While visiting Tallahassee, I had an unexpected problem with a tire that could not be repaired. I went to Proctor Honda and was greeted promptly although I did not have an appointment. Mr. Bruce _____ handled my service and gave me the price match as advertised on the website. The service was completed within the time indicated and the bill was the amount as discussed. He was courteous and thorough ensuring that an inspection was done of the car and he reviewed the results within me. If I have any issues with my car while visiting Tallahassee, I wont hesitate to go back to Proctor Honda.

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle everyone was courteous and polite. Allie walked me through all the features on my car and answered all my questions. I absolutely recommend this dealership hands down. Our salesperson was Mary. She was not pushy. There was no attempt to pad the deal. After 2 weeks of shopping in the current market, the visit here was a breath of fresh air. The purchase order was clear and itemized. The advertised price is exactly what was listed, this is not always the case at all car dealerships. No pushing for extra warranties or adding unwanted items. Car was delivered when promised and in the condition promised. A we-owe was given for the item they were not able to provide at the moment of delivery. Dealership is very clean and our experience was very convenient. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car at any time, but ESPECIALLY now. The auto market is crazy right now, so having a dealer who is upfront and honest makes the process so much more enjoyable. Mary was very knowledgeable about Honda as a brand and the features/benefits of the vehicle. She was not pushy, just informative. Again, highly recommend.

This is the only Honda dealer of the three I’ve experienced that I would go back to again. This is where I always take my car for service even though it’s half an hour farther away than the closest dealer. The waiting area is comfortable and big enough for social distancing. The staff are polite and do their jobs without making you feel like they’re trying to pull one over on you or do anything else dishonest.

I have been to my share of dealerships and all of them said that I was to young to buy a car and that they did not want to run my credit because they thought I did not have one, they were very rude but I made one call to Honda they were on it immediately. They wanted me to come in and look at the best cars that would fit me and they got me all set up with a new car in less than an hour. My cars transmission died over 100 miles from home in the middle of nowhere. It would cost more to fix than the car was worth. Of course we are in the middle of a chip shortage and there are very few cars. The ones that were available are overpriced and I needed a car ASAP.The people at Proctor Honda went above and beyond to help me get a car. They gave me a great deal and did not take advantage of the situation. If you want to be treated like family I would recommend you go there for your next car.

Terri Rutledge was my salesperson for the purchase of my new vehicle and she was nothing short of amazing! I was very hesitant to buy a car because of COVID, however she helped me complete the majority of the requirements through phone calls and text messages so that I had very little human contact for the process. She was super knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. I have to add that she was able to find me the exact car that I requested from a different dealership and had it delivered, inspected, cleaned and waiting for me in a few short days! She is top-notch in her field and I strongly recommend that anyone looking for a Honda in the Tallahassee area should ask for her specifically!

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I made an appointment on a Saturday to get my air conditioner fixed. When I arrived I was told that they don’t fix air conditioners on Saturday’s. This is frustrating because someone over the phone at this Honda made my appointment for me and nothing was said. The guy who was talking to us proceeded to show me how many cars are before me and made excuses as to why he couldn’t help me. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Never come here !!

They took great care of me and my vehicle. Only issue I had is that while this is a new vehicle, purchased in may 2021, they do not cover tire replacement. I had a flat tire and they told me that it was not covered under the manufacture warranty. Because I didn’t purchase the extended warranty I had to pay out of pocket almost $200.

I just brought my Civic si in for new tires, an oil change, and air filter change. Everything was done remarkably quickly.While I didn’t appreciate they asked a valet who doesn’t drive a stick to bring my car around, he did a good job, didn’t stall, and didn’t grind my clutch to bits. Next time I’ll be happy to walk over to it (why give the kid a heart attack?) but otherwise Proctor Honda always makes getting service easy and everyone is professional and communicates clearly.

Scheduled an appointment last week to get three things done: 40k mile service, have a problem with engine performance checked, and have recall maintenance performed. Proctors screwed up and only could only do the first of the three.Heading out of town and it will be a couple of weeks before Proctors can address the of two. Hope fully use doesn’t damage my truck or cause a breakdown.Expected expected better service!!!!

