Dr. Cox has amazing bedside manner and genuinely cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and takes an interest in our current and future state. I wish all of my doctors cared as much as she does and give quality service.
Dr Cox is amazing doctor who treats all of her patients with respect and kindness. I have been with her for over 30 years. All of my children saw her when they were young and got their glasses and contact lenses through her office. If you want a real eye exam from a licensed doctor she is awesome. If ya want a two for $19 dollar exam go see the fake docs.
Sent me off with the wrong prescription. The whole experience was not good. How can I truly trust her in the future.
Dr. Cox and her team are always wonderful, helpful, and warm. Ive been going for 5 years at this point and have never had anything but great experiences.
Dr. Cox is amazing! She did more for me in a simple exam than anyone else that I have ever had an exam with. She even took the time to explain things to me and got me interested in it too, instead of it being a routine boring exam. She is my favorite so far and I will definitely be back! She is genuine and truly cares. I only give reviews like this for doctors that I feel truly care about their profession and the people in their care, and Nina Cox is definitely one of them. I highly recommend her practice.
Weve been patients for over 30 years. She is a wonderful doctor
Very pushy Dr. gave me a prescription so much stronger than my actual vision that my current doctor is concerned I’ll develop headaches when using my actual prescription. Would never recommend as they constantly kept trying to give me exams that are not covered by my insurance after I had already paid for an eye exam. The Dr. also authorized charges for my glasses to my insurance after I told her not to. Again would never ever recommend this office.
I went here to get a routine eye exam and to receive an updated Rx to order contacts online, and to purchase a new pair of glasses. My eyes were dilated, so I was not able to see to pick out glasses. I was also informed that Larry was not there, so I would have to come back. Then, I was also informed that in order to get an Rx for contacts I would have to come back for yet another appointment. After already going through the exam and paying $40 to get the prescription for contacts. Ive never in my life had to attend multiple appointments to get a prescription that I already had been examined for and paid for. I would not recommend this practice, at all!
I figured Id write a review since I keep getting spam emails from them. I dont recommend Dr. Nina Cox. I went in a couple years ago for an eye exam and because of my dry eyes and pain. She basically didnt act serious about the situation, even though Ive been to countless Eye Specialists and only one has been able to help a little. Turns out I have a nerve problem related to my eyes. But she proceeded to tell me that I probably dont blink correctly... because that makes the most sense right? Ive been blinking fine for 29 years of my life but just in the last few years, apparently not?? Then in order to try on pairs of contacts, without giving me any notice, puts her dry fingers in my eye and takes out my contact. Um hello... I am perfectly capable of taking out my own contacts and not having you forceable take them out without even asking if it was okay. I was there for a long time trying on different contacts and none of them felt okay, either blurry, hurt, stinging, or gave me double-vision. She said theyre a test trial eye doctors office so Im assuming she was just giving me what the companies give to her to test on her patients. Anyway, I havent gone back and dont plan to.
Very knowledgeable and thorough in her exams. She is straightforward and if you have any concerns or questions don’t be afraid to ask. I have been seeing Dr. Cox for over a year and so have both my children. She does well with both adults and kids and answers all of their questions too. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with as well.
This is the best eye doctor I have ever gone to. She is patient, very nice and gives very thorough attention to all her patients. I recommend her very highly to anyone and everyone. She also has staff that are as wonderful and professional as she is. I always enjoy going to her office. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. If you need an eye doctor or are looking for one to change to, you really should go to her. You will be glad you did.
I have known Dr. Nina Cox for approximately 15 years. Without hesitation I can state that she is one of the best eye care professionals that I have ever encountered. I have worked for and with several eye care professionals over the past 15 years and Dr. Cox is absolutely an outstanding individual. Her office is clean, efficient, and well managed. I would be happy to give her a thumbs up and rate her off the chart for professionalism and above all caring about the well being of her patients.
One of my girl friend recommend Dr Nina Cox as my eye doctor to me. She is the very detailed eye doctor. Im thankful to God. I find a right eye doctor.Im well pleased with her and co-worker.I would recommend that Dr. Nina Cox is very considerable and other staffs are very kind to me. Thank you.
I have been going to DR. Cox for over 10 years and I wouldnt go anywhere else. She is a great and personable eye doctor. I see her once a year and she still remembers me by name. Her staff is always nice and courteous. I recommend Dr. Cox for all eye care needs
Complete lack of respect, rude, and pushy Dr. with limited equipment that cant comfortably service people over 6ft.Dr. Cox forgot the importance of listening to patients. Which is important in any job, but especially as a Doctor in healthcare. They do not have equipment to accomodate people over 6ft tall. I was willing to hunch through it until Dr. Cox showed a continued lack of respect, constantly talking over and INSISTING she knew my concern, brushing it off multiple times as she tried to rush me through the exam. It took me asking to end the appointment before she actually stopped to listen, where she finally understood my concern, but by then I lost all confidence in her ability to treat my needs.Might be time to review the Principles of Medical Ethics, Doctor.
