Been a member of Nardis Original location since 2019. I’ve been to their range numerous times and used them as my FFL as well. Staff is extremely professional and helpful. Just normal people who want to be great ambassadors for the 2A community and they’re rocking it!
Staff was very helpful and informative. I had many questions that were answered in depth. Chris took great care of us. Will definitely be coming back.
These guys are top notch. Friendly and knowledgeable and got a great deal on a Sig P320. Shout out to GM Chris Moseley.
This range is amazing. State of the art I should say! I took a intro to handguns class with Henry and he killed it in the class!! I was impressed by the quality of the building, everything is very clean, RR’s always working, safe to say I am know a member! Took my wife to the range with me one day and she was impressed by the way everything is structured (never enjoyed being around guns or was ever around them) and this range changed her she felt safe! And for the range it’s self, all the equipment works flawlessly! And the men behind the counter are willing to help! Just don’t beat around the bush, know what you want & they will help you!
First and last time coming here. Very rude unwelcoming staff. The selection is not all that great considering how big the facility is. A few good ranges/shops to mention are Shoot Point Blank, a Place to Shoot or Adelbridge. Every experience Ive had going to these other shops/ranges the staff have been friendly, unlike Nardis. Glad I didnt give any of my money to this place. Spend your hard earned money else where, the staffs attitude shows that the place is doing just fine without your business.
Seemed like a nice place but after reading there extensive rules I decided not to shoot there. I would fp
Best place to come to for just about anything firearm related. Took my Saint in with a minor jam issue, caught them at a good time while it was slow and they fixed it in less than 3 minutes and sent me on my way. A+ service once again.
Chris Moseley is the best. You must make the trip here to see him and the rest of the incredibly knowledgeable staff.
The staff are professional and kind. Easy to make small talk with strangers here! The range is organized and clean. Thanks!
Best range in the state! Awesome facility!
Signed a contract for a year and never went unfortunately. After the year I still had payments taken for 2 months and called and I have to fill out a form to cancel. They apparently don’t make enough money to kindly at least refund the 2 months after the year even realizing I never went. I understand the year but 2 months for the little guy (me) is not within their customer service.
You know when you walk into a gun store and all the employees act as if they are gods gift to humanity and Cary major egos and hope one gives you the time of day?Well Not Here !!Theses people are very humble, Personally Iv had great experience here with staff, which is why I became a member.I feel very comfortable here.Thank You.
This is the worst and most unprofessional location and business i’ve EVER encountered. I signed up for a handgun class per the recommendation of the gentleman who answered the phone, all this stemming from my concern in regards to the safety of my family and personal matters. It turns out they setup up clients in order to steal their money by having you sign up for training classes and then email you completely different and contradictory information. Then they give you the run around all so that you don’t have to give you your money back or be provided any services. Then when you contact with the assistant manager Patrick and you provide him your concerns, he will respond by asking what you want him to do about it, you basically have to beg them for a resolution instead of them truly offering client attention and resolution for a mistake made on their behalf. If you want true service and professionalism take your business to Buck & Doe’s that is a one of a kind professional establishment, nothing like joke of a business!
Went there today and met up some friends. It was my first time at an indoor range. The staff was real nice, and very helpful with any questions we had. Ill be back with some new clientele for sure.*Theres an additional fee if your ammo isnt brass cased. Yes, they do sell ammo there.
Awesome staff was very impressed how they take care of you here. Been to many gun shops where they’re rude if you have some questions but here I felt like all the attention was to me ! Thanks Nardis Gun Club for helping me with my selection!
Love this place.I like to build my own guns and they have helped me out a lot from friendly ppl to talk to and ask any questions to always being welcomed with a smile and how are you doing. I became a member due to how warm they make the place feel. I even bring my friends and unwanted family members here when they want to shoot my guns. Thanks guys
Had a great day at the Nardis range. I hadnt shot a handgun in a few years since I retired from the Navy. While in the Navy I had trained and used the Colt 1911 and the Beretta M9. I recently purchased a Smith and Wesson revolver to shoot at the range with my son from time to time. Since I hadnt had a revolver in over 30 years I contacted Nardis about some one on one training with an instructor to help familiarize myself with the revolver and get some marksmanship tips. My instructor was an Army veteran named Mike and he was simply outstanding. He spent over an hour with me covering key marksmanship details and worked at improving my shot grouping. Honestly Mike and Nardis greatly exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend training at Nardis and specifically training with Mike.
