This was a great compromise for my friend who drinks beer and for me who mainly drink coffee. The coffee here was great (I got a nitro cold brew which was pretty smooth) and she enjoyed her beer flight. Since I prefer coffee to beer I’m glad that I was able to find a place to satisfy both of our needs! The patio area was also pretty nice and relaxing and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Visiting from Vegas and this place is a great stop. We got the Sip Flight which had their Nitro cold brew, a local beer, mimosa and bloody. They offer their own coffee beans and growlers. Cute location and right next door to a brewery.

Sip is a great local business that offers a wide variety of coffee, tea, and draft beer. The kitchen serves simple, yet tasty breakfast options. The quaint atmosphere and soft music allow for a great space to chat with others or work quietly on a laptop. Dogs are also welcome.

Super cut spot for coffee! The decor is very welcoming on both the inside and outside. The staff is super friendly. The array of drinks is super cool as well - I got the horchata cold brew (very delicious). However, I do wish they would serve their drinks as they do on their social media in the cool glasses - they gave us our drinks in just plastic cups.

Love the vibe here! Service is great and there are many awesome food choices. They never disappoint!

Ah, Sip. The name literally make me thirsty.An old time favorite and good spot to hang out and get some work done. You gotta try the kombucha or whatever else you dig.

Our first time here and I love it! Kylie was SO accommodating to customize our orders with a happy attitude. Food and coffee was delicious. Vibe was fun and relaxing (went on a Sunday morning 10:00). Cool decor and music. Will be back!

I went here to enjoy a bacon breakfast burrito. I ended up only eating half because the bacon was not good. On top of that, my scrambled eggs seemed a little runny. The crowd inside was young & everyone was on their laptops. The location is on point so I can understand how they get foot traffic. Next time I go, itll just be for a coffee. Until next time

Bland! Iced White mocha latte Coffee and lemon blueberry scone had no flavor.I tasted butter in scone and it was a good texture but unfortunately that is it.Very disappointed. Cool name though. Maybe their beer is better?Mgmt: thank you for response. We really love our coffee places and it is truly a disappointment to not support local businesses. The coffee was quite weak and so were the syrups and bland scone. Coffee shops in our opinion need to have amazing coffee to stand out, otherwise there’s little point. Most of the local coffee places taste very similar.There is a local roaster that has amazing coffee beans and I don’t know of anyone who uses them currently. Their name escapes me. obviously you have great reviews, but we are looking for awesome coffee to match.

Giving this shop 2 stars. One more than 1 because of the WiFi. It’s actually pretty solid. Only 4mb down, but could be worse. Coffee however could not be worse. This is the most acidic tasting coffee I have ever had. I don’t Think that they roasted there been long enough. If you ever think of a local coffee shop with horrible coffee, sip should come to mind.

Barista tricked me into leaving a high tip by selecting the highest tip amount upon signature and rushing the process, cant recommend service like that. Drinks were great though!

My wife and I used AmazingCo for an adventure picnic and picked up an order from Sip. The salad had no dressing on it and was extremely dry and the fruit cup had about 6 moldy grapes. Hard pass

Always a lovely time at Sip. Their Americanos are tasty, and they have a great patio and open window atmosphere. A nice place to work and write at. Parking is a little limited, so I usually park a street over and walk.

Highly recommend. great spot I always came back to when living in Arizona for conversation or creating.

Outstanding service from John behind the bar. He is over the top enthusiastic and made my first visit here very enjoyable. I recommend the Egg White Spinach breakfast sandwich paired with a Hop Chowda IPA from the Goldwater Brewing Company, which happens to be located across the street.

Really nice environment! Youll most likely see people working while drinking a nice cup of coffee or people getting together! I love their coffee and if you arent really in a coffee mood then their lemonade is always a good option! Super delicious!

My wife heard of Sip on a blog she found and we got the Siplicious Latte, which had chai and espresso. My wife is a big chai fan and I wanted a latte so it was the perfect drink to share. Very interesting taste - delicious!

Went there exactly at 4:40 Pm. Was told I missed last call on expresso. Weird. I work in the industry I would of understand it even more if it was 4:45 possible lol I never experience that at a coffee shop.

Perhaps the best espresso I have ever tasted. Havent tried the beer yet, but just the espresso gives the whole place five stars in my book. Neat space, too, very laptop-friendly. And great music taste.Started with a double espresso, then later since I signed up for the loyalty program and got a free drink right away from that, I tried a cortado as well. Barista was very friendly.

On the door, it says they are open till 11.30 pm on Mondays. Same info on their own website however they were closed at when we arrived at 7pm.

I recently visited Scottsdale and spent a day working remotely from Sip. Loved the patio, awesome place to work from. Coffee was delicious and fueled me well. I really appreciated that no one was an outright maskhole. Digging the health freedom vibe. Would love to visit again!

Really great coffee and delicious mocha!! The large mocha comes with four shots which I love. 😍I love the relaxed vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. There was a musician singing and playing guitar. Created a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. He was awesome and played a variety of songs.Will definitely come back! Great Scottsdale spot!

I had a family member having surgery across the street during the covid pandemic and had nowhere to go to get out of the mid-day heat. I called up Sip Coffee, explained the situation, and they let me stay at a table in the AC for as long as I needed. Great people, and while I am not much of a coffee drinker I enjoyed that too. Seating area is very clean and well lit with no air blowing directly on the seating but still kept at a very nice temperature. Highly recommend going here if you enjoy coffee and a relaxing atmosphere.

