My husband purchased us a king mattress from Mattress Firm online. They asked him a few questions about how we sleep. After that they recommended a certain mattress for us. Well we have slept on it for 63 days, and do NOT like it. It is way too soft, very uncomfortable, and the mattress itself is way to thick.Today I went to the Paramus Store and Robert very patiently listened to our problems. He also asked how we slept. And recommended a totally different mattress then the one recommended online.We will be exchanging our mattress for the one Robert suggested for us.He even gave me a lesson on how to use the adjustable frame.He is very patient, very knowledgeable, and very fair.We cant wait to get our new mattress. Such a wonderful experience. We tried buying a bed online and showed up at Mattress Firm after learning our lesson. Luis was AMAZING. We ended up buying the first bed he picked for us after trying 12 others over 4 different stores - that man has a gift. There were all sorts of issues getting the actual bed from production to warehouse to our house, and Luis consistently reached out to keep us updated, looked for solutions, and apologized for problems that werent his fault. And whenever we called and Luis was off for the day, his colleagues were able to pick things up and keep us informed. Go there!

Ariel was the best! She greeted my husband and me very warmly at the door and was very pleasant throughout. She listened to what we individually wanted and helped us choose the right mattress. She didn’t hover over us and gave us time to discuss in private each bed before we moved on to the next. She wasn’t pushy to finalize a sale and even offered us a deal on the pillow my husband loved. We decided to shop around before making a decision, but ended up going back to Ariel the same day and purchased our mattress, head and feet base and pillows. I was very pleased with the service at The Mattress Firm store in Paramus Route 17. Robert Gimbel was the sales person who worked with us, although his colleagues also helped answer some questions about things like the weight of the mattress Etc. We came to the store from New York City and were not familiar with the area. From the front of the store on Route 17, it appeared that the store might have been closed or under construction, but we followed the Google Maps directions and went around the back through a parking lot until we reached parking in back of the store. Im so glad we didnt get discouraged by the construction in front. Robert Gimbels expertise helped us make a decision about a mattress that we had been thinking about for months. We initially wanted a lower profile mattress, but decided upon a Purple 2 Hybrid. The hybrid is a nice compromise between the comfort benefits of the purple grid (a little like memory foam) and the responsiveness that you get from having innersprings (the responsiveness part seems to be important for a couples bedroom experience). The bed was delivered a few days after the purchase. It came rolled up and the delivery people helped my boyfriend strap it to a hand truck and bring it upstairs. It weighed about 146 lb and he really did not need their help but they were nice enough to help anyway. At this point we have been sleeping on this bed for several weeks now and were enjoying it a lot. Finally, Robert Gimbel allowed us to take advantage of the Memorial Day sale although we bought the bed a couple of weeks before their sale started. All I had to do was contact him the day the sale started and he was willing to do the price adjustment.

Very good shopping experience. The Mattress Firm store on Route 17 in Paramus NJ had the mattress I wanted to try and ultimately bought, and it was actually a no-pressure sales experience.