Newbie’s here from New Jersey... my wife and I wanted to go shooting for the first time. We were a little nervous but the staff at Nardis was 100% helpful and very informative. They made us feel very comfortable and safe when we had no idea what we were doing. I recommend this place highly!
The first time I went to Nardis I was surprised how nice a gun range could be. I am mainly talking about the shooting range and not the store or lobby as thats what I have the most experience with. They provide a wide amount of firearms to rent and they have the list online so you can look ahead and already know what they have. The range itself is way better than any other range Ive been to in Houston Tx. I moved out to Houston not too long ago and no shooting ranges compare to Nardis. The distance selector in the range is superior as it also allows for the target to flip and other options. You have enough space to place firearms and a good amount of ammunition. The staff is friendly and really want to help you out. Whether its a question about how the range terminal works or how their rental service is operated. Theyll help as much as they can and that makes the experience much more enjoyable. Despite the prices being higher than other popular gun ranges in San Antonio I will still go to Nardis just because of the superior experience.
Its a great place! After going several times with the family, we decided to get the membership and it has been awesome. Robbie is a great staff member, really helpful and knowledgeable about fire arms. My thirteen years old loves it!
Always a pleasant experience coming here to shoot. The guys on the range are friendly and the employees who mind the store are knowledgeable and helpful. I don’t like that members only get one target for free but not everything can be perfect.
Prices are a little high but hey whatever,it was worth me not being in the 96 degree heat. Staff was really nice and helpful. Took a friend for an early birthday day of fun. She and I really enjoyed ourselves and we will be back in a couple of weeks to rent their p90. They have some pretty awesome full autos you can rent.
Traveling through Texas to go hog hunting, I needed a place to drop in and double check my zero, they charge per day here no exceptions even when they’re almost empty at 11am on a Thursday. I offered to pay $15 for 20 minutes on the range (compared to the $25 for the whole day) and I’d buy ammo from them (even though I had brought my own). The man at the counter was not only unfriendly but didn’t seem to care in the least. Dude just shook his head, used the absolute minimum amount of words and was practically emotionless. Wasted my gas driving here only to have to go somewhere else. Storefront was nice and the store was well organized with a moderate selection of firearms. I might be a fluke here but I left with less gas in my tank and a bad taste in my mouth.
I highly recommend this gun shop. Iv had a few pistols worked on here by Joe one of the gun smith / machinists at the shop. His hard work, and communication is outstanding. Hes a man of his word. Prices are reasonable and turn around on getting work done is unbelievable. The other staff at the gun range and behind the counters have also been knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back for more business.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I came about one hour before closing as a last minute decision to have my girlfriend shoot for the first time. Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. Setting was very comfortable. We were able to rent two rifles. And 200 rounds of ammunition which we took the rest home for under 150. Great pricing. Great place to begin shooting. Gun collection is not the biggest in the world but its all fun. They also carry full auto weapons to rent. Including a free one magazine go auto crazy on your birthday when you get a membership. Awesome place and girlfriend was asking when we would go back. Surely will be.
This is a top notch gun club have been a member for three years. I would highly recommend
UPDATE: Still 5 Stars!!! I got my membership and have no regrets, I took my girlfriend on my last visit and she enjoyed herself and now definitely wants to get herself something. Ill definitely be bringing her to let her get a feel for different handguns!Definitely enjoyed my time there, the staff is amazing! Very generous and just overall awesome!! Definitely cant wait to get my membership and come back!!
I really enjoy coming to this range. The staff I’ve experienced have been really friendly and helpful with me. Obviously an indoor range is going to cost a little more because of the different amenities they offer, but paying extra is worth it. It is always clean when I go in there and using their range helped me practice for my LTC Course. I definitely recommend this range to anyone looking for one.
I to San Antonio to visit family and while being here I wanted to go shot some guns. Upon walking in all the staff members were ready to help us with any questions that my brother In-Law and I had. They had a wide variety of pistols to choose from if your a non member looking to shot. In the 2hrs we were there I had a blast, I even think my brother In-Law who is a first time shooter had fun. Next time I come back to San Antonio Ill definitely make plans to come back to Nardis.
