I am giving them 1 star and will update once issue resolved. I went in on October 1st 2022 I had a great experience order my glass was given a 14day turn around time. I waited until day 20 to follow up on the status of my glass (I spent $500 on them) someone told me they were never ordered and they would place the order on day 22 I got a call said they were ordered but came in defective and that they are reordering a new lens. I waited no updates I go on on November 1st to see what’s going on and they said they don’t know they can get a hold of the lab to get a status it’s now been 1 month an a week (5weeks) and I still have no glasses ( which I need to see!) I have asked for trial pairs of contacts which they have provided but they are daily use contacts do I literally have to go each week to them to get more (2times now my time and gas wasted) and they never call to follow up I always call and get the same reply “we don’t know what going on with the lab” so now I’m going to request a full refund and reverse refund of my claim for insurance so I can get glasses elsewhere so o can see!

I have been going to Pearle Vision for many years. The staff is always friendly and greets you as you walk in the door. The other day when I arrived to pick up my glasses, Kim quickly motioned that she would assist me. She recognized me which is always a good feeling. When she brought out my glasses there was an error that the lab had made. I shared with Kim this wasnt the first time the had disappointed me and made a mistake with my glasses. Ever since the lab moved off-site there is always a comedy of errors. Kim quickly made what could have been a very bad experience into a pleasant one. I did end up going home with a temporary pair of glasses until the lab corrects my order. Kim took ownership and for that I am grateful. She treated me like her friend. She wanted to make sure that I had a good experience, and I can honestly say I had excellent customer service because of her passion for what she does. The lab seriously needs some improvement.

6 Months, $600+, 3 attempts, still no glasses. I purchased glasses on March 22, 2021 and was told they would arrive in 2 weeks, which is standard for my Rx (over -15). The cost was over $600. The glasses took over a month to come in, and were defective in that they became unwearable due to scratches in under a month, in spite of the fact that in 40 years of wearing glasses I have never scratched a pair. They offered to have them remade -- which took another month plus, and upon them arriving they were defectively made again, not to measurements. This was early June. They sent them back again. They did not get delivered until mid-August, and were again defectively made and not cut properly. The store has to date refused to provide a refund, simply offering to continually have them remade. Their current specialty lab is clearly incapable of producing high-index glasses for those with severe myopia. I would encourage anyone with -15.-00+ Rxs to look to other options, so you do not waste 6 months and $600 to not have glasses. This store was great in the past, I had used them for 10 years, but management, staff, and labs have now changed and they are unable to handle high prescriptions and refuse to simply admit that and refund the customer.

After gouging my wife for her lenses, making her wait for 3 hours, and to date (1 month later) I still have NOT received my 2 pair of glasses. This is unprofessional, wrong, and uncaring. Sure miss Dr. Oifer. We got our glasses in 4-5 days. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I have been going to Pearle Vision for years and always had a great experience. Great value with awesome service. But today I went and I was there for two hours! Everyone was sweet and nice as always but there was a mix up from what I was charged to what I guess I really owed. I got that news as I was waiting to purchase in my contacts. I guess their prices have gone up or maybe it was just because I was using my Humana insurance so then I had to pay extra! Last year I paid $99 total- this year it was $79 for the appointment, $90 for a contact lens fitting and $39 for some other test. Dr. Oifer has retired and I think it’s time for me to go too. This review is only for the Eye doctor’s office and not the eye glasses store as they are two different businesses. The doctor’s office service was extremely bad from booking the appointment to wait times to the testing nurse’s rude behavior to an elderly patient in waiting room. I was a patient for many years at this place to the previous doctor who retired recently. However, the new establishment is terribly disorganized, very unfriendly and above all, incompetent. Sad to see such a well run eye hospital go down so poorly with their service. Will not recommend this place for eye checkups.

I have been a patient for several years. Dr Oifer is the absolute best! Very caring, thorough, and accurate in his diagnosis. I wish there were doctors of equal talent in other specialty areas. Having tried many ophthalmologists, including those at Emory, I recommend Dr Oifer above all others.

