughnuts are delightful. Definitely come for the baked goods but get a coffee elsewhere.

Cannot speak to the coffee, but can to the baked goods. These are some of the best vegan baked goods Ive ever had - a true gem in Oakland! Have really enjoyed everything Ive had here but really gotta hand it to the tiramisu and pizza rolls - you and your taste buds will not regret coming here!

Delicious coffee (and Im picky), great relaxed vibe, and all kinds of delicious pastries and food. Kind of like the fancier hipstery coffee shops, but with a much cozier, friendlier feel. Definitely coming again.

Everyone is incredibly rude and unfriendly there. They have never said hello. They forget to put all the items and youll find this out only at home. They come up with ridiculous rules and will be very aggressive to anyone who doesnt follow their weird logic. They will never try to please their customer. Too bad they dont have fair competition.

Timeless is the best coffee in the bay. Full stop. You should come here and get coffee. While youre at it get a pastry or a vegan donut cause theyre also really freaking good. Im not even vegan like that. One of the few places in my life where no matter how long the line, Im standing in it.I used to travel miles for Timeless to a point where we just decided to move closer to it. I mean... Its not the only reason we moved to Oakland but it definitely was a reason.

Nicole is a very sweet girl. She made my hair so stunning. She always listens to me exactly what I want and I am super happy and satisfied with my hair. She entertains me throughout the whole service and never hesitates to answer all my questions to my full satisfaction. Excellent vegan pastry shop and restaurant. They have vegan donuts, pies, cakes, and savory dishes like shepherds pie and more. They also have gluten free options if thats your jam. I had a mini pumpkin pie today that was so creamy and delicious!

Vegan coffee? Is it really necessary to make a statement about coffee?

I only know them from after Corona times, Inwish I had been here earlier. Nevertheless, their coffee is great and they are very careful with 6ft measures. Loved their alMond croissant. Their opening times are shorter than before Covid.

Definitely a top 3 coffee places in Oakland. Im glad to see they are opening another one on 17th and Franklin.

Vegan desserts and entrees are delicious and creative. They dont try to make the food taste non-vegan, they simply make tasty vegan dishes, period.

Ive only come here twice and both times only to get the same thing: the gluten-free Carrot Walnut Tea Cake. I was amazed to find that EVERYTHING here is vegan (they dont advertise that really), though they only have a couple of items that are gluten-free (aside from their chocolates). The first time I came, they only had the tea cake and were out of everything else gluten-free, and the second time I came, there was a gluten-free quiche but I wasnt hungry enough for a whole quiche, so I got the tea cake again.The tea cake is delicious and you wouldnt really know it was vegan and gluten-free unless someone told you (at least, I dont think so). Great texture and not at all dry or crumbly. Speedy checkout and there are a fair number of tables to sit at, but most of them were occupied when I was there both times.I will have to try their coffee at some point next time Im back in the Bay Area.

Vegan bakery and cafe. Great everyday items like pizza rolls, broccoli quiche, bear claws, and cheesecake. Rotation f breakfast foods and weekend brunch. Its all good. All of it.

Evrything is vegan and delicious. Highly recommend the chocolate croissants, which are only available on sundays, or the pesto cheese roll. Thier breads have great texture but thier chocolates could have better taste for the price. Thier raised donuts have the best texture out of any vegan donuts in or near Oakland.

Good vegan pastries, cheese/pizza rolls, coffee, etc... plus they can make personalized birthday cake within 2 days, and they come out moist and delicious. Everyone else takes weeks!

Very unfriendly female associate. My husband and I were Covid compliant with our masks and after ordering were told to wait outside. Yet a couple behind us, clearly regulars, were allowed to remain inside. Drinks were ok. Do not recommend patronizing due to the unfriendly young woman.

Top-notch Coffee and food: came here based off the reviews and was not disappointed. The timeless coffee is a must-have, I prefer mine black and it was just as good (for my taste!). The pastries were fantastic - had a chocolate chip cookie and 1 Pizza Roll and 1 Pesto Roll, both delicious!Great place to sit and listen to music, read outside on a sunny day or just relax after strolling around.

Awesome place in oakland, guys try the pour over coffee and cheesecakes there.Savory items are good as well.There is always a queue there, so plan ahead.

Absolutely love it here. We had the Twinkie, cocoa, cappuccino, and a pour over Ethiopian. All were delicious, made with intention and presented in a lovely way. The atmosphere is great for hanging out, doing work, chatting... We saw a huge table with a few families gathering and several people alone on laptops, people reading and people getting coffee to go. If we lived in the area, wed definitely pick this as a regular spot. Also, if youre not sure about a dairy-less latte, or cappuccino, Id recommend trying your drink with Oat Milk. It checks all the creamy, frothy and delicious boxes for me at least. In my opinion, its much more full and creamy than soy or almond milk. At any rate, I highly recommend!

