My husband’s Alternating Pressure- Low Air Loss mattress malfunctioned in the middle of the night, emitting an alarm every 30 minutes all night long. I called the ABC after hours line on Sunday morning at 7:30. By 8:30 a service technician was on the phone, helping me to troubleshoot the problem, and within several hours, she had driven from outside Charlotteville to Hanover County replace the control box as well as the mattress. Excellent customer service!!!!

If there was a way to give them negative stars I would. HORRIBLE COMPANY. I am having trouble with my equipment and can’t get my tech to return my calls. I have tried all the office numbers I have found on the internet and they all state closed even though they state they would be open during those times. Mon thru Fri 9-5 I have sent email after email and it’s like this company has gone out of business. I am going to call my credit card company to dispute the charges. Maybe that will get their attention. The very worst worst service ever there is one star because it would not let me post without at least one

After a “rocky start”, my experience was good. I waited outside for nearly 30 min due to a unplanned Medicare review of operations that threw the tech off schedule by 30 min. The person who answered the phone (the number I called from car and that was posted on the COVID sign) did not tell me that the tech was delayed, so I was kept in “the dark” and out of frustration I finally drove away. When Fallon (the tech) called me while I was driving away, she explained what happened and I returned to keep my appt.Fallon told me that she had instructed the receptionist to tell me that she was detained by the unscheduled Medicare audit, and that she was terribly sorry for the delay. The receptionist, a new hire, did not tell me of the delay and up to 30 min wait.When in Fallon’s office, and after her repeated apologies, the orientation to the C-PAP machine began and all was well. Fallon was very informative and courteous. The appt lasted about an hour and she answered all my questions.She promised to call me in a week to see how I was doing.

A few months ago, we were referred to ABC for a CPAP. Initially, it took ABC Health Care 3-5 days to contact us. As a Respiratory Therapist, I 100% understand the importance of receiving this equipment in a timely fashion, but I tried to be patient and understanding, as we were at the beginning of COVID-19. About 1 1/2 months after receiving the equipment, the mask broke. We called their office several times, and left voicemail messages, to request a replacement mask. They never called us back! After 3 weeks of trying to reach them, I took off work and went to their office. Upon arriving, the front desk receptionist was very rude to us, and told us that we could not come in, until we completed a screening questionnaire. Her tone towards us was filled with disdain, as she scolded us for attempting to enter the office -- despite the fact that we both had masks on. Ironically enough, she didnt want us to come into the office, but she did not get up out of her chair to bring us the screening form (which was on the counter at her desk).Once I asked her where the forms were, she pointed to the top of the counter, so I entered and grabbed the form (to complete it). While we were standing at the counter (completing our forms), a male customer came in -- without a mask on. She was very pleasant towards him. She didnt even acknowledge that he didnt have a mask on, and she told him to come in and have a seat, that she would be right with him. Wow!I informed her that we had been calling for weeks, and no one had called us back -- regarding my daughters CPAP mask. She told me that their staff was working from home, so they were backed up on calling patients back. In my mind (I thought), how does them working from home prevent them from returning a patients call? The short answer is -- it shouldnt.In August, we called to request a replacement mask, and guess what?... It took them a whole month to call us back. I cant understand how a DME company could have such horrible customer service -- when their customers lives depend on their timely and efficient products/services.Seriously disappointed. Wish I could have given them ZERO stars! If your provider refers you to ABC Health Care (in Chesapeake, VA), ask them to send you elsewhere!

Very efficient. I was scheduled for a 30 minute consult and was finished with 5 minutes to spare. I was seen as soon as I gave my name to the receptionist. Everything was explained thoroughly, and my questions and concerns addressed. I left feeling knowledgeable and capable. The technician seemed a little distracted, but that did not affect his performance. My only concern is the information I received when making the appointment, versus the information received during the consult. But I will confirm with my insurance company.

ABC HEALTH CARE has been very helpful to me. I needed home oxygen and a wheelchair delivered to my home so I could get released from the hospital. ABC HEALTHCARE made sure that someone would deliver both my concentrator and a wheelchair to my home while I was being released from the hospital. When I got to my home the technician from ABC was right behind me to drop off my equipment. Thank you so much for you support in this trying time and making my return home so easily done.

Location was slightly difficult to find, but I know where you are now.Phone mail tree needs to put the patient first, not deep into the phone mail tree system. I believe 80000 is the cure now. This is a serious thing for elderly patients. Bad marketing and bad operations!Justin was great. My issue with the setting on the machine will be taken up by PAR now that I returned from vacation.

I came at least 5 - 10 minutes early, the respiratory tech was able to assist me right away. He showed me the features and function of the CPAP machine. He also provided the necessary documentation and the app for my CPAP.He was also able to answer my questions and he was polite and professional.

I wish I could give zero stars. This firm is disorganized, having sent me wrong-sized supplies multiple times, making them useless. Customer service skills are virtually nill, given no amount of phone calls could ever get them to correct my order. I finally gave up, and asked my pulmonologist to assign me a new company. Beware.

I was fitted last Thurs, May 2 for a CPAP machine. It was a lot of info to take in at once. I was told I could call them at anytime with questions. On Friday I tried to call them, I texted them, I went thru their website to leave a message. Today is Monday and I still havent heard back from them. I have been using this company since January of this year. I have sleep apnea and needed a new machine and mask. The people at the local branch on Whitepine Rd. in Chesterfield are nice but you have to go through the Hampton office when you call. Calling them and leaving messages does not work. The recording says leave a message and we will return your call. Not! I have to call them after waiting a couple of days. Only to leave another message. After leaving the second one I waited for over a week and called back. Finally got through, no apology for not returning my call. On February 9th my doctor sent them a prescription and I never heard from them. Called on the 15th and left a message, no return call. Called on the 19th and finally got someone. She said she had returned all calls, gave her my info and she said oh, I was getting ready to call you. Yeah right. Asked about the prescription and she found it and she didnt know why it wasnt filled. She said she had what I needed and will mail it out tomorrow. Well see. I will not be using them anymore. Find yourself another supplier, these people do not care.

With my insurance company I have to first go through Care Centric who then sends the request to ABC Home Health Care. I have now been waiting over a month for a new mask, hose and filters for my CPAP machine. You call and leave messages with a number they need to contact you and no one ever calls. Ive come to the conclusion the reason my allergies are so bad is because I need the new supplies for the CPAP. What is the deal? Are you there ABC?
