Great customer service!! I feel off one of the bikes and they only charged us for an hour and came and picked up the bikes. Very knowledgeable about the bikes and helpful.

Went here today with my two teenage kids. Rented 3 e bikes for 2 hours. The young lady that helped us was extremely kind and super friendly. I wish I got her name to shout her out because she was awesome! She directed us to Belle Island as we told her we like to explore. She gave us turn by turn directions how to get there and she was spot on with her suggestion. We had an awesome day thanks to her suggestion. We will definitely rent from them again next time we are in from New York.

Renting an e bike to see Richmond up close is a must do activity, and this is THE place to get them. The store is clean and inviting. The person that helped us, Henley, was kind, patient and informative. Cannot say enough kind things about her.We rented the bikes for four hours. Anything less would not have been as enjoyable. It isn’t cheap, but well worth every nickel!Great public parking around the corner, just across the street from the Omni hotel.

We rented 2 e-bikes and had a blast. Ride 25 miles to Shirley Plantation where we stopped for lunch. They we came back and beat the rain by 2 minutes. Easy check in and check out. They provide helmets and locks as well.The bikes were newer and in great condition.

Amazing experience! The Pedego bikes are the perfect solution for sightseeing around Richmond and the Capital Trail to the Upper Shirley Winery and back. RVA on Wheels was great to work with and went the extra mile to contact us and arrange a tour and bike pick up from the winery. Everything was easy and simple to arrange. Had such a beautiful wonderful time. Thank again RVA on Wheels! We’ll be back.

It had been a while since I had been on a bike, so I took advantage of the practice area. We were on our way in no time. The Capital Trail was great even though we were rained on. Excellent equipment, the team prepared me well for my ride with a great ebike, saddle bag for my items, water and directions. I highly recommend. I enjoyed my Pedego it was easy to learn to ride handled great and was a ton of fun.

Great experience. They were very helpful getting us acquainted with the e-bikes. I’ve been considering purchasing an e-bike, and this was the only place I found where I can test-ride the e-bike before purchasing it by renting it for the day.

The Virginia Capital Trail itself was amazing but the bikes almost ruined the experience. They were not that well maintained as evidenced by how noisy the and rickety the brakes and frame were. Also the PAS on both bikes we rented were extremely sensitive to the point where you almost would rather manually operate the bike to keep from hurting yourself. I own a RadPower electric bike and rode with Pedego ebikes in Norfolk, VA (which was one of the BEST experiences ever!!) so I was expecting a similar ride experience. Not even close!! I was also put off by their insistence on us wearing a helmet, seeing as the Norfolk location gave us an option. However, after we rode for a bit we realized that the bikes were so poorly maintained that the likelihood of us being ejected off of the bikes were actually really high, so the helmets were needed. Awesome concept especially for such a bike friendly city, but the bikes at this location definitely need more maintenance or higher quality materials to live up to the hype.

Rode a $5,000 E-Bike. It went so fast at times it was scary. When I hit the throttle from stop the front tire would literally come off the ground. Glad someone else paid 5k so I could pay $40 to have a blast!!

I did the Upper Shirley bike tour with my dad and sister today as a Father’s Day gift to my dad. This was my 4th time doing a tour to Upper Shirley and 3rd time using a guide. We arrived at Pedego early. We were taken great care of. We got a late start because we were waiting for another group that was also taking the tour. The guide was knowledgeable. As we ventured on the guide expressed that we needed to keep up with the group so we could get to the restaurant by 2 pm. We were not riding fast enough to keep up with the rest of the group so, he said to set our ped assist for higher. This was my dad and sisters first time riding and they were not used to the bikes yet and I wasn’t about to leave them. Later he expressed again keeping up and the time and I could tell that he seemed somewhat annoyed as did an older person in the group with us. I also understand the guide didn’t want to lose us. We would not have been in a time crunch if the other group had arrived on time. I should have told them to please go ahead since I was acquainted with the bike trail. I’m glad this did not ruin the trip for my dad. The scenery on the way to Upper Shirley was beautiful. It was supposed to be a nice paced, relaxing ride. Not rushed and filled with anxiety because of some people in your group and the guide, you are riding with and not wanting to get spoken to again. I know this is an isolated incident because every tour that I have taken before was wonderful. If there is a next time, I will be sure to not use a guide or not be paired with another group.

