From beginning to end, my experience with Futon World has been terrific. The in-store showroom had a good selection to choose from, including fabrics for the futon cover. The sales person was very helpful and in no way pushy to make a sale. Delivery was awesome. The crew put together my futon, showed me how to position it, and disposed of all boxes and trash. They were really kind and helpful with all of my questions. I debated whether to save a little money and buy a futon online. I am SO GLAD I didnt do that. The furniture is of a great quality, the custom cover I selected is gorgeous, and I feel as if I had any questions or issues, Id have them taken care of. I am happy to have had a great experience with a locally owned, NJ-based business that I would definitely shop at again. Thank you guys - great job!

Jared and his team were patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything from costs to materials. The prices were fair and they worked to coordinate delivery to when it best suited us. The delivery experience was exceptional. The two gentlemen came to our home observing safety guidelines, aptly built the two futons (and quickly) and cleaned up after they were done. Finally, they took the time to explain to us how everything works. I cannot thank the team at Futon World enough for their awesomeness. Will do business with you again!

Salesman was friendly and nice, but all the futons were very stiff, springy and not very comfortable. Found a more comfortable memory foam version of the same style at Bobs for $200 less.

I could not be happier with our new couches and the delivery service was 5 star! The store promised our couches would be here before Christmas and even with the snow storm we experienced earlier this week they still made it!!! Our delivery men communicated with us every step of the way. They wore masks 😷 and were very respectful the entire time. We are extremely satisfied and would definitely do business with Futon World again!

We bought three futons mattresses from Futon World about 6months ago, two twins and a full size. All three had a strong unpleasant odor when we first got them. We thought the smell would eventually go away. Unfortunately that has not been the case. We have tried many work-arounds, including steam cleaning, airing them out, wrapping them waterproof covers and adding a foam layer on top . The smell keeps coming. We were told these cotton futons were made without fire retardant. After 6 months they smell as strong as when we first bought them. The smell literally gives us headaches. We are going to throw them away and buy new ones somewhere else.

I love FutonWorld. We are redocorating and I went in to buy a new mattress cover for the futon I bought at FutonWorld about 5 years ago. I mentioned my remodeling to the sales person, Kim. Kim was so awesome, helping me pick the right cover. We talked about what elae I needed... I had no idea I could order furniture from FutonWorld. I ended up ordering a dining room table, too! The whole process was seamless. I love my table. Everything was so easy. The delivery and set up was so smooth, Im already ready to go back to order a bedroom set!

My first purchase was in the Fall 2016, it was only $149.00, a 4 inch cotton futon mattress. I had spent over 2 hours there. Today he helped my daughter purchase a futon bed, allowing us as much time as needed, and answering all our questions. He put together a nice package including delivery and set up. Best customer service Ive ever had. I purchased a futon around 8:00 p.m. and found there was some hardware missing from the box. I called the store asking if I could get the pieces mailed to me, and the salesman actually drove them to my house, an hour away from the store, the very same evening. Just went to Futon World in Paramus,to purchase a sofa type futon bed.The salesman there was very informant and explained the different types of frames and comfort levels of mattresses .After many questions and listening to what I was looking for and how I was going to use it, he suggested the many options I had to choose from.With his assistance I chose the unit I felt would satisfy my needs.He showed me mattresses in different comfort levels regardless of price but would fit my need.After my purchase he set up a delivery that worked with my schedule on his delivery day .The delivery men were fast and neat.My inlaws who have slept on many futons said that the mattress I chose was one of the most comfortable they had ever slept on.Thanks to MIKE for listening and helping me choose a mattress that made me look like a genius. Please visit him and have him make you shine in whoevers eyes need be. .

They give me a 10a to 2p delivery and dont show I took the day off to get the delivery and when I call them they give me the usual oh its raining oh theres traffic last time I checked rain isnt snow...thats what happens when u hire low wages instead of teamsters

I moved to New Jersey from the Midwest and needed furniture for my new apartment. I walked into Futon World in Paramus, NJ after visiting at least 10-15 other furniture stores and the entire process was nothing short of the BEST!! The gentleman at this store, Muzzy, was INCREDIBLY helpful, knowledgeable of all of the products (I had NO knowledge of futons as I had never purchased or had one before), patient as I looked at every single futon in the store, and took care of everything efficiently! The gentleman who delivered my futon were GREAT!! The first futon they brought to my apartment (12:15pm which was right at the beginning of the window of time they gave me) had a crack in the storage area, so they instantly had me call Muzzy at the store and explain while they waited (without fussing or huffing which was refreshing) and Muzzy took care of it NO QUESTION stating on the phone that is unacceptable, we will take care of it and get u a brand new one. The delivery men left and I was planning to have to wait another week to get my new futon, but Muzzy called me to let me know they had another one in stock at the warehouse and that the men would deliver the fresh futon before 4pm (this was within my block of time they originally gave for delivery). The delivery gentleman returned to my apartment at 2pm (earlier than expected) and set up my futon perfectly and cleaned up all of the trash. I truly couldnt be happier, what an AMAZING experience and refreshing as other deliveries I have had on the east coast have not been nearly as efficient. I would recommend to everyone to go to the Paramus, NJ Futon World and ask for Muzzy, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

My wife and I were looking for a sleeper couch. We went to 5 stores, but kept coming back to Futon World on Route 4 East in Paramus. Fro the first time we went in Muzzy treated us as if we were family. Never too much to show us another Futon. Never too much to move one out of the way so we could see one behind it.Muzzy asked us the right questions, but let us make our own decision. After the 4th trip we finally said, We are buying a Futon sofa/sleeper.Worth it to go check them out. If you go to the Paramus store, and Muzzy is helping you, Tell him Hank london sent you!
