Our sales person, Nicole, was excellent. She was very patient and answered ALL of our questions. There were many great pieces to choose from. What’s best is that we will get our sofa bed within 5 days. Our experience was great and we totally recommend this store. One more thing, we were greeted immediately as we entered the store and not hounded as we browse around the showroom.
Specifically writing this review to give kudos to our sales person Kurt who was extremely helpful and did everything he could to help us find the perfect sofa and loveseat. Unfortunately, due to the estimated delivery time of 15-20 weeks we couldn’t wait that long and had to walk away from the sale. Hopefully delivery times improve at some point.
Bought a sofa a few months ago. It was a lot of money, but the salesman said I was paying more because it’s made in America and it’s very well made. So I went for it. The sofa was about a month late, which was fine, but every time I called the store, no one could figure out how to get an update (it would take 24 to 48 hours for someone to figure out where my couch was). That was frustrating. Finally it arrives and my well built couch is broken! It’s been a few months and Jennifer still won’t say if they will fix it or not (someone was sent out to inspect a few months ago and it’s definitely broken). So frustrating, never buying from them again. Be warned, they will not stand by their product!

I was very happy with the service I received from both Nicole and Kurt from the Paramus Jennifer Furniture store. I bought a sectional couch from Kurt who was so helpful and knowledgeable about the kind of sectional I was looking to purchase. He made the purchase easy which I really appreciated. Because of Covid, I had to wait 5 months to receive the sectional. I had a little bit of an issue with the delivery but when I went to the store to talk to Nicole, she couldnt have been more helpful to me. She was able to solve the problem quickly and professionally. I really appreciated her sense of urgency with my issue. I love my sectional!
Nicole was great. Not pushy. There to answer questions as needed. Not hovering over you. That’s what I enjoy.
Horrible experience. The in-store sales folks are kind. The companys customer service is deplorable. No- one answers the phone, you are forced to leave a message and no-one calls back. Trying to get a status on an order is more difficult than putting a person on Mars. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, DONT LET THE BRAND NAME FOOL YOU. THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY WERE YEARS AGO.

Ordered two accent chairs last night. Erya was extremely helpful and patient with all my requirements! She helped me find the chairs that met my measurements and looked through numerous books of fabrics to help me find a match for my green couch which was not easy! This was my second time back looking at chairs. Erya remembered me even though it has been a few weeks since my initial visit. Thank you for working with me to find the perfect chairs for my space!
I don’t recommend this place. At the beginning they are very nice and after you purchase what you need they just don’t care about what you purchase. I wish I could read the bad reviews before and I wish I can cancel what I bought. They told me my furniture will be delivered between 15 weeks you will think that it is long time but you have faith that maybe in 4-6 weeks you will have what you bought. I when there 2 times to have updates about the purchase and they show that they don’t care. They told me they will call me and I am still waiting for that call. I called many times and they never answer the phone. I feel bad about the decision I took buying in this place.

My first experience at Jennifer’s was at the now closed Middle Village location in Queens, NY and it was AWFUL. However, my husband and I decided to drive over to this location after purchasing our first home in NJ. Our sales associate was Christine and she’s truly one of a kind and has restored our faith in the company. She was absolutely delightful, extremely knowledgeable and spent HOURS with us selecting custom fabric for our new sofa. I cannot stress enough how great the service was and highly recommend working with Christine and we will be back for future pieces.

