Ironically, the Customer Service Manager didn’t seem very happy serving customers. Long sighs, hand gestures towards me instead of words, and overall feeling that he didn’t care about being here. Couldn’t even be bothered to respond to my “Have a nice day.” Most of my experiences here are pretty neutral but this time makes me feel like I should look elsewhere for auto parts

Called prior to coming in tonight to make sure I could bring back my unused ice scraper without the receipt since I couldnt find it. I was told that as long as it was unused, they could work with me. The guy I spoke to on the phone was still on the phone when I got in, I recognized his voice. One of the other two helped me after a few minutes, asked for a receipt. I said I didnt have it, and that Id called prior to driving out with assurances that I could still return it. He said without a receipt he wouldnt take it back, and claimed he knew for a fact that they didnt sell that scraper in his store. I contested his claim, and advised him that he might check first. While he looked on his computer, I dug around my phone, hoping Id had the receipt sent to my email. Luckily I did. I knew it was the right store because I purchased two extension cords with the ice scraper just a few days ago, all on the same receipt. The cashier I worked with was less than friendly, and the guy on the phone didnt even look up from his phone call to help out by telling the cashier hed told me to bring it in. Glad Im not local. My experience Tuesday morning during the initial purchase was a good one, the gentleman was helpful and tried to help me find some diesel 911, so he earned them a couple stars back.

Tiffany was phenomenal! I had to run in during lunch to have my battery checked and she checked the alternator (was good) and the battery (bad) and got a new battery switched out in minimal time. She was also very friendly and helpful throughout the process, even though it was darn cold outside! I was able to get back to work without going over my allotted lunch period. Kudos again to her and to the store in general!

Most terrible experience. I bought 2 bottles of chevron with techron. It had the lid opened. It poured out on to the carpet of my car. Its on my leather seat, my clothes, my hands. I cant get the smell out. Its a greasy mess.

I usually like AutoZone. Theyre usually so helpful but I just walked out because the guy at the counter was so incredibly rude. Didnt act like he wanted to help me and was short with me. I wasnt about to give them my money.My response to the owner....Thats ok. Advance Auto Parts was right down the road and helped me just fine. Ill just stick with them.

Not impressed. Had a check engine light on my 2007 Corolla. Dropped by here on 10/20/20 around 5:30pm to have it read. Clerk told me he couldn’t go out to read my car, so he gave me the reader to go out.Came back in with the machine. He read it and told me it was a P0171 code and that would be like $1000 for a new computer in my car. I told him I had that error before on that car and that I fixed it usually by cleaning the mass air flow sensor. He said nope, only thing it could be is the computer and it’s expensive. I asked him to look up the part. It’s $250-$330 dollars. Definitely not $1000. I asked him about installing it, he just shrugged and said it’s a computer and went to courting metal hangers and brushed me off.I went out to the car and started researching it. Turns out it’s a common issue with this year of car. Cleaning the air flow sensor usually fixes it. Replacing the intake manifold gasket is the next step. Replacing the computer is last resort. Tons of other cheaper solutions.Clearly they are out to make a dollar off their customers and know little about cars. I won’t be coming back.

Use to go quite often. Tell my 5 year account suddenly disappeared. Spent almost $200. With my account would of saved over $25. Do not think it was just a mistake. I spent about $40 early that day and my account number worked fine.

I went to Auto Zone today with a bad battery in my car. Their price was better than the Olathe Advance & O’Reilly’s by $20. They tested the battery, confirmed it was bad, then changed it out for me. Great customer service - thanks guys!

Extremely huge thank you goes out to Jeremy, I believe the manager. He was so very helpful with a battery situation I was having on a very, very hard day. He doesn’t know it but I was struggling to hold in tears, not because of battery . He didn’t hesitate to take a look and offer some suggestions of how to best help me out. He got some tools together and quickly got things up and running. I am so great full Nd I hope he knows how much his kindness touched my heart.

Went there for fuses. Help was friendly but not all that helpful. Then when I went to check out the two guys behind the counter were too busy talking about how the cash trays werent removed the night before and how the opening was messed up to check me out. Finally the guy took my items and didnt hear my question about returns. I asked did you hear my question? and he said no. Had to ask again. Anyway, its the kind of service youd expect at an auto parts store.

I went in needing help with my blinker. One of the store managers came outside and got a tool kit to help remove my back light. He told me which light I needed to fix. I already had the bulb I needed so I didn’t end up having to purchase anything, but he didn’t charge me anything to help me fix my blinker. He was super helpful and had wonderful customer service. I will definitely be going back to this store for any car needs.

