I had a slow leak in my tire. They found the problem & fixed it. They even got me in the same day. They were also competitively priced.

Got my AC compressor repaired here for my car .I can enjoy the cool air now.. Staff are really friendly and nice.They gave me a ride to my to place and came and got me when the repairs were finished .The price was reasonable .They only make repairs you need .and give you one price they are good and trustworthy repair shop .

I got my brakes done here last week for a great price, and it comes with a brakes forever warranty, so when I go down to Florida if I have an issues I know Im covered! They gave me a ride home and picked me back up when it was done! I highly recommended this shop! Very good and honest guys here!

Went in for an oil change and I also had a nail in my tire. Matt did the oil change and fixed the tire very quickly and I had zero issues with the maintenance. Great all-around shop with excellent customer service. I highly recommend it!

This business wanted $1000 to do drum brakes on my wifes car I told them no and the mechanic torqued every lug nut so that when i went to the next shop they all sheared off. Got the brakes done for under $300. These guys are unprofessional and taking advantage of stimulus money

Fantastic Customer service!!! We are out for a trip and the night before we were to head home we got a flat tire! I called them about 15 minutes before they closed and spoke with Matt who was very helpful and was able to see me first thing in the morning!! This place took me in in a panic! I was not expecting my tire to be flat and everywhere that I called I had to get an appointment. But Monroe took me in the second AAA got my spare on and got me back on the road in 15min! They took such great care of me.

I received such great service from the store in Stow. The manager Andrew has excellent customer service and really goes out of his way to make sure that the needs of the customer are taken care of. I knew I had a problem with my car but didnt know exactly what the issue was. Andrew figured it out in seconds! He sat me down, was very honest with me. Andrew told me how long and what the cost would be. True to his word, I got out of there on time and well under the cost of what other shops were charging, which was triple the price! I cant thank Andrew and his team enough for taking care of me and my little one while we were there! The stow store is a great place and I hope they continue to Keep Andrew and his current team that have working there for a long time. Give these guys raises! They did excellent work on my car. This is my second time there, and will not go anywhere else.

I am extremely impressed by the service and kindheartedness of the workers at Monro in Stow. My car seemed to have more wrong with it than was worth repairing, but Shane and Russ went above and beyond to make sure EVERYTHING was fixed at a price I could afford. They called with every update and thoroughly explained what and how they were repairing with complete honesty and integrity. I even had a good time sitting in the waiting room bantering with employees! I will definitely be back, thank you for working your hardest to get my death trap of a car running like new! (:

I have had everything from an oil change, tires, and axl work done by Tim and his crew. He is honest, fair, and will take care of you. He is also not afraid to tell you if there is something they cannot do. They are thorough and dont cut corners. I cant recommend Tim and this Monro enough.

Went and had my brakes done, standard oil and wiper change and installation this past weekend. While waiting, I watched as the manager (Tony I think) and the assistant manager (Chad) conducted business and noticed that these two hold this facility to a standard that is worth mentioning. They makes sure things are done in a timely manner, done correctly, and done to exceed your expectations. I cant give this place enough praise. Definitely a top notch business with top notch employees. Would very much recommend this place to all of my family and friends. Additionally, the cost I was charged was at least HALF of what all other places would have charged me. Keep up the good work guys!

I stopped in yesterday right at the end of the day and needed air in my tires. They checked all my tires and found a nail in one. They were able to repair it and get me back on my way! I found my new repair shop!

I have been going here for years because I work next door. I stopped going a couple years ago because I thought the manager was dishonest and didn’t honor a warranty. I noticed new management so I thought I would give it a second chance. Andrew is fantastic! I had a small repair that others would have ripped me off for. Came back again for a minor repair and mentioned that another facility said I needed new back brakes. He checked them and said they were fine! I will ALWAYS bring my car to Andrew. He is friendly and HONEST!!! A very important trait for women when it comes to car repair.

