Ive taken my car there for both changes and a tune up. Very friendly and great customer service. Even referred me to other places for services they didnt offer. Will recommend this business. Its affordable.

Meineke Has been a name that stands behind there work. They have always done a great job and in a timely manner. The employees are pleasant and do a great!

I did a walk in when the store opened on Tuesday. I requested an oil change, tune up, road trip inspection and for my front drivers side headlight to get fixed. The owner, Tommy, verbally acknowledged my headlight issue asking some questions about it. Total was about $400. At the end of the day, I received a call from Meineke saying that the tune up would be extra as they had put the wrong information in and I would need more spark plugs. Total went to $590. They also said it would be staying over night and worked on first thing in the morning. I agreed. The next morning I received a call saying after starting to rotate my tires they see my drivers side brake was uneven and recommended a brake replacement for all brakes, making the total around $1600. I said I wasnt going to keep increasing how much I owed, and one brake being uneven did not sound that serious. I asked how much it would be to just replace that one brake and they said the total would be around $1200. I declined and requested we stick to what we already agreed. I was able to pick up my car around 5pm, to which after paying and walking out to get my car from the overfill lot, I see my headlight was not fixed at all. I checked the paperwork and see he had not put the request on there, but that there was a road trip inspection on there which would have included checking the headlights. While the oil change and tune up were fine for what I paid for, I am not comfortable recommending them to my friends here in town as my headlight was not inspected and should have been inspected for a road trip test. I will have to schedule another appointment with another car shop so now I will have lost extra time, money and another day using my car while I am preparing for a cross country move (which I had also explained to the owner as to what exactly I wanted done for my car before I hit the road).

Very impressed with the quality of work and explaining what was going to be done.

So slow it took 2.5 hours...I though I would have another birthday. Store manage had to show the I suppose new help how to tighten the lugs on my tire rotation change and how to torque the lugs nuts. And etc.....not giving me the greatest faith to put new pads on the 4 brake rotors. I decided to wait.......🤪

I wish I read the prior reviews before I took my car for an oil change to this place. A simple 30 minute oil change took almost 2 hours (though I was there 10 minutes after they opened and no one was in line ahead of me). My experience matched several past reviewers in terms of rude service, lack of respect for customers’ time, and unprofessional attitude of the owner, who mentioned several times that his oil changes take an hour and half to two because he does a good job, which is so appalling as the technician that worked on our car smoked cigarettes continuously while aimlessly traipsing through the workshop looking for tools. The owner did nothing to speed up the oil change though I mentioned him about an appointment I had and he even went to the extent of stopping the oil change if I need to leave. How unprofessional!

I came here to get an oil change and a new battery for my car. They were honest and helpful, telling me that they had no preferred vendor to buy a battery from for my make and model of car- therefore making it more expensive than it needed to be. They told me, if I went and picked up a battery myself- they would put it in for $25. They drove me to an auto parts store and we picked one up. They put it in for me and did my oil change. It was really refreshing to see an auto repair place be really upfront, honest and transparent about their prices. I felt very comfortable that I was not getting ripped off and that my car was in good hands. Chad and Tommy were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again if my car needs any other repairs. Thanks guys!!!!

Came in for an oil change. Called the day before to make an appointment but they don’t take them (which should seriously be changed). Arrived shortly after open and was told it would be a “minute”..which meant hour. Waited an hour and was told it was going to be over 20 mins longer (mind you my hood had yet to even be popped). I went to meineke because I’ve trusted them in other states I’ve lived in. I feel like I got really poor service at this one. I told them repeatedly I had to be getting on road for a memorial in VA. I’d be more patient under normal circumstances but they didn’t care. Nothing was prioritized. Most of the workers were walking back and forth rather than servicing vehicles and I had no impression that they cared about my business. Went to Valvoline and was helped immediately. Will not be back to this meineke.

