I checked in here to see if maybe they opened today, alas, no, but while Im here, let me post a long-overdue review.This is one of the best stores in the city, maybe even the state. Their selection is amazing-theres always something new and cool in the windows, and so reasonably priced. Ive walked out of there with a bagful of delights for about a hundred bucks. Its not overpriced tourist jewelry; its great stuff and the first place I go to for gifts.Theres also a large selection of higher-end jewelry, including diamonds and gold, sterling too. The owners are so nice and I love this store. Appropriately, it was the very last store I visited before the COVIDpocalypse. Cannot wait for them to reopen.

Great place to get batteries installed in your watches. Friendly and will give you good value for coins you sell them.

Trustworthy, friendly, fair and very knowledgeable. Shop has very unique jewelry at very reasonable prices. If you need a new battery for a watch, they replace watch batteries within minutes for $3.99!! It’s near impossible to buy a watch battery for that price let alone have it put in within 5 min! Great place a true hidden gem in Derby Wharf.

Ive had repairs done at RJ Coins and have always been pleased with the results. They insist on making things right and always have the repairs ready for pick up when they say theyll be ready. I love walking around to see whats new. Great owners who are always pleasant and knowledgeable. Whoever is behind the counter will always greet you with a smile and nice hello. I couldnt be happier with my experience at RJ Coins. I recently had a ring made for my daughter using my mothers diamond. The attention to detail and the communication every step of the way made me feel so cared for as a customer. I am pleased beyond my expectations and I always enjoy coming to this store. The jewelry is presented so beautifully and there is such a selection. I have also bought nautical bracelets here in the past and given the stores location it couldnt be a better place to purchase a nautical piece of jewelry!

My fiancé found me the most beautiful engagement ring here! I cant think of enough nice things to say about the sweet couple that owns the shop too; they stayed open late twice for me to drop off and pick up my ring for sizing. They really went above and beyond for us and I will recommend them to everyone I know! Selection was great, pricing was great... we will definitely be back to look for our wedding bands!

RJ’s is just the local business I was looking for to fix my engagement ring that is a family heirloom. So happy I worked with them! They were all super friendly and very helpful with their knowledge and insight. I am on the hunt for a certain type of wedding band and they helped me looked online and offered to have something shipped to the store. I never felt any pressure. They quoted me on fixing my engagement ring and stuck to that quote. My newly sized and polished engagement ring is brand new again! I will absolutely be recommending them and will be going back.

I have sold jewelry and bought a beautiful adjustable gold chain and couldnt be happier with it. Also bought Roman glass ring and necklace that I get compliments on every time I wear! Love this shop and owners are most helpful and friendly.

There is more to this store than meets they eye! I have been passing this store for many years, stopping in to buy from the coin box with nieces & nephews, but not actually LOOKING AROUND! An emergency brought me in, when my ring needed to be cut off due to a swollen finger.....the staff were incredible! My ring was removed and repaired to BETTER than new! I had the time to see that there is an eclectic variety of jewelry (and coins) to fascinate and excite every taste! There are Salem souvenirs, gorgeous gems in rings & necklaces & earrings & bracelets, and gift items for every taste--from silver skull rings to diamonds & jewels worthy of weddings, anniversaries and very special occasions. I love family owned and run businesses. The people were nice gave the backstory of the shop and showed me around. The prices were fair, there was a great selection and I found the Softball charm and necklace that was perfect for my daughter. I will be going back if not to buy just to check out tye neat stuff they have.

They had other customers in the store but knew how to manage and attend each customer in a timely manner.
