Oct 12th of 2021 … I walked in this store to upgrade my phone at 9@m and yes I checked in talk to the sales persons and he said I’ll get $800 for my trade in phone! I said cool let’s do it. This guy ask which phone I want and I told him iPhone 13 mini! He walked in to get the phone and he didn’t let me see the phone or even touch it! What happens after he got me the wrong phone activated! Right after I have my phone ready for trade in he said oh you only qualify for $245 for your phone. So I got really upset/mad with this Verizon sales person who’s Name is Eddy. After waiting all day at the store for nothing I told to cancel everything! He still said That I have to pay $50 for cancellation fee! He didn’t admit he’s unprofessional service! I purchased a new case for the new phone for $40 which I paid with my card and I returned he didn’t returned my money to my Card! He just did it he’s way and returned to my account and I never asked to do this… real bad unprofessional service at this store on 2980 state st Santa Barbara
Randy, General Manager was very helpful. Had great knowledge and helped me troubleshoot an issue.
Was told the wait was a half hour and that they’d come to my car with the product I had reserved. Ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes with the manager, Randy Rodriguez, responding that I could also go elsewhere to get the product I was waiting for when I came back inside to address the situation. He then got upset when I brought up the fact that I had waited twice the wait, arguing with me in front of customers. All together, this was an unprofessional experience.
Today I walk to the store in the morning the manager couldn’t help me he told me to go plug my phone to a computer see if works because it got frozen couldn’t fix it came back to buy a new one but right in from of me was one guy he took care of him he walk to me I told I was there in the morning he remembered me but he told me I can’t not help you waiting time is 2 hour I say I can way them he say go to other store did want to go I say I will wait here to buy my fhone here he found and other excuses he say o we don’t have the fhone here but right before me he told other people yes we have o the iPhones here it means we has very mean to me with not a reason don’t know he’s mame but is the manager there I know long beard

I love Verizon absolutely the BEST. But please find some better more professional staff to work at this location. Very rude girl. 😒
Not impressed, I was ignored, my situation downplayed and the situation was not resolved I had to go back several times. Even though there was relatively few customers (2) the staff just didnt have time for me. It was like they were doing me a favor by helping me. There was one woman there that was better than everyone else put together and shes the only reason its not given a one.
I was told that I could get a great deal with a trade in, when I came back with my phone, they added a bunch of stipulations that werent what I was promised! Didnt get me to sign though!

I highly recommend Heather and Andrew for all your phone needs I just switched over to Verizon. Heather made sure I got every promotion available and was super kid friendly this helps when you have a 3 year old with you!
We went to the store in Upper State st. In Santa Barbara and I think the representative name was Carl. The service that he provided was the worst!!... spoiled and arrogant person... we went to buy a new Iwatch and iPhone... and because his poor customer service we decided not to buy anything in that store.

Always the same unenthusiastic workers when I go in. I ask for a service or inquire about a phone and the answer is always short with no explanation to it. I dread going here. How am I the one saying thank you and bye and all I get is a mute employee and a blank stare.
Marcos is the man! He sat on hold with customer service for a total of 3 hours trying to help fix my issue. Even after being told he couldnt do something we needed he still persistently tried! Thanks again Marcos
Ive tried 2 separate times to order a simple charger for my moto z2 force.Its not sold in stores. Both times on the phone, I was on with them for over an hour and I was very specific on what I wanted.I was sent the wrong ones both times!!I was then asked to return them in the middle of covid in may and take the buses to do so and I had to decline. It wasnt my fault they sent the wrong ones in the first place.I told them they could send fedex etc to pick them up but it never happened.It was a hassle to get the charges of 100.00 nearly removed from my bill and required another 40+ minute call.I still dont have a goo charger.... Im so frustrated.I want to buy a new phone from Verizon as Im due for an upgrade but I cant get the customer service or even the things Im asking for through multiple departments and supervisors and transfers.The hold times were long and I wasnt able to get to a store because it wasnt allowed due to covid-19.Im so frustrated and I just need the simple things right now.Ive called again since and I still cannot get a phone charger!!My phone is only 3 years old and I pay on time every month and Ive been with Verizon for 5 years now.I dont understand why they cant do something so simple.Jamie

