My husbands glasses broke and he doesnt have a second pair. To top it off we just relocated to IN from NE, so we had not purchased the glasses here. I have bifocal contacts but needed glasses inbetween and when Im tired of putting them in. Betty at the Plainfield 46168 store helped me greatly. She was great with my needs and worked well with her coworker who suggested 2 pairs for my prescription working in front of a screen for long hours.

Always busy.. usually a wait. If you can avoid Lesa at the front desk it will make your visit much more pleasant.

Made me feel homeless, had to wait 10 minutes before the insurance lady could get off the phone and finally tell me they couldn’t take my insurance and tried to offer a voucher thank you for wasting my time.

I called to scheduled an exam and was able to get in the same day. Danielle was really helpful about figuring out my insurance benefits. All the staff I spoke to was really professional and kind. Im hooked.

I made an appointment weeks ago, so my boyfriend could get new glasses. He hasn’t gotten glasses from them for a few years and his were in bad shape. Came in for my appointment and the staff off the bat was rude. He has a medical condition so he can’t wear a mask, and they forced him to wear one. On top of that they told me they couldn’t see him even though we had an appointment, and had the email confirmation and everything. They didn’t care. Called the manger and told her what happened. She was just as rude and didn’t do anything to make it better. I will not ever be back and I will be taking my business else where.

Alexis was extremely helpful!!! She was able to squeeze us in very quickly after my daughter accidentally broke her glasses and couldn’t see. I can’t thank Alexis enough!!!!

Outstanding customer service by General Manager Ashley! I needed to get my dad glasses, but he lives in a nursing facility and is not allowed to leave due to covid. Ashley went out of her way to go to his facility to measure and fit his new glasses. I couldnt believe someone would do this for me and him. Thinks to her, he was finally able to see better. Definitely will go back next time I need glasses.

Took my son for an exam at the Plainfield location. He was complaining of having blurred vision. Some girl named Amanda helped us and was rude implying that my son was “faking” after checking his eyes. Her response to me was “you can fake the doctors but you can’t fake the machines”. The doc sent my son out of the exam room to teach me some “psychology lessons” on how I need to approach my son about his vision. I didn’t appreciate the customer service. I will not be returning.

Really seriously? Called yesterday to check about getting my glasses fixed. It rang several times before someone answered. Then was told they were too busy to answer my questions about my glasses, took my information and they call me back. Well that was around 2pm. No phone call. I tried to call again and get an automatic voicemail mail saying that they are closed at 1pm, but office hours are 9am-7pm. Very unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful.

I have vsp and still go there cause of the service and the strudiness of the glasses and vsp dont have them in there network

Great customer service as usual. The eye Dr. was very nice and personable. My only complaint would be, it would have been nice to know that the free exam with purchase was no longer valid. For years this was the deal, but I guess Covid hit them hard too.

Same day glasses!! Wow! We were so impressed. Super friendly staff. Amazing doctors (ophthalmologists). They have so many choices in frames. I only wish we had found out about Eyeglass World sooner. 2 pairs of glasses for $78 is such a great deal. We definitely recommend Eyeglass World!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this location!!! I was in a bind and needed to get a pair of glasses for my daughter. The staff helped direct me to the “2 for $78” deal, got everything put together, and I was out the door with the two pairs in under 40 minutes. I am extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Their exam was thorough and she took her time and double checked my prescriptions. She found my reading glasses were too strong for me. I will be a return customer.

IThe only thing I would like to see is clear pricing. Like tell tell the difference between plastic and carbon lens are in price and style before ordering. But all in all a good experience.

I am on-top-of-the-world pleased with the quality and service of my WALK-IN appointment today. I went to schedule online beforehand and saw a bunch of time openings. So I went up to the location. Minutes of walking in, I was greeted with smiles and told he was going to ask the optometrist to see me before taking off for her lunch break. She agreed, I went straight back. It took no time at all and they seemed genuinely caring about my needs while taking me through the brisk process. After testing, I was able to roam...find my pairs and was further happily assisted at my own pace. After choosing and paying, they quoted me a three hour wait for pick-up. They called an hour early and I was wearing them before work this evening. No adjustments needed and prescription is SPOT ON perfect. I can’t say thank you enough and I would recommend this process to anyone! Painless, perfect experience!

Love going here! The staff are super helpful and friendly! The doctor is knowledgeable and very quick; to the point. They get you in and out of there. A extra thank you to the employee (Amanda I think) who helped me learn how to use contacts today; it was a struggle! So, thank you for being patient and helpful!

Poor quality care and customer service. When I picked up my glasses, one of the lenses had no prescription applied to the lens. When being fitted for contacts the doctor didn’t listen when I told her 3 times I couldn’t see. She told me I needed to give them a few days. But driving later that night was scary as I could not see the road or street signs. Had to go back the next day to ask for a different contact fit. Doctor also indicated I was developing a cataract, but didnt provide me with any information about what I should be aware of or expect. I asked to see another doctor to help me with fitting my contacts after talking to my insurance company (who asked me to give them another chance). Multiple attempts tweaking contact prescription were made but each failed (they even stopped checking with me by phone to see how the new contact fits were working). When I later asked for a refund for the contacts, I was left sitting at an empty desk while staff helped other customers who came in after me. I’ve worn contacts for years and never had such a difficult time finding a good fit. I’m disappointed by their lack of care and concern. Won’t ever return. Definitely won’t recommend the Plainfield store to anyone!

