Dr. Tony Smith is excellent. I love her professionalism, her compassion, her sense of humor and her love for for me as a patient. She shares her life experiences as well. Dr. Tony has an encouragement to me. I go in depressed and leave uplifted. God placed this young lady in my life for a reason and its beyond her profession. Thank you so much for caring. My PA, Alyx, is always pleasant and very knowledgeable. She is very reassuring during the visit and always finds a way to make the encounter very enjoyable. The staff have been great to work with over the years. They treated my skin cancer fully and professionally and keep track of my skin to catch any future issues. They have also been great to work with for my teens.

Check in was very professional and the person there was very nice. I was taken back in a reasonable amount of time by Liz, who was very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Duncan came in and discussed my issue thoroughly and understandable. She hit right on my issue and what to do about it. I enjoyed my visit and am glad to have found them.

Dr. Au removed a 25+yr cyst on my neck quickly and with no pain! I was very impressed with him and his assistants friendliness and professionalism. Highly recommend Advanced Dermatology in Pearland.

She spent hours with out insurance specialty medicine provider to get our prescription filled after they dropped the ball. She has excellent customer service skills and provided up with exceptional care.

I have been coming to the Pearland office for several years. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff. I have also had to have 3 different additional surgeries provided by Advanced at its Sugarland office. Caring, compassionate staff at both locations. Since coming here I have never considered going anywhere else.

Overall experience was incredible!! Julie is so professional, and makes you feel very comfortable as well. She is thorough in explaining the steps in the procedure. I’m confident no matter what service you are there for, you will find it’s a great experience!

I went in to have a sketchy mole biopsied. In and out the door in 35 minutes, and I even talked everyone’s ears off! I am disabled, I go to a LOT of doctors, and these folks are top shelf in every way. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A friend referred me to this place and the Dr. Front desk personal were friendly, and I didnt have to wait long when I saw the Dr. Really liked this Dr.

The staff there is friendly and pretty hospitable to deal with, but Dr. Marzuka has no bedside manners. When asking questions he give short abrupt answers rushes through with little to no consolation and not very friendly. Bad enough I had to wait almost an hour to get in and for him to treat you like youre just a number to him is unacceptable. It seems from previous reviews this is not uncommon and hes giving your office a bad reputation.

Efficient and professional, the staff at Advanced Dermatology in Pearland got me into the exam room in short order while observing COVID-19 protocols (better than our state leadership is). Dr. Marzuka was thorough, professional, and explained every step of my procedure to me. I cannot recommend Advanced Dermatology highly enough.

Marzuka, Alexander, M.D performed very poorly. From start to finish I felt rushed and given abrupt sharp answers. Bad enough I was seeing him because of something I was unsure and self conscious about. His aid had more sense and was more calm and understanding than he was. I wish I got her name because she actually took more time to answer and help me understand the situation of my condition. by the end of the first visit a biopsy was taken and sent to a lab but failed to mention that the lab results would have a entirely different bill attached to it. On the return Visit it only got worse, again the assistant was really nice and helpful but Marzuka came in, took the stitches out and left immediately. He didnt skip a beat and it was proof enough by his lack of sincerity that I was just a routine number to be cranked out. If my insurance had paid for these visits and lab results i would have felt slightly better but because I came out of pocket with my hard owned money I cant let this slide. Because it very well could happen again and I would feel bad if I knew I could have warned them.

I’m torn. We love Toni and the service she provides. The overall experience, however, has not been good. Our appointments the past two months have been changed the day of. Proper Rx & reports have not been sent. The other MD & PA we’ve seen have been average in service provision & we’ve had to wait (40+ minutes) to see them. Not sure I’d recommend…

1st visit with Dr. Marzuka. He was great. Listened to my concerns and treated me on the spot. Will be going back as needed. The staff is also knowledgeable and very friendly.

Failed to mention they couldnt complete the operation after waiting two weeks for the surgery. Wasnt informed of the problem until the day before my operation! Went to Dermsurgery instead no problems and very upfront with everything!

Went to go see Dr. Toni Smith about hand issues I’ve been having. I had told the nurse before hand I had tried ezcema treatment along with a few other treatments in the past and nothing had worked. And I had suspicions it might of been something else.Dr. Toni Smith looked at my hands for 2 seconds and magically determined it was ezcema. She completely ignored me when I told her I had tried ezcema treatments in the past and stated “well medicine has changed” she then went on to prescribe me medication I have already tried in the past. And ignored me when I said that too.This place only exists to make money.If you want to be completely dismissed as a patient, go to this place.If you want to be treated with respect, find somewhere else.