Customer Service at this place is terrible, no follow through, they say they will call they never do, you call and you wait on hold forever just to be told your glasses arent ready I have been waiting nine weeks and have got nothing but the run around from these folks, what happened to people valuing their customers, I mean if it wasnt for the customer you would have no business! I have been coming tp this location for over 20 years and the last couple of years the customer service has gone from great to extremely poor!! Respect the customer or loose the customer.

I came to Pearle Vision looking for some stylish frames. Not only did I get those, but I got the best advice and service I’ve ever had! Kim Pantlitz knows more about glasses - both from a style perspective and a technical perspective - than anyone I’ve ever worked with. I’ve already purchased 2 pair of glasses for myself and 1 for my husband.... we plan to work only with Kim in the future - looking nowhere else due to her expertise and service!

Great selection of designer frames! It was nice to go into a place with so many options and have a sales person that knew what they were doing! I went to another doctors office for my exam and they had a very small selection of designer frames so I asked around and I was told to go see Kimberly Pantlitz at Pearle Vision. She had me try on a few pairs to see what my style was and what was flattering for my face shape and the rest was so easy! I ended up buying 2 pairs and so happy I did. I get so many compliments!

The service and professionalism is outstanding. Henry went the extra mile to make sure my vision was 20/20 and I cannot thank him enough. I had my eyes examined somewhere else & bought the glasses there to have the lenses put in. The prescription was written wrong. This place is pass horrible. The wait time is forever and it takes decades to get your frames in. Also I went to just have a pair of glasses repaired which they told me to come bk in an hr… ok so…. that 1 hr turned in to 3 hrs then they said the next day. Went bk the next day and they couldn’t find the glasses nowhere . The glasses that I pd $800 for.They then said I would receive a call once they were found. Had to call them several times to get someone on the phone because I never received a call bk. In actuality the glasses were never found . I will never go bk to this place again. Customer service is horrible. Was in there 2 years ago and it was bad then. 2 years later I decided to give it another try and hate I did because it’s worst!!!

The Dr was great. The customer service during the wait period to receive my glasses was very disappointing. Long hold times only to be told to “give it a couple of days”. Waited a couple of days and longer only to be told the same thing! No attempts to expedite the request were made considering it was clearly communicated that I had broken my prior glasses. This is week 3 ....worst eyecare service I have ever had! So unconcerned!

Be aware, this place is not in network with VSP. I went to look at glasses, first impression was busy office but looked extremely understaffed so that tells me 0 care for customers indisappointing, with few sales people to help you. I got some information womam seemed nice but as soon as the she realized I wasnt going to buy she went from kind to rude in 2 seconds. When I realized they were not in network with VSP but were trying to fool me with a discount I kindly left. This place is obviously an optical that isnt only not in network with VSP but is a mill for customers to just buy and never return. I overheard 2 unhappy customers with other problems but my experience will confirm that this location of pearle vision is not in network with VSP but pretends to be. Not an honest optical store. Very disappoining.

This location has taken a turn for the worst. I have been a longtime patient and sadly I will take my buiness somewhere else. My entire family has been seeing doctor Oifer for over 20 years and I heard a company west point optical has taken over and the service has suffered the lens quality has suffered the customer service has greatly suffered, They seem to be always understaffed but more than all there is no communication, no simple call or text about the status. I have been calling for 2 weeks about my stepson glasses and no return calls and no care for the long wait time for a single vision lens. I am not an expert in this field but I know it use to be done in an hour or a few days now I wait over 3 weeks. I am sad this company ruined dr Oifers amazing business and the new manager she seems to have no clue on status she told me it will be a little longer and I guess this is a sign of the change of ownership. Poor service and truly disappointed all around. If you want glasses in a normal time this is not your place.