Id been to this range a handful of times and took advantage of a membership special. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have a great selection of firearms for rent of you dont own any or want to try something new. Best range in town.
We came from out of town and had an amazing experience here. Our group of 7 had a wide range of experience from never shooting before to shooting on a regular basis. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, giving pointers where needed and taking time to explain any questions we’ve had. The prices are comparable and normal for a range. Would absolutely go back and highly recommend.
Great place to shoot, great prices on memberships. I got my gold membership for the same price as a silver membership at that new place on 1604 and way better benefits! Like using free rentals, guest passes and free use of a machine gun on your birthday!! Great friendly staff!! The range master took the time to help my daughter and give her some quick first time shooter tips!!
PRICES. First thing Im sure a lot of us want to know. If youre just going to stay for an hour at most GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. $25 is what it costs for one person to get in. HOWEVER, if you plan on staying longer, then I definitely would recommend Nardis. Its $25 for as long as you want to stay, and $12.50 for every additional person. They do provide one free target per guest. The interior of the entire facility is beautiful and classy.
As a visitor to the USA and Texas, just had to check out the club as I read you could test fire fully-auto guns.Needless to say I had a great time. The staff were awesome, exceedingly professional but also very welcoming. Everything was done with safety in mind.Id recommend a visit here (whether youre renting a gun, needing some help choosing a new gun or looking for a club to join): highly knowledgeable staff, plenty of choice and the range facilities are top notch.
Update:Wow! I posted about an experience that could have been better (we all have them). The manager called me the same day to apologize and talk about it. First time I have EVER been called the same day from a company about a customer service follow up.I am impressed. They pay attention. Give ‘em a go! :)
Went window shopping and was assisted by Mark, very nice and helpful. Was a great help with finding a handgun that would work for me and my left handed wife. Went back the next day and bought the gun and an AR15. This time we got Carl, and just like Mark was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back and next time sign up for a membership!
Me and my girlfriend went and rented a few guns and shot for about an hour. Really great facility and the people are decent. I was hoping they would have a Beretta M9, Im looking at getting an 92fs and I remember them having one listed at one point on their rentals page, but it was either sold or too worn out to be used safely as a rental. The staff was quick to see if we needed anything, the range guys were helpful, and the salesman can talk for days about various makes and models of guns. If youre new to guns definitely stop here and ask a bunch of questions when theyre not busy then go to the range and shoot some. You wont regret it.
Ive always shot a revolver and decided to take a gander at semis so I took the Introductory Course with Jonathan. He did a fabulous job and thoroughly explained the ins and outs of a semi. Following the class period, we spent at least an hour on the range, learning range etiquette since I have never shot on an indoor range before. I would recommend it highly for a newbie like me. Cant say much for my shooting skill but trust it will improve with practice. The lady next to me smoked me pretty well.
The staff are amazing, the facilities are amazing, and the training classes are awesome. Really awesome place. Been to several gun ranges (indoor and out) and this one takes the cake. Allows you to bring your own ammo (which seems standard to me, but know some ranges you cant) and gun rentals are pretty standard. Also the membership is pretty cool.
For my first time at a range, and shooting a gun for that matter, Nardis and their entire staff made it unforgettable! Their facility is clean, quite and simple. Their staff is extremely responsive, courteous, and very helpful. I was very pleased with how patient they were with my girlfriend and I not even knowing how to hold a gun... They made us feel relaxed, which made the whole experience that much better! They make SURE to uphold a very safe shooting environment, which is very much appreciated. Definitely stopping in next time Im in San Antonio!
Good, straight forward indoor gun range. You can rent cool guns and the staff are good people.
Just purchased my first hand gun Great place to purchase and shoot Customer service is on point.. I will definitely be purchasing again from them..
Place is amazing, very knowledgeable people. I recommend this indoor shooting range place
I was interested in getting my LTC and my sister-in-law recommended Nardis. I took an intro class since I never shot a gun before and really didnt know what to expect. They had a variety of guns to pick from and a very informative and thorough safety class. Rob added real world stories about gun safety that Ill probably never forget. Small class with individual attention at the shooting range, just an all around great first time experience. The prices for the guns I looked at were all good deals and John even let me shoot his revolver he had on layaway. Im looking forward to getting a membership and going back for my LTC as well.
