I had a wonderful experience and my salesperson Noel was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He walked me through the entire process, helped me connect my phone to my new vehicle and followed up with phone calls and met me at the dealership 2 days later to have upgrades done that were not available the day I purchased my vehicle. I would refer anyone interested in buying a Nissan to Noel.
Noel made sure I was taken care of from day one. It took a few months of searching but he was the most diligent out of any other dealership I went to. All his suggestions were on point but me being picky didn’t help his cause. Finally we found the right fit, and possibly saved me from getting into the money pit I was originally looking to get into. The buying process was quick and Hilary made sure I was taken care of during that process. Mo gave me the best amount for my trade in and insured I would leave happy. Finally they are taking care of the little issues o has with the car as most dealerships would just sell as is. This one came with a 3 month limited warranty!!! Can’t beat that. Once I can get into the new Z I will be back here for that purchase!

Just an overall amazing experience, from the service center to the sales department. Took my 2012 nissan to get serviced, Roland told me lets get it diagnosed to see what issues maybe under the hood. Very friendly very Profesional. Left the car with them and decided to look at the vehicles they had there. Darren opens the door and greets us with a huge smile and asked if we needed help. We were honest from the beginning and said we were just looking, that didnt stop him from letting us look and getting keys so we can look at the cars from the inside. He showed us an amazing certified Rogue that just hit every check mark on items that we were looking for on a new vehicle if we wanted to buy. We told Darren lets start a deal, then Moe (the Moegician) got us a great deal within our budget. These guys did everything to help us, never once said, we cant do that or that isnt going to work. They got to work and did an amazing job. My wife loves the new car, our little girl loves the color. We are just so thankful with having been able to work with them and not been pushed into a car we didnt like or that we didnt want.

Saw it, wasnt my thing after all, and looked at others. Darren G. was my salesman and you can tell immediately he cares about customers and isnt just about pure numbers. Even when it wasnt clear if I was getting something or not, he brought me out a water. Small act, but how kind is that? I did wind up buying something, but I mightve been less inclined to keep looking around here if the service was bad. I was contacted by someone to see a car and we set up a time to meet and when I got there and asked for the person they said to ask for, the guy was clueless and didn’t know who I was. I went in having my financing done already and it only took about 2 hours to drive off with the car. Before sitting down and signing everything, I asked about the screen used for the radio and everything cause it is pretty much unresponsive and doesn’t work, they said that it would be checked to see if it could be fixed and if not then it would be replaced. So I went in a couple days later for them to check it out, and no one there knew anything about having my screen checked out. Eventually they went to take a look and they said that it would need to be replaced, and they would follow up with me to set a time to do it. It’s 4 days later now and no one has contacted me to follow up at all. I suggested negotiating there “one simple price” but they would not go back on that and haven’t done what they said they would do at the price I bought it for.
Hector Sanchez was a great salesman. He actually listen and didn’t try to pressure me into it. By far the best car buying experience ever.
Not sure what it is with car service departments but they struggle with the small stuff, and it is the stuff that I notice. If you check my tire pressure put the dang valve caps back on. All 4 checked and all 4 missing. My dad would have whooped you for that, true story. And it makes me wonder if they miss these items, what else are they forgetting. In their defense it has happened at every dealership that I have had my vehicles at in San Antonio. I had to buy in bulk.
My husband and I in contact with a salesperson from Gunn Nissan by the name of Manny. We wanted to see if we would be able to trade our vehicle. We don’t live in the San Antonio area so we wanted to see if we could come up with a deal before driving 3 1/2 hours to San Antonio. My husband emails pictures of the vehicle to the sales person to show the car. Get a text saying to call back to a specific number and the person my husband talks to isn’t Manny but someone who knows the situation. The person was very rude and has no customer service skills what so ever. I mean just tell us you can’t strike up a deal or don’t want to work with us instead of being very rude and lying by saying you’ll call us back. Whoever my husband spoke to was very unprofessional and rude.

Charles J is a very honest professional salesman. He knows about the vehicles and answers everything he can. He is the type that if he doesnt know the answer then he will go find out for you. We have been dealing with MANY other dealerships where the salesmans are pushy, rude, dishonest and very unprofessional. You know the type that just stereotype the customer right away and just want the sale without caring what the customer wants. Gunn Nissan is the type of dealership that is doing the safety precautions during this pandemic for the customers and their staff. I took in my Sentra for its 10,000 mile service. I was informed that there was a recall due to the tie-rods. The service was completed in about an hour and the tie-rods were fine.
This is my 3rd Altima..so clearly I love the model and upgrades Nissan has been doing in the past 15 years.As far as dealing with Gunn Nissan..the Only reason we came back to Gunn is Frank Wallace.He is an exceptional sales person and knows how to treat his customers.

When I didn’t understand what he was talking about he would show me pictures of what was wrong with my car and what needed to be fixed. And he kept me updated during everything and even I got my car inspected and had a car wash. Very helpful! I went at 5:00pm for an oil change after having trouble all day in finding. I have a new car (Honda Accord, yes I took my Gunn Honda to Gunn Nissan 😉) and this was for its first oil change so I was quite nervous. They took care of me immediately and even vacuumed for me! Jason Sanchez was more than accommodating and was EXACTLY what I looked for in a service representative. Does not try to sell me additional services, listens to exactly what I need and had me on my way as soon as possible. I have been to multiple Nissan dealerships throughout the country and even the other ones here in San Antonio [extremely unpleasant experiences] and Gunn Nissan has been by far, the best experience I have had. I took my car for a complimentary oil change and supposedly my car needs a brake fluid flush. I just had this done in February at another dealership. Did you REALLY check the fluid during the Multi Point Inspection? My trust is broken and I will continue to give my business to the other dealership. I need a repair place that I can trust not take my money. I would highly recommend that your technicians visually check the car out and not just go by the mileage!!!!