I normally dont take the time to write reviews, but when Ive had such a memorable experience like my visit to Pearle Vision in Roswell, I had to start typing.When I arrive for my appointment, the staff was extremely polite and courteous. A beautiful young Lady named Kim greeted me and helped me navigate a plethora of available eyewear. I took forever and ask A LOT of questions but she answer each one with her expertise. Long story short, I got two amazing pairs of glasses, not know about my insurance until she told me. Awesome...and she saved me money for the win!Great service from a great looking woman I might add! When you go to Pearle Vision in Roswell...ask for KIM.

Misleading for VSP in-networking provider. The eye exam(doctor) is in-network with VSP. The optical (glasses) ARE NOT in-network with VSP. Apparently, the optical section is a franchise of West Point Optical. This is misleading and should be named Pearle Vision/ WP Optical. DONT GO if you have VSP unless you are getting the exam. I do like the glasses-nice brands. I paid over $650 for me and my daughter glasses! Ugh!

His motto with his patients was to introduce himself and say: “My name is Dr. Zinney, I am here to help you see better.”I had this kind of experience at the Roswell Pearle Vision Center.I went there to get a new prescription for my 89 year old Moms glasses.When I got there I was immediately greeted and coordinated with Nicole, an Optitian.Nicole is sooo knowledgeable and professional. She immediately addressed my Moms concerns.She also reviewed my Moms insurance.I was Verrrry impressed with Nicole’s professional manner and her great sense of humor.She also told me that when my Moms glasses were ready thst she would come out to the car at curbside and adjust my Moms glasses for her while she sat in the car. WOW, now that is Service.When my Moms glasses were ready, we went to the location and sure enough, Nicole came out to my Mom. My Mom was very impressed because she Knows how my Dad built his practice on Great patient care.One of the other team Members, Henry, came out to the car to meet my Mom too. This delighted my Mom, because this was truly Service with a Smile.Betty, who coordinates appointments, was excellent also with a great attitude.I am very pleased with the care and service we received at this Rosell Pearle Vision Center.The Staff can be very proud of the care they provide.I Highly recommend them.My Mom is VERY particular andddd they really made her happy ❣️🌷

Been going here for years and even with the change of ownership will still continue. Kimberly Pantlitz always welcomes my family with a smile and makes sure we all leave happy with our new glasses every year. They have a wonderful selection of designer frames and the staff is always very welcoming as soon as we walk in to the store. There is never a long wait and the doctors make sure you understand everything that is going on with your eye site. Kimberly always makes sure we have the pair of glasses that we will love all year. The service, knowledge and friendliness of the experts is first class and worthy of 6 stars. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the reception. My last visit was due to a wood splinter in my eye. Despite being a customer for several years and in obvious pain, the receptionist was not very welcoming, had me filling in pages of forms to re-register, left me waiting with no idea of when I might be seen and after being seen (excellent treatment) wanted me to fill in the same forms again. The receptionist is the first interface between the business and the customer and so should at least represent the quality of the business. She failed miserably. However, the actual eye treatment could not be faulted.

Our visit coming into Pearl Vidion has been an awesome experienced.Our sales representative Kimberly Pantilz has been one amazing Representative. Ive purchased 3 eye wear and my favor has been Kate Spade black round framed glasses when she turned magic on them turning them into shades A WOW moment! She been all the help we need walking out of Peatl Vision with A BIG GRIN not Smile lol. Shes a keeper and a life saver of what frames best fits my face. Best eye exam I think Ive ever had. I really liked that both Dr. Oifer AND Dr. Joe did an examination using different methods, and then they compared the results to determine the prescription for my glasses. Both docs are congenial and seem to enjoy what they do. It is a busy place, so calling ahead is a good idea.