A professional and welcoming place to enjoy some target practice. They take safety seriously, and will provide ear protection with your lane rental. There is also a shop with a decent selection here, though I am unsure if the prices are competitive. Overall, an enjoyable place to shoot.
Outstanding facilities. Professionally run. Very safe. Great for pistols and revolvers. Longest range is 75 meters so there isnt extended ranges for rifles. For pistol practice and training this is the only range you need in the San Antonio area.
I have not been to a gun range since 2006, and that was with the military. The facility is top notch, the staff is friendly and professional, and it is overall an outstanding place to shoot. My wife and I are still establishing how often we will be shooting, but once that gets established, we will be looking into obtaining membership.I cannot recommend this place highly enough. You are getting your moneys worth with this range, and you will have a great experience.
I have avoided this place for years because of the name the club part kept me away. I was shopping for an AR 15 and stopped by and ended up purchasing a S&W M&P 15. I have purchased many guns but this was by far my best experience great people, knowledge and prices and not pushy. I even signed up for a membership. Check the place out.
I took my 13 year old for her birthday and had a private lesson with Rob. He is such an amazing and patient instructor. Everyone at Nardis was really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.
All around great fun for the family and friends as well. The staff were very helpful in providing instruction to those that were unfamiliar with guns. Prices are extremely reasonable considering the amount of amenities the club offers. I saw many families there enjoying quality time. The Café food is exceptional, offering fresh meats and breads. Its a high class indoor range without high class prices. I will return again for more fun and needed practice.
Pistol and rifle are separated. Thank you Nardis. I had a great experience. Shot 250 rounds of 38 special reloads out of my snubby. And 200 rounds 40 S&w out of my Beretta 96fs. I love that there is no hurry here. Practice and take your time. Be a sharp shoot. Dont worry about the clock. Staff is very friendly. My visit was a test. It gets an A++. I am becoming a member.
Never shot or held a gun, took the class and it was okay...I wish the class time had more hands on with the gun it was a real quick once over.but when we got to the gun range we really got hands on stance and arm position, we did do that in class too but our teach came over and corrected us on our positioning and such.Had the staff not been such great people; informative, friendly, and just plain down to earth people. Id probably never shoot a gun again.I am not a gun enthusiast at all, more towards the opposite side, but if the opportunity presented itself I might just shoot again if its back at this place.
Clean well-maintained indoor range. Very friendly and helpful staff. Id say the store is medium sized with most everything youd need. The range has a decent variety of guns for rent including some interesting things like suppressed guns, a Desert Eagle, and machine guns. I visit regularly and definitely recommend Nardis.
I could give this place 4 or 5 stars (its a decent place to shoot and the workers were friendly)...but the insanely high cost prohibits me from giving more than 3 stars. I took my wife to this range last night for an hour and it cost me $32.50 to shoot with our own guns and our own ammo. And they told me I got a discounted rate! No joke! I will not likely return to Nardis again...it is just WAY too expensive!!! When we went last night...it was pretty dead...(not many customers there). I think they could do much better if they cut their prices in half. Super high prices will keep a lot of people away (including me).
Just called to ask about range prices, was rudely interrupted by MIKE as he went on to tell me the cost. I had other questions about ammo cost and rental for specific guns but decided to cut the convo short due to his poor customer service. I even told him thanks (not in a sarcastic manner) and he just hung the phone up... smh im sure he will deny these claims and thats why every business should have calls recorded for QUALITY ASSURANCE! Guess I’ll continue to look elsewhere.
It was mine and my wife’s first time at a gun range and shooting a gun. The staff there is awesome and welcoming. They answered all our questions and even answered questions we didn’t think to ask. We are now members there and look forward to going often. We also tried the range today and it was AWESOME!
Nice place to shoot indoors. Friendly and knowledge filled staff. All things you could need under one roof. They even have food. And as for the random Google user who put 2 stars, its an indoor club. No one wants to stand around you blasting black powder all in the air we breath. I think its time for you to write an honest review.
