Took my car in for noise in front they said it was a bearing had them replace it got car back anti skid light on bas light on they could not find problem what frustrates me the most is they gave me car back with all these lights on did not say word and charged 320 dollars will never go back after our family going to them Gor years. I won’t go into detail but I am humbled and was completely floored by the generosity and service that I received today. I’m a customer here for life now. Well played (haha) but seriously… all I’ll say is that I’m glad that I trusted my gut and asked for my keys back at NTB and called these guys. They were slammed and still got me in quickly. I walked nearby and ate at Bangkok Thai and received a text msg less than an hour later. Unbelievable. Called my wife immediately after and my story bored her but had to tell someone how cool this place was.

I asked my oil change guys to rotate my tires. They told me that my tires we worn too much to rotate them. I was pretty sure they were wrong but took my car to leipold expectation to pay for at least two tires. They said I could rotate my tires and get about 6 more months out of the worn one and checked my brakes informing me that the brakes still had some life left. They could have easily gotten $200+ today but, because they were honest, I will definitely be back in the future and happy to recommend them to friends and family.

Ive purchased several sets of tires from Leipold over the past few years. Today, though, theyve lost me as a customer.During the worst pandemic in a century, while our area is at the worst emergency level possible, the lobby was overcrowded with customers and staff were not wearing masks or distancing. The only precaution apparently taken was the washing of ink pens.They put their customers and their staff at risk, skipping the simplest safety measures, so Ill take my business elsewhere.

I have been going to Leipolds for nearly 40 years, at both the Cuyahoga Falls and Stow locations. They are a family owned business that takes pride in the quality of their work. Rather than worrying about some inexperienced kid working on your car, youll have experienced qualified mechanics and technicians. They will get you into the tire that is right for you, not the most expensive tire. They realize that treating a customer right today will bring them back.

Very polite and professional! I was initially told 40min for my four tires to be replaced, I ended up waiting for a little over an hour which I expected as they were busy and a little behind on appointment times when I walked in. They did an amazing job though, once my truck was pulled in I was out in maybe 20min. Prices were VERY reasonable, almost $200 less than any other shop I called. Theyre not in it to make money off of you. I witnessed another customer come in saying that the dealership she went to stated she needed 3 new tires. The gentlemen looked at her car and informed her that her tires looked relatively new and that they dont recommend that she replace them at this time. I was very impressed. Definitley trust these guys and will be going back in the future!

I always buy their road hazard coverage for my tires which I have had to use 2x getting a brand new tire for each unfixable flat tire due to road debris. This is an EXCELLENT shop!!

I had a great experience at Leipold, I went in with 30 minutes till close with a minor 20$ job, and I didnt sense one bit of attitude about it. They did my job and were very friendly and quick. The price was very fair as well, cheaper than quoted when I walked out the door. Definately suggest this place of business.

I was recommended to go to Leipolds by many people since moving to Stow. Everyone reassured me that Ill receive the best service from them. While I was satisfied with the work performed on my vehicle, I was completely unsatisfied by the lack of care regarding our current pandemic. Whether you agree with the mask mandate or not, its mandated statewide and illegal to not adhere when youre a business as well as completely irresponsible when rates are the worst theyve been yet and over 10 millions Americans have it. And the 3 front desk staff cant wear a simple mask to protect them and the public? They could have infected hundreds and then thousands of people from there. Disappointed in that aspect.

Short review before the details:Pros: Professional, honest, thorough work and extreme care for the customer, all at a price that will beat any competitor who will not treat you half as well as these guys do.Con: (not really even a con, just a note) No installation guarantee on installation of tires bought from an external vendor, which is completely understandable.I took my 16 GTI in for an alignment and installation of a new set of wheels and tires that I had purchased elsewhere. The guys were extremely respectful of my car and the new wheels, making sure not to damage either. The guys mounting the tires made sure to notify me of a manufacturers defect on the wheel prior to their installation so I knew the damage did not come from Leipold. The work was very thorough and they took their time to make sure the job was done correctly. They allowed me to be involved in the process (step into the shop to check things out) and it was nice having windows into each area of the shop so I could see the work being done. They made sure to wash up before entering my car as to keep it clean, which is pretty rare from shops I have worked with in the past. The guys there know their stuff, and I was extremely impressed with the extent of their knowledge of tires and the care they put into their work. 100% satisfied and would definitely recommend to anybody.

Wonderful family-owned business. This week I went in for an estimate on something and they told me something was broken and needed fixed but unfortunately they do not do the repair I needed. I brought it back this week for brakes and tires and another repair. They are extremely helpful.

Leipold Tire is the best in the area at what they do. Ive had service done there from control arms to to tire patches and they are honest and do great work. They are very busy because of this but its worth the wait for quality service.

Had gone to my dealer for oil change and tire rotation. They found a staple in one of the tires told me it couldnt be fixed. Leipold checked it the next day and fixed it. Saved quite a bit of money

I have always been satisfied with the service, quality and cost of having my tires taken care of. What was really great is I contacted them about a problem with my vehicle which they wouldnt be able to fix, but referred me to Rustys Budget Muffler in Norton for a fix that ended up being very affordable.

