This company is terrible! You cannot ever speak with a local Richmond representative instead bouncing to a call center in North Carolina. When I requested them to pick up all their equipment which was no longer needed they told me someone would call back to schedule a pickup in 2 days. They never called back. Had to go back to call center and expressed my frustration and was told they would schedule a pickup (again). Instead they just came to the house when I wasnt home with no warning. Billing is no better. They are charging a monthly fee to my credit card but also sending me invoices with payment due notices in the mail. They charged me even after the equipment was picked up so I have to call yet again. Customer service is horrible. Only positive thing to say is that the drivers are friendly and courteous. But they should all find a new place to work.

My hubby has been with Lincare for a few years. Weve not had too much trouble with them. They regularly inspect the machine and bring new tubing. I just made a call, and took no time at all for someone to answer the call, take my information, schedule date, etc... took less than 8 minutes total. She was very nice and helpful.

I wish I had read the reviews before having CPAP prescription sent here. The only time of day that’s best to call is at 4:30 because they close at 5pm and are not open on weekends! Oxygen is vital for many people for many reasons and different health needs! I hate leaving a bad! Maybe they will tighten up their operations looking at these 1star reviews

Lincare could care less. They don’t show up as scheduled and don’t return calls. Run, don’t walk, to another home healthcare service. Occasionally you will get a good employee, but that is unusual. Glo came today to train us on new equipment, and she was great. She was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise customer unfriendly business. I suspect the problem begins with management.

Can’t get people to pick up the phone to take my order for my portable oxygen tanks. Customer service is the worst, except for their wonderful delivery people! The delivery people are courteous and polite! But the rest could take a serious lesson from the delivery people. Regular customer service is mechanical, at best.

I have worked with many agencies in five states where Lincare operates and I have been fortunate enough to have met very kind and considerate people. So many have gone beyond the call of duty and outside of their job description to see that I was taken care of properly. And also, it is really important to me to be able to call and reach a human being willing to listen to your immediate problem. Thank you Lincare.

I recently started working with this company because my acct was transferred to them without my having a choice from the previous company i worked with. They called and asked about my supply needs, which I appreciated. However, when the supplies didnt arrive in the next couple of weeks i called them. Thats when I was told they needed the memory card from my machine in order to process an authorization request. I sent it right away and called two days later to confirm receipt. I was told they had it and I should hear from someone in a few days. When I didnt hear anything, again for more than two weeks, i called them. I was told my card was corrupt and they had to send another one out. The person I spoke to was very pleasant and said she would send it UPS. My concern is why I never received notification of any of these issues. Ive been without the needed supplies since March. Two months later I still dont have what I need. Hopefully their service will improve and they are just overwhelmed with all their new clients.

Lincare needs training in customer service, I gave them one star but that rating is too high. I received ths wrong cpap supplies and have been trying to return it for a week. Apparently ups is supposed to pick it up and they have not shown up. I called the local office to see if they would take it but was told thatI have to deal with the supply office that handles equipment. I was the placex on hold for five minutes, but i stead of getting back to me, the lady hung up.

Waited for 2 weeks for a nebulizer. When I called they told me they didn’t have my insurance information. My doctor’s office had sent it along with the order. I knew this to be a fact. I gave it to them again. Days go by so I call again. Said they were waiting to hear from my insurance company. I called my insurance company only to be told they do not cover a nebulizer. It took 2 weeks to find this out in 1 minute. They definitely did NOT do their job & I was without treatment for weeks. They obviously don’t care about their patients.

LINCARE continually provides oxygen to my wife to keep her alive- thats ALL that matters folks. Theyve delivery drivers/inspectors have always been kind and peaceful to my wife and ALWAYS provide her with upgrades and supplies. Again-peace of mind and comfort to my wife. Whenever I go to the store off Parham road I ALWAYS leave with what my wife needs. Again, thats ALL that matters. Thanks for everything.GP

I have been a oxygen equipment and supply customer since March 2018. From the beginning the service has been spotty. The office staff is awful. On hold for long periods of time, sometimes calls go to call centers and requests never get sent to local office. I switched from this office to their Williamsburg office which has closed and moved to Newport News. In Richmond I could get supplies with 2 days notice. Now they will only come on Monday, no matter when I call them. I spent 3 months waiting for a portable oxygen concentrator after they had doctors orders and insurance company approvals. Kept telling me they were waiting on the supplier to deliver the equipment. If I could purchase my own it would be shipped in 2 days! While out of town my portable oxygen concentrator stopped working. I was given some tanks from a local office and I ordered more delivered on my regular Monday delivery. They wont replace the broken machine, they say they have to repair it. Right. They were suppose to deliver my tanks and pick up the broken machine today. As of 5:00 pm no show. Called the office and was told they had no record of my order. I gave them the date, time and the name the person gave me when I called and they said no one by that name worked there. Bottom line no oxygen tanks until Friday! Reporting this company to my medicare advantage insurance company and Medicare too. I have yet to receive a accurate bill. Overcharged every month.

