I purchased a used 2011 F150 from Capitol in Salem. Jesus was our sales man and he was great! Very professional, friendly and helped us get the deal we wanted. However, there were some later found issues. We test drove the truck and I noticed that it had some vibration but did not think much of it since the truck was lifted with larger wheels and tires. In fact, Capitol had just put brand new tires on it. The truck was just what I wanted so we pulled the trigger. The negatives: Once I started to look a littler closer I found out the truck had hardly been cleaned beside a wash and “vacuum”.I found several spots inside that had old crusty spilled food, grime and dirt and the head liner has several stains. There was even a handful of change left in a fold out cup holder compartment. Under the back seat was an aftermarket subwoofer that extended the whole length of the back seat. I later lifted the box and found it had lots of crumbs, dirt, hair and clearly had not even been touched. The carpet was stained as well. I know that part of the prep for a used car includes a basic detail of the vehicle which was very evidently not done.Next, the annoying vibration became very noticeable. Knowing that the sort of vibration often comes from tire/wheel balance I took it to my local tire shop and found that when the new tires were installed they were completely out of balance and whoever installed them left the old weights on and basically completely did it all wrong.To wrap this up, I was happy with the sale but not at all happy with how they service vehicles at Capitol. I am sure that this does not happen to every customer here and my case was probably an anomaly but there were some very glaring issues that I was left with fixing that I would not expect to have to deal with when purchasing a vehicle from a reputable dealer.

After she explained my situation on buying a car and walked me through the process, my sister and I were able to walk out with 2 used low mileage cars for a good price. Frannie in financing was also very helpful, straightforward, and very patient in explaining the process. Both of them did a great job. I would definitely recommend Andrea. This is my first time working with Capital Chevrolet and will definitely come back for future maintenance and probably another car.

Finance person was the best part of the experience. Sales person didnt really have any influence over our choices of vehicle. He really wasnt listening to what we said, but more on the path of overcoming objections he believed we would make. Bought the truck anyway. Probably wont buy here again. Probably should have went to VW lot again. Lesson learned.

I worked with Angel Padilla to buy a used Yukon. Super laid back, not pushy, and very knowledgeable about their inventory. He ended up driving the car we bought out to our house which was an hour and half drive from the dealership. We signed the papers at our house and he took our trade ins back with him. It was great.

Overall the experience is decent when purchasing a new vehicle the team is mixed with some very new and some experience sale team members. The location is new and clean.My biggest complaint is once you have signed the deal you become just another number. I have had a handful of issues with being told false time lines and false promises in regards to finishing agreed upon deals.

Well, I would not advise anyone who is looking for a car to go to this dealer. We walked in the door and saw no one to talk with. Ive been on a search for a very specific vehicle, in a very specific price range, difficult to come by in todays used car market. McKenzie showed me around to what they had, didnt fit the bill, and she didnt pressure me into something they had. However, on my way out I noticed them taking plates off a Yukon xl Denali, exactly what I was looking for. I asked if it was a trade in, and she made the magic happen. This was beyond a fresh trade, their stuff was still in it. She stayed, on her day off, and I came back later for a test drive and it ended up being kind of late when it was all done. There were a couple minor service and detailing things to be done, so I picked it up the following weekend. I thought, theyre not going to take care of these things on one already sold. But the team really went above and beyond, fixing things I didnt even ask for, and the detailing was amazing, and much faster than I expected. Im really impressed with the McKenzie and the team at Capitol.👍

I took my 2017 chevy Silverado in for a transmission issue, this would be the 5th time the first 2 times they could not find a problem on the 3rd try they changed the value body on the truck, we continued to have hard shifts and slips. the service writer then informed me they wound not fix the truck because it had been in a accident. Come to find out chevy has a big issue with this transmission even though the truck is still under warranty they will not fix it.THEY HAD THE TRUCK 2 WEEKS AND NEVER CALLED ME ONCE EVEN AFTER I CALL 5 TIMES

We recently contacted Capital Chevrolet about one of their advertised lease specials. After discussing the rate and if we were eligible we felt confident making the hour drive to sign and pick up the car. We were assured that the price only included GM rebates and incentives and a Costco-offered rebate, but no state rebates which we would apply for on our own.When we arrived we met with Casey, who was pleasant and helpful. He allowed us a brief test drive before we sat down to discuss numbers. It took a little back and forth to arrive at the amount that we were quoted, but eventually we did. As we began to sign the paperwork we arrived at the state rebate paperwork. We explained that we had clarified before the drive up that the lease price didnt include this state rebate. The online price breakdown made no mention of the rebate being included in the price, nor was that rebate mentioned anywhere in the ad, and the salesman agreed that it should have been listed.We walked away from the lease, and wasted an afternoon, due to this misrepresentation. A lot of time could have been saved if the information in the vehicle listing was correct (it wasnt) or if our questions had been answered clearly prior to making the trek to the dealership.

If you come here for a car, ask for Angel. He truly lives up to the name. Extremely friendly and helpful. Buying a car is always a lengthy process but Angel was never far away and made sure to check in at every step to ensure comfort and confidence the entire time. Thank you, Angel!

Went to Capitol Chevrolet to finally buy a chevy trax that I had my eye on for a week. After locating the car, I went into the dealership to talk to a salesperson . Danielle approached me with a warm welcoming smile . She asked how could she help me. I requested a test drive for the trax and she immediately got the keys and suggested I take the car on the freeway to get a good feel for it. After I came back and told her I was still interested in the car, she took me into an office and explained all the paperwork and stuff. I have purchase several vehicles from Capitol Chevrolet in Salem, Oregon. They’re nothing but welcoming smiles and greetings when you walk through the door.
