I dont normally wear glasses, and I dont have a prescription. I do, however, have vision insurance. So what do you do? You get blue-light filtering glasses! The staff here are very knowledgeable about glasses and deals around the store. Having not utilized anything in the vision world for many years of my life, it was nice to have someone explain things to me. The frames are nice and (seems to be) competitively priced. The only thing Id like to see (pun intended) different are cheaper options for Z87+ safety glasses. The thing Id really like are a nice pair of safety sunglasses, but not have to spend an arm and a leg on them.

A part on sunglasses purchased a month ago broke during a drive from Texas. We stopped at this store near our motel. They replaced the arms at no charge. We’ve patronized LensCrafters for decades and exceptional service like this is why.

Was greeted at Lens Crafters by very friendly and helpful staff. Dr Hudak was also very friendly and professional. Received a thorough eye exam and answers to all my questions. Left with samples of 2 types of contracts. One new lens that I loved. Just had to call back to get ordered. The office handled my insurance and rebates and will mail contacts to my home. So easy!
My entire family comes to the Plainfield LensCrafters! We always schedule our appointments when Hugh is available. We’ve been working with him for years because his knowledge is extensive. A couple of years ago Hugh introduced me to the Varilux lens and I’ve worn nothing else since. Hands down the best lens I’ve purchased! I just picked up my newest glasses and they are perfect! While they are not cheap, you can’t expect them to be as they are a high end store. Prices are fair for what is offered. Lady that helped me out was very informative and as a biomedical engineering student she went above and beyond to explain some of the machinery and how it worked. I had previous experience working in optics, and even I was impressed with the staffs customer service and knowledge. Dr H was incredible. Very informative and thorough in his examination. Their equipment is state of the art. They were also very open and honest on what frames looked good on me and what didn’t, which is extremely valuable. If you want a high end experience, and don’t mind paying a slightly higher price, come to LensCrafters in Plainfield. This store definitely created a forever customer.
I visited Lens Crafters in Plainfield, IN. It was my first visit to any Lens Crafters store. I found the entire experience to be very pleasant. The staff was both personal and professional. I would definitely recommend this location!

Rachel is the best! Always nice and demonstrates wonderful customer service. Saw Dr. Hudak for my exam and he was great! He asked a lot of question, explained mydiagnosis. This was the most through exam I have ever been given before. I was going to stop going to LensCrafters a couple years ago but decided to stay after the wonderful customer service that Rachel gave last year. Came back this year and it was even better experience.
So I bought myself a new pair of glasses here about 2 or 3 months ago. No problems back then.. The problem is that maybe a month or 2 after buying them I noticed an issue on one of the lenses. To me it just seemed like a smudge that I couldnt clean off. Well, with covid life has been busy and difficult so Im just now making it in to have them look at the issue. One quick look and im told that its the coating for the transitions coming up. Now Ill admit that I didnt get the protection plan, fine. Ill pay to get them fixed. I dont care about that. What bothers me is that I was told I likely got something on the lense to cause this. Also fine and possible but the list I was given wasnt oil, grease, harsh chemicals. WHICH EVERY OTHER PAIR IVE EVER HAD HAS HANDLED FINE. Nope, first thing they said was maybe some ORANGE JUICE or something like that. Oh, so every other pair Ive bought has gone through hell but these guys have so little faith in their product that theyll tell me that lenses cant handle orange juice. I would hate for anyone with kids to buy glasses from here if something that simple will ruin a pair. Going somewhere with a product that can handle life in the future. Ive had good experiences in the past but I cant be buying glasses that cant handle basic life
Seamless experience from start to finish. Randall was awesome to work with and took good care of me. Got new lenses in an existing set of frames that only took about 45 minutes. Ordered a new pair of Oakley’s, was quoted 10 days and they were ready in 5. Everyone was professional and very easy to work with.

Well I’m currently waiting on contacts that I ordered over 8 weeks ago and was supposed to be at my front door in 7 days. As of today June 11, 2018 they’ve been ordered a 3rd time now. I’m losing my patience. Randall has taken care of me the last two times and today I told him I’m really getting frustrated and I’m about to lose my temper (as I laughed but told him I’m extremely serious). I said most patients would have already been nasty but I’m giving them this last time to make things right. He agreed and said he didn’t blame me that this is ridiculous. Maybe the company who makes these contact lenses should be put in their place. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location. I love my doctors and the staff has always been wonderful. I’ve sent this place a lot of business. But the service they are being provided by Pure Vision is not acceptable and leaving this customer dissatisfied!! 🤬😡

Eye doctors were great. As an eye care specialist I was constantly learning in order to be able to perform my work. I wish I knew about Uber but part time hours made it difficult to arrange for dependable transportation because of gas cost.

Plainfield Indiana Lenscrafters: Selection of frames are low and boring. Store will not order a desired frame even though they carry the brand I want. Frame I want is a Vogue 2019 current frame that is available from manufacturer. The store carries other Vogue 2019 frames but does not have the one I want. Lab is extremely limited. Takes 10 days to get glasses even though there is an in house lab because the lab never has my prescription lenses in their inventory. Lenscrafters said there is no way to expedite or even check the status of my order. My glasses are cracked and I would have paid extra to have them quickly. The level of customer has decreased but prices have not decreased. This will probably be my last purchase at this store.
Office staff here are inept and condescending. I have given this place multiple chances because I love Dr. Hubbard. I have 4 pairs of Ray Bans that I cannot even use. Multiple mistakes on adding transition and then lens defects. Every time I come here its another issue that is due to their inadequacies.The office staff has absolutely no customer service skills.
Very knowledgable staff.. Glasses in 1 hour??? Forget it. I was told it could be 10 days. I went there for the same day promise. Never again...
Lab manager is condescending and rude. She maliciously skips applying safety bevels to lenses of customers she dislikes. Her machines are always down and as mentioned before forget about getting your glasses in an hour. She refers to some patients as googly eyed and constantly expresses that customers as insane. Contstantly calling her employees dumb or stupid and has no issue yelling at employees in front of customers. Store manager is the polar opposite and very sweet and kind as well as helpful and caring. Avoid this location like the plague unless youd prefer to lose your eye from a sharp lens all because someones husband or kids pissed her off.

Extremely rude, condescending staff, especially the guy with cokebottle glasses who carries a ridiculous full-sized tablet on his hip in a holster. Dr. Hubbard is very unpleasant. The only staff member here with any sense is Dr. Hasselbrinck.
Their machine breaks every weekend. My glasses were scratched before I even received them, so I had to order a replacement pair. The weekend I got my glasses their machine was down (Saturday) and this week, the replacement lenses came in on Wednesday, waited until Saturday to pick them up to find their machine had broken again.
