First, this store bungled my repair order, and had held onto my phone for a full week without making any progress on my repair. Then, once they had sent in my phone for repair, there was still no progress to report after an additional week. Finally, after 3 weeks, i went to the location for an update, and they had completely SHUT DOWN THE LOCATION without informing me. This also happens to be the ONLY location in Washington State. I am left completely in the dark about what to do and they still have my phone. Other locations in other states have no idea what to do and no information for me. One of the most frustrating and insane retail experiences I have ever had. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION

I visited Simply Mac after a failed update to MacOS High Sierra which removed access to all my files. Those are the situations when you realize how dependent you are on your computer. Luckily the guys from Simply Mac did a fantastic job fixing my laptop. It might not be cheap but definitely better than not having a laptop. I am super happy about the job. Thank you Simply Mac for a great service.

Went to the shop in Redmond regarding a MacBook Pro issue. I was very impressed by the customer service immediately on walking in. I had to wait outside a bit with the new Covid rules, but they were appropriately apologetic. Once inside, they quickly diagnosed as a backlight issue covered under a recall. I was there on Wednesday afternoon, and they shipped it off to Apple to fix. It was back in my hands by the following Monday. No charge. Ill be back for all my Mac tech needs. Thanks guys!

If you’re coming for iPhone service, just schedule it at the actual Apple Store and don’t waste your time here. I came here to fix my iPhone and the guy told me there’s nothing they can do and didn’t even touch my phone to check it out. I said never mind, I’ll go to the Apple Store and he said they will say the same and just have me send my phone out for a week for repair. I went to the Apple Store right after Simply Mac and they were so much kinder, took me in right away, looked at my phone and I had a replacement phone within an hour. These associates here don’t have the same level of service or knowledge as the Apple Store even though they are Apple certified, so if you need an iPhone fix I do not recommend.

Went to return my computer charger. Had to wait 30 minutes in line outside when I could see only a couple customers in the store. They really don’t know how to run a business. How about triage your customers needs so that way you can get to them quicker. And maybe have more than one person work at once.

Had a sudden hard drive crash and lost all access to data including a lot of photos not set saved in the cloud. David Owen at Simply Mac was great - he handled my case which had to go offsite to a recovery specialist and back. Great service and successful resolution.

Very unresponsive ...have had my monitor in there for almost a month and no one has called with any sort of update. No one bothers to answer the phone during business hours, neither for sales or service....Very worried they are going out of business and I’ll not even be able to get my very expensive thunderbolt monitor back.

2 experiences at Simply Mac. 1st no issues replacing battery on iPhone.2nd time I’m less than impressed. I specifically inquired about return policy and was told by Andrew S simply if the earbuds didn’t touch my ears I could return them. After opening the package I quickly realized the headphones lacked similar items like adjustable clamp as I was led to believe by sales associate so prepared for return.I asked my friend to return as I’d be traveling and the associate sent him away with attitude refusing to accept the return as the box had been opened.I returned to store to get refusal at least with no attitude and was rejected by store manager that it’s a law they’re unable to accept opened box as return.It’s not a huge cost but you’re inconsistent experience and obnoxious associate will cause me to not return and share my experience to deter others from this business. I don’t appreciate deceit in sales.

I scheduled an appointment through Apple but couldn’t select the day. I tried to change it online and keep getting an error. I can’t see a why to change my appointment through Simply Mac’s website either. I tried to call Simply Mac to change it over the phone but keep getting disconnected (4 times). I tried multiple different options and never got to a live person. I’ll be taking my device elsewhere for repair so I can actually pick a day that works for me.

Excellent service!To my delight, the service technician recognized this issue (a sticky/repeating key on my MacBook Pro, which I thought was due to a small liquid spill) was actually covered under an Apple keyboard fix policy.They made a full repair at no cost to me.Very helpful & convenient!

My wife, Jackie, had the battery on her i-phone 6 explode which caused the case to expand and necessitated the purchase and installation of a new battery and replacement of the protective case. After a frustrating conversation with the Bellevue Apple store which requires an appointment to come in, she took it to Simply Mac and spoke with John who said they could replace the battery with in 24 hours. He did and I also purchased a new protective case and protective glass shield. We purchased our MAC computer earlier from hem and that too was easy. The folks at this MAC store are patient and explain all you need to know before a repair or purchase.