He gave me his word on when my car would be fixed and honored it. Also the mechanic showed me the problems I had which I like because some mechanics will say something is wrong and it’s not. I would definitely recommend!!!

Brought my truck in and it sat in his parking lot for 5 months. I would drive by at least a couple times a month and the truck was in the same spot. Never moved..I don’t even believe they opened the hood till I showed up and still could not diagnose the problem.

Super happy with these guys. They are true mechanics and will find a way to get the job done. Tommy even followed up afterI had my truck’s brakes serviced.

They did a great job keeping me up to date on all issues. I have an old volkswagon. It is hard to find mechanics that know anything around Southside Savannah especially about volkswagons. It was the usual price for this area which I can not ever afford and hate. But way better deal then Savannah tires both locations. Savannah tire charges around 130 dollars for diagnostics that they cant even do. My car was a pain because my friend hit something. It didnt take a super super long time to fix either but longer then usual because had such damages. Do not ever go to Rollin tire on Skidaway. They had car a month for a radiator they never put in. Also rolling tires environmental procedures are so messed up and harmful. Thanks again Meinike for helping me out. Call me this week for my ac line.

Not polite. We waited long for oil change and the guys were searching for tools, going outside and inside. We told him that we have another appointment, he bluntly say, he can stop the work and we can take our car and go. He dont want to finish it.

This was my third time getting my oil changed at this location. The first two times were fine, no complaints. The service was completed when I was told.This experience was different. I was told that my car would take 3.5 hours. Which was fine. It was Saturday and I knew they would be busy. I left for a couple of hours and came back, thinking I would only be waiting 1-2 hours. It’s been over 5 hours and my car has not been serviced. I’ve seen serval mechanics but only two are actively working and others walking around smoking cigarettes.Maybe the decline in the quality of service is because the regular supervisor had left. I didn’t want to give a super low rating because I have received good service when I came to this location before. This experience was disappointing.Update at hour 7: I called to check on the status of my car and was told there was no ticket for my vehicle. I will not be returning to this location.Update at hour 7.5: my car was never touched.

Worst service ever robed me for 1300 dollars fixed what they thought was the problem owner kept trying to make excuses and my car still runs the same as what I broughtit in for I took my car to another shop and come to find out the problem was no where near what the owner said they charged me for a wheel alignment wich u cant do if u have frontend problems a total rip off 1300 dollars and my car is still not fixed

When I spoke on the phone with one of the men from Meineke in Savannah, he was polite and gave me a quote for new brake pads. When I dropped off my car and they did an inspection, I got a call back from them with a final price AFTER tax and labor, which was exactly the same as what we discussed on the phone the previous day. I am extremely happy to have an auto shop that is up front with their pricing and didn’t try to give me the run around by throwing on extra charges. Would highly recommend for brake jobs!

The owner at the counter was nice but misleading, he lead me to believe that I was getting a diagnostic on my a/c system but said no found no leeks filled me up with and extra pound and a half and later to find out that I had the same problem paying him $162 out the door really for nothing. I wind up going to another automotive shop firestone and paying $42 for them to check the system and they told me the overall problem. He could have did the same thing too, but he told me to come back later to find the leek, and put dye in, but firestone said that the dye was already in it. Its hard to find a honest straight up mechanic shop that you can feel good about not overcharging and taking advantage of you. Its tough.

Small business with honest workers not trying to sell you more than what you came for; they give you advice on safety and what you do need to get back on the road safely.

Second time if used this location for exhaust work and both times it was painless and I would recommend them to anyone asking for their car repairs. Staff is friendly and welcoming and goes out of their way to help you understand what needs to be done. A++++

I came here at the advise of my car people to get my Catalytic Converter fixed. They were very respectful, knowledgeable, and talked in terms you could understand. They got my car fixed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them if youre in the Savannah area!