I am normally so pleased with this office, and there are actually aspects of this office that I am pleased with-- I love Dr. Oifer, and I loved the (nurse) I think, that conducted the majority of my exam. But the experience I had after my exam was absolutely ridiculous. I didnt receive a paper copy of my glasses Rx or my contacts Rx upon leaving the office, and I wanted to order some new glasses. I emailed the office 2 separate times and didnt receive my glasses Rx until I called (again) two separate times. I ordered a years worth of contacts (over $200 of contacts) at my appointment on the 1st of September. I had called twice to inquire about them since I still hadnt received them after 3 weeks of waiting. The first time I was hung up on after being put on hold, and was so fed up I just decided to call back later. I finally called again on Monday, the 21st of September and was told I would be called back. I recently had an address change due to moving of residences which was on all of the forms I filled out on the 1st during my appointment (this is important later on in the story.) I did receive a call back, but was unavailable to answer, so the woman left a voicemail stating I would receive the contacts in the next few days and to call if I had any more questions (I thought it was simply an issue with shipping, maybe due to COVID). Fast forward to Thursday, I get a text from the new owner at my old residence stating that a package had come for me, so I get there and sure enough, its my contacts, which were not shipped out until the 22nd of September. This was all very inconvenient for me, and I wish the woman on the phone had been honest, and said they forgot to place the order, and confirmed my address. I am thankful that I was able to go retrieve the over $200 worth of contacts from my old residence. In the future-- just be honest with your customers. I wasnt upset until I realized the whole truth had not been told to me, mistakes can be made, no one is perfect! So now, I finally have my contacts 23 days after my office visit. I want to reiterate, that I have had positive experiences in the past with this office, and Dr. Oifer is AWESOME, hes super friendly, and I am always pleased with him, and I recently went in to have glasses adjusted that I purchased online and the woman that helped me was great as well. The issue I dealt with was an administrative issue that was certainly not dealt with properly. I hope in the future, no one else has to deal with this.

Ive experienced this place going on now my 4th visit. The sales reps are commissioned and the service reflects that heavily. I paid 1000 out of pocket for new glasses my insurance paid 500 towards them. To me thats too much. The service is slow and unorganized, one rep has her kids in with her today so theyre just running around unsupervised as she waits on clients. I will not be back.

The staff is friendly but they fail miserably at communication. I ordered new lens to be put in my current frames. I was told it would be 7-10 days, after 4 weeks I called and was told they were in to come drop my glasses off. I did. When I returned they told me temporary lenses were put in because the ones ordered didn’t fit properly. It should be 3 days and they would call me. After 2 weeks, I call. They asked who dealt with me while I was there. I didn’t remember the ladies name and they acted like they couldn’t pull any info without knowing who I saw. A day later someone returns my call asking again, who I saw. They finally pulled records and had the lady return my call. She was unaware of my situation(lenses not fitting) and was supposed to call me back. Never did. A week later I get a call saying my lenses are ready. I dropped my glasses off again. I return to pick them up, sign in and sit to wait to be called. Ten minutes later another lady walks in and gets greeted and they ask how they can assist her and start working with her. The staff is friendly but the lack of communication and lack of system to track things will be the reason I don’t return as a customer.

Most of my visits have been good. However, I will not be ordering contacts through this Pearle Vision again. When I ordered them, they said the contacts would be there in two days. A week later, I call to see when they would arrive...the order hadnt even been placed. When I go to pick them up, theyre the wrong contacts. The lady was nice and gave me a box of the correct brand from their stock but had to order the other one. Again, they said itd be two days. A week later, I call and find out the order had not been placed...again. Thankfully, the lady working there was very helpful and had the contacts mailed to me since I was no longer in the area.

After 4 months of my lenses being redone and 3 exams, the final OD said, well thats all we can do. I could not see with the lenses I got from Pearle. Almost $800 and that is the response!I went to another eye doctor. After an exam and my lenses were read I was told that the lenses I got from Pearle did not have the Rx for my astigmatism! Pearle redid my lenses 4 times and each time they did not make the lenses for astigmatism. When I said I could not see with these lenses (but I could with an old pair of glasses) they told me it was me, that I had dry eye, that I needed to get use to them.The office is chaotic, always. You can wait for an hour just to talk with someone. Twice I was told my glasses were ready for pick up. When I arrived oh, we didnt know youd be here so quickly. (2 hours after the call.) Give me 10 minutes. An hour later...... still not ready.They pressure sell. They started suggesting that I needed sunglasses, for $400, when I said no the price dropped. After 3 nos the price was $250, and if I get those my other lenses will be less. REALLY? that much margin?CHAOS is not a way to run a business.Take your money where you will be respected with accurate Rx, your time will be respected, and your intelligence will be respected.Oh, and you will be able to see clearly.