My wife’s Mac Book Pro got infected with malware which cause pop-up’s to constantly pop-up and direct her to scam websites. She called Apple for help, but because her machine was manufactured in 2012, Apple could not help her. Apple did recommend we try a third party Apple repair store. We chose Simply Mac because friends told us they had laptop issues and Simply Mac did great job. We walked in on Thursday night, showed the technician the problem, and were told that they were familiar with the issue. In less than 24 hours we were told the machine was fixed and ready to be picked up for the original price quote.The laptop was totally inoperable due to the constant pop-ups. We were considering getting a new laptop. Simply Mac exceeded our expectations at a fair price and we are extremely happy with the results. We would recommend Simply Mac to anyone who is in need of any Apple product repair.

First off, Sean the district manager sold me on their services. He definitely went above and beyond what I have experienced at the other Apple Stores.. LOL... He spent time with me going over all the details of my purchase and even helped me set up my email, downloaded my software purchases and made sure I was 100% up to speed before walking out of the store and plugging it in at home.Absolutely a seamless purchase. This was truly a plug and play process. Thank you for the time you spent with me!

Whatever you do do not shop at this store! I have shopped from this store Multiple times in the past. It has always been a positive experience until recently. The first very negative experience that I had was one that I didn’t plan on sharing. Basically I had come into the store about 15 minutes before it was closing and I was browsing at the different devices. I was planning to purchase a computer but the store representative had asked me Multiple times if there was anything I needed because they were closing soon and they needed me to leave. I told him that I was browsing and I asked him is that OK. His reply was, “not really because we are about to close and we would need you to leave the store.”The second negative experience happen today when I simply called in for information about upgrading an old computer that I had so that my son could play on it. My questions were in regards to updating the ram and whether or not the computer could support the latest Mac operating system. His reply in a smug tone was “your computer is way too old to handle anything, you should probably just get a new one”. I didn’t say anything but then I asked another question and when he gave me his answer I asked him why it wouldn’t work, and he said because your computer is just too old. He didn’t seem too interested in figuring out exactly what I was trying to do rather he was more interested in making me feel like garbage for having a computer that’s older.I called the simply Mac store in Kent however, in the gentleman who picked up answered all my questions with respect and customer service attitude. I would recommend going to that store anytime. Whatever you do though, stay away from the simply Mac store in Redmond town Center.

They are polite and actually listen! They were quick with my repair. Its so much easier to work with them rather than the Genius Bar at the Mac store.

Sean the manager was able to recover my data on an old hopeless hard drive and was super kind and knowledgeable. A much better experience than I got through Apple, and it’s a better place to go than the Apple store for experience alone. They also have super cheap refurbished laptops!!!

Not sure if they had bad employees in the past (based on past reviews), but I think the two there were super polite and nice. I made an appointment online to get my phone battery replaced, the worker greeted me and helped me out. Only took probably an hour or so for him to replace it (way faster than a typical store). They also fixed the charging port on my phone while they replaced the battery to no additional cost. Definitely will go back again

This place treats you like a human being instead of constantly trying to sell you things you dont need (cough apple store). They we calm, easy to work with and was able to recover my data in like a few days. This place is HIGHLY recommended.

My contact at your facility was Andrew. He was one of the best people that I have ever worked with. I explained what had happened with my wifes phone as she was in the hospital and they gathered it up when they changed her bedding and proceeded to wash her IPhone. I explained how critical it was for her to have contact with me to help direct her care and he magically got me a replacement phone for her in just one day! Andrew you rock! I would certainly recommend your establishment in the Redmond Town Center to anyone who might have an issue with IPhone. I am extremely grateful to him for helping me make my wifes life and recovery so much better. I would give him a 10 out of 5 score!

The people that helped me were so nice. I asked a lot of questions and they were patient and explained everything really well. I felt like they were honest about pricing and what options I had to fix my laptop. When I got it back I noticed that they even cleaned my screen and keyboard. My laptop feels brand new now that they fixed it and upgraded some parts.

I came into the Simply Mac store in Redmond Town Center for assistance with an old iPod on Saturday December 14, 2019 and had the best experience with tech staff that I have had at any retail store. I was not coming into the store to buy anything and so they did not have to take the time they did with me. They got my old iPod working, I thought I had lost over 5,000 songs forever but that was not the case. I highly recommend you patronize this store. I know I will. They established lasting goodwill in my book!