These guys are great! Often times I find mechanic shops try to screw me over because they think I don’t know any better because I’m a girl. But these guys are honest and awesome! They let me go out into the shop and showed me what was going on under the car and explained everything. They literally bent over backwards to help me and even stayed past closing hours. Not only were they quick and efficient but they did not try to scam me or throw in other products. They even fixed my bent rim free of charge which was unexpected. Stop by one cold snowing evening with truck issues. Tim came outside, pop the hood and figured out what was wrong. My wife and I have been coming here for repairs and oil changes for years. The old manager (Pat) was great, and the new manager Charles has continued to impress. He and his team have always gone above and beyond with us, always finding deals & coupons, or throwing in an oil change (when I ask) for getting a lot of work done. They are knowledgeable, professional, polite and friendly, and I recommend them every chance I get. They always mention appreciation for my military service and ask about our kids. I came here for an oil change just because I had a coupon, but the service was wonderful and Ill definitely be coming back. Ive had bad experiences at other places (including the Lube Stop down the street) where the staff was rude and talked down to me, and tried to talk me into things I didnt need because they thought I didnt know any better. But the guys at Monro are super friendly and did a great job!

The manager is very polite and to the point. They had 6 vehicles when I got there and within 2 hours had everyone out including my own. The workers really know what they’re doing and they’re fast.

My fiancé and I had an unexpected flat tire and we were fortunate enough to be right next door. We walked in not realizing the store was closed. I went for a oil change,as I do to this location EVERY time I need a oil change. First we discussed the price because he was going to charge more then the price on state road,then after having my car for a half hour he told me he could not change my oil because they rounded off the oil drain plug. He agreed that it was their fault but they had no time to do this because they were closing soon. I already missed 2 hours pay so I will do it myself 😭😭😭

I visited last Sat for full brake pad and rotor replacement on a 2008 Ford wagon for my grandfather. It was a pleasant experience over all for having to spend an afternoon getting car repairs. The mechanic Paul was patient and polite with all my questions, very knowledgeable and willing to Walk me through the work. The shop and bays were clean and well laid out. The staff over all were helpful prompt and very efficient. I was in and out under 2 hours and the pricing was fair. I would take my vehicles here again.

Very pleased...I Brought my Dodge caravan in with a nagging exhaust noise and Andrew and the gang were able to find it, fix it and get me on my way in less than an hour. They were also able to quote me a new pair of shocks for more than a $100 less than the shop just down the road. I Will definitely be going back.

Went in a while back to get my brakes done. I needed more work than anticipated and they bent over backwards to get it fixed within my budget. Cant say enough good things about them. Also its been some time since the repair and I have had no other issues with my brakes. Thank You!!**Update** Well I went back to get some things fixed as they did a great job the first time. The did the repairs but had broke some clips on a sensor. Was told to come back if my check engine light came back on and it did. Went back in and there was another code for repair. No problem I’m willing to pay. Was told they would write up an estimate and give me a call - never got a call. Called them and was told an estimate was never done and then was hung up on... tried to spend my money there but was basically blown off and the follow up on my car was never completed. So disappointed! $400 in and still having issues.

Have not had anything done other than oil changes so cant speak to the other services but it is easy to go online to schedule an appointment. Not unusual to get same day service. Nice folks. No issues.

My car was towed to this Monroe garage a few evenings ago at about 6:30 pm. I live 60 miles away and did not know how I was going to get home as the posted closing time was 7:00 pm and I was sure that my car could not even be looked at by that time. However, Andrew and Ken diagnosed my cars problem, procured an alternator and battery from the parts store and fixed my car that evening. They even apologized that it took a while because they had another car that they had to fix first. They worked well into the evening past closing time to get my car and the other customers car going. They did not overcharge me and were very polite and professional. This garage is out of the way for me but I will be taking my car back again when I have a need. Thanks Andrew and Ken.

Never ever again! When in today to get my oil change and the manager Tim was too busy talking on the phone to even acknowledge us . He then was yelling at his mechanics about a tire. Then he proceeded to call a tow driver uneducated and stupid. All the while not saying anything to us. Then he took a phone call and threw the phone across the floor, almost hitting us with the pieces. It could have put someones eye out. We ran for the door, . This man us dangerous and unstable acting with no regards for customers

Came in for an oil change. Got right in with no wait. Matt was very helpful, pleasant and efficient. Told me about monro card to save even more on future visits.