The best vegan bakery in San Francisco is not in San Francisco. This Oakland gem (and small Berkeley location) is worth venturing to the East Bay. Plenty of cakes by the slice, donuts, and chocolates to pick from plus a small selection of savory stuff like pizza pockets, and tater tot frittata. Get there early if you want to enjoy a breakfast burrito on a Saturday. Small brunch menu is served on Sundays only until they sell out.

Best place for vegan chocolate (recommend the peppermint patties) and great pastries. Also great coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Best vegan coffee place ever!

I havent had a lot of vegetarian or vegan coffee and dessert; however, this place was really great and introduced me to the wonders of oat milk in my latte. Its definitely worth checking out and I will be coming back 🙂

Huge selection of vegan stuff! Good coffee, great atmosphere. One of my favourite spots in Oakland to meet with friends or grab dessert.

I needed to order a vegan birthday cake, and came across Timeless after some research. I drove down from San Jose just to pick up the cake from Timeless, and it was absolutely worth the hassle. The chocolate peanut butter cake was decadent and delicious, and better than most non vegan cakes Ive had. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

5 stars for both their food and their coffee. I went to Colombia last year, and they have the best single origin Colombian coffee Ive tried since returning. The food is all vegan and amazingly delicious-- the cinnamon bun was incredible in particular. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the coffee. The prices are what youd expect for a nice coffee shop in this area. Great place to stop in for a coffee and pastry before or after a walk in the cemetery!

Gorgeous coffeeshop close to St Leo the Great on Piedmont Ave. No animal products so you need to swap for soy, oat or almond milk. Wish they offered paper instead of plastic for ice drinks.

Love their vegan pies but they should put a more pleasant person on the cashier who is very knowledgeable about vegan pastries and can give good recommendations instead of abusiness as usual up “hurry up and make up your mind person.”

Best coffee I have found so far in Oakland. During shelter at home they are closed Mondays, and open for pick up orders Tues - Sun 8am - 3pm. Worth the premium for the great coffee.

One of my favorite things about my weekends is grabbing a slice of peanut butter cake and a coffee and sitting in the sun at Timeless. They have other sweet and savory baked goods too. When Im in a rush Ill grab a pesto roll or a potato and sausage empanada... Im getting hungry just writing this review! I love the vibe, I love that everything is vegan, and everyone that works there have been nothing but lovely.

I went to this coffee shop yesterday to study and finish what I need to do, and they have this separate space for the students. I ordered the matcha green tea latte for the first time, and it was the best coffee Ive ever had so far. The staff was very accommodating, and they always make you feel welcome!

The food is decent, I wish they had warmed up my cinnamon roll for longer than 2 seconds and the coffee is fairly tasty.The real issue was the barista. Dude acted like he was too cool to take our order completely, and wouldnt you know it we were served hot drinks when we ordered ice.Maybe pick someone who isnt so cool to take orders and interact with the public because we will not be back.

Gosh, where to start... Do you see the line? Do you see the parking? Thats because this place is WORTH. IT.The tiramisu cake is to die for. The donuts are surprisingly fruity and delicious. I was broken-hearted when the cream cheese breakfast roll was discontinued, and elated when they brought it back. The latte is fantastic. I like their Sunday brunch but rarely order it due to how much I love the regular pastries etc.Cant find a table? Take it to go and walk to Mountain View cemetery for beautiful views and a contemplative time. Even when its busy, you just cant go wrong.

One of the best and as far as I know the only fully vegan bakery, dessert place in the bay area. When I have the chance to come by, I just stock up on my favorite ones (scones, thumbprint cookie, apple walnut cake, danish, and so much more). They also have a select but tasty brunch menu. Be sure to try their hot chocolate or mocha with oat milk. Yum!Tip: The area does get crowded, but usually there is parking available in nearby adjacent residential streets. I would also recommend getting to go as the place does get crowded.

Update: You cant beat the product here, but no one is s repeat customer due to their service. Maybe its their thing to not be friendly or helpful (which is a thing believe it or not! Google Shopsins in NYC) - but these folks barely crack a smile, are not open to any helpful feedback from their diehard customers, and have made it a passtime to yell at customers for walking in to their front door during COVID when all they need to do is put up a sign staying their rules at the front door. If the food werent as amazing as it is, I would (along with others) gladly bring my business elsewhere.I think its great that they dont advertise themselves as vegan... because everything just tastes so amazingly good! Once you find out of all dairy free (Im lactose intolerant) this place will become your go to dessert spot for life!