We have been going to Dr. Cox for about a year now and we really enjoy her as our Family Optometrist. She is very friendly and personable with the adults as well as the children. She really knows how to make everyone feel comfortable. Her office staff is also friendly and helpful
Awesome! I called the day before and was able to get an appoointment the very next morning. The staff was very nice and friendly. Dr. Cox is awesome. Very nice and friendly. She took the time to answer questions that I had and even made me laugh. I am so happy I found her
Great experience. Dr. Cox is so very kind and explains each step she is taking in great detail. An excellent practice. Highly recommend Dr. Cox and her staff - Superbly professional and personable.
I had a great experience at this office! Everyone is so kind and helpful. I lost my glasses and needed a new pair as soon as possible, they were able to fit me in the same day which was so helpful to me, contacts really dry out my eyes.I had to bring my twin nieces with me, and everyone was so nice to them, they got so many lollies that day, we were loving it! Cadria entertained them while I went to get my contacts out in the bathroom, the dry eye problem can make this process a little long. She was great with them and it was so nice to have that unexpected help :).The exam was easy as always, Dr. Cox continuously explained to my girls what was happening with each procedure and answered every question their curious little 4-year-old minds came up with. Those things are so special, they talked about it the whole way home and I will always remember it.I had already picked out frames while I was waiting to be called back for my exam, Larry had already greeted me and knew the frames I wanted. Plus, he gave his honest opinion on he ones I tried on and I really love that. My new glasses were ready in 30 minutes! I was not expecting that at all and I was beyond grateful for their caring and consideration of my dye eyes. I was able to drop my nieces off at their house and come back and pick them up, it was just the best experience from start to finish.Everyone who works here was great. I couldnt be happier.
Dr Cox has offered excellent professional service for me and my family for almost 20 years. She is warm and personable and the staff is great. I highly recommend this office!
Dr. Cox was recommended by one of my other doctors and after seeing her I understand why. She is patient and cares about the well being of her patients. The office staff is courteous and accommodating when possible.
Have been going to Dr. Cox for a a few years; she is very thorough, takes time to answer questions and explains what she finds. Dr. Cox never tries to sell something - she doesnt push fancy frames and so forth - like some doctors. There is an optician with her practice, so myriad choices are available if required. Open Saturday mornings, which is helpful.
Dr.Cox has been our ( me & my husband) Optometrist for at least 20 years. Her new office is easily accessible, clean, & a professional & friendly staff. I highly recommend Dr. Cox for complete eye exams, purchase & follow -up exams for contact lenses.
Everyone was nice and patient. Dr. Cox took time to listen and made you feel like your time with her mattered. I did not feel rushed very thoughtful practice.
She truly amazing knew her seine I was a baby got my first glasses from her she like family to us
The fact that this is one of very few offices offering Saturday hours to their patients, this alone sold me. Once I arrived I realized that convenience was just one factor, the office staff and Dr. Cox provide a friendly comfortable enviroment that has made me a loyal patient. Dr. Cox and staff are very knowleagable and offer a myriad of services as well as have a great selection of quality frames. I would recommend Dr. Cox to anyone and everyone!
Went here after going to my other doc at Pearle Vision, because it was cheaper— TERRIBLE decision. I got my glasses back today and the prescription she wrote for me was waaayy wrong. Not to mention, while I was picking out glasses the staff was making me feel rushed and asking me “why I don’t like” the pair I tried on. Simply said “because I don’t” and ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Bad experience, and will NEVER go here again.
I took my 96 year father that has macular.degeneration in both eyes. We were both pleased with the experience at the office. We had tried many ways for him to read better with his condition and were surprised to learn new options and tools to aid him.
Dr. Cox is the best! I have been seeing her for about 15 years. A great doctor!
Dr. Cox is wonderful and I have been going to see her for many years. She is always available if I am having an eye problem and she really cares about her patients.
They call me an hour be4 they close on Friday and they are closed all weekend thats my first problem but before that when I went into the office they told me my glasses would be in 9n Monday and I had to call them on Wednesday for them to tell me it will be a couple more days... And then for that to happen very dissapointed
Our family has been going there for two years. The dr and staff are very nice and they have a great selection of frames, from designer to less expensive
Im a bow hunter and having problems focusing on sight and my target. Dr. Cox had me bring my bow in to see what would work. I couldnt be happier with the results.
Dr. Cox and her Staff provide a professional and great experience.
