I was shopping for a new vehicle; visited Holmes European Volvo dealership. My salesman, Aaron, was extremely helpful and madethe experience the most pleasant I have ever encountered when buying a car. Next day, we returned for the purchase. Our salesman was off; Tyassisted in getting our purchase completed. The GM, Harrison, called me, at my request, to assist in some personal issues I was experiencing. The dealership went above and beyond to accommodate me. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a Volvo.

This place was the worst. We drove a 5 hour round trip to get a car that they told us was in good condition. “It passed our inspection” they said.I’m not sure what that inspection entails, but it literally sounded like we were dragging a tin can full of rocks under the car when we started it up and drove it. We never even left the parking lot.Also, the insides of the doors were damaged and one of the interior door handles was missing part of the structure. None of these things were mentioned to us over the phone when we called ahead or pictured on images for the vehicle listing.I feel they are being very misleading and dishonest.

***** AMENDED***** Holmes Service has made things right now by comping me the oil change and apologizing for the way things were handled. All is well now and they are back to being great again.I have owned one Volvo or another since 2009 (all from Holmes) and have always used Holmes service department. Buying a car there is absolutely phenomenal. Getting my first service there was great. I’ll give credit where credit is due. My second service though is where the ball has been dropped. Today I was told I was over my mileage limit to get my 20K service for free. I was going to have to pay $430 + tax to get what I needed done. I said give me back my car and don’t do a thing to it. I am at 25,769 and the “cut off” is 21,500. I was over because I had to wait a little over 3 weeks to even get my appointment and I drive a lot for my job. If I would have known about the limit I would have parked the car to wait it out. Being over the miles allowed has NEVER been an issue the whole 12 years I have owned Volvos. Instead of trying to work things out, I get a lecture on how many miles I have on the current oil. If the miles allowed thing is a new policy just say it is and I would have gladly adhered to the new standard. To get a lecture after being told I needed to spend $430+ was just insulting. I’m so disappointed in Holmes European.

Dropped in to look at used vehicle, met with Shashi to inquire about vehicle and he showed us the Range Rover in question, let us test drive the car. Explained safety details and never used any high pressure to sell. Excellent dealership from what we experienced.

So far so good. I was greeted as soon as I pulled into the service department. Everything was lined up, as discussed, with Reid. My loaner car was waiting for me and I was in and out of their in under 10 minutes. Lets hope the replacement of my recalled airbags goes as smoothly.

On our way to New Mexico from Florida in our Mercedes Sprinter motor home when just east of Shreveport, LA our ABS and Traction Control Lights came on and at slow speeds the transmission couldnt figure out what gear to be in so we called the local Mercedes dealer and luckily they worked on sprinters. Spoke with Peter Schilling, he said they were booked up for the next few days but we could bring it in and maybe they could work us in and run a diagnostic check, so off we went. After only being there an hour they came and got it, pulled it inside, ran a check, told us the rear wheel speed sensors were bad, they had them in stock, installed them and we were back on the road in only about two hours thanks to Peter and his mechanic. God Is Good!! Thanks, Will..

The price was fair and they worked to ensure that I got the vehicle that I really wanted at a fair price. After searching several other options I drove from Dallas to deal with Holmes. The experience alone was worth the trip.

I brought my car in last week because I thought I was smelling oil. They looked at my car and said it was a rear seal. Then decided to put some dye in the oil to be sure and told me to bring it back in one week. All this was at no charge. They told me before charging me they wanted to make sure we were fixing the right problem. Come to find out one week later it wasnt the oil leaking at all. The leak was from the heater control valve. The replaced the valve and hoses, but never charged for previous time spent trying to decide on the problem. Im sure other car places would have. Thanks again to their great service representative, Tonya Taylor.

When I moved back to LA, bought my first used car back in LA here.Greatly enjoyed the car. Ran great. My Mom bought her Honda here and drove it over 200,000 miles. However, after she retired and bought a car to replace her Honda, they sold her a 2016 Ford Escape and 7 months later (last month) the transmission crapped out on her and now she has had to pay for it to be completely replaced. I called them and talked to them twice. I wanted to find out if they would actually DO anything about it before even thinking about putting them on the phone with my parents because my parents have pretty much already been screwed by the company and didnt need to experience the stress before I could come close to seeing if the company would consider some sort of resolution on the matter. So, far, even though I initially approached the company with a hey, look...we have bought cars from you...we know that this isnt your practice and you dont intend to sale poc cars...so there must have been something that wasnt caught, the dealership has just given me the run around. Cars can break down at any moment, oh they need the mileage first, does she want to trade it in first, blah, blah, blah, blah. I personally know that I would never buy from Holmes again, and I would not recommend them to friends or family members. I would highly suggest that if you are considering buying a used car, that you DO NOT purchase one from Holmes, as you may just end up replacing the entire transmission 7 months later and putting way more money into your new[ish] car.

Shreveport la cost me little bit to get my car fix .when I got my car back it was empty of gas .They gave me loner boy it was an awesome car my car runs so much better

Im so done with Holmes Honda I cant trust their service department anymore. They have a new service mgr and looks like he want last long if he does not fire everyone in the shop. I have bought 3 new cars from them in the last two years. Now I think Im fixing to get rid of them and see if I can find a honest please to do business with.

Service Dept. Mr. Ferrell Assistant Service Manager is the unprofessional individual I have ever meet. Hes lazy and doesnt know when to stop talking. I just went for a Inspection sticker and he said he had never seen a Mercedes Benz in his service bay. He TOLD us to take it across the street to the Mercedes dealer ship because he knows nothing about them. So much more went on they lost at least two customers in twenty minutes. Just giving a heads up stay away from HOLMES HONDA SERVICES...
