Great service. I got there a few minutes before closing with a towing ball problem, after driving for 1000 miles and having another 700 to go i wanted to make sure it was not a problem. Jordan was there and he did everything he could to help me figure it out, we ended up replacing a failing tow hitch with ball. he helped take off a 6x12 trailer that was full and very heavy and replaced with a new hitch and ball. Ended up staying about 30 minutes after closing time to make sure i was back on the road safely. Great help. 5 stars.

We have rented three trailers from this location this summer . Each visit was flawless ! The GM Christian Bowling is helpful, professional and just a super friendly guy to deal with. Their equipment is well maintained and clean. Thanks for all the help with our multiple moves!

James was kind and there were zero issues with the truck rental. The truck was clean and it was an easy in, easy out experience. There were no surprise charges. I had an extra mileage charge upon returning but I was well informed before I rented the truck of this possibility. The mileage was priced fairly.

Horrrribblleeeeee service. So first Im told only 100 flat will be taken off my card but Id be given the remainder back already both not true my card got charged 120 and only 20 was returned of it all when it was only 71 dollars and some change. Then I was told if we returned the uhaul with more gas than we picked it up with Id get money off so I did just to drop it off and the SAME GIRL be there and lie saying she didnt say that the day prior of being picked up. Only got the 29.95 truck for 24 hours and ended up paying 150 in total for it and they wont answer their phones now to even explain why they kept the whole 100 off my card. The one time they answered I was hung up on. The place is a scam.

This was my drop off location and Brandon is who checked me in. He was friendly and made my drop off simple and hassle free! I even left something in the truck and he called me less than 5 minutes after I left to let me know so I could come back! Would give negative stars if I could. I got 20ft truck and it comes with 1 month free storage. Since I had already rented a storage they assured me many times ID get a refund for storage unit. Asked 4 times just to be sure and a blonde woman at destk assured me many times ID get refund which was $95. They refuse to refund my money or stick to their claim of a free month of storage. If your looking your looking to go here youll be lied too. Then the district manager or whatever said that the blonde woman was liable for my refund.(bs) Its on thr company to refund and them deal with that not me. SO THEY RIPPED ME OFF $95 and claim not their problem. BS BS BS SCAMMERS

I was quoted 150 online for a trailer and charged 300 when I picked it up. when I asked why I was told I had to do it online, even though I did. I guess they meant they have to email me the trailer and I just print it out myself. thanks fellas

Really wish I could give less than 1 star. I was looking to get a tow package installed on my vehicle. price was right I am driving from dayton since I work in richmond to get this done. get there and my appointment was postponed for a week....no call no email....the gm said ill call you when the part is in to install.....i still to this day have not gotten a phone call from anyone nor an email....i guess you are not in it for the money. this was 2 months ago fyi. thanks for no help at all.

I have rented from this location several timesover the past ten yearsand never ever had any kind of issue with the service or equipment. They are always friendly and helpful.

We purchased boxes from here, and they told us if we dont use them, they would buy them back. We took unused boxes back on Thursday December 31st at 5:30PM only to have them tell us that since we didnt have a receipt, even though it says U-Haul all over the boxes, they wouldnt buy them back. Guy at the register took a half an hour to check out the guy in front of us out, and then was rude as could be when telling us they couldnt take them back. Wouldnt come back here for nothing.

Ive been going to this U-Haul for propane for the past 6 months and the service was horrible for a long time. The store manager was not helpful and I saw him and another man working on their personal cars in the garage instead of coming to the counter to help customers. However, about a month ago I saw 2 new faces, and they have been great. Both men are very helpful and come out when you run over the bell. Things here have greatly improved!

Everyone at the Uhaul in Richmond, IN, is very nice and helpful. Christian and his staff went out of their way to help us each time we had a question and when we were moving our possessions in and out of our storage unit. I highly recommend this business.

Very nice staff unfortunately they are all about meeting quotas. They do not prorate if you do not use a full month at their facilities. A bill was due the 5th and moving out on the 9th and had to pay full amount plus almost 20.00 in late fees. What a joke. Thats a lot of free money knowing they can rent it out possibly tonight and collect twice on one unit. Poor company practices. The almighty great dollar

Want to hear about our horrible U-Haul experience?!After making it 40 miles into our 307 mile journey home, we broke down. It took 2 hours to get help. Well our help didnt have a tow truck or gasoline on hand. So he left us again on the side of the interstate. It took another hour for him to come back with 5 gallons of gas...All for a broken fuel gauge and completely empty tank at the time of pickup!Oh and want to know the best part? U-Haul wont refund us because we declined to fix the fuel gauge....3.5 hours on the side of I-70 with my family, 4 hours behind schedule, unloading in the dark, and you still took my $667 (including all the gas $$ we dumped in).Oh and dont bother calling because youll get transferred to a million different departments and still end up with no solution- hence the last ditch effort of using social media.#uhaulfamous #moving #uhaulsucks

I had a GREAT experience. Fantastic quick service, new truck, and James even called me to tell me I had left my glasses!!

I reserved a 26 truck online and was assured that one was available at this location to be picked up at 4:30 pm the next day. I arrived 10 minutes early and was greeted by a polite man who told me that the truck wasnt there. Another customer was supposed to return a 26 truck at 4:30 for me to use, but I was only told this right then. I waited til 4:45 and they didnt show. My tight schedule dictated that I needed to get a smaller truck which aggravated me greatly because Id have to make several trips moving into my house instead of one. The attendant gave me a 17 that was actually there, but failed to check the gas or give us a damages slip to fill out so we wouldnt be liable for anything previously done to the truck. My complaints: pretty much my entire dealing with this facility. Aside from the pleasant attendant, the inside of the store was cramped and looked more like a box factory than a U-Haul. There should also be a policy that doesnt allow people to rent trucks that arent physically in the lot of their chosen establishment. While I got the job done, U-Haul created a huge unnecessary hassle for me.

Staff is great, friendly, and very helpful. The lot is split in half by a road, which makes the driving in the lot very difficult at times, however, that was the only flaw i saw/experienced.

I ordered a truck on line and well in advance of day i needed it. I was charged on line for what i thought was the truck fee. My husband and i go the day we need truck only to find out they charged me 139.00 worth of packing materials which i did not order and the man wanted to charge me for truck rental. Man would not refund the charge and to top it off would not give me the matetials. Hr kept calling me a liar saing i got materials. They had cameras. My husband asked him to prove it. No luck. We had to go to our bank to file fraud charges against company and find out when i was charged. Man at store kept saying i got materials Saturday when i wasnt charged until night before we came in. We went back to store. Man refused to work with us, so canceled truck. We drove all the way to connersville uhaul. The lady there was amazing. She called district manager and reported problem. She said its happened before. She gave us free miles to get truck back to Richmond. She called me before we got back to richmond said dist mgr would take care of it. After truck was loaded and on our way to sons dist mgr calls and tells me store mgr will be making everything right. Store mgr calls gives us refund 139.00. But what about gas in my car to and from connersville, our time lost. We were 3 hours late. You ask what was materials. Ill give you 2 examples 1 was a queen size mattress cover 1 was a wardrobe box. We were moving our sons exercise equipment from our garage to his new home. My husband and i are both disabled so loading a box of weights is out of picture, so is putting a work out bench in a box. We tore stuff down into pc we could handle. I would never go here.

The prices of their boxes alone! 😡 As well as the light of the information from all these reviews - which they dont seem to care about improving one bit.

Drove 25 miles to buy a hitch that they said they had in stock. Told him I was on my way. Got there a half hour after the conversation and nope..said he just installed it on a vehicle. Waste of time and gas dealing with this place.