A friend referred me to Leipold Tire, so I thought Id give them a try. I dropped by in person to book my first appointment. I was excited about it! While there I used the restroom. An employee came and pounded on the door very loudly. When I got out I was scolded in front of the other customers by the person working the front counter for using their facilities. He told me never to come back. I felt humiliated!The friend who referred me thinks there has been a big misunderstanding. I agree that this is probably the case, yet still feel uncomfortable coming back. I understand that the people who run this company are good people. That said, Ill give them 2 stars instead of 1. If they can get this situation cleared up Id love to give them a 5 star rating.

Over priced went to rotate my tires ( because they told me I had free tire rotation for a year) and made some excuse as to why they couldn’t. Also left my wheel cover off when I went back they had it but the guy didn’t put it back on right and as I was driving it came off again and is now lost. Horrible customer service would NOT recommend.

Good service good tires fair price with the $60 rebate went there on their Cooper offbrand Mastercraft. Called up on a Tuesday went in 20 minutes later they had the tires in stock they put them on in about an hour.

Great service and friendly workers. I bought new tires a couple months ago. Just recently, my rim was bent due to a lovely Ohio pothole. A Leipold tech was able to straighten it, and they didnt even charge me. What a blessing! You cannot go wrong doing business with this company!

Had a rear hub and wheel bearing start making noise on my 2003 Corolla, at 140,000 miles.Decided to take it somewhere,rather than fight the corrosion that had kind of seized the hub/bearing in place.The mechanic had the job done in about a half hour.It took about an hour and a half for the part to arrive,but they still had the car done in the two hours they told me it would take.The mechanic kept coming in and keeping me posted and apologizing on waiting for the part.Now my car is quiet on the highway,and ready for my annual trip to New York City! Im planning on having them do my front stabilizer bar links next month.Both jobs will be good quality Moog parts,with a lifetime warranty on the parts.Being in my early fiftys,I dont like to fight rust anymore.Id rather pay to have someone do it,than struggle with a repair job for half a day.I feel good about recommending this shop.

I probably should have left a review years ago, but I haven’t bought a set of replacement tires in a while. I have always found Leipold Tire to be honest and fair with their pricing. I had taken a tire in this week with a finishing nail stuck in the tread. It turned out that removing the nail did not result in air loss. Further testing revealed that the tire was holding air and did not require repair. Leipold’s informed me of this and did not charge me for the time they spent on the tire. Try getting that type of service from some of the chain places. I would recommend them to anyone needing tires or repairs.

I have used Leipolds for years. Their business is focused on tires, brakes, and alignments. Excellent service, excellent technicians. Its best to make an appointment because they are always busy. This trip was to replace a one-month-old tire that was ruined when I hit a pothole. No appointment, but they filled my spare with air, took the damaged tire, ordered and mounted the replacement, and put it on when I returned later. Note that their hours are 9 to 5. You can drop off your vehicle at night.

Leopold got me in quickly on a short notice, diagnosed the problem in minutes, sold and replaced my part for a fair price (according to Google), did it faster than the time they said it would take AND topped off the air in my tires all while being kind and easy to work with. I wish I didnt HAVE to spend money on getting my car fixed but these guys made it at least a decent experience to do so.

I have been going to Leipold Tire for 20 plus years. I have always left feeling like I got a great deal. Honest people and great prices.

Very friendly and helpful. Turned out my issue could be solved with 3 screws in about 5 minutes. They didnt charge me for the work. Very honest workmanship.

I went in for a front end aliment and 2 tires, they told me I needed lower ball joints, stabilizer bar and the struts. The price was $1080 which including the tires, $510 of it was for the strut. I told them I will pass on the strut for now, but go ahead with the rest of the items. He refused to do the aliment unless I fixed all the items. He then told me there is a $25 fee, he called it a lift charge if I didnt get the work done. I paid the $25 extortion fee to get my car back and went to my local Wal-M--t and ended up paying $169 for 2 tires, Leopolds quoted was $201 for there off brand. Went to a shop in Kent, only needed to replace the ball joints for the aliment cost $200 plus the $79 for the aliment. I paid a total of $448 instead of $1080 to keep my car on the road hopefully for a couple more years, if I want everything to be new I would go to a dealer. I learned a long time ago good shops dont charge their customers for repair quotes.

We got new tires here about a week ago, but a couple days after getting them we hit a pot hole and blew one. We were able to bring it in and they replaced it quickly and with no fuss. They made a stressful situation a lot better.

Taken our car there because to cold for me to work on.had 2 parts replaced that i could have purchased at 175.00.was charged 550.00.the car stills pull to one side and shakes on Express way.taken it back. They balanced the 2 front tires at 25.00.still pulls n shakes.575.00 and its not fixed.ill let you decide on this place.seems like every garage you go to rips you off anymore. Its a shame it the american way.labor comes out around 200 an hr?

I heard a noise in my car. I called for an appointment with Leipolds, and was able to get in right away. Within a few minutes, they determined I needed.all new brakes. I was out in less than 45 minutes. The price was very reasonable and everyone there was very professional and courteous. Im sure glad I fiund them. Thanks!!

I took my car to Leipold and at first they told me that day and told me that they couldnt repair my brakes because the it comtaminated with some other fluid. I recently took my car to the Chevelot dealer and they conducted routine check on my brakes. They told me that there was no other fluid in the brakes. They told me that there was a air in the brake line. The Leipold tech didnt do a complete check on the brakes. My recommendation to anyone that go to this place get a second opinion

I took my car in to have my lug bolts loosened and retorqued. During my appointment there they broke my window and refused to do anything about it. Manager was very unprofessional. Safe to say I will not be returning ever again.