Aweful business. Purchased a sectional sofa back in November 2020. They told me because of the pandemic, shipping times are delayed and would take 8-12 weeks. That seemed pretty standard from what I heard shopping around at other businesses.Called in mid January to check on my order after hearing nothing from them at all. Gave my order number and they said it would ship at the end of February. End of February was at the tail end of 12 weeks, maybe 13, so things seemed on track.Now in mid February, I still hadn’t received a call or email. Before I called back, I started reading reviews on Google and heard horror stories of multiple delays, lack of communication, and lies from this business about shipping times. One customer even threatened a call to the Better Business Bureau. Couldn’t be that bad, right? Wrong!I called and when I gave my order number now they are saying my item may ship the first week of April, no guarantees. I was irate. The lady apologized and said it was because of the pandemic (excuse #1). I pointed out that I was given a pandemic time frame of 8-12 weeks. She said I shouldn’t have been quoted that “early of a shipment.” I pointed out that multiple reviews on google mention this problem of lying about shipping times. She said that was under old management / a different company (excuse #2). I pointed out that it seems the new management/company is committing the same sins as the last one and asked for a manager. After waiting 10 minutes, she came back on and said the manager was “on the floor with a customer.” I accepted a call-back option but I doubted it would happen.Luckily the manager, Ira, called back and was kind and apologetic. She offered to give me the protection plan at no cost. By this time I had cooled down and I made the suggestion that they actually communicate via email/text with their customers about updated shipping time frames to be proactive. Also suggested that they document the estimated shipping date stated at purchase (since they didn’t believe I had been quoted 8-12 weeks). She said most receipts do have estimated shipping dates and she’s not sure why mine didn’t.To be clear, I would give 1 star if it wasn’t for Ira offering me the protection plan at no cost (what she said was a $400 value).
I had the pleasure of working with Mr Glenn at the Paramus store in New Jersey. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was looking for specific pieces which he was able to explain in detail. He was not pushy and annoying like some salespeople - again, a joy to work with. I will be back and look for him for my next purchase. I have already recommended him to friends who are also in the market for furniture.
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Glenn at the Paramus Store in New Jersey. He was extremely professional Nice funny and he also took the stress off of shopping. I wanted a bed set for my kids which he explained in detail the price and the quality of the different bed sets they have at that location. If you top at that location be sure to ask for Mr. Glenn.

FINAL UPDATE: We pushed the store for a timeline and were told the couch would be shipped (not even delivered) about 4 months from the time of our order, at the end of October, and we finally canceled the order through headquarters. This store lied to us over and over again about the timeline and has zero accountability. Would not recommend.UPDATE: Its now almost 2 months and we still havent gotten our order.I cant speak to the product quality because we have yet to receive the couch we ordered. We ordered a couch on June 27. It is now August 8 with no couch in sight. About two weeks ago we called, and Sean told us that it will be another month or so. This apparently has been an on-going problem with all furniture deliveries recently, as suppliers have a massive backlog. We dont have a problem with Jennifer Furniture if this is outside of the stores control. However, we were told the couch would come in 2-3 weeks. The fact that this was misrepresented to us is completely unacceptable. We almost threw out our old couch when we moved based on the timeline promised to us. Second, we may have considered our other options if we were told the couch delivery would be massively delayed. I do not believe that Sean was not aware of on-going delays when he told us 2-3 weeks. Our impression is that he wanted a sale, and this impression seems in line with the negative reviews received by the store. We are very disappointed. At this point, we are going to spent a good couple of months at our new place without the couch we specifically ordered because we were moving.
Unfortunately Ive had the recent experience that many other reviews had. Initially had a great in person exchange with the manager, Shawn. My wife and I wanted a sleeper sofa that we saw online, and although his store did not carry it, we ordered through him to give him the business. This was at the end of July, and was told it would be delivered anywhere from 4-8 weeks. Well, towards the end of 8 weeks, I placed a call to the store, as I had yet to hear anything. Was told that our couch would not be delivered until (HOPEFULLY) the end of October, a full THREE MONTHS after we ordered the couch. Ive been trying to reach corporate, but unfortunately the phone line has been busy. Will keep trying, as we will request full refund if delivery time does not change.UPDATE:. 9/25/20. STILL NO COUCH. In fact, was told our couch had been sitting in manufacturer warehouse, but they didnt have a contact number for me because Paramus never gave them one. This is after I personally called headquarters to get them number of the warehouse to find out where my couch is. Then, because it is a special delivery, its being delivered to a second delivery company. Unfortunately, because no one from this store communicates, the two delivery companies are calling ME to organize the drop off of a couch thats not even coming to my house yet!!! Im currently trying to get a couch to a long island warehouse to then get delivered to my house in Jersey, with ZERO follow up from this store (other than to ask me to remove my review).