Nardis Gun Club has always been a great place to shoot. I’ve just had then worst interaction with an employee of an establishment. This encounter was like watching Facebook videos of grown adults acting like animals. I was verbally provoked, this weak individual had a way with words. I asked him what his problem was. He stated what seemed like well rehearsed lines. Kinda like Zimmerman used. This kind of person makes it hard to carry. Give him a firearm and he will instigate and provoke his way into a situation that clears him to fire on someone. Sean will be the only reason I or anyone I’ve ever known or have worked with will not be utilizing the fine facilities of Nardis again. I was about to sign up for a membership seeing as how I frequently entertained clients and customers at Nardis. I will be looking elsewhere now. Nardis can keep Sean and lose a customer.
Visited the UK last month with my daughter and her partner.I have never fired a gun before so was somewhat nervous and reluctant. The guy with the shaved head and glasses( sorry cant remember your name ) was amazingly patient and went through everything with me.Had a great afternoon and would definitely go back. Thank you..
Nicest gun club in town. More like a country club. Folks are very friendly. The range marshals can see all lanes through glass so I feel its very safe. The staff is very knowledgeable. Can bring your own ammo (as long as its brass). I went one time and joined that same day. Quite a few military people are there during the week every time I go. Have taken friends and they joined, too. I am a woman and sometimes intimidated when I went to outdoor ranges here in town - but Nardis is different. Highly recommend.
Very rude staff will not recommend this place to my friends or the public and I would like to give this people a zero
Great range facility. Plenty of options for weapons to rent. Service was wonderful and very professional. The prices were a bit high, but considering the environment and services, still well worth it.
Great choice of guns and targets to choose from. Great services. Helpful staff, no nonsense. Good fun!
The cashier guy is not very customer service friendly. Smile geez. everyone else was helpful and pleasant. We wanted to go there so I could try different pistols but its $15 per pistol, so the one I chose I didnt like so back in the same boat, still dont no which one to choose. They should allow you a few different ones especially if you know right away that you dont like it.
Am a retired disabled veteran. Been a member for years. Nardis has always been there for my range and gunsmithing needs. My go to gun club. Thanks Nardis and staff.Sgt. Buff
Took my chl class and passed. One day few hours on a Saturday. Great indoor range, automated. Rapid fire ok at least it was few years back. Rentals. Range Membership available. Separate side for LE. Nice!
This is the very best indoor range I have ever visited. We have been shooting here for over a year and recently become members which save us a lot if money with as much time we spent here.Great group of guys running the place and they are very safety orientated which means a lot to us.Yes they are more than the outdoor ranges but rain and Mosquitos not being a issue or the always expected off the wall shooter a few stalls away not being there pays for it self.Just go once and you will be hooked!
Wanna shoot a machine gun? Here you get to do it or choose from their array of guns and spend the day. Nice indoor range with reasonable prices a great cafe and nice store with a knowledgeable staff.
I used to like going here but feel like its gone downhill. Rates have climbed to much more than the quality of the range. Last visit it felt like the AC was barely working and it caused my eye pro to fog non stop. The ventilation was absolutely terrible, there was a cloud of lingering smoke. Right now my eye is terribly irritated as a result. Will not be coming back unless they have some kind of remodel to update the deteriorating range.
Reasonable prices and good selection of guns to rent. Can be a little busy during peak times, but it is worth the wait. Great indoor gun range and had no trouble with the lanes or equipment.
Awesome indoor sporting experience. Plus its the closest shooting range to my home, fair prices for renting guns and lanes.*Just bring your own ammunition if you want to save more money.
Grant is absolutely a blessing! It was my first time shooting and he was very helpful with showing me to load everything, how to aim and how to control the weapons. Such a wonder experience and facility.
This is where I asked my friend to take me. I enjoyed so much. The price is not so expensive. I would like to visit again.
Went there to purchase a handgun - very professional environment with a nice selection of fairly priced guns. All the staff were fantastic and they have military pricing on smith and wesson handguns. This is my favorite gun club in the nearby area.