Horrible! And they lie. Have been waiting more than four weeks for supplies. No calls, no shipments, nada. When I called they said they had left messages because they needed readings. Nope. Lie. I have three phones and no messages. When I did call to remedy the situation, they failed to call on a phone that I use and specifically gave them to call causing yet another delay. Just awful. As American Home, they were great. Lordy knows what happened to them.

I am one of the primary caregivers for my grandmother. She has terrible lungs. She is currently on home oxygen and has the huge tanks to carry with her when she leaves. I am trying to get her a portable oxygen concentrator. I called to Lincare over two weeks ago and asked them what I needed to do. I did all that with my grandmothers PCP and they sent in all the qualifying data more than 10 days ago. No one from that office called me to update me on anything. I called over there this morning and this extremely rude woman answered the phone. She did not even identify herself when she answered the phone call. I told her who I was and she rudely told me to hold on so she could look into it. She came back and then told me that she didnt qualify for oxygen. Firstly, She is currently on oxygen and her insurance is paying for it, so that is a bunch of bull. Secondly, I had to ask this very unprofessional and nasty lady 3 times why my grandmother did not qualify for oxygen and she had the most disgusting attitude. Obviously Lincare is not concerned with their front line employees and the impressions they make on their potential patients. I will find a company that will be willing to help my grandmother and as for Lincare, you all need to have more respect for potential clients and not have someone as disgusting as that lady I spoke to answering your phone.

Terrible! Whats wrong with you people?! Dont you understand that you are in a business in which people rely on you to breath and sleep safely? Yet you cant return a call or place an order correctly? For us who depend upon oxygen, Lincares corporate office needs to address the poor service from the Richmond, Virginia Office. Italked with a person who finally answered the phone, but he was in St. Louis. He sent a message to the manager with an emergency notation regarding the delivery of oxygen to Maine on June 17th. No word. I tried to contact them to tell the staff person that Lewiston and Falmouth Maine are the closest centers for service. I still did not hear back. My family in Maine need to know when, where and from whom this will be delivered. Why such poor service? My guess is they are very understaffed. They need competition!!!

I really hope your doctor doesnt send an order to this company for life-sustaining equipment! You will surely DIE waiting on service from these people!!!! Weve had a CPAP machine for about a year and still havent received new tubing, mask and filter. It took almost a month to get the CPAP machine initially. The doctor sent the order over 3 or 4 times and they were just too lazy to get the machine setup. Makes NO sense since thats how they get paid! Im sure they are getting their hefty monthly lease payment from the insurance company right now so its even more difficult to get service from them! They rarely answer the phone. If you call, be prepared to let the phone ring for about 3 minutes before someone finally picks up. Once they are on the phone, it only gets worse! We are likely going to have the doctor change the order to a different DME provider if we do not receive supplies within the week. Tired of calling and yelling at people just to get service on their equipment. (I know you wont believe this, but Im one of the easiest people to work with and RARELY complain about anything. Writing this review, means they have pushed a very patient person beyond the limit!)

This company is worthless! Made appt to pick a new mask due to claustrophobia. Waited over an hour for tech to come in to the office and then he dilly-dallied around the office and acted like he didnt even know I had an appt---which HE made the day before. I live over an hour away! Now I am receiving auto shipments with the wrong mask parts and cannot get the shipping department to come to the phone! Each time I call, it sounds like someone is disconnecting the line before I even talk to anyone! Too bad I have nowhere else I can go, I will be calling my insurance company to complain.

DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH! THIS COMPANY MAY KILL YOU!January 2017: So, as promised to so many, today was my first day with an employee face to face from this company; Matt. In spite of other reviews, I was impressed! He called me prior to his arrival, (which gave me time to grab my first cup of coffee), once he got to the residence, he explained everything, did a demonstration and never rushed me through the process. So this is a very positive plus for him......now if the call center can improve, (i.e.: explain to the customer what a particular item is and NOT BE SO generic when answering a question, not lose RXs sent by Doctors, and perhaps wear a smile when they are speaking with a person), I would have given this company a five star review. As most of you know I write hundreds of honest reviews to assist you the customer in your decision making process with regard to just about anything. As this is an ongoing process, I will keep you informed! To the call staff: remember patients are scared, many are elderly, and to them, you are the last hope! Reassurance, patience and hope is what they need and deserve! Thanks Matt!Update 2/2/2017: I had the pleasure of meeting with Brandon this week. He delivered some much needed equipment to do some testing. I had several questions and he took his time to answer everything to my satisfaction. The test was done, but was not done correctly (this was my fault), after a conversation with him, he was kind enough to allow me to retest, to make sure the results were accurate. In short, Brandon excels in customer service, with speedy follow up!! I felt like I was the only person in the world during his visit; as he was never rushed. I look forward to a continued working relationship with him and the staff! Stay tuned, more to come!UPDATE: 8/8/2017 In June of this year Brandon was supposed to schedule an in home visit for portable oxygen, in spite of numerous calls to him, this has yet to happen I am of the opinion that they dont careabout saving lives, perhaps there motto is let them die.As a former HR Manager everyone there should be terminated from the top down and replaced with those who use oxygen!