Not only he gave me an exhaustive analysis of my computers hardware and software, but he also helped in unpacking and packing the bulky thing when the diagnostic process was finished. Brought in a no-longer-working MacBook Pro. They tried to revive it using the standard key combinations, which did not work. They took it in for diagnostics ($90 including tax). The follow-up call came in a day later, the diagnosis being a dead logic board. The result was disappointing but the process was fine.

FANTASTIC. When the trackpad on my Macbook Pro quick clicking down, I rushed it into Simply Mac Redmond. They greeted me, gave me an estimate ($700), ordered the part immediately.Three days later, not only was my computer repaired, but they had appealed to 2 Apple rebate programs. The total cost — for essentially a completely new computer — was $0. Needless to say, I recommend this place very highly.

Simply Mac on 45th in the U District was phenomenal, unfortunately have closed. When I had a problem with a swollen battery, I assumed these guys would be just as great. I was wrong, very wrong. They first give me this speech about how I had to get in there immediately to have the battery removed b/c it could explode & leak a toxic gas. So I rush down there (with a sick baby), in fear that I’m going to cause harm to my family. I get there they tell me they’re taking it in the back to remove the battery immediately and would call me tomorrow. 5 days later I call them and the guy told me he hasn’t seen my computer. He goes and looks for it and nothing has been done to this “emergency situation” of a swollen battery. He says he’ll remove it now and call me. Several days later I call back, battery out new one should be here today or tomorrow. We played this run around game for 22 days (my estimated time for completion was 10 days -due to the holidays-). Finally I said forget it & had my husband pick it up. They took the battery out and put a “new” trackpad on. I tried using the computer, it wouldn’t even boot. Took it into Apple and they were floored. The “new” trackpad was damaged AND they had unhooked a bunch of wires that should have never been touch. They asked me to call Apple Care and share my experience as they see this far too often and want corporate to break ties with them. All in all payed over $150 for them to remove my battery, give me a broken part and disassemble my computer. Please save yourself the time, money, and disappointment and go somewhere else. These guys are losers and I sincerely hope they go out of business.

Went in to get a battery replaced 3 years ago and my computer never ran correctly since shows its charging while the battery depletes, shuts down...brought it back aweek later, sat on their shelf for 10 days tryed to charge me $90 and told me it was working fine...I would not recommend this store

I made a reservation online to have my battery changed. It was two weeks out and said about 20 minutes. After I had traveled almost an hour to the store and turned over my phone, I was informed it would be two hours. “We have no control over the web site and it is always wrong”. The staff was unfailingly polite and unfailingly not in a hurry. Plan your visit with lots of extra time.

I have used Simply Mac in Redmond Town Center several times, and they are professional, friendly, highly skilled, and very patient with someone who is less than knowledgeable of the Apple product line. I rarely write glowing reviews, unless folks are excellent. Simply Mac in Redmond were excellent.I had a 3.20 appointment, I was seen at 3.20 despite being quite busy. They examined my Macbook 12 keyboard, organized a warranty replacement and had me out of the shop in around 20 minutes. The technician was attentive and patient and answered all my questions, as well as some about a future purchase. so much so Ill be buying from them.After a ETA of a fix of a few days to a week, I got an email a day and half later saying my Macbook was fixed and ready to collect. Wow!I collected and they made sure I was happy before I left. Thank you all, I really appreciate the time and effort to make me feel that you wanted my custom even though this was not a sale and a warranty replacement. See you for my next purchase!

Had a very strange experience. Told the service guy what the problem was with the phone and he struggled to tell us that we needed to go to the Apple Store in Bellevue. He stared at us for a little bit and mumbled, and finally said,...what do you want?? Like, philosophically?I was really surprised and said excuse me, and he was very apologetic and insisted that he was very stupid and that he needed someone to figure things out and that he thought we were wise and could help him. I told him he sounded drunk, to which he said he was tired, and we hurried to get out of there.Very strange. Really not a good experience. Maybe that dude was high or something, but should have never treated a customer thus. Felt very surreal.

