I purchased bench made dining hutch a few years back. It is a very expensive piece of furniture. I have had nothing but trouble with the hutch. A few months after delivery the doors became very difficult to open. Parts of the doors actually separated and head gaps in the framing of the door itself I have been going back-and-forth with customer service and yesterday they simply said it is what it is it is the weather. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service it is taken years for resolution and for me the final resolution is completely and totally unacceptable. Perhaps they made the doors just a little bit too big to begin with. The other solution in my mind is that instead of having the doors fit inside the frame and doors could have simply closed outside the frame like a normal kitchen cabinet. Nonetheless I am left with an extremely expensive piece of furniture that often is left with the doors ajar because they cannot be closed completely. I did purchase a round table again bench made that is beautiful and has given me no problems.

The positive reviews must be by people who work here. I was told everything was in stock and would ship soon, to call in two weeks. When I called, I was told call in two weeks. When I called today they were very very rude, I was told the nightstand was on back order, then I had to call the store who said two more weeks and the ottoman was on back order not the nightstand. Then I called customer service, who was really nice, and said it would be at least another 4 weeks. I had to speak to 3 people before I got to Meaghan who seemed honest and helpful.

Don’t waste your money on this cheap quality furniture. Bought a sofa loveseat, and coffee table. Within a year all the finish peeled off the top of the table. Sofa seems ripped numerous times, and they won’t honor there horrible warranty plan which I spent $400 on. Pottery Barn a little more expensive but quality blows this away.

So pleased with my experience here and grateful for Sarah Luppinos design support and service. She was so patient with me on my two visits here while I picked the perfect couch and living room furniture. I enjoyed the process and appreciated how much she worked with me in my budget.

Great place

The salesperson, Grissel was wonderful...cant say that about customer service with the problem i had with the piece i bought.. I picked up the end table myself and there were nuts and washers missing. I had bought this as a gift for my daughter and delivered it to her without knowing about the missing pieces. After many phone calls I finally gave in and looked at her coffee table and identified the pieces I needed and then made a trip to Home Depot - For the price I dont think I should have had to do this and this was not the only piece weve bought. I have two daughters who have furnished their homes almost exclusively Bassett. Poor customer satisfaction...

Awesome, quality selection of home goods, with friendly and engaging sales staff. Ive worked with Jasmine over the last several years, and she is always polite, efficient, and helpful. They have plenty of sales and specials to make their high prices affordable if you pay attention.

Worst customer services. The lady at the sales was the worst . She kept pointed us to the sale section and was very rude. There are much better furniture stores on Route 17 than this overpriced store.

I made a purchase back in July 2019 when we called to have the furniture delivered they tell us they don’t have it anymore in stock that we need to pick something else we paid cash in full and now they’re telling us they don’t have a furniture, so I told him I want to re-come back the same way I paid which it was cash they’re telling me that they’re going to take 30% off of what I paid being it was in Northport they’re the ones that don’t have the furniture anymore now they’re telling us to come back on Tuesday to see if they’re going to give us a refund back or not they also wouldn’t provide me with managers name, never buy furniture here they lie they take your money and they don’t have the furniture in stock !! They also wanna keep 30% the payment, they are scammers rip people off !!!!!

I think theyre on par with Ethan Allen for quality, but Bassett offers a couple ready made lines in limited styles and colors that are a terrific value.

Customizable options

Design staff were excellent. Friendly and interested in their job. One of the products shipped was faulty and responsibility was taken and a replacement done within 3 weeks. I got to keep the faulty product (badly done nail head job) until he replacement arrived so had something to go in the space. Dont be put off by the fabrics in the store - they all seems to be more open weave, durable stuff - you can also get soft velvets and leathers of a better quality to go on the designs. I nearly didnt come back to the showroom after the first visit because of the fabrics on display but am glad I did.

Beverly was more than helpful! Very informative and not pushy. She is Friendly and extremely considerate and professional.

The sales people at store are nice, but never buy here when your furniture comes damage they have the worst customer service department. Spent hours just to get the tv stand fixed. They promised a credit and never sent it, had to call and spend another hour for it. Not worth buying here.
