Just got back from this store almost 1k richer. And it was JUNK and the most ugly broken stuff I have ever seen. My mom was the queen of the ugly jewelry and I had no idea that it and a bunch of broken sterling jewelry would be worth that much. No only that, they also popped the larger diamonds and other stones out of them so could have them reset if I wanted to. They also repair jewelry, so I dropped off a piece for repair and they took the cost of the repair out of my haul!! They have one of those metal guns that tells them whether the item is a precious metal or not, and if they cant tell, they use acid. They tested every molecule of metal and tiny broken chain and catch no matter how long it took. What a great place.

Johnny and I went here today to sell the last of his mothers beautiful gold collection so that we could vacation to Alaska and Hawaii this summer. Not only were these wonderful gentlemen so very accommodating and attentive, they also pay the most for gold in the surrounding area.I had a pleasant experience looking at the silver ring collection they had at the front desk. These people took advantage of my mother in law period. She is not the sharpest tool in the shed and they knew it. She took gold to these people which was worth atleast $2500 gave her $1010 on a pawn slip with no weight info on it. It said we had until the 4th to redeem it. Went there on the 3rd and was told all sales are final and it had been melted down already. We wanted to get it back because we knew it was worth more and were told to go f#*k ourselves. I would never do business with these people if I were you if you dont know anything about your metals. Remember this everytime they have their commercial on TV and make sure you let people know that they are suspect.

Ive spent good money here back when they sold jewelry. One of which is a gorgeous 14K ring with a huge garnet gem Ive had for 7 months. Took it in for routine maintenance (prongs were loose) and they fixed that. They also CHIPPED my stone. When I got the ring back they claimed it was an inclusion in which case there was nothing they would do, BUT if it was a chip they would replace the gem. I took it to get a second less biased opinion and sure enough it was indeed chipped. Once I showed them proof it was chipped they went back on their word and told me it would not be cost effective for us to replace it. You PROMISED to replace the stone because it was entirely your fault! You chipped my expensive stone and would not cover repair costs for your mistake!This business will not uphold their promises and blame you for something that they did.

Every time I go into this place to sell gold they lowball me. Im not talking about a couple hundred bucks Im talking about a couple thousand dollars less than what the price should be based on the spot price of gold. I have to counter offer and do my own math every time to show him that I know what Im talking about before I get a fair price. I wonder how many people get scammed by this place daily. The people at the counter are friendly but definitely dont seem to be very honest.

I have been in twice now to find jewelry for my beautiful wife. These folks are great. The selection is relatively small but it is continually rotating and everything is unique.The prices are way better than any of the retail or mall shops. I like how the place is very secure, locked down and one of the fellows open carries a Glock on his hip!I will continue to make this my first stop when I need jewelry.

When I lived in Salem, I bought a few silver and jewelry items here for gifts. After moving 3+ hours away in WA - I drove down to the Portland area and searched all over for a wedding ring without finding anything really appealing. I remembered this store in Salem, and it was worth the extra drive to find just what I wanted. Plus its a better quality ring - at a much, much better price than anywhere else.Its a bit tricky to get into their parking lot though, so I turn around in the one just past it.

Here, they scientifically analyzed my items with specialized equipment, and used current market prices (displayed on a news feed right at their counter) to accurately appraise their value. As buyers, they work with high transparency and were happy to educate me on specifics affecting value. They also appreciate an informed customer; I told them I wanted to check around with a few other shops, which they welcomed. They will try to meet or beat competitors legitimate offers, so be sure to get competitors business cards and take good notes on offers. They did this for me, beating a competitors slightly better offer on a couple of items when I returned the same day. This was a great experience, and I would gladly do business again.
