This place is amazing! A friend and I were driving around, got lost and eventually my friend recognized the part of town we were in and asked if I wanted to check out a comic shop. I just started getting back into comics, so of course I said yes. We went downstairs and I just stood and looked around the place for a minute, stunned. I didnt know where to start! The owner was super nice and made small talk with us while we went through the merchandise. I parked in 1 hour parking, but learned my lesson to plan much more than an hour in there! My friend bought a bunch of comics, and he made a comment about some Elektra figurines he wished he could get. The owner heard him saying this, and gave him a hand drawing by an artist who was a guest on the webshow the night prior for free!The day we were there, the whole shop was 50 percent off, so I spent a little more money than I probably should have, haha.I planned on going back after payday, so I wrote my buddy in Longview, WA and told him about this place, and now hes coming to check it out on Saturday. I, however, will likely be back many many times.You seriously cant beat the prices on the multitude of cool comics they have there.

This place is so cool! There are so many great comics, and the owner collects and trades in entire comic series. He also cleans and presses comic books as a service. He was a really nice guy and I fully plan on spending a lot of money there.

One of the most unique experiences as a comic book collector because it actually feels like a fallout shelter!Don’t be intimated by having to ring the doorbell or go down to the basement to get to back issue heaven! Comics are somewhat organized by .50, $1, $3, and $5. They also have a large number of completed sets that would make any avid collector drool.The owner, Richard, is super friendly and is the type of guy you want to support and succeed. I heard he has a grand official opening weekend so be sure to go and support- you might even get some half off deals.Half the fun is finding some golden gems here. I can’t say it’s organized since I saw the same issues in the 1 dollar bin as I did the 5 dollar bins, but again did I mention how satisfying it was to find a back issue my son was looking for when you do find it?Ask richard about the school and teacher program. Wish my LCS had this program....!!!Keep it up and congrats, Richard!

They need to fix there location and other stuff just go to a different comic book shop

Comic book stores are like snowflakes. No two are alike. Plus, some people just dont like the cold and snow. This store may not be for everyone, but it is definitely for me. The owner is very helpful and has a true passion for comics. His inventory has grown immensely over the past two years. I was there for a full hour, and I feel like I barely even scratched the surface in terms of looking at what was for sale. I left with a stack of 16 comics, and the total cost was only $8! I could have easily have spent that much for 2 new comics at a different store. If I had found these same 16 back issues from my favorite online retailer, the cost would have been at least $40. And it gets better, he gave me a coupon for 3 free comics on my next visit. I will be back this weekend!

Best location ever to get a great deal on great comics. If I could go every weekend I would. We drove 2.5 hours to get here and it was worth every second. Youll definitely lose track of time going thru their selection! The guy who runs this place was absolutely awesome and very helpful. We will be back for sure!

Fantastic selection of comic books at great prices. Loads of complete sets too. Well worth a visit - youre bound to pick up a hidden gem or two. While visiting we also had a good chat with the friednly owner, Richard, who gave us lots of great recommendations for our US road trip. Highly recommended.

What an incredible place. Just the nicest guy and you can tell he is passionate about comics and memorabilia. Great with kids and really made my 12-year-old son feel really comfortable. We know next to nothing about the niche and will be back to learn more and buy more comics. My son is going crazy over the comics he bought today.

I was visiting Portland (coming from Barcelona) and I was looking for a comic store, found Fallout Comics thanks to Google maps, what an amazing place, I could spend a whole day browsing the boxes which are filled with hidden treasures.Fair prices for used comics, plenty of single issues and full sets. Nice and helpful staff, suuuper kind! Im definitively coming back next time Im in Portland!

Whats not to like about Fallout Comics. The best prices on old school titles and new school titles ad well. The owner is always looking to bring you back so he gives you the best deals out there. Its so much to see and go through. You will be surprised at some of the title he has, if you looking for those rare titles or missing comics, most likely, he has it.

Getting in is a cool experience. You enter a historic looking building and traverse down to the basement. Where a nice gentleman with character kindly greets you. Inside you find dozens of aesthetic vintage comics for great prices.A fun activity for hanging with friends. A treasure for serious comic collectors.

Lovely place to find a set of comics youve been looking for. Great prices, friendly staff, and just an easy place to shop. Some comic book shops dont have an intuitive organization or bins are difficult to navigate- not here. I was breezing through, finding some of my favorite comics in a flash! Will be back soon!

Very hard to find but maybe that is the point. Good things should be hard to find. This comic shop is in the basement of a building. When you get step down there, there may be a moment when you suspect that you may be murder, dont worry you probably wont be. The owner seems like a very nice guy and his comic collection is astonishing!

Thee best comic book shop because of how well its organized. You can find books in their complete series. From prices range or by rarity. So easy to find what your looking for. He also has rare toys, rare paperbacks, and a big 50cent collection.

Amazing selection of back issues at Fallout Comics. Wasnt able to find what I came in for, but found some other gems including a complete run of Marvels magazine-sized Destroyer comics. There are many, many boxes of back issues to peruse, ostensibly alphabetized but some searching required. Some glorious finds in their collection!

This comic shop has amazing deals and an extensive selection. Long white cardboard boxes as far as the eye can see give you the opportunity to dig for discoveries, the way comic shopping was always meant to be. Plus, you have to get buzzed in to the building which adds an air of exclusivity.