I had a great experience here earlier today! Kayla and Nick were very friendly, and helpful! I booked a last minute appointment for an exam, and new glasses and they got me right in and took great care of me. I got 2 pairs of glasses, and the exam for under $150, and now I only have to wait a few hours before my glasses are ready. Awesome experience, and a great value! Thank you!

Store was clean . Employees sanitized . Eyeglasses Are taking longer than I hoped for . They said the 8th and when I called I was told they are still at a off-site lab . It has been seven days since I ordered them.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is a NIGHTMARE. I recently went for a FOLLOW UP appointment, my appointment time was 10:20am, so I arrived at 10:15. There was no paperwork to fill out because it was just a follow up so I checked in and sat down in the PACKED waiting room. Long story short I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes for the doctor to not even look at my eyes but to simply sign off on a different prescription of contacts. It took her a total of 15 seconds to read my notes and sign off on the prescription. I will NOT be returning and do not recommend anyone to go to this location. Absolutely awful.

So I had booked an appointment a week or so ago for Saturday at 12:30. Got stuck in traffic and at 12:31 I get an email that stated I had missed my appointment and needed to reschedule. 2 minutes later I pull in the lot and go inside, only to be told I cancelled your appointment because you are late, you will have to come back at 3:15! Really?? Obviously they have no idea the meaning of customer service! We have always purchased our glasses and contacts but no more, they must think they are the only place in town. I admit I was late but really! There used to be a manger with red hair(sorry I do not know his name) now he understood what customer service is.

I had a great experience at this store! The whole process from the time I was greeted until I walked out of the door with two pair of glasses was less than an hour total and that was with an eye exam as well. The service was great and I cant say enough about the staff. The woman doctor that seen me was a little unpersonable but wasnt rude at all and the rest of the staff was really friendly and on top of their game. I would like to say though that the main reason I really had a great experience and the reason I would recommend this place to everyone is because of Nesha, she was great and friendly and you can tell she is a awesome person and wants to help people in anyway she can!

While most of the workers were very nice, their costumer service has to be the worst I have ever experienced. The girl who was helping me order my glasses was new and unsure what she was doing, and the man who was the manager there was not helpful at all. The glasses that I ordered had to be sent away and he didnt tell her that. It took two weeks of calling for them to even figure out that is was ordered wrong. They told me that they would put my glasses on rush order, and still almost 1 1/2 weeks later they still dont have them. Next year I will not be coming back.

We had a scheduled appointment for myself and my husband on a Saturday afternoon. First issue was how rude the eye doctor was with us. Very short and interrupting us while we try to talk during our appointments and explain our problems with our vision. If we asked a question she was very short and rude back. I finally walked away while she was with my husband due to her rude attitude. We finally got help with our glasses and contacts purchase but this process took quite a long time to get through. They were under staffed and we were there a total of 3 hours. We havent had this problem at a previous location in the past, we will most likely go back to another location in the future. Even though the front office staff was under staffed that day they were very pleasant.

If I hear one more commercial about how much they care about their clients. Went only to prove to someone that I only needed readers to see small print. However Dr at eye glass world told me I needed bifocals! I can see fine far away! Dr convinced me that my eyes were worse then I thought. Upon picking up my glasses I told them sunglasses fine but others everything seemed too magnafied and I couldnt see far away. Was told it was due to having glasses for first time and I needed to give them time called a few days later and complained of headaches. Ive had headaches ever since injury but they were really bad now Was told I needed to wear all day. By doing that headaches were worse so obviously my headaches had little to do with my injury . Called yet again they set me up to recheck my eyes. Exam result was same as before. I asked why my sunglasses were fine as a matter of fact the script was so low that no one who tried them on could even tell that they werent just regular sunglasses. Needless to say sometime later I was able to go get eyes examined else where. I had to wait for my disability to go through. Was told that the script didnt match the lens! I called eye glass world to report this and get corporate phone number.They also told me just to stop wearing my eyes would adjust and if readers were all I needed I shouldve stayed with them. It was my choice to get glasses I tried repeatedly with no response from corporate. Then I find out the number they had given me wasnt even corporate! So I call them yet again. This time iam tried of being nice. Didnt help that the manager tells me I didnt even get an exam there! Tried to say I just got glasses only. So obviously was taken out system. But what a dumb move THE SCRIPT DIDNT MATCH LENS. SO REMOVING EXAM DOESNT MAKE IT OK! I described both drs so I was offered a 10% discount Smh how the heck does that help,? I HATE wearing glasses! Told them I couldnt believe how careless they are and their lack of any attempt to make this right was enough to make me never return. They need to worry about the eye sight of ever person that walks through their door instead of commission check. She told me they do t work on commision. Another lie! So if you value your eyes dont go there!

The lady doctor comes off a bit rude and unfriendly (both times we visited) but other than that, We love this place. The staff is super nice, great prices, quick turnaround, and great selection.

I would think twice before going here because I had a prescription from Eyeglass World and took it to another optometrist and I was told that I did not need glasses. Unfortunately, that was after I had already spent $400 with Eyeglass World on lenses frames and transition lenses. Once I contacted them after I found this out, Eyeglass World was not willing to even give me part of my money back. Buyer beware.