I have been here maybe twice before and had an appointment with PA Toni. She was amazing, my mother goes to her and loves her.However, I needed an appointment ASAP, and was booked with Marzucka. DO NOT GO TO HIM. Even if you are desperate please wait for another dermatologist to become available. He diagnosed me and ran out of the room without explaining my diagnosis or any information to me. I was left with no information. I had to make a second appointment to get all my questions and concerns addressed. My fault for going back, but I thought I would give him a second chance. He was even worse the second time. Became frustrated with me, dismissed me, offered to give me a medication that was not recommended for women of child bearing age just to shut me up (and laughed about it). I heard him speak rudely about me along with his assistant when I left. He was just overall extremely unprofessional. I would give no stars, but Google does not allow me.

I found them on my insurance website and I am so glad I did. I had my first appointment via zoom with Heather Tran. I made sure I was in great lighting for her to see my face to properly diagnose my condition. I had hormonal acne as well as cystic acne. Our call only lasted about 20 mins and she immediately saw what was wrong and prescribed me topical creams and a pill. My first appointment was in April 2020 which at this point I had lots of scaring and a current breakout on my cheeks by the end of July my face was completely clear as you can see in the last pictures I have posted. I was able to clear my face by having a consistent morning and evening routine and the creams that Heather prescribed me which I applied two at night and one in the morning. I am so grateful I found Heather! She is amazing!

I had a “consultation” with Dr. Marzuka. He only gave a prescription, no consultation, assessment treatment recommendations, nothing. He prescribed the same creams I had and still prescribed the same after showing him what I had using. Had to pay a consultation that I did not get.

You can see a few years ago I gave them a good rating and review but things have changed..If I could put no stars here, I would. I have been going to Advanced Dermatology for several years and have not had any issues with the service there. My last appointment I had some bumps on the inside of my mouth I was concerned about. Toni looked at them and prescribed a steroid cream to put inside my mouth. However, after basic research, that cream would made me extremely sick. When I picked up the medication, the label said for external/topical use only The bumps were inside my lips... Later that day I left a message at the office about billing and I told them about the wrongly prescribed medicine as well. No one returned my phone call. I didnt use the medicine because of what the label said. I called the office 5 times and no one returned my phone call. Then I received a bill in the mail for the office visit even after I was misprescribed medicine and did not get a return phone call. To actually get a return phone call is a major ordeal. But I sure got the bill pretty fast. Im glad I looked up the steriod cream before I used it. Had I not, it wouldve poisoned me!

WORST experience I’ve had in my entire life! After seeing the Doctor several times for my kids skin issues, and spending over $2000 he never remembered us each time we walked in his office. Then, dealing with billing customer service was a nightmare. They charged 2 of my credit cards when this COVID 19 business started without sending me bills to describe services that were being charged. The bills are very vague and do not mention services rendered. After all of this and seeing this doctor for over 8 months, my kids skin issues are still not resolved! Please go to a different Dermatologist and don’t waste your time or money!

I recently had Cool Sculpting done by Regina, and my results are AMAZING!! I am down 5 pounds and feeling much more confident in my bikini. Regina is so knowledgeable and really made me feel comfortable during my treatment. While I was there she also gave me very helpful tips on getting my face cleared up for my wedding.The office in Pearland is very clean and the staff was top notch!!! I would highly recommend everyone to go to Advanced Dermatology for any of their cosmetic, or dermatological needs!!

I have been a patient for 5+ years and have always appreciated the top notch care I have received. Dr. Kelly Duncan is professional and extremely knowledgeable with wonderful bedside manner. By far the most unprofessional front office staff I have ever encountered at a doctor’s office. And then the doctor seems like he is doing a trial and error—appears clueless as to what he is talking about. He barely look on my skin and came up with a diagnosis. Not to mention Joanne at the call center—very unprofessional. Cyndy at the front desk kept repeating patients’ confidential information, such as phone number and address, aloud for confirmation. Rosa seemed as if she hates her job. What a travesty I placed myself into by setting an appointment at this place.

First visit so still getting impressions. Waiting room was busy, staff efficient and loved Toni. She was thorough but didnt take too long. Checkout was fast.

