My experience at Matthews was excellent! From the time I called and spoke to Dan in service, he spent he time to talk to me about the problem i was having with my vehicle and explain how everything worked, and for me in to diagnose and get my car fixed same day. He was very helpful on site as well and gave me great detail of the mechanics findings and I walked out of there with my car fixed and drove home happy.
Service department went above and beyond for me today. Although they have been working short-staffed they were able to squeeze me in an appointment at 2:00 p.m. and get my car inspected oil changed brakes worked on and on top of that I got a free oil change They gave me a free inspection and $20 off I have no complaints They were great Thank you Thank you Thank you now I can travel out of state safely

If you have a Hyundai and your vehicle needs service this is the place to go!!! When I first called, Todd helped me to easily get an appointment. During the service he came to me halfway through and showed me the details on paper so I could decide what work I wanted done today and what work I could come back for next time. It was very easy! The manager even came up to me to say hello! At the end Barb helped me get cashed out with a smile! It turns out on my way home I realized I didn’t have my credit card, so I checked my phone and their was a voicemail from barb saying that it was safe and I could come get it anytime. I love this place and I feel like I can trust the mechanics so I will definitely be going back!
I was able to schedule my appointment quickly online. I had to change that appointment and it was easy to call and get a reschedule. Everyone was very helpful and the work was done quickly so I had a short wait time. I have not been to this service shop before but was quite pleased.

Responsive and helpful service dept. I called with an urgent issue, and they helped as much as they could. And once the vehicle was towed to the service dept, they were on top of things and Todd was great.Hyundai the company, on the other hand, needs a good slap. The urgent issue was my engine dying at 65 mph in the left lane of a 3 lane highway. Silent recall for a faulty engine. I could have died, but they didn’t bother to mention that this model was dangerous. I really hope someone starts a class action suit.

I wasnt real impress and the Sale Agent (Chris Raetz) recommend a better vehicle that got the same gas mileage and look way better and had more feature for the same price. He worked me on my trade and was able to get me an amazing rate on my loan. Then tried to sell a different car that was more expensive and not even the same model. The car I originally planned to look at and buy had been sold for over 100 days. Bait and switch dealership.
We just purchased the 2021 Kona Night Edition and it is awesome! Our Sales person (Trey) did a great job getting us the best price and explaining all the features of the car (which is a lot!). Its so much fun to drive, looks really cool and love the touch screen entertainment system. We highly recommend the Kona. Be sure to ask for Trey if you go.

Terrible experience. Made an appointment to have my car inspected at 10 am. Car did not get pulled into garage until 10:30. Did not get notified when car was finished. I had to go to service desk to ask if car was done. Left shortly after 11am. Inspection should only take 20-30 minutes.

I arrived at Matthews with a plan for a car just to get me back and forth to my two jobs and John helped me right out! Got a great deal and financed for a new 2021 Elantra! Made an appointment to see a 2018 Hyundai Elantra. The ad was older, so I called ahead to make sure that the car was still there. I was assured by two people Margarita and Sarah that it was on the lot and would be ready when I got there. After being greeted and shown to the waiting room, the salesperson Bill went to look for it and pull it around front. After waiting for him he came back and informed us it was already sold. At this point I’m a little miffed, but they told us not to worry because they had something very similar. Bill brought us out front to see the Hyundai Accent out front. The car was there the whole time. They knew the Elantra that I wanted wasn’t there and they set the appointment anyways. Bill pretended to look for a car that he knew wasn’t there only to attempt to sell us a more expensive car that wasn’t even the same model. They’re shifty as hell and I would not advise doing business with them.

Made online appointment for oil change & Transmission service. When wife arrived was told they could not preform transmission service because it was Saturday. Appointment was made over two weeks in advance. While they could not preform that service they were able to add on $79.80 for BG engine additive. Will go else where for transmission service
Chris, our sales guy was very low pressure which was nice. We bought a 21 Palisade.Cons:-Ran credit score multiple times after stating that credit was a soft hit, which I knew was inaccurate since its opening a new line of credit.-Waited a really really long time (but that was mostly because of my insurance company,) although it would have been nice to let us come back when everything was ready rather than have us there for hours.-Found razor blades and cleaning products in the back seat when I put my son back there.-Forgot to put back in the cargo cover.-Was resistant in going over a full overview of the features of the car.I now need to file a dispute with Hyundai Motor Finance for the extra credit reports.

I purchased a vehicle a couple of years back (2019) which I loved but was recently in the market to upgrade (needed a vehicle that could tow a bit more). I went to a different dealership to look around and they ran a CARFAX report that came back saying that at some point before I purchased the vehicle it was in a car accident- now further decreasing the value of my vehicle. This was the first time hearing this as they said nothing about an accident when I originally purchased the vehicle, nor do I have any paperwork stating anything about an accident.Im not sure if theyre required by law to disclose this information (no matter how big or small the accident), but it would have been great to know that information at the time I purchased the vehicle. Do your own research on the vehicle before purchasing here!
1. Car was clean and gas tank full rating 5/52. Salesman, Pat was friendly and courteous 5/53. There was a problem with the paperwork that should have been remedied prior to delivery. The problem required me to schedule a second trip for delivery. The problem wasnt at all related to salesman. It was entirely a management slip 3/5