The worst experience I have ever had with computer repair. The issue is still ongoing. I have been promised on multiple occasions they would either call or text me. I have had to call them three times. My Imac is still in their store. Nothing has been done. I dont know if it has been repaired or not. I would not recommend them to anyone. My three year old nephew could do a better job than they have done so far!!!

Consistently good to excellent customer service. The staff will take the time to help you and answer questions.- I went in for an iPhone battery check. The battery check program took almost no time to run. My battery was fine.- I discussed the iPad Pro versus the iPad. For what I wanted, the iPad Pro was better.- I didnt realize they had the Lacie Rugged 2 TB portable disk drive. I could have picked one up here and not ordered one directly from Lacie.

Something doesn’t seem right. The apple website sends you to them for the iphone Battery replacement that’s supposed to be $29 but they have their own service charge on top for another $30 for a total of $60.THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT DOES THIS!I don’t know how they can get away with this. As an apple specialist, when your name is advertised on apple website you are supposed to provide services at costs advertised.Stay away at all costs. What a ripp off!

I always get great service & advice. I am not super savvy when it comes to using technology so when I needed to replace my stolen MacBook Pro that I purchased new from Simply Mac in 2013, I wanted a lighter smaller version of something newer. Last week, I went on the day after the newest MacBook Pro made it’s debut. I walked out, very happily, with a refurbished 2015 11” MacBook. Love. Thanks everyone at Simply Mac! I had accidental damage on my MacBook Pro 13 Retina display. I made an appointment and was immediately helped by a gentleman who was kind, but didnt really know what he was doing. He identified the problem straight away, but then was unsure about how to fix it. I had to keep making sure he was checking the right prices because the first price he gave me was $650 and then I asked him if that was for retina and he had to check again (the Retina display he said was going to be $750). Seeing as though this was a lot of money, I decided to hold off and get a second opinion at the Apple Store later that same day. The technician at the Genius Bar said it would be $475(+tax) to replace the Retina display, and he said these Apple authorized places hike up the price. Because I felt as though the guy at simply mac didnt know what he was doing (he was very nice, however), and because the prices are so much higher for the same service, I probably will never be going back here.

As reported by others, you can be completely ignored here for long periods or entirely. Forst time i finally left: there was only one other person in the store then. Recently,when no one else was in the store, he finally acknowledged me and every time he asled me what the issue was he would walk away for no apparent reason and when another. customer entered the store he immediately stepped away to help them instead. A younger fellow finally came out from the back and exactly same thing: asked me about the problem and then started a conversation with the other employee. Very rude. They could have sold me a reconditioned computer but instead they had zero interest in my business. I have never had such a rude experience in a retail/service setting. Maybe is why the store is mostly empty.

All. The. Stars. The team at this SimplyMac are a few things: attentive, knowledgeable, and nice. SO NICE. Im a big fan of amazing customer service, which is why if I ever need help with any of my Mac products, Im will not pass Go, I will not collect $200, I will go straight to SimplyMac. They took great care of my MacBook Pro (major - hit my head against the wall - keyboard fail) and its now better than ever. Plus, the person who helped get my repair setup also made sure I purchased the right computer adapters I needed because of course I had grabbed the wrong ones. (Face palm.) Over priced and cocky. Rep said they like to think their ram at double the price is better than the competition. Poor customer service, drove 20 miles for specific ram and rep tried selling me something different.

By far, some of the worst customer experience I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. Strolled into the store with a few questions, their were two customers in the store (another person and, myself), was not greeted with any service. So i decided to approach the front desk and ask the employee, who was blankly staring into his computer monitor, if they repaired broken iphone screens, to which i get a reply of no, and no further help.

After scheduling an appointment and calling to confirm and make sure the appointment was needed for my computer issue, I showed up and was told to wait 15 minutes. This became 20. Why have appointments if youre going to be blown off for walk-ins? In the end, I received the technical service I needed, but the customer service and appointment process should be improved.

Pretty bad support, he wanted to charge me 40$ to use an external superdrive in-store for 15 minutes. Cited taking up bench space as the reason, even though the official apple store said they would let me use it for free since what I needed was so minor. Wont ever be going here for mac related issues.

Call to see if they had any accessories for the new iPad Pro and the gentleman on the phone was rude. They also didn’t have any accessories in stock...not what I would call a “ Premier Apple Partner”.
