Andy was great to chat with. He was helpful in helping me choose some great books for my kids and even found a Korean cooking book that has some great recipes. The selection is pretty extensive and overall it was a great environment. I would visit again.

Awesome place! Collectables, graphic novels, comics, and poster. You can get seriously lost (in a good way) at this place. No parking really on site was kinda the only bummer. All I have to say is that Ill be back soon. So much fun!

What an awesome comic book shop! There are so many comics of all kinds, a nice selection of manga, and even a decent selection for kids!COVID info as of March 2021:Hand sanitizer is right at the entrance, masks required, and they limit the amount of people inside at a time.

We love this place. Its not infinite but the selection is impressive, and the curation is fantastic.

Although I cant speak as a hardcore collector, They have a large selection of new comics, a Large room of back issues and extensive shelves of comic collections. Always friendly and helpful in a fun, spacious environment.

From manga to graphic novels to comics new and old this is a great place to visit and hopefully find that particular comic or book youre looking for. The staff is super friendly and super super helpful. Im the star is really clean and they do a good job following covid safety protocols. After you grab your comic your graphic novel you can head down a couple of doors at the bakery or the chocolate shop so its an all-around great place to visit. They have a very good website for seeing whats in stock and purchasing online as well

I like this place. They have tons of comics and I tend to get all my new comics at this place and Comic Adventures. The prices are always good here and I love going threw their stock. I have only 1 problem with this store.. They need more toys! They have a lot as it is but it marked a little high and they are older ones. Get some more minimates! Everywhere I go has stopped selling them haha.

Absolutely my favorite comic book shop in Portland. They simply have such a large selection of graphic novels and comics that it’s hard not to go here when I want to find something new to read. Plus they have one of the best manga collections available for sale in Portland. The man who organizes the manga section is great. If you get the opportunity to come in while he’s there ask for a recommendation. He’s bound to find you something that’ll be your new favorite.p.s. for my manga lovers out there try “Blade of the Immortal” it’s what I was recommended and it’s superb.

They have so many great new issues and back issues of comics and graphic novels... I even found 5 issues from my favorite writer from 20 years ago!

Cool comic book and book store. They have a surprisingly good selection to choose from. My daughter couldnt find some anime books she wanted anywhere, but they had them here!

One guy was super nice and friendly. The other guy tried to shut the door in my face, during business ours, when I came to pick up my prepaid order, saying payments were down. I had cash and wanted another Garfield comic.... went somewhere else, I can go to work or turn on the news if I want to get treated like sh!t. this was really unprofessional and a major bummer because I want to support local comic shops and businesses.

My most favorite comic book store. Great staff, great selection, friendly. Horrible parking thought. Hardy ever any street be parking usually be have to walk half a mile or so. Be prepared for that me I y and go on the weekend. Less traffic is always good.

Very cool Comic shop. Large selection of old comics in the back room. Small upstairs section. Many shelves of new comics up front. Lots of other books and items as well. Some figures but not many. Staff was super friendly. Parking can prove to be rather difficult as street parking is limited. I parked in the neighborhood behind the shop and walked down the hill/street to the place.I will come back here for sure.

Absolutely love this place. Great selection of currents, back issues and graphic novels. Also a used kids book section with hidden gems. Friendly and helpful staff. Couldnt ask for more! Parking is street only so can be a little challenging at times but worth the effort.

This pandemic has made me introspective. Thinking about the businesses I miss ~ immediately thought of CM. My regret was that I didnt go more often pre-pandemic. Great for all ages, kid friendly upstairs (not having to worry about shielding eyes like at other comic books stores, heh). Pleasant owner.

Very nice selection in comics, graphic novels and related merchandise. Person behind counter was polite and knowledgeable. My sister in law suggested this pace for my wife and me for part of out date night. After getting a couple books we went next door to the coffee shop. Very nice location and easy to find street parking near buy.

My nephew was visiting and out of all the comic stores we went to he liked this one the best. The store is bigger than it looks, and they have a great selection. Will definitely come back.

My first time at this comic shop. Initial reason was for a promotional event for Rose City Comic Con.The staff were very happy to assist, even identified I had a question, stopped what he doing specifically to help me. Not a lot of smaller shops employees are that attentive.Overall, the shop has a great selection of comics and posters. Alsoboffer a variety of other collectibles, some MTG cards, action figures. On the walls it appeared to be some customized artwork. I did not ask about it, but the ones I saw, were great quality, and even signed!There was a balcony area designed for small children, included art station, kids books, spot for parents to sit, even a kids size replica of the captains chair from Star Trek!!!.Great place overall, they thought of caring for the true collectors. Even ones we ith a family. I have never seen a comic shop so well put together. Very impressed.

The comics were in character order, so it through me to find Action Comics in the S section but once I figured that out it was easy to find everything else. The place is nice and has well priced comics.The thing I loved about this place was the boxes of back issues were not filled to capacity making it easy to flip through the comics. Not something Ive seen at most comic book stores Ive gone to.

Large selection of sleeved comics on the cheap, and one of the best collections of European (and a few French Canadian) comics and graphic novels. Also a fantastic, small kids section with an easel, table, games and stuffed animals upstairs. Very nice posters for sale too at a reasonable price (i.e. comparable to Amazon.) The guys who work here are kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Always an enjoyable experience!!

What else can I say that hasnt already been said? Well awesome selection of trades here if you are looking to get into a series that has been out of awhile. Great selection of new comics as well.I hadnt been in to comics since I was a kid and the guys in the shop were super friendly and helpful. They suggested some great series and found me stuff that fit my interests when I was looking for something new. I started off going here just to get The Walking Dead and now I have a subscription box with multiple series.

Went in with my daughter to purchase her first comic. I inquired about comics that were appropriate for a 6 year old and was directed to the childrens section; They staff even made some recommendations. Everything appeared to be well organized and the staff was very friendly. Also, it seems like they have an extensive collection of comics, toys, posters, pins, stickers, and graphic novels. Their discount section is pretty incredible, so give it a looksie. Overall, my daughter and I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Cosmic Monkey for your comic book needs.

The place was pretty good. They had a large selection, but I was a little confused at the layout at first. I wish the employee had more of a discussion with me, because I feel that comics is all about the conversation. In my opinion this is especially true if you want to sell more comics. They had a great selection of collectibles, but nothing caught my eye.

As a huge comic book fan, this place is awesome. I would call this by far my favorite LCS. They always have the newest issues even when others are sold out. They also have a great backroom with tons of back-issue comics to choose form.

I gave yet to look for a trade and find a volume missing.It is also conveniently located next door to a coffee shop, so you can walk over there and read your new treasure!