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Jennifer Furniture in Paramus. The salesman was very helpful, friendly and professional....and no pressure. I had tried other stores but returned to Jennifers to purchase my sleeper sofa.
Deplorable customer service. Do not shop here. Store leaves the phone off the hook, when they do answer they are inept. Manager and assistant manager can not resolve any issues and promises customer service will call us. We have been waiting for days. Manager refused to give us customer service number stating there is no number yet her next statement was that she will call them to make sure they call us. Ordered a couch august 6th, given a delivery of 4 weeks, still have no couch and want to charge us to cancel it. If i could give them 0 stars i would. When we purchased the couch the store was under different management. If i met this staff I never would have purchased anything here.

This store has a nice selection of furniture and excellent customer service. I was helped by a sales associate Glenn, who knows a lot about the furniture and helped narrow down what sectional couches I liked and would fit good in my living room.
Terrible experience with this company and location. I do not recommend and if I could give no stars, i would. Understanding COVID delays, our couches were ordered July 2nd and we still hadn’t received our furniture. Completely unprofessional that we continuously had to call for updates. We switched the model as we were told the manufacturer had better lead times. They had our couch in stock and it was supposed be delivered. We never received the call. After calling three times, we were told they lost a piece of the sectional and the order would be cancelled and reprocessed. Meaning, another two months. We asked to cancel the order and they agreed to no cancellation fee. Two weeks later, no refund. We called again and spoke to a manager who reassured us our order was cancelled. Called a third time a month later and we still didn’t receive a refund. We finally got a hold of the worker who processes refunds and they were told they never received the notice to cancel this order. After TWO months of requesting, we finally received the notice our order was cancelled. Much better off going to a bigger retailer with a better customer service team. Ordered two new couches from two different retailers and had a much better experience.

My only hope in writing this review is that it deters just one person from ordering a couch from Jennifer Furniture.Ordered a couch on Aug 24 with a delivery date of 6-8 weeks. At 8 weeks was told it would be another 3-4 weeks. After those 3-4 weeks was told first week of december. After first week of december was told mid december. It ships to NJ warehouse Dec 21 and we had, according to the head of customer service, a 98% chance of getting the couch before christmas. Today we are now being told they cannot find the couch in the warehouse.Tomorrow is 5 months to the day we ordered our couch and they still dont have a delivery date for us. Only restitution offered has been $300 store credit...we paid $2800 in cash up front when we purchased this couch.We were also sold the couch by Shawn and Christine, who were great to us when selling but the reality is they knew the couch would be delayed by longer than 8 weeks and lied to us. They are no longer there. The staff that has replaced them have been great to talk to, very apologetic and affable.Fred, the head of customer service, has promised to call me on multiple occasions, but does not call when the time comes and i have to call him multiple times a day to get in touch with him.5 months, and still no couch or updates. if its not in our apartment by January 1, 2021 i will be asking for a full refund and going elsewhere. Ive never been treated this poorly in my life.Hope this helps.

There quality of furniture is great and good quality. there staff was wonderful to deal with and helpful. they respect veterans with a additional discount which was very kind. also there Guards men warranty was amazing we had a problem with the couch we bought after a little over a year. They gave a few opposition after inspection and we decided to replace it and they did, they went has far as to order us a new one It was worth the $199.00 for the extended warranty our couch cost $1700. the only reason i gave it 4 stars was there delivery was a little slow but no fault of the store.thank youSal