Takes to long for oil change and rotation of tires

I had a disagreement with the service that was provided and the manager of the store handled it quickly and professionally. I will continue doing business here solely because of that. However, I will note that the rates charged for some repairs are pretty high but with the same token they will get your car repaired in a timely fashion.

Look, its exactly what you are looking for. Had to get some brake-work. The waiting room was comfortable with a TV (that they will change channels on if you ask), coffee and a vending machine. They got right on it. Told me the best option was not the most expensive option. And the price was right. My car didnt crash. Yup, thats what I wanted.

Went to get some exhaust work done on my vehicle. After I drove an hour to there, I was told that the exhaust guy went to lunch and will be back soon. An hour and half later he finally showed back up. Then, my vehicle was finally brought into the shop. It took them almost another 2 hours to to cut a piece of pipe and weld it. I walked outside to look underneath my truck and the welds where absolutely terrible. The dual exhaust tips where uneven and the exhaust leaks at the welds. The mechanic also said that he needs to take a break. After being there for almost 5 hours I told him I’m not waiting anymore and that I’ll take it as it is. Needs less to say, I have to take my truck somewhere else to fix the exhaust because they did a terrible job. Already spent $225 to fix nothing. Place is a dump. Poor time management, service was terrible. Everyone standing around smoking cigs. Would not recommend

Parking is real bad !!!! Too many vehicles pending. Tommy is awesome but what I wanted fix was not satisfactory!!! Maybe to his standard but not mines.

The service and front desk gentleman was AMAZING. The mother of my children came to Savannah to visit, on her way back home her breaks broke,... LOL I contacted mineke and the fella let me get it towed and took care of us same day. Service was excellent and he cominicated with me clearly. AS WE ALL KNOW MECHANICS (AUTO) USUALLY ARE AS CROOKED AS A LIGHTNING BOLT.NOT HERE AT THIS SHOP THOTHANX TRILLIONS.

Could not be more pleased. The guys who worked on my car went above and beyond and made sure I had everything I needed.

I took them my vehicle simply for break pads. There was not one single issue with my vehicle. The breaks I had were fine as I always stay ahead of schedule with my maintenance. Now my breaks speak horribly. Upon telling them to fix it they started telling me that I should have let them perform other services and that there could be many reasons why my breaks are now squeaking. I’ll never spend a dime with this place again

This review is one year overdue... Ive been taking my vehicle to Meineke for a year now, and it was the reviews that I read on google that made me decide to do business with them. Tommy, the owner, is very reliable and professional. He stands behind the work that is performed at his shop and he is willing to go beyond the call of duty to make sure that you, his customer is satisfied. There has been a couple of times that I have called him about an issue that Ive had with my vehicle and hes ask me to bring it in and has done a full inspection free of charge. To me, that says a lot about his character. I moved to another city and I still take my car to him. If you are looking for an honest, dependable place to take your car to get service, I would highly suggest Meineke on White Bluff Rd.

I went to the location on White Bluff in Savannah GA. Fast and friendly. Outstanding service - it was my first time there and all customers was treated like family. They have actually fun while working. I rarely see that anywhere and the price was right which is also a big bonus. I highly recommend it. 2 thumbs up for winning me over. Overcharged... Major overcharge.Did not tighten things when closed up the hood.Left tools in the hood.Car ready a day later then quoted.They didnt provide enough fluid when replacing a part which caused me to break down on the highway and take it to a real shop.

Everyone there was very knowledgeable, polite, and always wanted to keep me involved before they did anything to my car. I had a muffler delete on my 2019 Camaro 1SS and the job they did was beyond fantastic, and they went as far as using corrosion control methods on the welds they did, to make sure that theirWork was beyond satisfactory. Would recommend to anyone I know, I’ll be bringing my other Camaro to them as well.