This was the quickest and easiest purchase of a vehicle I’ve ever made. I was able to do all negotiating online prior to making the long drive to Tallahassee. The dealership is the nicest and cleanest one I’ve ever been in. They hadplenty of spaced seating to allow customers a COVID free friendly atmosphere. I was in a dilemma, my cars service engine light came on and I panicked. I needed an oil change. When I contacted Proctor Acura, I was told that they were booked. However, they suggested that I take it to Proctor Honda. So I called the service center at Honda, and I spoke to Mark. Mark told me that they were also booked, but if I got there early, he would make sure that my car was serviced. Mark is the greatest. He told me that he will make sure that my oil was changed and everything else would be checked. Mark came inside to let me know of other issues and suggested that I make an appointment with Proctor Acura. Not once did he or Proctor Honda try to charge me for something that wasnt needed. I appreciate that these guys didnt try to take advantage of me. Thank you to Mark and the Proctor Honda service team. I would also like to mention that I didnt have to sit there all morning.

Today’s visit with Proctor deserves zero stars. I experienced racial discrimination when my daughter and I arrived at Proctor Honda for a basic oil change. We waited 15 - 20 minutes after arriving for the service representative to come and assist. My daughter and I witnessed a Caucasian woman arriving after us was instantly greeted and assisted. One of the technicians that pull the cars in for service was kind and had to ask several service reps to come assist my daughter and I. Finally after waiting 15-20 minutes, Adam decided to come out. He was extremely short with us and rudely adamant that my daughter and I be back to pick up our car by 3pm although Honda advertises the service department closes at 4pm. Adam stated “he has to close down by 3pm so he can go home at 3:30”. There was no apology for the long wait or ANY type of decent customer service. I stood and watched how another customer after us, male of a different race, drove up and instantly received service with a smile - shall I add. I’ve brought both my Honda’s to Proctor Honda for service for well over 10 years and this visit was by far the most disappointing of them all. A formal complaint will be filed.

Post COVID Proctor Hondas customer service is in the toilet. Im almost regretting that I purchased a Honda for my son, with only one option for service in Tallahassee. Speaking the a service rep that would not allow me a word and rushing me off the phone and speaking to the Service Manager Mr. Browning was also disheartening. I understand that businesses are short staffed, employees are overworked and probably under paid, I get it. But dont take your frustration out on the customer. My son had to wait 6 weeks for a diagnostic appointment in April, the issue was not fixed, nor properly documented. When I expressed my disappointment, Mr. Browning told me I can take my vehicle to the Honda dealership 45 miles away, rather than offering a solution or apology.

When we had questions or needed more information about a vehicle that is the only time that the representative was around. Proctor offers great deals BUT they are not who they used to be. You can NEVER get service work done in a timely manner EVEN with an appointment. Made an appointment over a week ago for today. Took off work and drove 1 hour to Proctor but upon arrival Zach informed me that they couldnt do work today but would TRY to look at it today but no guarantee. I informed him of me taking off work and driving one hour but he was apathetic. I told him they should inform people with appointments that there is no guarantee their cars can be looked at even with appointments. He disingenuously replied, well they are supposed to! Needless to say, I will never be back nor recommend this dealer to anyone. Id rather pay more somewhere else that cares and are honest.

Despite being a loyal customer for over a decade, Proctor Honda seems to be going downhill. Their car lot looks fairly sparse, and they are strangely overeager to buy back relatively new used vehicles (while, of course, rarely offering Blue Book value). Similarly, given the two Honda cars that I frequently get repair work done on at Proctor Honda, they appear far more invested in oil changes and routine maintenance issues (for example, brakes); as far as anything more technical is concerned, they come across as fairly uncommitted and have a habit of disincentivizing customers with exorbitant and multiple hourly diagnostic fees. All in all, my past few experiences with Proctor Honda have gradually encouraged me to start looking elsewhere when the time comes to make my next new/used car purchase. I used to value Honda for the reliability of their cars alongside their extended warranties and general quality of service, but my faith is diminishing.