The delivery time slot was from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. We actually received our stuff one hour early, at 8 a.m!The guys who assembled our furniture were professional, neat and clean. They took all packaging with them, too.The crew did an excellent job assembling the furniture pieces. It was quick and easy. We are so thankful and happy for our furniture.The quality is great, as described, and enhances our home. Also, Shawn helped us with any issue we had. I have been frequenting Jennifer Furniture for years now, and I have never left unhappy. I have been helped by both Christine and Shawn in the old store, and they have always been so helpful. For this reason, I decided to visit the new location in search of furniture for my new apartment. Let me start of by saying the new store is lovely, and the atmosphere is very laid back. Christine and Shawn greeted me as i entered and allowed me to browse the showroom. I did not feel pressured to buy anything, but if I had any questions they were more than happy to provide answers, with a smile. I ended up really liking the everyday sleeper, and Shawn picked up on that immediately. I ended up getting a great deal on it in the color i wanted, with fabric protection and delivery. The whole process was painless due to their commitment to the customer and their professionalism. Overall a great store with a great selection of furniture staffed by even better employees. You can believe ill be back again soon!
My fiance and I came here on a whim. Firstly, most of the furniture is beautiful and good quality. Additionally, prices were great especially for its quality and most of the furniture can come in many combinations of color and fabric. The staff, particularly Ito, was very friendly and helpful. He was not suffocating, but gave us informative information here and there. He gave us the logistics and was very honest about pricing without any b.s. or cover up. The best was we simply asked if there could be any discount, and he said he would look. After looking, he said he can give us 10% discount on the bedroom set we ordered. Overall great experience and will be coming back again.
This place is AMAZING!!! They could not have been more helpful and kind.I had a sofa I loved but we moved and it didnt fit in the new space so I was very particular in what I wanted. They took the time to figure out what would work best for my family and they nailed it! From now on this is my go to place for sure!

I would never ever buy anything from this store again. I purchased a bedroom set in May 2019 and as of September 2019 I have returned 2 damaged bedroom sets. Finally received the 3rd one which is also damaged. In addition to my delivery problems the store charged me an additional amount of money which no one at the store can give me a reasonable explanation. I have been working with Shawn at the store who is very professional, however his interest is just to generate revenues for the store .
Id definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good quality inexpensive furniture. They can copy all these different styles from other chains for really cheap. The couple running the place are really knowledgeable and friendly. They told me the couch was supposed to come in 3-4 weeks and it came in a week and a half. That was a pleasant surprise. Definitely worth checking out.
Got in to the store looking for arm chair with specific dimensions. Chaed the sales guy thought the store and finally caught up on him. After telling him what I was looking for, he said I dont know and left. No other customers inside at that time.
Super nice and friendly salesman. We were not harassed or pressured in any way. Made our purchase as stress free as possible. Excellent selection and quality. Highly recomended.

The arrogance of this place. Do yourself a favor and walk 30 feet to the right and go to Bobs furniture. That corporation at least understands customer service. These people will say ANYTHING to get the sale then tell you to kick rocks after. Waited 1 month for my couch that never got here. I had family coming for Christmas so I was forced to return the couch. Went next door to Bobs and got a better couch, cheaper, and in 2 days. Stay away from these con artists.
The best thing about this furniture store is that they are determine to succeed by providing quality services at good price. They care about their reputation and are willing to go out of their way to meet customers needs. I strongly recommend them.

I found Jennifer Furniture on the internet. Great price and awesome quality! It had great customer service......I brought a cough which was beautiful. And I got scheduled delivery by delivery men. They were fast, and delivered as scheduled! I was very satisfied with them!
Heard they are going bankrupt, they will see me in court, theyre closing most of their stores! con artists. The people that work there are the ones who answer the phone, they dont pay their vendors hence why they cant deliver your furniture. Good luck ever getting your furniture it should be illegal run far away and cancel like I did.
Was duped into buying 2 pieces of furniture with the promise they would both be delivered on the same day. When they didn’t deliver on their promise tried to cancel and get a refund but only got a partial refund and then the regional manager went on vacation - convenient. Still dealing with this issue and no one else in the company can help until regional manager gets back!

