Usually RiteAid pharmacy is pretty organized and timely. This time I had a vaccination appointment that I had to book and wait for 10 days. On the day of appointment after standing in the queue for 20 min the pharmacist, Ari confirmed my appointment and said they ran out of flu shots a day before. She said she missed communicating as she was busy in an unapologetic tone. A text message that would take 2 min took an hour from my schedule.
Went to get my COVID booster - having made an appointment more than a week prior. Arrived and was informed they didn’t have any and haven’t for some time - asked why I was able to make an appointment and why I wasn’t called to be informed - the pharmacist, tersely said “we gave up on trying to call people”I get running out of medicine and having to like, change plans - but I am now less safe from COVID-19 and could have easily rectified this at any number of other locations locally if I had been informed at any point prior to literally walking in.
Wish I could give less than 1 star. Taking my pharmacy needs somewhere else. Every single time I call them to refill a prescription, I call over 17 times and I never get an answer. I have to call another part of the store to get them to page the pharmacy to pick up the phone. How the hell am I supposed to get my medication if you won’t answer the phone? I understand being busy, believe me, but just pick up the phone and tell me that its going to be a few minutes. I shouldn’t have to waste 20 minutes just CALLING trying to get ahold of someone, anyone. As I am writing this review, I have called the store 8 times, called another part of the store to ask the to answer the phone, and I have been on hold with the pharmacy for 13 minutes without speaking to anyone. Terrible customer service, what if this was a life threatening emergency?
Pharmacy closed during posted Open Hours. They have numerous stores with staff, why close one? They could have advised those of us with pending pick-ups. They send plenty of other emails. It is more then inconvenient for some of us to get there. Obviously, not dependable or customer focused .
I moved all my prescriptions from Target cvsPharmacy To Rite aid bear creek redmond pharmacy. They are always very helpful, in particular Ayman, Margaret and their staff go out of their way to help and accommodate customers’ needs. Thank you.

This Rite Aid has a lot of good deals! I always find what I need there. The pharmacy is really nice too! I have been getting my prescriptions there for years! The pharmacy manager is really knowledgeable! I got medications for my dog there and he was able to tell me everything I should watch out for even though he isnt a Vet!

Never had problems here, use the pharmacy, they are consistent, reliable and convinant.The few times gone shopping they are low on people working cash register but never have had problems work people who work there.Definitely advise signing up with the card cause the store can be expensive without rude aid card.Never have had any problems with what they have in sure .

Pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy so this is a review for that department only. Fast drop off and pickup, same day in the majority of instances. They have not tried to sell my anything and they are always cheerful.

So sad! Rite Aid on Bainbridge Island, WA was ranked one the most successful in the nation. The store was immaculate, customer service was personalized and the products were amazing. The bathroom was even beautiful, yes, clean, floral and welcoming.REDMOND WA location on Redmond Way is unbelievably disgusting. The help is usually unavailable, or new. I am not sure who the manager is and the bathroom is below the lowest standards. They even have a KEY to get in. What! I promised you DO NOT want to use! No seat covers, no toilet paper, mold everywhere and the smell is indescribable.I must compliment the pharmacy, however! I do not know why the professionals in the pharmacy stay there. The pharmacy team is professional, knowledgeable and personable. Let the pharmacy run the store! Unfortunately, I dont think they can keep their staff either. Sad!I traveled to the Issaquah/Sammamish, WA Rite Aid. What a difference! Beautiful, professional and welcoming.
I went into the store with my friend after school today, and I was greeted by an employee who followed my friend and I around the store constantly for 10 minutes because he thought we were going to steal. We had backpacks on because it was after school and cars get broken into out there so we went in with them. Once we confronted him about following us he denied it, but continued to do it. After we got outside The worker followed us out and took a picture of my license plate, then got on a phone call with who I imagine was the police. The fact that this person followed me around and took pictures of my car did not make me feel safe, and I felt very uncomfortable. For anyone going to the store it was an Indian employee who was probably 6 ft tall. I am never going to that terrible store again.
Adequate drug store. About as generic as it gets. All the services youd expect, but not as personal or friendly as someplace like Bartells. Also, a really lousy toy section. :)
People are still great but Management aka Dave cannot seem to figure out he should keep my brands stocked. After about a year of shopping for the exact same cigarettes, etc, it seems like its not too much to ask to not have to wait weeks and even months for the truck to bring it. Taking my business elsewhere.
Store always seems grimy, and the staff just dont seem to care about giving quality service. We used to take our RXs here, then transferred them after several bad experiences. We wont subsidize this behavior with our business.