I just had the rudest person at this store! She won’t let me see the phone or help me upgrade my phone! Unfortunately a didn’t get her name she was mad I showed up 30mins before they closed!
I took my friend to this store as she had a problem with her phone. The phone and system was somehow reset and now works flawlessly. Excellent work.So why only 1 star?Well to demonstrate the problem she was having, I used my phone. Before I knew it, the salesperson had taken it from my hands and was going through the settings it and altering it, and looking at things. This is not a Verizon phone, in fact it is on the Sprint network. I told him to stop.This is my personal phone and is nothing to do with Verizon, I was VERY annoyed with the salesperson.I was VERY upset that he did this, and will never recommend or help Verizon customers again.To the Owner.Thank you for the prompt reply.I as pointed out I was very happy with the work done on my friends phone.
Typical high pressure sales. When they found out I needed service, the smiles faded and there were 4 people ahead of me and at least a 20 minute wait. Thought his was a little wierd because I visited the day before and there 4 people ahead of me and at least a 20 minute wait. Seems like a standard practice. The agent, however, was helpful and suggested a fix that worked. Props for getting the job done!

This is a review for both online support and the store. I was told I have to drive 30 minutes into a Verizon store to pick up a new 5g sim car for my new phone. After rescheduling my day to make a noon appointment work and driving 30 minutes to the store I was told I did not need to get a new sim. This info would of been really nice to know before Verizon completely wasted a good portion of my day!
Excellent service and no wait time. Tess was very informative about the phones and plan options without making it overwhelming or feel rushed. She even put the screen protectors on the phones and made sure setup went smoothly, I wish more businesses had quality employees like her! Overall a great experience and I am very happy to be a Verizon customer.
Spoke to a guy about signing up with them and bundling 2 phones and the internet. Lots of options, the guy was super informative and very helpful. Answered all of our questions. Very nice clean atmosphere. Was greeted at the door right away and seen two after maybe only 5 minutes. I love that they take the time for one on one.
If you do not want service, Verizon is your company I have been on the phone forever 115 minutes and I am still waiting. I was sent to a cell phone person and then to the east coast then to calif and then to neverland. I am sorry that I have Verizon
Hours posted here online are not accurate! I spoke to someone at the store yesterday (Saturday), stating that Id be in tomorrow (Sunday) to pick up a new phone, he didnt mention they would be closed... arrgh. I understand the reason for holiday hours, but cmon people, keep your info accurate!
Great experience upgrading to a new phone at this store. Ask for Marcos. Hes on-point, straight up and wont hassle you to death to spend more on gear etc. A much better option than the store on S. State.
Beware: Experian charges $150, for a phone under warranty, that no longer holds the charging cable in the port securely (I use it correctly, with the provided chargers). Verizon wants to charge me $323. to replace it. Meanwhile, the phone may or may not charge. The phone: a Google Pixel. So also beware of that. Its not a great phone. The reps at my local Verizon store are great, however Experian and Verizon are crooks.

My review is specific to my TWO experiences Ive had at this location. The first was a to get a new apple watch. Carl helped my husband and I, he was really awesome! The second was yesterday when I went to buy the new iphone 11 Pro. The store was PACKED. I was told there would be a 25 minute wait, which was understandable. I ended up waiting only about 15 minutes. I was then helped out by Tess B, who was literally a Godsend. Being that it was a busy day in there, i thought i would be there for hours. She literally got me in and out in less than 30 minutes. She was efficient, witty, and really good at the sales portion of her job... without being salesy. Shes a gem verizon..... and really a boss at this location!
Never had any problems here at all. Location is decent and its a fairly big store. The last visit I took our new phones here to activate and they did it with no issues or hassle. Staff have always been helpful whenever I have gone. The place does get busy so I recommend you go at off times to avoid long waits.
There is a huge difference between coverage service and customer service. There are all these 5 stars for coverage- despite the poster being unhappy. No, no no! They wont change their Horrible Customer Service because people give them 5 stars.