They told me I needed a new engine, new spark plugs, coils, and battery to the tune of around $6K. I found a reliable mechanic and got it fixed for under $700. Proctor is a rip off. I had to pay $154 to hear all that, and their solution was to give me a $130 credit.

I also received my car back clean after a nice free wash. Sheila was my service advisor and she was amazing! Just a stand up person with good character. George & Robin Brunner...... Traveling up north with a cargo trailer well within our weight limit in our 2019 honda pilot ex-L we started having transmission heating issues. 🤦‍♀️ holiday weekend.... Saturday evening after businesses closed we got stuck in the side of the road letting our transmission cool off. Got a place to stay for the night but honda dealers werent open the next day... Sunday. We thought our issue was related to low transmission fluid which we remedied the next morning and set back off on our trip. Got to Tallahassee, FL and had the same warning appear. Had to pull again and let it cool for a couple hours. We, again got a hotel for the day/night. Without an appt, we showed up at Proctor Honda service dpt at 730 on Monday to be greeted by an awesome staff. We explained to Chris the issue and he explained that he would have to see if they could fit us in. We expected and was preparing to be stuck there for a couple days but to our surprise Chris returned to tell us they could work is in. 😳. They had our problem diagnosed and serviced within 2 1/2 hours in time for check out at our hotel. We were amazed and relieved as we needed to be in New Orleans by 430 to pick up my Sister who was flying in from alaska to join us on this trip. We wish we lived in it near Tallahassee just so Proctor Honda could service us for our every need. Thank you immensely

I will not buy another car from Proctor again due to the fact. I bought my 2020 Honda Accord sport in November 2020 and I had bad tires. I bought the tire and rim package with the purchase of car and glad I did. They lied about nails in my one tire (I checked my tires before I ever went to them and another tire shop that informed me of the bad tires). The nice lady that helped me get that tire exchanged let me know the others were bad also and Proctor Honda fired her (shaking my head) Yes they fired the new lady for telling me the truth about the bad tires. I only have 28,000 miles on my car. I took my car today and they said my tires were fine and something must be wrong with my car ( brand new honda) so I sent it to Proctor Honda service main area whom then tells them yes it is the bad tires. Ok I thought they would handle it BUT No they sent me home and told me to call the tire warranty company and get it fix when they could have helped me. Im a nurse that works constantly and I had just got off work and have to go back tonight on bad tires. Im not recommending Proctor Honda to anyone.

My wife and I came in to find a new vehicle after our previous one was totaled. I contacted Proctor and kept in contact with Allie Biggs for a couple weeks as we waited for the insurance check. We went in and the process went well considering this experience was a learning one for both of us. Allie and Chuck were amazing with making sure we could qualify for the car we wanted and even helping us get a good payment. We appreciate everything they have done for us. The pressure of buying a new car can be a lot, but we feel like we got an honest deal. We are grateful!

My daughter who recently graduated purchased her 1st vehicle at Proctor Honda. LIving in South Forida, I thought my husband and I would have to travel to Tallahassee to assist her with the process. However, she attempted the process on her own and thankfully it was seamless. The dealer overnighted the documents to us outlining the details and areas for signature and my daughter drove her car off the lot two days later. My daughter stated to my husband and I, she had a pleasant car buying experience and she has no regrets. My daughter mentioned that every detail and cost was explained and the agents had patience with her.

I have been a 10+ years customer of Proctor Honda, but I must say that yesterdays service was my best interaction with the service department ever. Chris took the time to explain to me every service that was needed to my 2007 Honda Accord. After much discussion and heartfelt thoughts, it was decided that it was not in the best interest to invest that much money into fixing the car. I appreciate Chris for his honesty. I honestly think it hurt him just as much to deliver the news to me. My Honda and I have had a good run, but it is time for it to have its rest(380,000 good miles) Thanks again Chris!
