Easily one of the best mochas and bagels here. As a Philly transplant from NY, I can honestly say these are solid bagels. I recommend the everything bagel with bacon cream cheese! The people that work here too make the experience even better because they’re always so nice and friendly. One of my favorite coffee shops!

Great coffee from maiden roasters which isnt in every shop in Philly!Awesome treats and always stocked on beignets. Above all amazing staff and service.Love to pop by here or spend a couple hours getting some work done.Usually here for the coffee but needed a tea last week and it was the best green tea Ive ever had.Incredible addition to Germantown Ave and Mount Airy.

It is most enriching when you come across a coffee house that is not shy about trying out bold flavors. The notes and flavor of their brew is spot-on. The coffee shop itself is very beautiful and cosy. The baristas are a joy to interact with and are very conversant and easy. All in all it was a delightful experience.

Cute cafe with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathroom. Excellent music to vibe to. I had a London Fog and a plain bagel with their bacon horseradish cream cheese. My husband had an oat milk chai latte and a lox bagel. We enjoyed our selections! It was delicious!

The honey ginger tea is one of the best teas I had, honestly. It was full of flavor and great with lemon slices. I paired it with an everything bagel with cream cheese which was also very fresh.The interior is airy and bright. Clean and minimalistic. Just when I thought I already had a favorite Mt. Airy coffee shop/ cafe, Adelie opens! My loyalties are now divided!

Came here on a rainy day. It was cozy due to the size of the cafe. It’s a lot smaller than one would expect. The coffee menu is pretty standard, which isn’t a bad thing. Wish they had pour overs though...Had a mocha. Tasted like a pretty standard mocha. But the environment is good for studying. Solid WiFi. However, their tables are too small to place a lot of stuff. Overall, a pretty good find!

Have only been a handful of times but the coffee is consistently really good. And the cold brew is great, drinkable black, which a lot of places for whatever reason cant quite nail. Happy theyve opened back up and Ive got a nice spot close to me now!Edit: Bagels are top notch. Best Ive had outside Montreal.

My wife and I have found Adelie to be our new morning Coffee and Bagel spot in town. Great atmosphere, and nice to see people stopping for a little cafe & wifi screen time before starting the daily grind at the office. I will be looking out for a new hotter cream cheese challenge guys! Stay frothy everyone!

Absolutely the best latte! Its like being transported to Italy! One sip and youre sitting with the old timers on a sunny day in a piazza watching pigeons fight over breadcrumbs. They also have fantastic bagels and delicious pastries. The everything bagel is mmmmm...well, everything, everything a bagel should be. And theres a terrific assortment of teas in complex and delicate flavors.

Beautiful. What a charming cafe. Clean, simple, and inviting. I could spend all day here. I ordered a latte and a salt bagel with bacon & horseradish cream cheese. So fresh, so delicious. I could just go on and on. This is my new go-to spot. Thank the coffee gods. I love you, Adelie.

Shop is super cute and has some real strong New York coffee shop vibes. Service was very efficient and friendly despite the massive crowd there for their opening. My fiancee’s latte was great and my mocha was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely feels like a new neighborhood staple!

Cool vibe inside, but nothing that makes it stand out. Prices are high and the drinks were okay. (The cappuccino is essentially a small latte. No foam. Whatever, but if coffee is your thing, do your thing well! I don’t want to be rude, just honest.) It seems that the focus of this coffee shop is to be a hip, trendy coffee shop, not necessarily to serve the best coffee. This place also lacks the appeal to the diversity of this neighborhood (age, race, socioeconomic status). Not that it’s the most important thing about a coffee shop—but it just doesn’t have that community connection, in my humble opinion. Dropping the prices a bit, focusing on the product, and making the space feel a bit more down to earth (and less uppity—so sorry I’m using that word) will make this coffee shop stand out to the people in this neighborhood who live on the surrounding streets.

Excellent coffee and pastries. The second time I went I had a bagel with lox and cream cheese absolutely delicious the bagel taste like it came from New York the ones I’m used to. Highly recommend.

Beautiful decor, natural light and energy from this coffee shop! The staff are so welcoming, service is quick & it all tastes amazing! Coffee, macchiato and bagel with cream cheese/salmon were all prepared perfectly. Highly recommend checking out this new gem in Mt Airy.

Beautiful cozy space with great light, nicely curated reading material and super friendly and welcoming baristas. Cheese and ham croissants are delicious. Adelie deserves to be the sweet spot if you are in the area for somewhere to hang, read, meet friends and get to know your neighbors. AND its next to the best ice cream joint in Philly (Zsas)...fingers crossed for a coffee float collaboration between these guys at some point... Kids had a ball hanging out. Well definitely put this on our weekend cafe rotation!

This is by far the best coffee in the neighborhood. They have specialty coffee and great pastries (including bagels imported from NYC!). Plus its PoC owned.