Call the store looking for a specific pistol which they did have in stock. I asked the counter sales guy if it came with the thumb safety he went to go check but he did not come back with the price I asked them for the price and he got upset it was there anything else I needed for him to look at while he went over there and check the price. I know that would be it found out that their price was higher than the competitor and I asked if they would price match. The guy rudely replied are going to Strealy nine sir I proceeded to want to take my business elsewhere don’t need to spend my money at the shop with people that know what customer service is. I’ve heard a bunch of bad things about the shooting range but I still tried to give them my business and this is what I get I could give zero stars I would. Nigel’s gun shop in San Antonio is my go to place. They were out of stock and will be getting more soon I’ll just wait and happily give them my business.
I took my son for a day of father, son shooting and had a blast. The staff is top knotch and knowledgeable. The shop was clean and well laid out. Not to mention the selection of guns and gear was impressive. Rentals are a smart and affordable way to try before you buy, and with a mix of help from Sean at the range and Rick in the shop I decided to buy my first Glock. I highly recommend everybody give this place a look.
THE WHOLE TEAM IS PATIENT N KNOWLEDGEABLE FOR NOVICE PEOPLE SHOUT OUT TO JOHN TAUGHT ME A LOT IN A SHORT TIME
Started coming here after many years away from the range. I accidentally left around 300 rounds in an ammo can and the staff members kindly kept it safe untill my next visit. They couldve easily kept the the ammo and told me they didnt see it. I ended up getting my ltc here and the process was quick, informative, and well worth the price. I also love the deals for emergency responders and military.TLDR: This range is clean, no b.s, no janky target holders, professionally staffed, AND late range hours. What more do you want out of an indoor range?
I recently went to an LTC class at Nardis and I had a great experience. The instructor Z was very informative and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great experience.
Great place found it by chance. Everybody very friendly and helpful. I was never shown around unless all there is is the store, cafe and range? I dont know but interesting.
Great selection of firearms, Great friendly staff. The shooting range is perfect. Definitely would recommend it to a friend.
Top-of-the-line. Its a little more expensive than your outdoor ranges, but this is as close to a gun-try club as it gets. Great staff, great place.
Love this private gun club. Incredible facility! Great gun range and store. We live our membership there.
Staff is way better that Galls and checkout does not take 30 minutes either. They dont have the same selection as Galls but I have found that I like Blauer better anyway. Great place to get your police uniforms.
Country-club like furnishings and atmosphere at indoor range (75 feet max), grill, and pro-shop. Members get priority. Many just come in to fire of a couple mags at lunch or between meetings and run back out, so if they dont have a lane the moment you show up (during the work week) they may have one 15 minutes later.
I took the family here, and we all had a great time! The staff is friendly and helpful.
The range staff is extremely rude and unwilling to give any help if you have a problem with one of your firearms. Don’t waste your money or time at this place. If your not a member be ready to lose your range time when a member shows up. They don’t care about you if your not constantly shoveling money into their wallets.
Just went, very friendly and helpful. Im down from Canada and dont have access to these types of firearms. They were very helpful and showed me everything that I needed to know. They even took a video on my phone for me. Nothing make a good souvenir like a video of you shooting an UZI.
Very professional and serious staff who is always available to assist shooters. I recommend this club over others in San Antonio Texas.
Excellent prices, very polite, very helpful and Professional staff. I got my Tritium sight for my Glock 43x here at about $70 less that at other Gun stores I tried to get info from. (All sights made for the 43 will fit the 43X btw I called GlockUSA and confirmed). I will use Nardis exclusively from now on. The vast majority of other Gun stores in the greater San Antonio area are rude, incompetent and over priced. Dont believe me? Call around with a level one question and enjoy the show...
I had been wanting to buy a handgun for home defense for quite awhile but had only shot a pistol once several years ago. So I wanted to go to the range and shoot a few different pistols before making my decision. Talked to the staff at the range and they set me up with a few different pistols to try. Fell in love with the Glock 19 and purchased one that same day. Glad I went to the range and tested a few options before making my decision. The prices were a little high but the facility and rental options are top notch. Definitely recommend them to someone in the same situation as me though. The original pistol I was thinking about purchasing wasnt for me. Saved me from being stuck with a gun I didnt like.
Great place, excellent staff and environment. Overall an outstanding experience! Highly recommend this place.
It is a very nice place to go practice shooting. And the people there were very helpful. I would definitely keep going there.