What a wonderful experience. We had 3 friends in from out of town and we were at a loss at what to do for their 3rd time here. We rented our 5 electric bikes and were, after a brief intro on how to use the bikes (so simple), on our way along the VA capitol trail. So cool and so much fun...only regret is that we should have done it for longer! Hendley who took our reservations AND greeted us at the shop AND set us up was so friendly, informed and all around great. Totally recommend this experience! Very safe and fun! Thank you Hendley!

Hello, fun....beautiful warmer than usual January day so we took the Pedegos out for a spin. This was our first time and super fun, we will definitely do this again. I was surprised at all the folks out today walking and riding, yet few had electric bikes. They dont know what they are missing. Thanks Pedego staff, you all did a good job of showing us the ropes!

First experience on electric bikes and what a great ride! We did a city ride which had some hills and that electric boost was great. Definitely recommend!

Cant speak about the trips or bikes, but the owner and team saved me from walking home with my ebike today by loaning me a tool and some time at the store. The trips sounds great and Ill definitely bring my family in for a tour.

Besides receiving wonderful electric bikes to ride, which my son had reserved for us, we thoroughly briefed and oriented to the use of the bikes by Megan. She is a wonderful representative for Pedego Electric Bikes RVA and very patient when explaining the use of the bikes for first timers like us. Hopefully you have several more employees like Megan. If not, you should consider her the gold standard by which you measure yet to be hired staff. Thank you for a very positive first experience with RVA.

My son and I were looking for something to do on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and decided last minute to rent some electric bikes, just to see what they were about! We were able to rent two at Pedego RVA. They are conveniently located very close to the Capital Trail. They were very welcoming, educated us on the bikes, let us practice in a nearby alley and we were off! The bikes were wonderful and we had a great time cruising down the Capital Trail--we may not go back to regular bikes! We would highly recommend them, their bikes and the nearby Capital Trail!

We havent biked much this summer and I didnt know if I could keep up with my husband or handle the hills... Oh my gosh these bikes were the perfect solution! I hope to rent these in other parts of the country. Great if our of shape kids or senior dad was with. Henley was great for local suggestions and bike instructions.

Pedego RVA is an excellent option to choose when searching for an easy-going and fulfilling way to peruse RVA and its surrounding area. I recently experienced the Shirley Plantation tour with a group of friends and we each thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A clear, cool, sunny day provided the perfect backdrop for our 20+ mile journey, and the Pedego RVA electric bikes were up for the task! Buck, Grace, and the other friendly staff members welcomed us with open arms, which made our Saturday morning ride all the more pleasurable. Our tour guide Grace was very knowledgeable about historic locations along our way, and was as patient as her name suggests. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to spend my morning on a Pedego RVA electric bike tour! We look forward to going on all the tours and everything else offered. Thanks!

Top class establishment and an incredible value. We walked in without an appointment and we ready to ride in less than 5 minutes. The bikes are so cool, you can literally just turn the throttle and go faster than anyone else without pedaling at all, or you can let the battery assist while you pedal and just ride all day without getting tired. They are in the same building with Segways too, so fun for all. 5 stars all the way!

Delightful ride from downtown Richmond to Berkeley Plantation via the Colonial Trail. Great experience nice box lunch and tour of The Plantation all included. Bike was impressive. Folks at Segway of Richmond think of everything. Plan to do it again soon.

What an incredible way to see Richmond! My boyfriend and I took the bikes on a 50 mile ride to Shirley Plantation- an adventure only possible with an electric boost. Buck and his team took amazing care of us and gave great recommendations!