Extremely professional and polite staff, I stopped here to get my check engine light read. Less than 2 minutes and they printed off the description for me along with the price for the bad component. I did not feel pressure (at all) to buy the part from them, although I will because their service was truly professional.

Needed bulb replacements for my headlight and blinker after coming from OReilly and being shrugged off and told he couldnt do it nor made any effort to assist me in replacing them. I called and came here where I was welcomed and valued as a customer. Not only did I get both bulbs installed. As a customer I mattered. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. The staff were completely dumbfounded when I asked for a non-damaged line output converter as the only one on the shelf was broken. They refused to look in the back for another one, and I could hear at least 3 staff laughing and jacking around in the back room instead of doing anything. I walked out without buying the damaged item, and I will never come back to this store again. Severely disappointed.

I’m not one to review many businesses but my experience here warranted a review.Two employees working. One didn’t know how to test a battery. After waiting for the other employee to help me, he could not provide conclusive information about my battery. He said it had zero charge despite the fact that it was able to start my vehicle. I decided to purchase a battery he then informed me that it would take him 45 minutes and he didn’t have time because the store was busy (1 other customer in the store) I then went outside and changed my own battery (took 10 minutes) in order to get the $18 back for my old battery.Both employees were quite rude the entire time and were talking poorly about customers.I expect more Autozone.

The ataff at this location wasnt what I had expected based on my previous experiences at other locations throughout Kansas City. They werent rude, but definitely not friendly or inviting. I was there late Friday afternoon and it was packed. After searching for 10 minutes without anyone asking if i needed help, I decided to leave and take my chances online. Everybody has bad days so Ill give them another shot next time Im in need of an auto part☺

I accidentally ordered two right calipers online for my car instead if one right and one left. I called up to this location and was informed I could swap one of the right calipers out for a left since they had one in stock, and so was told that the swap could be done through the warranty on the parts.Upon arriving at the store and speaking to the gentleman I had spoken to on the phone I was told that they couldnt swap the parts out, that I had to return the old part and then separately purchase the new one. Since the return credit take a 3-5 business days Im without functioning brakes on my.car for anothers 3-5 days.I understand this is largely my fault but it sucks that I was told one thing and then had to do a different thing.

I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. Took a bad battery here that was under warranty. It read 11.7 said charge and recheck SO THEY SAY. wanted me to wait a hour for the battery to charge and get it rechecked. I told them Ive replaced my altornator 3 days ago & Ive gotten 6 jumps in the past 2 days and left the battery on the charger for 45min myself the day before and still was dead. I took the battery to 3 other parts stores and they said the battery was bad also. Called a different auto zone and explained all this to them and they simply told me to bring it in and they would warranty it out without me waiting a hour. I would NEVER come here again.

Today was a major turn around in AUTO-Vibe period. People are all Human and we all make mistakes, as do our vehicles when we wrongly prioritize their importance. It is nice to have a knowledgable staff there to help as well as understandings that frustrations tend to overlap, although not meant to become a bigger issue exponentially. So, I was given the wrong bulb but it was made right. My life will continue on and hopefully the SUV dies before myself and or the manager helping last few days. Yes, read correctly, Ive had issues w being given wrong part from a similar place but a Zone and the guy was carrying my weight also, this was extremely heavy as I do have PTSD and can tend to get overheated while overheating others, all whilst slaving over an overheated truck issue and 1 big WOW...I must commend the folk there, they were able to patiently and professionally work through the multiplayer problematic situation with little to NO permanent heartache. The manager has known of me from another store and a prior issue, equally as frustrating but we PLOWED ahead and put humpty back together again. Id like to thank the regional district Manager, Anthony Soto, as well as the Store mgt Rich. Somehow sometimes 3 consecutive walkers trip over the same hole and as long as they can help one another up and move on down the path successfully, I can be reminded of true Humanity and how helping another up matters any which way its looked at. Id recommend the store bc any manager able to handle me during breakdown crisis and also not exacerbate things, Rich receives a high five from me man. Wow, how man can make a mountain out of a molehill unwittingly. Most important is the humility required to work through it and know life will go on. Thank you for your kindness today sir. I went in to get stop leak and the instant liquid headgasket fix after midas quoted me 2300 to fix my headgasket. When i got to autozone, Eduardo looked at my engine and told me there is no leak and that it was my thermostat which is a much cheaper, easier fix (around 150). He saved my wallet, my car, and my trip! If I didnt speak to him, one of those things wouldve been sacrificed! Thanks Eduardo, youre the best!
