I love this place!!! The ice cream is amazing!! My aunt took me there for my birthday. You must try this because you will not be disappointed. The young ladies who served us were friendly and kind. Great service!

Before my visit I had never had rolled oce cream or ever considered trying it.However, for some reason NarWhals spoke to me and I stopped. I am glad I did.The staff was incredibly cheerful and helpful. They walked me through the process and let me watch.The product was excellent. I live the mixture of flavors and they way rolled oce cream came out not so melted etc.A definite regular customer when in Richmond again

This place is so cool! I had never seen rolled ice cream before coming here, but it is fascinating! Its fun to watch them make your ice cream right in front of you! They have a lot of topping options and cone options. The ice cream is SO GOOD! They also teach lessons on how to make rolled ice cream, and they have fun games on the table and books that kids can read while they eat their ice cream. Overall, it is such a cool store, with a wonderful atmosphere and amazing ice cream!

What can I say? This is the perfect spot for an ice cream lover who appreciates new experiences. The ice cream creations all begin with vanilla ice cream (in liquid form), then mixed up with toppings of your choice to create your unique flavor. You then have the option to add extra toppings to your ice cream rolls. Mine was pretty simple, just banana slices and caramel sauce to make up my flavor, I opted out of additional toppings. Delish!!Since its a difficult concept to visualize, I made sure to record a video. Watch this cool technique! Oh, and before I forget, sweet, friendly ladies were working the day we visited, so great customer service!Fun fact: my kids call this business the ice cream burrito place 😊

This is a small shop in Carytown. We stopped in here after having some burgers right down the road. Very friendly and helpful service on explaining what they do to make it, etc. It was my first experience with rolled ice cream. You can get multiple flavors and they have oodles of flavors to choose from and they have free toppings to go with it or you can upgrade and get some of the premium toppings.It was neat watching them chop it, freeze it, and roll/curl it. I enjoyed that part. I chose the nutter butter and peanut butter cup 2 flavor small option and got plenty of ice cream for the price. Pricing is fair for what you get. I also asked for peanut butter frizzle (free) and that was put in the mixture and then on top of my rolled ice cream once it was finished. It was pretty good. I think it maybe would of been better if I had chose better flavors to go together. I would try rolled ice cream again at NarWhals or somewhere else that makes it but it wasnt my favorite ice cream ever. Seats inside. They also have games like uno to play inside which I thought was very cool/unique to have in an ice cream shop. 4 stars because of the experience, friendliness, and good ice cream - it just wasnt 5 stars for me because it wasnt a WOW factor on taste.

We thought we might try some so we stopped in and trirled to take a look around the shop. There was one area of the shop that was roped off and we didnt try to go in there but just were looking at that area of the shop and the lady behind the counter came and yelled at us. Not really sure why and we left confused and a lot less enthusiastic about trying their ice cream.

Cool concept, fun place and very nice/chill people working there. You watch them roll it up right in front of you, and the end product is pretty good. I like all the customization options/ability to create whatever you want to taste.

So fun to watch them create this frozen treat! This was our first time seeing this done with Ice cream. The serving size is perfect for two people to share. It was amazing what half cup of cream, one strawberry and half a banana can make. Great fresh flavor. Its a fun and delicious combo.

It was on a strip, which was a pleasant surprise because Im not familiar with the area, but you can walk around and see some pretty amazing stores and graffiti along this strip. The place did smell kind of weird on the inside but I just chalked it up to it being my first time in a rolled ice cream shop. Lol Maybe thats normal, I dont know. The ice cream was good tho, they have about 7 flavor options. I got strawberry banana, and lots of different toppings and fillings you can add. Cool experience and Id take someone else here. Ill definitely be back.

All the fresh they put in it is super fresh and you watch them make it! It takes really natural, not too sweet. Super good, I will definitely be coming back.

There’s literally a hole 🕳 in the bathroom 🚽, but the wait was too long and it was so hot 🥵 . We aren’t a patient, cold-blooded ❄️ family👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 so we just left🏃🏻‍♂️. It looks cool 😎 though.

This place is awesome. The portions are huge and the staff was super sweet. The only downside was the toilet wasnt working. I have 2 toddlers potty training and I thought the bathroom was fine but no flush or paper, so maybe a sign should be put up. Hut great service we will be coming again!

Delicious! Such a unique concept to make your own flavor ice cream. My oldest created banana pudding with bananas and Nilla Wafers. I had a York peppermint patty with a mint Oreo...yum! Berries and chocolate is also yummy. The way the chop, freeze, and curl it - so neat. You can get sauce rolled in it, put on it, sprinkles, whipped cream... so many choices! All of them delicious!

Small yet quaint shop. Many many flavors only leaving you to your imagination and what your pallet desires. Decent amount of ice cream. Pricing fair. Only grip is that the chairs out front are cabled together making it not to fun to sit down.

Delicious! Its very entertaining watching them make the rolled ice cream and you get a really good amount. A regular is plenty to split. But they dont have many base flavors or toppings and just be warned that the process to make it takes a while. Nevertheless, we loved our experience and will definitely go again.

Staff are super nice, helpful, and patient. They took time to explain everything to first timers. Store is very small--only three tables--and it gets loud because they are preparing the ice cream right near you. There is outside seating, however. There is only one size and price--$6.95 per bowl--so its not inexpensive. Each bowl is probably enough for 2 if you eat a reasonable portion. I wouldnt really call this ice cream. Its more of a frozen yogurt, with a distinct tanginess that is not associated with ice cream. Keep that in mind if you are expecting something creamy and sweet.

LOVED IT! They have a few flavor (about 6) to choose from with endless combination options. It was cool to watch them as they make the ice cream on the chilled tables. It was absolutely delicious and I will be going again!

This was really cool! It had good service, fast, satisfying, and it was so good. The only things is that it was pretty expensive, $7 dollars per cup, when I there was no chocolate sauce, there was one table, and they make it all on the same table without cleaning really good—my cookies and cream tasted like strawberry. Also my sister had to specially ask for them to clean it better so she didnt have an allergic reaction: peanuts.Hope this review helped! Loved it besides those things!

An interesting approach to ice cream as they freeze the cream and add topping in front of you. Base is chocolate or vanilla with 3-6 toppings available. Price is reasonable for the quantity/quality provided. Parking is limited to the street. Seating is also limited. With two freeze tables, expect a wait.

Whale what do we have on the horizon but a breaching majestic ice cream place which contains NO ACTUAL WHALE. Thats right Richmond! Say goodbye to the whalebone corsets and blubber lamps because this place is CERTIFIED WHALE FREE.Also the ice cream is good.

The flavor was wonderful, the texture was very smooth, you got a very reasonable amount of ice cream for the price...The two kids working there were very nice and explained what rolled ice cream was and how it worked...considering theyre working out of Zzams parking lot with a tent and cooler is a very cool experience...on the weekend, expect a line....