I have an appointment tomorrow with this place and I didnt submit the requirement form online. The lady from the office called me this afternoon and asked me to complete the form. She was very rude. She was supposed to remind the customer, not order them to do things. Hopefully the dermatologist that I see tomorrow is nice and helpful and not impolite like one of the help desks.

I just finished up minor surgery with Dr. Pelster. He and his staff were very professional, courteous and caring. Highly recommend them for dermatology care!

I just want help with my issue. I came in on Sept 18th to find out what this mysterious spot is on my face. I was seen by the doctor for less than 3 minutes and was prescribed an antibiotic. I have taken the antibiotic as instructed and have yet to see any results of the bump, cyst or what ever it is on my face. I asked to the doctor to lance it and remove it but she insisted to go the antibiotic route I knew it wasn’t going to be beneficial for removing it.. please help my confidence level is at it all time low because of this I just want to remove it. I can feel the lump under my skin. I have had this now since August 24,2019 and I want to get my to my self again.

Very bad experience, Doctor doesnt want to listen to the problem or assess properly. Jumping into conclusion and running away from the patient. no patient education and no patience .I had the same experience when I took the daughter also.Also the doctor was rushing as if he have to catch the bus or train.40 dollar consultation is less than 3 min worth. I never recommend anyone to go to this location or doctors over there.

Other than the 3 or 4 ladies gossiping loudly at the front desk, this was a very professional and great experience. I will change this to a 5 star on my next visit if no one is discussing the poor friend who got fat when she was pregnant. (There were more shallow things discussed, but this was the one that really upset me).

I had a chemical peel a week ago with, Regina the Aesthetician in Pearland, she is highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable with anything involving skin care and aging of the skin. Shes compassion and her professionalism is amazing. I started peeling exactly 2 days after the treatment, just as she said, and Im very happy with the results. I highly recommend Regina to anyone looking for the best skin care!! Thank you!!

PA Heather Tran was amazing, she was super nice and knowledgeable!!Its only been one day since she put me on the new medication and cream and I havent felt this good in way too long suffering from my horrible rashes, im scheduling to go back for my follow up in two weeks :)

I was suppose to receive a call from you all about the next step after the consultation for the procedure and doctors information and the cost, no call back. Paid the same day for a 3 minute conversation and no follow up. Definitely disappointed in your staff and customer service.

I went to Advanced Dermatology to try the CoolSculpting procedure. Regina is very skilled and experienced in the procedure. She explained everything and let me communicate my concerns and questions. The procedure couldnt have gone more smoothly, since I knew exactly what to expect from Regina. All of the staff is very engaging and helpful. I cant wait to come back for my next procedure!

Not unlike many clinics, Advanced dermatology is what I call customer ugly. My appointment was for 3:30 but I did not see a doctor until 4:07. I have been here several times and this seems to be standard operating procedure. This is so common that I was offered no acknowledgement of his tardiness at all.. verifying my assumption. SOLUTION: Like MD Anderson, have a sign in the waiting room that states, doctor ahead of schedule, doctor on time, doctor behind ___ minutes. If the doctor is more than 15 minutes behind, sincerely apologize to the customer and offer to reschedule. Please do not post a comment that says for me to call you. This is also customer ugly. The person responsible for the issue is also the person responsible for the call.

I went for a chemical peel. Discussed with person the options. Couldn’t afford the laser procedure, so stuck with peel. I got the medium version. I’m disappointed with the results. My skin peeled, I guess, but it was just like when I have dry skin, very little came off, and I don’t think all my face peeled, even though when I called, they say I just couldn’t see the peel. It wasn’t worth the money I paid for it. I was hoping for something that would make a difference and this really didn’t. The brochure says best after 3-6 peels. At $200 a pop, when it’s cheaper elsewhere, I’ll search elsewhere.

I recently visited Advanced Dermatology in Pearland and was very happy with my visit. The Staff is friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome and well cared for.I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for a dermatologist.

Dr. Duncan is awesome. She was recommended to me by my parent who wont go anywhere else and neither will I. Her freezing technique it quick and painless.

We had an appointment set up in advance and sadly the appointment was the day of the hurricane. We tried to call to cancel before and the day of and it was closed. We still got charge as a no show. It was the middle of a hurricane and it was closed.