I had super-glued my glasses with a wooden stick to hold my glasses as the screw fell into woods while I was in inaccessible cabin. The folks at Pearle Vision diligently unstuck the wooden stick and searched for a matching screw for half hour. They not only fixed my problem but also didnt charge for all their efforts. This kind of customer service is very rare these days. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Can I leave zero stars? I was there before my appointment time. An hour and a half later, I still had not gotten an eye exam. But there was a very attractive lady who came in after me and was seen right away. The doctor told her he love her on her way out. I got to sit and watch the whole thing with my bad eyes. So I left. Thats an hour and a half of my life wasted that I will never get back.

This office is always kind and reliable. The doctors are knowledgeable and efficient, the office staff is friendly and patient. You can find a cheaper eye exam, but you will trade excellent care from professional staff for an extra $20. I stick to eye exams and contact fittings, so I cannot speak to the glasses experience there. However I was having a tough day and was grumpy with one of the staff members who handled it with grace and was kind and direct rather than offended or rude back. The doctor came in and made sure I left happy. This office really tries to keep its customers happy.

Its true that this office is busy. But there are reasons. They have the best eye exam technology available. Period. Some of their equipment isnt even available to a nearby Level II trauma hospital. Their price is reasonable, the owner/optician seems to sincerely cares about his patients and he knows what he is doing. The bottom line is that they are the best, bar none, at examining eyes. When it comes to portecting my vision, I dont see any reason to skimp

I had extreme pain and looked for someone to see me on a Saturday, it was urgent. Knowing the urgency other I doctors I called were saying they were booked.I called pearl vision in Alpharetta and David said come in now. I had a chemical burn on my eye that was very bad. David was very thorough he even called a colleague for a second opinion who specializes in these types of injuries. His colleague was at the gym on a Saturday and rushed over. They both treated me for almost 90 minutes. It has been a long time since I have been treated with such compassion. I recently had my glasses stolen and needed to get them replaced. All I needed to do was order my normal frames and get the receipt for my insurance company. I called to see how much it would be to get them replaced and was told someone would call me back ASAP. Never heard from anyone. I called back and asked for my receipt from my original pair emailed to me. I was told they would email it to me that night. Did they? No. Finally, I show up at Pearl Vision to order my glasses in person. I waited for 45 min before I was even helped. A lady finally took me to her desk to help and next thing I know she is helping someone else. I finally get my glasses ordered after being there for an hour and a half and the lady tells me my glasses will be ready by the Wednesday or Thursday of the following week. I call Wednesday to see if they are ready and I was told I would get a call back ASAP when the lady I ordered from stepped back in. I did not get a call so I showed up Thursday. I sat and waited (just to see if my glasses were in) for 40 minutes before anyone ever spoke to me. I finally get helped and, guess what, my glasses werent in yet.. If someone would have called me back in the first place I would have known they werent in yet and wouldnt have had to sit and waste time. Worst service ever. I will never go back.

Very busy location. They have a huge selection and a Friendly doctor. They will work with insurance and they try to be accommodating. But its always busy so you better be prepared to wait and wait.