Believe the negative reviews and take the positives with a grain of salt (or maybe a truck full of salt)Maybe some people do end up having a great experience here but after reading through both the positive and negative reviews, I wish I wouldve heeded all the negative ones before ever going to this store. My experience mirrors the negative ones with the deception, lies, under-delivering (if at all) on promises and just overall a horrible experience. I will never shop at this store again and have even severed ties with American Express who sided with these guys even though JC provided fraudulent documents. I was told by Amex that I can file a police report for the alleged fraud but really who has time for that for a freekin sofa. I will tell you one thing ... keep your original sales receipt in a safe location as this store will alter the receipt after you sign it and if you lose yours (as I did mine during our move), you wont have any recourse.Buyer be ware and go anywhere else! A Craigslist meet in the middle of a ghetto would probably be a better experience than here.

We ordered our sofa bed here. It took us 2 month to recieve the item. We liked the couch but the time is too long. As if it was produced in China. If I knew that would be the case we would get it at other place.
Unfortunately the time frame they promised in the day they deliver are way off. I have to get my furniture replaced because they couldnt get my couch to me until next March. I feel sorry for the people who work there in that stall because theyre trying to help but their hands are tied also

Looking for furniture that comes with stress, lies, and the worst customer service? Then you’ve found the right place! I ordered my couch 9WEEKS AGO from Shawn who promised me a 4-6 week delivery time frame. After hitting 6 weeks “I” had to call the location for an update on my order. After several attempts on calling the store, NO ONE picks up. I had to go online and get directed to the Scarsdale location to get an update. They apologized for the delay and said I’d receive the couch within 7-8 weeks and would compensate me for the inconvenience. When week 8 came, I never heard anything so I called and was told it was on it’s way and should have it by this weekend, which gave me a sign of relief. When the weekend came, I called and found out it was never on the road at all and the fabric is back ordered and would take another week. I’m onto week 9 and still nothing received. Latest I’m told is it will be closer to 10 weeks before receiving. Yes, 10 weeks after being promised 4-6 (and we’ll see if that’s true too)! Shawn promises a bag of goods and never delivers it looks like after reading the rest of these reviews (I’m not the only one). I wish I read these reviews before I purchased this couch as I would’ve went elsewhere after this experience. When requesting a full refund they state “we don’t do that.” So beware and avoid at all costs. It’s not worth the headache.New update on 10/2 - I was contacted by customer service who said find out your order was not on the truck. Apparently someone at paramus tried to expedite the order and requested the factory to ship your order on a separate truck. this truck has still not arrived into our warehouse. i am totally embarrassed by this entire transaction.We have been trying to locate your order and find out when itwill arrive. so far we have no answer.New update 10/3 - Got a message the couch would be delivered between 2-6p. Nothing ever arrived. Called and found out the couch is still in North Carolina and will take an additional 3-5 business days (so 11 weeks total). Ive heard this scenario before and nothing happened..10/7 - Fred Cohen (director of customer service) admitted that this order is a mess with the way it was handled and has no clue why its still in North Carolina.So the headache continues...at this point I have requested a FULL refund and reported the order to the BBB.P. S.Jennifer Furniture will probably comment on my review and say “contact this 516 number” to resolve, but nothing will ever get done/fixed and the issues continue... They can look up order #5660 to see what I went through.
Classic Over-Promise, Under-Deliver Customer Service.Was sold a furniture set with guaranteed delivery date of Dec 12, was told (it should even be in a week before). After the classic run-around (the salesman was nowhere to be found), we are told this week that the furniture may come in the following week (After Christmas).We are now having to scramble to get new furniture before the holidays.To the owner/manager, you should base your decisions on your customers expectations and you have clearly under-delivered with this latest transaction. *My recommendation - Have clear defined delivery dates, and rethink your promises. Your sales delivery here was excellent, and customer-experience in house was also exemplary. However your backend operation is unfortunately saddled with deceit, and poor relationship management. ** Thank you for potentially ruining my holiday event.
Sofa beds are notorious for being uncomfortable after a few nights. We didn’t see ones that we liked. After a few months, we visited Jennifer Furniture and we found what we wanted. The sofa is comfortable, and it isn’t so bad when made into a bed! Highly recommended.
If I could give my experience with this company and store location zero stars I absolutely would. It has been nothing but problems. This is one of those cases where I feel grossly mislead as a customer in order for a company/ associate to make a sale.During the purchase process, I discussed with our salesperson ( Shawn) that we were concerned with one of the dresses fitting up a tight/ narrow stairwell. My husband and I asked more than once if this specific piece came unassembled and we were assured that it did and that delivery would include White glove set up and assembly and there would be no issue.Fast forward to delivery one week later and the piece does NOT come unassembled. We were scolded that we are responsible for proper measurements ( despite our prior conversation), and we were then told unassembled means the drawers are removable, which is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.And then I am told I have to pay additional money ( in cash $200, which seems very untraditional and unprofessional) to have a third party to come to disassemble the furniture, and have not had any communication as to what company this individual represents, contact information, or what type of recourse I have if this individual damages the furniture. The only silver lining is that I may get a part of that $200 refunded to me but at this point I wont hold my breath with the type of customer service I have received so far.Long story short, I learned my lesson, and wont assume sales associates actually know that a piece of furniture comes unassembled or not and I certainly wont be back to Jennifer Furniture ever again!!