Rite Aid has my business, but that doesnt mean I trust them or like them. I always double check my families Rxs to make sure they are correct. Have had a random large purple pill sitting in my bottle of white capsules, theyve lost hard copies and then found days later (the most frustrating), lazy staff has told me they left something that would of taken 2 secs for the next person because they were almost off??? I do have to say there are some really kind pharmacy assistants who do remember my name. Thank you, thats why I come back!
My two little sisters went in the Rite Aid store to get some art supplies and the manager called the cops on them just because they are black. When the cops got there they already knew that the manager was in the wrong. My sister works in the area and the cop knew that, they was embarrassed for coming out there and also ashamed of the manager. And to make it so bad the manager still tried to get them banned from the store! The cops just laughed at him and told my sisters to have a good day. When will people realize that we are all humans who have to share this planet in this vast universe...
Prejudice Manager Dave should be demoted! Me & my wife visited this store 7/15/17 to purchase a cane because i am disabled due to back problems. Canes were priced at $26.99 but he refused to honor that and said only certain canes were $26.99. After arguing with him over the price i told him to just scan it if he did not believe me. He did and the price was $26.99 like i had stated. He then power tripped and walked over to the display of canes and removed the 75% off and told me that now no one including myself would get the discount since i proved him wrong. I dont know if he is prejudice of people of color or if he is just bipolar, He has no business working in customer service, let alone as a manager! This store has lost my business forever and the long term effects of losing good customers is irreversible. I will be contacting Corporate this week to plead my case. Shame on you Rite Aid, looks like your hiring process needs to be overhauled.

I went in to get my prescription and the young girl behind the counter was super rude! I was asking her what the prompts were for on the keypad and she told me to read what it was saying. She didnt even try to help explain it. Very rude and snotty attitude. Will not be returning because my last interaction with them wasnt very good either. Apparently its hard to give good customer service.... sad!
Just moved to the area and stopped in after hitting up Safeway. Its ok content wise. Found some stuff I needed, and even some I didnt as it has more than what your average pharmacy does on the East Coast. Hence the 2 extra stars.Heres why I would have only given it 1 star had I not already stopped in. A couple weeks after stopping in I called the Pharmacy with regards to transferring my prescriptions from my old CVS Pharmacy in PA. I never got to know... Called about 4 times. Three times nobody answered the phone and I got kicked back into the automated menu 2-3 times per call. Final call someone answered and put me on hold... for an hour. I hung up and called another pharmacy.If this is how they treat potential customers I shudder to think what would happen once you do maintain your prescriptions with them. :-(

This is most about the pharmacy. Inevitably, regardless of when I tell them Ill arive to pick up my refills, they are never ready. Today, I called in my prescriptions at 4:28. I was told she was going right to work on them. At 5:14, I got text messages saying my prescriptions were ready. When my husband tried to pick them up at 5:23 (nine minutes after the text messages), he was told they werent ready.On top of this, most of the staff in the pharmacy seems not to care...at all. About anything. Except for the one woman who seems to be support staff who treats you like theres something wrong with you when youre frustrated that your meds arent ready or arent in stock (not that theyd call you and let you know that before you leave the house to pick them up).I get that the requirements associated with pharmacies are complicated and time-consuming. But there is no way it should take an HOUR to fill two commonly dispensed medications.Revision: After a decade, I am having prescriptions moved elsewhere. I have the same prescriptions filled EVERY month and between 60 and 80% of the time, they are out of my COMMON meds. Even though they are supposed to be on auto refill and thus they are supposed to know a month in advance that they will be needed.They regularly tell me that Ill have to wait another 2-5 days for meds that I cannot go without (which they know) or go to another Rite Aid to get the prescription filled (because extra errands are SO easy for disabled people). When I do go to the other Rite Aid, they just sigh heavily and shake their heads because evidently the Redmond Rite Aid pharmacy is well known as being a complete mess within the Rite Aid community. I had one pharmacist at another Rite Aid tell me that that the Redmond pharmacy regularly endangers patients on heart and other maintenance meds because they cannot do what every other pharmacy in town does: keep their stock up.And I have complained to the store manager, the pharmacy staff, disctrict managers, and others. NOTHING ever improves and they dont even have the decency to pretend to be sorry for constantly inconveniencing and endangering their customers. Particularly, the young overweight Asian pharmacy aide is HORRIBLE, is incapable of passing on even the simplest of messages, has created problems it took me days to unravel, and has absolutely zero customer service skills. He needs fired.But then, apparently, so does the entire pharmacy staff.

Dont use this pharmacy. Theyre not organized and after well over a year of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt they always mess up the same way, if you drop off a new prescription youre told itll be ready on Day X by time Y, except it isnt. At least theyre predictable.If its a normal drug they stock then youll wait 15-30 minutes for it. If its a specialty drug youre likely going to wait another 2 days (or more) while they do what they should have in the first place. This happens exactly the same to both myself and my girlfriend. On my last visit when I got irate over it another customer was there waiting because of this as well.The store itself is... old. Bad florescent lighting, dirty floors, strange smell, poorly stocked items, mediocre customer service, etc.Ive stuck with this store for so long because it is very close to where I live but I dont think I can deal with this anymore.
Rudest checkout person I have ever encountered. There was hardly anyone in the store too and it maybe that is why. I bought a gift card and based on the direction at the back of the card I asked her if it was activated. She replied with a very snarky “ ofcourse it is” and then just walked away while handing me the receipt!!