Update 4/15/19:Wednesday, finally called and said my glasses are in. After 3 weeks THEY ORDERED THE WRONG FRAMES. Asst. MNGR happened to be in and nobody informed her of the Situation until then. She promised to make things right.I ordered two pairs of glasses on 3/21/2019. I wasnt told the turn around time for the frames that didnt need to be ordered. I called on 3/25/2019 and was told that they had to order my lens for the frame they did have in store and had to order both frame and lens for the other pair. The man the picked up the phone misheard my name and left me on hold for over 10 minutes even though I spelled my name out for him multiple times. The man tells me hes going to call me back, he doesnt. I call back hours later and was told they would be ready 3/27/19.I called on 3/27/2019 around 3pm. The woman on the phone left me on hold while they searched for my glasses, then after a very long time on hold again she told me they hadnt arrived. I asked her What about the other pair? She didnt see I had two pairs at first (not a big deal). She tells me theyre ready. At this point I had waited to take lunch at work so that I could spend it picking up my new glasses.I drive over and as the other reviews suggest, waited quite a long time just to pick up frames. A man comes out of the back and tells me my frames hadnt even arrived yet. I tell him I ordered two pairs and was told my glasses are ready over the phone. He goes to the back to check and I am left waiting for another 20 minutes. At this point I have to leave to go back to work. He comes out saying they got confused and one pairs lens did arrived but theyre not ready and will be ready in 30 minutes. Im still ok with everything at this point and tell him Ill just come pick them up after work. I was also told that the frames they had to order hadnt arrived yet and should be in the next day and ready by the end of the next day.I call again on 3/28/2019 after 3pm. A woman answers, and puts me on hold for over 10 minutes while she checks the status of my frames that should have been delivered the previous day. She doesnt know why they havent arrived and tells me shes going to call me right back after getting more information. She never calls me back. I call back after 5pm and they dont have any additional information and tell me theyre going to have the manager look into it because something is strange and theyll call me back early the next day. They never call me back.I call back again on 3/29/2018 at around 4pm. Get placed on hold for another 10 minutes. They see there is still a problem and promise to look into it because the entire order is MIA. They never call back.Today, 3/30/2018. I call in the morning and they tell me the order is blocked. I have no idea what that means and nor do they. They promise to look into it and tell me theyre going to call me back really quickly after they call the company they ordered from after I tell them every time they tell me theyre going to call me back they just dont. I just got off the phone with Jazz after calling them back. She has fortunately figured out whatever problem there was that was affecting the ENTIRE ORDER (not just my frame apparently) and have re-ordered but oh of course they wont get them in until Wednesday.From what I can tell they are grossly understaffed for an entire order to just go unnoticed when it was missing. If I just waited for them to call me I have no idea how long this would have gone on until I finally got my glasses.After looking at the negative reviews (after the fact) and seeing a lot of them have to do with order issues I most likely would have driven out of my way to somewhere else because Id probably not spent so much time on hold and rudely told Id get a call back (and not actually getting one).It was obvious there was a problem after the frames didnt show up on Wednesday and they just ignored it. It took me calling every single day to actually get someone to address the issue. Theyre nice people but prepare to wait forever.

From the moment I stepped foot in the door, I was very pleased. This place was super busy with patients, the phone ringing, and the doctor calling the girls names, but the pressure didnt stop them from smiling and being helpful to each patient!! Awesome!!

Im new to the area, and initially chose Dr. Oifer and Pearle Vision because the office is close to my home, and accepted my insurance. This was truly the best doctors appointment and visit I have ever had!Firstly, the staff is extremely pleasant and friendly, particularly, Kelly, Dave, Harvey, and Dr. Oifer. It was as if I had been a patient for years, from the moment they called me back to begin my exam. Dr. Oifer is very thorough and explains things in great detail. We talked about kids, family, my work, his practice. What doctor takes the time to do that, especially with a new patient?I was there for quite some time, since I was trying out a new contact prescription and purchasing new glasses. (I will clarify that this was not because I was waiting for service, but rather Dr. Oifer wanted to ensure my contacts were comfortable and were the correct prescription, and I was being fitted for my glasses).Additionally, the staff talks very highly of Dr. Oifer, which says a lot about the company culture and work environment. Some of the team has been there since the practice opened.By the time I left, I felt like family.Thank you, Dr. Oifer, to you and your staff, for knowing how to treat and retain your patients.
