If I could give this place less stars, I would. They totally took advantage of my daughter going in to get her eyes checked on her own for the first time. They could not figure out how insurance works and charged her for the total exam without insurance... over $200! What kind of college student has that kind of money to blow at once? The told her they were having technical difficulties and would reimburse her when they figured it out. This was our first and LAST time going to this eye Dr.

Chase, the employee whom had helped me, was knowledgeable, honest, and extremely helpful. He was able to answered all my questions and assisted me through my purchases. This is the level of customer service that make me want to continue to shop at target optical.

UPDATE:Even after completing offered customer form, and waiting for 1 week longer was again informed that order is delayed. 3 weeks waiting time now for the second pair of lenses. This is the last time I use TARGET OPTICAL for service. I changed review to 1-star now.EXTREMELY long order times. Was waiting for the glasses 3 weeks, — and it turned to be a miscommunication with a doctor, so glasses were to be remade. Again, two weeks passed and I was informed today (Tuesday) that I cant expect them this week. Overall, 6 weeks without reading glasses.

I love my new glasses! The Opticians were so helpful and gave me advice on which frame looked the best on me and which would work best with my progressive bifocals. They had great name brands: Raybans, Oakley, Calvin Klein, Armani...I even purchased a pair of sunglasses because i received 40% off. A great experience.

Staff was helpful but was told my glasses would be in in a week so and then no word. Called and was told the frames were on back order. Was told the lab would get the lenses put in and they would arrive the end of week. Again, nothing. Called on Saturday and was told they are in processing but can’t talk to anyone until Monday. I understand things happen but come on, there is definitely a break down of communication between the store and the lab. The next time I will go somewhere else.

I popped in on a random evening to pick out a pair of glasses and the staff was so helpful. Trudy had me try on all the ones I was interested in and spent some time picking out a few others I might like as well. Both of the staff were wonderful to work with and I got my new glasses ordered no problem

Dr. Gates really took the time to make sure that both of my glasses and contacts prescriptions were correct. And then inside when I was buying glasses, the people there were extremely helpful, really tried to make sure you were getting the best deal, and gave excellent feedback. Im so glad I didnt go anywhere else!

I was in need of a second pair of glasses and decided to try Target this time around. I was very impressed with the selection and the expertise and help the associate (Dave) gave me. Thank you Dave so much for all your help! Excellent service!

Cant even get anyone to answer the phone. Its Thursday, February 22nd at 2:20pm, and Ive been trying since this morning to get ahold of someone to ask a couple of questions before I book an appointment. And no, I dont want to leave a message for a call back. I want someone to take care of my questions when its convenient for me, not when its convenient for them! If you cant even be bothered to man your phones, then Ill go elsewhere.

I showed up for an appointment on a Saturday afternoon. Turns out I was a week early, no big deal. Ill just come back.Except the woman at the front desk was so incredibly rude, short, and gave me the absolute worst first impression of a medical office that I have ever experienced.This was my first time to this particular office and I will never return. I made it a point to go back in on my way out of target and cancel my appointment. I also told the woman how I felt she had been disrespectful and rude towards me, and all she said was ok.

So impressed with the staff here, they were warm, welcoming, and very helpful.

Loved my entire experience...from the selection, to the fitting and ultimately My NEW Glasses!Thank you a great customer experience!!!

Needed a new doctor because of new insurance with my job, after calling around Richmond with no luck Dr. Gates and his staff made sure they did everything they could to see me that same day. Everything worked out great and my new doctor is GREAT!!