Kind, energetic, helpful staff. My 1st time to visit and I was filed with anxiety and Dr. Marzuka was very kind, informative and took time to speak with me and answer my questions and seemed to genuinely care about what was going on with me. His nurse was very sweet as well. I wish I could remember everyones names but overall everyone and Advanced Dermatology is professional, happy to help and Im glad I going this place:-)

I’m not sure why this Magdalena always uses the same excuse over and over. Why is it she can never seem to find someone in their records. If these people are patients, then they’re in there. I believe this to be a way to side step the bad experiences that people are having there. It sounds like Magdalena needs to be retrained on the computer.

I scheduled an appointment and came in to be told that all “paperwork” must be completed on an iPad via a 3rd party application that required me to make an account with a username and password. I told the front desk I wasn’t comfortable giving my information to a third party and asked for real paperwork and was told I must use the iPad. I asked them if they could ask someone if I could use regular paper for intake and they again said that’s the only way they could see me. As a medical professional I find this extremely rude and a waste of time for me to make an appointment only to be told I could not be seen without jumping through pointless hoops. I won’t be returning.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! My husband was scheduled for surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma (one that they failed to biopsy 2 years ago) and they just called to cancel because they are not accredited with our BC/BS insurance! Less than 24 hours notice AND we have already scheduled time off from work. This is VERY disconcerting - offered us no recourse - just Sorry, cant do it. Now I get to try and find a surgeon QUICK!

Didn’t have any issues with this dermatology office. Went in as a new patient, filled out paperwork, and was called back very quickly. They removed my skin tags in a timely manner and I had no problems! I will say...that if a new patient fills in paper work saying they are interested in other cosmetic procedures...it would be wise for the doctor to bring that up and talk to them about it. I felt like I wrote things down for nothing. Not so sure I’ll be back for things like microdermabrasion, but I had a good experience here and appreciate the professionalism desplayed by the office.

I had 3 areas treated with Coolsculpting and the results have been amazing. I could tell a difference within the first month. Its been 2 months and I continue to lose inches. I’m hooked!

So far I am unhappy with them taking away all my face products because of a red rash around my eye, even the products I use everywhere without a reaction. I am using their recommended chemical laden products in effort to figure out what the rash is and now I am breaking out, I called to see what kind of toner I can use and they said I shouldnt use anything just keep breaking out until my next appointment in 10 days, I assume its so I will have to have more visits and pay them more money as well as line the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies they are aligned with. Give a girl some toner, so I can address the issue I have without creating more. I am calling a new dermatologist tomorrow.

I am LIVID!!! The VI precision Plus caused an enormous breakout on my forehead and chin. So I basically paid $300 for a breakout. Oh I don’t want to fail to mention this peel did absolutely NOTHING FOR MY SKIN/complexion. In fact it left my complexion worse due to this breakout, which will ultimately have scarring and additional blemishes.You definitely located me per the voicemail left on my phone 4/19 @8:46 am. You have nothing to say to me as I am STILL dealing with this breakout and I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO ALLOW YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO CAUSE FURTHER HARM.GENUINELY,NIA

The front desk doesnt know how to inform patients about their rules and procedures. Took my grandson with a letter from his mother like all of drs allow, we get there and then they explain rules. He missed school for nothing. Wont be back. Daughter cant get refund on her account for a prepaid service either. Shes not going back either

Horrible customer service. Saw the doctor 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The good thing was about this place was who I saw, but she wont be at the Pearland location anymore. The lady at the front desk seemed unprofessional and confused about her job, gave me the wrong address to my prescription, and they still havent submitted my medicine to the correct pharmacy. Overall, this experience was just irritating.

I would give this office 10 stars if possible. This review covers three appointments over the past 7 weeks. The first appointment was to check a skin spot. The 2nd appointment to remove a skin cancer, and the final was a follow-up. 3 appointments and each time was great. Really prompt. Very little waiting. Front staff really friendly and helpful. Dr. Marzuka is excellent, Dr. Pelster took the time to listen and explain the procedure. And Liz (surgical assistant) is the absolute best. Super friendly and caring. Finally, Key Sloan was such an advocate for me in going out of her way to figure out an insurance resolution.This was my experience. They care and make you feel important. Fully recommend (hopefully youll meet Liz and Key. They will make you smile!)