Christine did a superb job helping us choose a sleeper sectional (the Atlanta by Klaussner) for our NYC apartment. She helped us select a comfortable mattress, the Ensui memory foam, and helped us pick out the color, Mogo Honey, in a Chenille fabric, which looked spectacular, in addition to the accent pillows which also looked great. She is patient, has a keen eye for decor, and is an all-around pleasure to work with. She and her partner Sean know their product line and know how to guide you with respect to your needs. This is now our second Jennifer Convertible. We owned our first, a microsuede sleeper sectional, for over 12 years, a testament to the fact that Jennifer makes a quality product. This latest one is made in North Carolina and my wife and I immediately noticed how sturdy it feels. We look forward to many years of good use....and will see Christine and Sean again in Paramus when the time comes.
Bought a couch. All fine at first. (Huge) trouble started when I needed support because the couch got delivered with damage. 4 month later including uncountable phone calls and emails and anger and threatening with bureau of better business it finally got replaced.Comparison: Ashley’s down the road made a mistake with delivery schedule and immediately compensated without even questioning.Consider your options.
If I could give 0 stars it would be. Ive ordered multiple things and Ive been told that it would be delivered quickly, but have been told over and over again that it would be soon. On top of that, recently, Ive been getting just 30 minutes before my delivery. They are supposed to tell us at least the day before what time it would be delivered. I had to reschedule and then the next time the same thing happens except I get a call saying my items will be delivered in 10 minutes. Once my delivery arrives, I am told that my tv console has to be assembled on my own because it takes too much time to assemble. The absolute most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard. They have really tested my patience to the max.

Similar to the review by Daniel Scavetta, Shawn, the sales person lied to us about their protection policy. He also lied about the pieces of furniture we were supposed to receive. Do not do business with Shawn Ballingal or Jennifer convertibles. Stay away from him and the company. Anything to make some $$$... even if it means lying to people and taking advantage of them. Yos Should be ashamed of yourself.