BEST COFFEE ON EARTH!!! Nitro house brew is good for you, confirmed... Seriously tho, they must have an amazing water filter like one of those ozone generating UV swiss designs from the benelux which I wouldnt put past the goldwaters using in their personal coffee house, I began to investigate but ran into an extremely blonde, suspiciously bootied qt and was unable to make any further headway... will update if I can find out why their coffee is so tasty

Nice location but no parking, only about 7 spaces. The coffee is good but overpriced. The wait for food is usually one hour and around 9-10 dollars for one slice of toast. Did not tell me the bagel was rye when I ordered. Did not bring any silverware or napkins with food. Went here because it was featured on TV, maybe they should have expected more traffic and hired another cook.

Got a few coffees to go here recently, but it seems like it would be a great spot to hang out with friends, get some work done, or just enjoy the vibes. Their menu was pretty fun, but wow were their signature lattes expensive. I’m all for supporting local business, but our two coffees came out to over $15 after a $2 tip. I think for that price, next time I’ll order a cocktail here instead and hang out for awhile. However, the coffees were delicious!

I love this coffee and beer bar. The place is perfect for a meeting or place to study. Not many places like this where you can enjoy an amazing beer or coffee at a great location. If you haven’t been to sips I’d highly recommend going if you are in the area.

First visit to Sip Coffee. Wife had prickly pear tea and I had house coffee, black. Excellent! Good place to visit if you are in the Old Scottsdale area.

Sip is a local favorite for good reason. Perfect in every way, this house will provide all of your caffeine and studying needs. Bring a charged laptop, but forget the headphones because Sip has you covered in the playlist department.

Fun little coffee shop. used to always bring my computer here and get some work done. theres not a ton of tables so you may have to wait for a good spot. bonus points for having a high table that can be used aa a standing desk!

Great iced chai, but too crowded. So many people were in the space not maintaining social distancing. Barista was wearing a mask and most customers were, but there were some without masks. I decided to take mine on the go.

A quick stop to grab coffee and a snack (avocado toast w/pine nuts & pesto is a win) and we enjoyed it.

Fun and caring atmosphere - open mics (now on Tuesdays) are organized very well and the support for the artists is more palpable than at other venues. They also do a range of other events (salsa, yoga...) - kudos to the owners and staff for creating a true community building experience right here in Scottsdale.Oh, and the beverages are amazing too!

NOT VEGAN FRIENDLYHonest Review (Note: I usually always leave positive reviews) I’ll start off by saying that I’m not impressed with the customer service. I called to ask about potential vegan bagel options and was met by a woman with zero interest in helping me. She said that they didn’t carry any and was fairly rude about it. However I called a second time to ask about other options than just the bagels and she admitted that she had no idea what she was talking about. She didn’t want to check the Ingredients list or even ask for help. So the moral of this review is that this is not vegan friendly or welcoming environment. I’ve heard awesome things about this place however as of right now I’m not a fan.

Especially, appreciate @Olivia who makes Saturday mornings so relaxing and fun-filled. She always takes care of you, lifts your spirits and suggests the most awesome drinks (that I wouldnt have thought of)!

This place is a very neat concept, but executed terribly. I came here to study and bought the coffee, only for the WiFi not to work and the staff being too unfriendly to help despite asking multiple times. I believe that if you run a business, customers should be your priority. They are your business. I would’ve supported and bought coffee here every day, had they been accommodating with something as basic as working WiFi. I sat there trying to make it work for over an hour, and not once have they checked up or tried to help. Customer service goes a long way. This how you build loyal support but they missed out.

Its a shame because the coffee is amazing but the staff isnt they have a horrible attitude problem. Also theres no point in calling your orders in ahead then picking them up because they still make you wait and dont even start making your drinks until you get there. Overall there are so many good coffee places in old town I would pass on coming here especially if you cant handle attitude from employees

We loved our morning here at Sips! The staff was super friendly as were all the guests. Being from out of town it was nice to have so many people suggesting what we should do while visiting. The coffee was delicious and the food was perfect.

Sip is a great coffee shop that its combination of great staff and solid selection of drinks leads to be a great space. The downside it the parking and general size of the shop. Being that it is busy, you can often find yourself in a situation where you have no place to sit unless you are by your shop after parking farther away from the space in general.The fact they have another location that is a few miles away that is much more spacious makes it tempting to avoid this location but its still a great coffee shop.

Had a great cold brew in the late morning. The place was breezy, had good music, and half the patrons appeared to be conducting business with their laptops and phones.Came back in the evening during open mic night and it was a very tight knit yet embracing crowd of musicians and friends. Cool scene.Lots of varied seating, shared tables, friendly vibes. A younger crowd than you would associate with Scottsdale.

Great and friendly staff, with a wide range of drinks with very good prices. I went there with my sister to relax and after spending a couple hours there In felt like I was at home. Also, one of the bartenders even gave several customers free slices of pizza. All together it was an excellent experience, and Ill definitely be back soon!

The food was tasty but exceptionally overpriced for the portions provided. A simple, spinach salad with walnuts and goat cheese in a half-order size cost $9. A condiment sized portion of hummus with carrots n pita cost $9. I dont mind paying the prices if Im getting value. This was overall disappointing though. Perhaps it was because I ordered to-go, the in-restaurant experience is probably better. The environment was amazing so Id try it again without being rushed.

Staff here is wonderful! Awesome beer selection with a great variety of other tasty drinks! Love the atmosphere! Really great atmosphere indoors and outdoors (with misters in hot weather). Daytime live music can be really nice -- acoustic guitar with soft female vocals. Great selection of beer, including local brews, and good coffee too. The cold brew is great black.