The people at Advanced Dermatology on Cullen are all professional, courteous and nice to all patients but there comes along a person once in a while that is truly exceptional. Such a person is Victoria that works at the front desk foe Advanced dermatology at their Cullen location. Not only is she one of the nicest people you could ever meet she is all about helping others. When I was having a tough situation getting paperwork from another facility she volunteered to help and the entire problem was resolved and I had an appointment within a half hour. As I was waiting for my appointment I noticed how she continued to help everyone that came in with a smile never leaving her face. I know if there was one person I would want as an ambassador for me or my business it would be her.Victoria, you are truly my hero.

Pharmacy switch alert! I verified my pharmacy as a local CVS prior to seeing the P.A.. At the end of the visit I was informed that my prescriptions were sent to Webster Pharmacy in Webster, TX because this is who we use. My prescriptions were for readily available ointments and I needed them today not in three or four days via postal service. I called the Webster pharmacy and they advised me to have CVS call them. CVS called and the prescriptions were transferred and I had the medications within 5 hours of the end of my visit to Advanced Dermatology. I dont understand why they didnt send a common prescription to my preferred pharmacy and their attitude was who care what you want, this is how we want to do it. I highly suggest you make your preference clear to the P.A. or physician you see when they tell you what they are prescribing.

I have only been once to a dermatologist during my teen years and since they werent helpful i was reluctant to try another dermatologist. After years of being unhappy with my skin i decided to try my luck one more time. I was referred to Advanced dermatology by one of my friends so I gave it a shot.At my appointment, i meet with Regina and Dr. Venkatarajan who were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They made me feel very comfortable discussing my skin concerns. I was extremely happy to walk out of the office knowing there are treatments that may work for me after being in the dark for so many years. Super excited about my future treatments at Advanced dermatology.P.S. Dr. Venkatarajan smile is pretty contagious!!!

I couldnt have asked for a better experience! From the Doctors that checked for skin cancer to the esthetician and assistants that have helped with my skin care regimen, I always feel cared for and that they genuinely care for my health and comfort .Ill be referring all of my family and friends!

Had an appointment for my son this morning for 10 this morning. I got there at 9:55 only to be told you left a message on my phone July 10th starting his Dermatologist provider is currently at the Katy office. I was kind off confused, seeing you just sent me a confirmation text July 26th and July 29th and I sent a confirmation response back. How inconsiderate of my time as I am a working motherand I had to schedule the appointment around my schedule.

It is hard to even give them one star. This review is not a reflection of the doctors but of management. My first appointment I wait 90 minutes before leaving and the 2nd time over 60 minutes before leaving.

I am Scheduled for a 10:30 appointment, I arrived early, staff said Doctors are running 30 minutes behind, well it’s now 11:15 and my name isn’t called. I told the staff to remove my name from the list. I would not recommend anyone to Advanced Dermatologist Pearland location. Horrible customer service and it appears the staff could care less of patients time.

Dr. Michael Pelster performed Mohs surgery on my 80+ year old Mom. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. They looked after her throughout the procedure. Dr. Pelster’s chair side manner was personable, informative and kind. The first extraction resulted in clean margins but left an 8-9mm hole above my Mom lip. What happened after that was the work of a talented surgeon. Dr. Plester placement of the sutures was very thought out and ended beautifully. The scars are almost undetectable. Not only are we pleased with Dr. Pelster’s clinical skills, he returned my call the same day… very impressive.

My daughter was referred there to have a small cyst removed from her arm. I was charged $108 for the doctor to walk into the room, look at the cyst and say, Yeah, thats a cyst. Lets schedule an appointment to remove it and that was basically it. 3 minutes to repeat what the referring doctor had already said (I had to pay that one too). To me this seemed like nothing more than an opportunity to get an additional fee and an abuse of the insurance system. I am disgusted and will go to one of the many alternatives in the area.**UPDATE** I find it very telling that these people cant even be bothered to respond to negative comments individually rather than using a cut and pasted response. A short scroll down will show that the same response was used for each. I find this very in keeping with the treatment received in their office. Yet another reason to go somewhere else.

This is the first time I hsve been to this outfit. One visit is not enough to give an accurate review.

Very disappointed that my prescriptions were called into 2 different pharmacies, neither which I provided. Ive used the same pharmacy for years - which I also verified during my appt. How these were called into the WRONG pharmacies I have no idea. I attempted to call to get them to my correct pharmacy but the MA I spoke to said it was my responsibility to contact pharmacy and have them transferred. Oh great, let me do your job because you clearly messed it up twice!!!! I get a new dr every year because they are always leaving and now i cant even get a prescription called into the correct pharmacy. Might be time to find a new dermatologist with an office that is competent.