I was only in town for a training and unfortunately had an issue that NO ONE in Savannah had the capability to fix nor show ninterest in helping to find a solution. Thomas was more than friendly and knowledgeable about my issue and he provided a solution that helped me tremendously. He was accommodating, courteous, and his customer service skills are suburb. His staff was friendly as well. They work by appointment, but my wait time as a walkin wasnt nearly as bad as Id expected. This place was a breath of fresh air! I would definitely recommend their service.

Oil change was completed in a timely manner no complaints

By far the most trustworthy car care center Ive been to in Savannah in my two years here! Tommy and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and most importantly, easy on the wallet. I had been experiencing a rattle under the hood for about a year, and two other service stations could not determine the issue. Tommy and his team figured it out in 5 minutes, and within 30 minutes the heat shield was fixed for less than $30. I will continue to bring my car here for oil changes, tire rotations, and all other automotive services.

Had an issue with my trucks water pump and Tommy was able to fit me in and get it swapped out. His team was great and the mechanic had no problem staying a little past closing to make sure everything was done and I didnt have to wait until the next day. Would recommend anyone to go here and have already have referred a few prople.

The owner, Tommy, is a wonderful man. He is the ONLY reason I am leaving 2 stars. He is very nice and willing to help but I cant say the same for his mechanics. Ive been taking my car here since February to be fixed and every time I drive it off their lot, I experience more problems. After spending well over $700 and suffering with a car I am still scared to drive, I decided to take it to another shop who spent over 7 hours running tests and diagnostics to figure out the main problem that has caused the other issues. The mechanics at Meineke failed to discover that my head gasket was blown and had I not taken it to a far more superior shop, I would have probably ended up stranded on the side of the road. Will NEVER take another vehicle here again.

Savannah for its size doesnt have enough good and honest mechanics to trust. From the few we have, Tommy at Meineke is one I trust. Hes always willing to give the extra time to double check on prices and whens not necessary he would tell and save you few bucks. Anyway, he was willing to tow my vehicle free to his place, so long as he did the work on it; which was understandable, (He did tell me not get get used to it) and I appreciate it. Also, he was right-on a second opinion job and saved me a bundle when another shop wanted $60 before just looking at the car and Tommy charged $45. I do appreciate it Tommy.

The staff at meineke are great! They have always assessed my car and problems quickly. After the dealership refused to even look at a throttle issue I had I took my car to Tommy and they were able to assess the issue and give me time to pay for the work that needs to be done. Texaco always knows what to do with my car and how to quickly get things done.

I have taken all my cars to Meineke since I moved to Savannah, and I must say that I like the owners professionalism and the work they do as well.

Tommie, who run s the local Meineke center here in Savannah, is always thoughtful and helpful with me. The reason I return for my auto-related services to him is because he knows my car and me. I trust him.

Ive been here three times and I always feel like Im getting honest service. I like that they will update you on the status of your car and ask you before they do anything, so you arent surprised when you get up to pay the bill. I also appreciate that they give you options instead of just sneaking in some expensive, unneeded service. Only downside is that youve got to decide to dedicate your day to it, or get there super early, because its first come, first serve, and depending on what you need done, you might have to sit around and wait. Plus side is that they always have good movies to kill the time with.

Not recommended. Tail pipe fix and muffler replace. Gave quote with no options so expected replace with like parts. Welds leaked and muffler was cheapest possible option. Glad I crawled under car to check welds. 2 hrs later after while waiting job was finally done. Still cheapest muffler with added piece in line to help reduce the noise from $40 muffler. Reiterate - would not recommend

Put on a different part than I ordered without consulting me first. Also my brand new car came home with new dents they swear they didnt do.

Do not do business with these people. Tommy is the owner and he is extremely shady, unprofessional and rude. They will quote you one price and then switch it up out of nowhere. Please people, take your business somewhere else!

I have been a regular customer at the Meineke for two years now, and I have nothing but great things to say about Tommy and David. My Kia has over 175,000 miles on it, and they have been key in keeping it running smoothly. When repairs are needed, their rates are reasonable and the service is high quality.