Horrible experience. The woman helping was angry because we came in twice in one week bothering her. She made it clear we were not paying enough for our service to be coming in complaining about anything. I think 230.00 a month is a lot. We will never go back in there again and when our phones are paid for good bye verizon.
I have been to this store on several occasions and they have amazing service! Sometimes the wait gets a little long, but it is well-worth it for great service. I have been to many other Verizon stores, mostly in Orange County, and they were far below satisfactory.
Poor customer experience, 30 minute wait was extended because two employees spent 10 minutes asking a customer questions about her dog in the store. Meanwhile there were many customers waiting, employees feel no sense of urgency, almost as if they hope you leave and deal with the customer service 800 number instead of them.
No customer service. Whats the purpose of having people stand outside to tell you to call cs instead.

VZ wireless store located in Santa Barbara mid town area. Parking adequate, but can be congested due to El Pollo Loco patrons who share same parking lot. Two handicapped parking spaces service this lot also.Employees helpful and usually able to get assistance with phone needs rather quickly depending on issue.

Purchased a$600 phone and the charger failed in 6 months. Second one failed in 7 months. Verizon refused to replace the second one and told me I had to buy a new one. Poor quality if Im expected to buy a new one every 6 months. Hard to consider this good service...

Very very helpful service. Carl Jr. Was kind and informative and wasnt pushy with upsales, while still showing me what else there was. And I ended up needing what else . Authorized dealers are NOT an option for me due to their sneaky sales tactics and charging for sim cards.....its nice that one of the only REAl Verizon stores offers such a great experience.
If your time is not valuable to you and you like to wait while other customers who have signed in AFTER you are helped first, then this is the place for you!I will say that the greeter was very nice and friendly. However, I was trying to purchase a new phone. Not a very busy store this day. Store employees then forgot about me so I waited for nothing. Brought situation to managers attention and they stated their system forgot about me. So I left empty handed. Now I will forget about this Verizon store.
Dudes sold me a screen protector becuase it was the best one and put it on. It fell off two days later. When i went back, the basically told me that the screen protector sucks and tough luck. Staff is not knowledgeable or helpful. And Im out 60 bucks. Just buy your stuff on amazon.
The staff were extremely helpful 😊! Opened the door for us to come in. The staff person helping us was very knowledgeable in giving us the information to change from one iPhone to another. Plenty of free parking too.
The Best Verizon store in santa Barbara! The staff is very knowledgeable & their service is superb. Do not go to Verizon store in Goleta. They need to work on their education of service & phones they sell uhhg!

Lets be honest, its Verizon, they turn over staff enough that the same people are never around, but they are the best service in town. As far as options go, they are the better.

As is typical of a cellular store, the staff are eager to make a sale. I have had both excellent service and mediocre service here over the years. Weekends are busy, be prepared to wait. A fairly good selection of Verizon devices. They tend to highlight their HUM product which I feel is overrated. The selection of Motorola accessories is not as extensive as I would have liked to see, they feature more iPhone and Samsung cases, etc. A note about the parking, it is terrible, the lot is configured oddly and spaces are narrow. Ive come close to being hit numerous times while my car was parked and not even moving! Very hard for some people to negotiate their cars around that parking lot. Needless to say, its never easy to park in this location, limited spaces available, and the lot is almost always full.

Big store on upper State Street. Below average parking behind store but spots are usually available. Wait times here are usually 10-30 minutes depending on the day and time. Staff are generally knowledgeable and helpful.

Not upfront about contracts!I signed up for the promotion of the Hum system. I did not activate the system as I began looking at cars that had the system installed. I took back the unopened box with the Hum and was told I was under a 2 year contract. News to me!. It cost $115 for early termination fee. I was never told about this contract and there is nothing stating it on my receipt. I am looking elsewhere for cellphone service. I have had enough of Verizon ripoff artists!