I must say that the Jennifer on rt 17 in Paramus, nj is the place you need to go if your looking for quality beautiful furniture the associates are nice and store manager Sean was such a wonderful manager ...I will be back when i need New furniture...rt 17 Paramus is the best!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Jennifer Convertibles.This will be the first place I look when furniture shopping in the future.
My daughter and I visited the showroom in Paramus for the first time mid November. The showroom was very nice and we were greeted and helped by Christine and Shawn. My daughter was looking for the right chair or small sofa for the loft area in her room. We found a great couch and Christine was very helpful and patient while we chose the right colors and patterns. We placed the order and was told 4-6 weeks for delivery and that they would try really hard to be closer to the 4 weeks so it would arrive in time for my daughters birthday. In the fifth week I reached out because my daughters birthday was that week in hopes to hear good news. Christine was on vacation and the help I received was horrible and the worst customer service you can imagine. After following up several times over several days I finally just stopped in and saw Christine and shared what happened. We realized at that point the couch would not be in and we were looking for an ETA on when we could expect it. Christine was going to call me that day and I never heard anything I reached out and she was not in and I received rude treatment. I had to escalate on my own through research for the customer support line since the person refused to give me the information. I received a call back from Shawn and he was able to give me good information and the couch should have been in last week. I called Friday to find out that it still wasnt in and to update my contact information for the fourth time since Christine wrote it down incorrectly. When I got no where I stopped in last night for Christine to completely ignore me and my daughter not say hello or anything that I walked over and spoke to Shawn to get more information. This started out as a fun exciting purchase for my daughters 18th birthday and has turned into a big disappointment- I hope this couch comes in soon we are pushing almost 8 weeks!! I will never do business with this company again and it is all because of the poor customer service had they been honest, helpful and caring none this would have happened and all would be ok!!January 19,2018Thank you for your response and I truly hope you do call because I am having a hard time getting someone on the phone that cares or wants to help. I received a message from Shawn today and when I called back he wasnt there. I was told after 8 minutes on hold that he wanted to know if next Saturday would work for delivery that there is a 90% chance the couch could be delivered. I asked what does that mean a 90% chance - do you know where it is and what is going on? The response back was so rude with the worst attitude and I ask if Shawn could call me back and of coarse nothing. I cant believe the this I have never encounter such rude and nasty people. I wish I could just cancel this and never have to deal with Jennifer Furniture again. My daughter is so upset and you all just dont care. So we shall see if I receive a follow up call from someone above Shawn that can actually do something.
Never ever buy any furniture from the store. First, they are expensive and second very poor customer service and furniture succckkkkksssss. And when you have complaints, they dont even listen.................
Any reviews for this place that are more than one star are out right lies. Shawn the regional manager is a liar. This place is terrible. Shawn sold me two pieces and it turns out only one was in stock. He lied and said I’d hsve them in 6 days. After 4 days he had an associate call and say they don’t have one piece but maybe they’ll have it a couple days later. Then Shawn called back and said he’d guarantee delivery in two weeks then changed his mind again and said a different date. Shawn said he’d trust me to go get a truck and pick up the display model and borrow it. (This guy is for real). I said i has one order and it consisted of two pieces not two separate orders. I said I don’t trust him because his story kept changing and I demanded a full refund. I said I want my total order when it was promised or I want all of my money back. He finally said he’s guve me a refund. HOWEVER, he only refunded me for one piece. This guy is the worst salesman/manager I’ve ever dealt with. In resting reviews it seems this is common for him. He must be a relative of the owner to still have his job. What kind of owner of a company would want a man like this running his stores. What a disgrace. Tomorrow if I don’t have my refund I will contact the Bergen County Department if Cinsumer Affairs and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Officer. I was charged over $1700.00 never received anything and was only refunded $577.00. This is FRAUD And THEFT. Shawn was supposedly in the Paramus store today but no phone all and no fill refund. This has now been going on for almost 2 weeks. I’ve just about had enough. I will be filing complaints shortly. UPDATE: The alleged owner that answered my review on here still did NOTHING. Consumer Affairs Complaint filed, attorney hired and next to contact the Attorney General in New York and New Jersey. Again it’s now over two weeks and no full refund and nothing ever received.
One of the worst experiences, Delays, no one answer the phone most of the time. I bought a sofa and now 7 weeks and never got it.

We appreciated the service Eyra gave us. She has emotional intelligence. She was helpful and available but not pushy or overbearing. She at one point said to our family “, I will leave you to discuss this.” Great intuition.!! She was very patient and we never felt pressured. Honestly, I think we purchasedthe furniture at Jennifer’s because we felt respected and understood by Eyra. Thank you for this experience.