In the past, an oil change at Gunn Nissan took time to be completed. I dont want to wait 2-3 hours just for an oil change. However, things have turned around thanks to my favorite sales consultant, KJ (Kevin Jackson). He assured me that an oil change will be expedited, and to my surprise, the oil change on my Titan took only 40 minutes. Yes, I understand that the mechanics must check out the vehicle for potential problems. Sometimes one just wants to get in, and get out.Thanks also to the service manager JT (J. Thomas) who was sincere and handled everything with professionalism.I shall return for my next oil change.
ABSOLUTELY love this location!!! The staff is super friendly & a clean facility. Scheduling my appt with Margie over the phone was super easy & she understood everything I needed. The night before my appt, I was able to drop off my car with friendly greetings upon arrival. Luckily, FELICIA was there and was able to handle everything. We live in South Carolina but were on a trip to Texas. Our air conditioning system was malfunctioning when we were in San Antonio; thus, we took the car to Gunn Nissan. The only thing I will say is I couldve been offered to wait in the waiting area inside I eventually found out where it was location since that was my first time being there and Im nee yo that area. But I will say love the idea that its location by my job makes it do convenient.

These guys were painful to talk to. The sales manager talked down to me about addendums, and how other dealers add them but don’t tell you. They actually added on and inflated the MSRP of a Pathfinder by $6k, and lowballed my trade in by $4k, essentially padding the transaction by 10 grand. The goal here is to take advantage of the current low inventory and gouge the customer. When I asked them to itemize the 6k over MSRP I was first misdirected, then ghosted. I honestly have no idea how they have this many good reviews. The salesperson and manager gave me different numbers each time I talked to them and we’re rarely on the same page, and when I asked for a an itemized quote in writing/via email or text, the sales person said “Why? I mean we told you the numbers, right?”. None of the transparency, best price, best value on trade in values they tout on their website were actually practiced by the 2 I spoke to.Horrible, horrible, horrible. I’ve been driving Nissans for over 10 years, and can happily recommend McGavock in San Marcos, Nissan or Victoria or Nissan of College Station. You will save thousands and be treated with the respect you’ll sorely miss at Gunn.

I was not told how service worked and I parked far behind a line and walked into the the service area. That was not a necessary step and still not sure what I need to do if I need service again. When I first walked into the service area, no acknowledged me and there were several people standing around talking to each other. Then a gentleman saw me waiting and had someone immediately help me. After that the experience was wonderful.

My wife and I stopped in to check their current inventory of trucks. We found two that we liked and we were given the time and opportunity to evaluate both and compare. No pressure tactics and no pushing. Our salesman Mr. Alvarez couldnt have been more accommodating. The whole process flowed fairly smoothly and aside from the usual time spent authorizing the sale through the credit and the financial process, this was a first time experience that was well received from this dealership. Bought a used Nissan Frontier from a local mom and pop lot for my son. Took it in to Gunn Nissan to catch it up on all the services it needed. My advisor John Vasquez was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They changed pretty much every fluid in the truck, did plugs and a tune up, took care of some minor issues like replacing the power window control panel on drivers side, upper/lower radiator hoses and thermostat. There were a few snags with their automated estimate system but John quickly tabulated everything by hand and we were good to go. The work took several days as it was a lot of work and I would have liked to be kept a little better informed about the progress. That is a trivial complaint however as John and the crew at Gunn did a first class job on the repairs. The truck ran far better when we picked it up than when we dropped it off. Everything was smoothed out and running like a top. I will definitely do all dealer related work on the Frontier with John and Gunn in the future.
For some odd reason while having an oil change, the service department had my tires over inflated at 40-41 lbs. They also stated that my battery test failed, yet have no indication of any issues. Tested at home with 12.57V. Apparently, beginning to show signs, but should not be identified as a Failed Battery? Finally, i was informed that they had to perform a recall adjustment for the hood latch that was already performed by An ira Nissan over 5 months ago.. Almost forgot,, the invoice stated that a complimentary car wash was performed, but was not.
My experience was smooth sailing and all my needs were met, our car salesman was Greg Coussoulis and he made my time with Nissan worth while, I appreciate the care that was provided and will definitely return for future vehicles.
Very poor service, they charged me for any little details, like battery check etc, things that never charge me before. Also I requested to speak to a manager, he never come out of the office .. Very unprofessional Im a Nissan customer since 1994, my 1st was a 94 pathfinder, 98frontier, 96 sentra, 06 Altima, 2016 Altima Im very disappointed.... I got the feeling that no one cares about the customers especially when I asked to speak to a manager and he didnt show up, that is really bad.
I took my car in for routine maintenance. The tech found out that there was a screw stuck in one of my tires. I hadnt noticed because it was a slow leak. I had that tire replaced with a new one, had the maintenance work done, and my car inspected and still stayed in my budget and my vehicle was ready even before it was supposed to be. Thank you Luis Gonzalez (tech) and Matthew Muller (Service Manager).