I arrived at Monro by chance on a Saturday after 5:30pm with a car full of children and a flashing check engine light. Before I could even check to see if the shop was open, Andrew greeted me as I was getting out of the car. It was like the Ritz-Carlton of auto shops! I told him my concern and he very clearly told me what he was going to do, how long it would take and promised to do his best to make me safe. True to his word, he made my vehicle me safe and I arranged to comeback for additional work that he suggested. While I sat in the waiting area with 4 kids, I had the chance to see Andrew and his crew in action. At first, it seemed a bit chaotic. However, as time passed, I began to see the pattern of the shop’s behavior. Everyone, but mostly Andrew, was going out of their way to make sure that the customers needs were addressed. If someone showed up at the shop, Andrew addressed them immediately and began to accommodate. I was worried that I would never get out of there because of his focus on everyone else. Ultimately, Andrew addressed my short term needs on Saturday and fixed my vehicle entirely on Tuesday. The cost to complete these repairs was very fair. In fact, I contacted a few dealerships on Monday to get a sense of what the repairs were going to cost me and I found that the dealerships charged $130 to $180 just to assess the problem. When I told them what Andrew had done on Saturday to assess the issues, they said that their standard procedure was to do the assessment, charge me and then suggest how much it was going to cost to fix my problem. I soon figured out that the dealerships had two people doing Andrew’s intake job, and more people doing Andrew’s repair job and then probably more people to oversee Andrew. I walked away form this experience feeling that the dealerships need 3-4 people to do the job of one Andrew! And they were not half as friendly as Andrew! I’ll go to this place a for as long as Andrew manages the place.

Took 31/2 days to get my car repaired wasted over 7 hours sitting in filthy waiting room over the course of the final 2 days! I was very leery to take my car here given the negative google reviews. This location came under new management in March, 2015. I was treated friendly and professionally. They provided two quotes to repair my exhaust system, 1) repair the existing parts or 2) replace the existing parts with new parts. I was very pleased with the service process and results. I would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone in need of their services.

The absolute most wonderful experience I ever had . The most pleasant people in the world . Very helpful and experienced at what they do . My Transmission fluid was low and Andrew made sure I was fully together before I left and for that I am ETERNALLY grateful ! I will now get home from a 2 1/2 hour drive safe !

I took my 1997 jeep cherrokee up there today for a oil change. The manager was friendly had me laughing. The service guys were quick and let me know if there was anything wrong with my jeep. I recommend them 5 stars execellent service

What a terrible experience that i had at this place!!! Its all my fault though as i didnt read the reviews beforehand. Okay. I had problems with my breaks as the break liquid was leaking through my break lines. I explained the problem and the person in the front said that they would take a look at it. I told him to give me an estimate before doing any kind of work. He said okay. They lifted up the car and all started to talk probably about how to fix the problem and then called me outside to show the leaks. They told me that i had to replace the break lines and that would cost me around $850 to $900. They also said that while replacing the lines the calipers might be broken so that would cost me another $350 to $400. So, I was looking to pay around $1200 to $1400 which was a lot more than i expected and i said that i had to wait another week to get paid and then get it fixed. They said okay and i went inside to get my keys. the same person in the front desk told me that he was gonna charge me for the inspection. I already knew what the problem was and all i wanted was to get an estimate to fix it. As soon as i asked why he is charging me for something that i already know, and why didnt tell me that he was gonna charge me beforehand, he asked me to leave, showed the door with his finger and said GO. He said he knows that i would never gonna come back. I was gonna come back honestly as it was the closest place to my house. I had literally no breaks so, that would be the only place that i would go. I left the place with no breaks and the next day towed my car to another shop, got it fixed for only $375. So, dont go there to get an estimate or to fix your car unless you have tons of money to waste. Good luck.

The manager Tony is impolite and has no idea what he is doing. Epic fail. He tried to sell me parts I didnt need. I know this because I went to a second and third shop to double check. Ive never seen a bigger moron in my life. They tried to hose me for $2200. Never again.

They let go Kevin who was great, now they have Tim and to do a 5 minute block sniff test, he wanted 89.95. Huh? What? He could care less I was a long time customer. Just gets worse everyday there.

A couple of things to note:1.) When it comes to managers, this store has a very high turn over rate. New management happens often.2.) Always, always, always get an estimate and compare prices.The last time I took my car in (late 2015) because of a weird noise. I told them the noise was driving me nuts. They then quoted me a price and said they could take care of it right away. When I insisted on getting an estimate and waiting a couple days, the manager was visibly angry. He then lowered the price of fixing the car by $50. When I still refused to get it done immediately, he then printed out the lower price estimate.
