Ive recommended Autoplex to friends and family every chance I get. Lou knows cars and trucks, runs an honest garage, and wont take advantage of people in a bind.Thats right: an Honest Mechanic.Hes also a heck of a nice guy with a great sense of humor.

The guys that work there are top shelf! Highly respectful. They did not take advantage of me what’s so ever and did not charge me because my engine light was on, when the did an autopsy on the car, they figured out because sensor was effected by the water of the car wash, they removed the engine light and tire light. They charged me nothing. Thank you very much.

These guys came recommended to me by Costco so that should say something in itself. They offered a Costco (referral?) discount. I already had a quote from another major shop for engine repair where their diagnoses was low compression and would need a new (used) engine. I brought it here for a second opinion where they pin-pointed the issue to a valve not seating properly which was a valve job instead of an engine swap which saved me A LOT of money. These guys were honest, fair and great to work with. Highly recommended.

These guys are great! Very trustworthy and the prices are very reasonable. Only been to them twice for repairs but both times the experience was great, Not sure which mechanic worked on my car but I appreciate them very much as well as Mike because I mustve called 6 times to check on my car (its my baby) and he never seemed frustrated.Would definitely recommend them to others.

This is a decent, well-run shop. The people are good to work with, listen, have fair pricing, and the work is properly done (as an engineer Im able to judge that more than most). This is how an auto service shop should be. So now Ive found them, Im sticking with them. Thanks, guys.

Mike and the guys have really taken care of me. They did the job right and they even surprised me with the speed of getting the jobs done. They did my front axle seal on my front differential before lunch and I came back a week later they did my rear axle seals all before lunch. I highly recommend

Our family have been taking our cars to Mike and Lou and Autoplex Auto Service for the past 20 years. They are great at what they do and are reasonably priced. My auto batteries rarely survive the manufacturers warranty in the AZ heat and they usually replace them with a new one at no charge. I highly recommend taking your car here first or second if you need another opinion. Mike and Lou are honest and fair.

I have had many services performed on my vehicles at Autoplex Auto Service and Ive always had a good experience. I know that when Lou tells me something needs to be fixed, it really does need to be fixed! Ive always dreaded taking my car to a mechanic because some choose to take advantage of women but Lou is the exact opposite. He is honest and respectful of me as a customer, and tells it like it is. I always refer anyone who is looking for a mechanic because I know they will get the same great service that I do.

Had a problem with the power steering, found these guys on google and brought the car in. They were very friendly at first, but the job they wanted to perform was over $1000. I brought it in thinking it was just the pressure hose, but they stated we needed to have the rack and pinion replaced as well and needed to charge for a re-alignment on top of that. After talking to my mom (whose vehicle it was previously), found out the rack and pinion had been replaced less than two years prior. She called in stating that only the pressure hose was to be replaced. Lou refused, stating he wouldnt do half a job. I think he thought he had us pigeon-holed to get the job done there, but we had the car rolled out of the shop and had it towed to our regular mechanic. Thankfully we had AAA which covered most of the way. After our regular mechanic looked at it, he found it was only the clamp that had come loose on the pressure hose and a boot jack had come loose and was resting on the rack and pinions. All in all, it was under $300 to fix, and the car is running great again. These guys also charge a hefty rate of $99 an hour for labor. The going rate for most places is $65-$75 an hour. Just be wary.

Lou, Mike, and the guys at Autoplex are terrific! The other day my van started to run a little rough and the check engine light went on. I called late in the day on Friday and talked with Mike. He said I should swing by so they could check it out - but I wasnt able to due to my work. So he suggested a fix over the weekend and told me to bring my van in first thing on Monday if it didnt work. Well, it worked, check engine light is off and my van is running great again. I have been taking my vehicles to Autoplex for years and I totally trust them. Their prices are reasonable and they make it convenient for me with rides to and from work or home. I highly recommend them!

Great place! The staff was very friendly and professional. They explained everything to us in detail as well as how to avoid future problems. When we need future work done, my wife and I will definitely return to Autoplex! I highly recommend them!

I have getting my truck serviced at Autoplex for years. Mike and Larry ALWAYS take care of me. Had 2 parts go bad within the warranty time period. I had to pay labor twice on the master cylinder which I was bummed about as the part company should have taken the burden out of the customers hands, but when the 2nd part, fuel pump, went bad and initially I was told I had to pay for labor again, Mike said No. We will fix this for you. I love these guys. Good workers and honest which we all know is EXTREMELY rare.

Got a recommendation to use Autoplex Auto Service from a friend of a friend and Im so happy I did. Had to have muffler and tailpipe replaced AND then catalytic converter. Both times in and out, no problems, my Jeep passed emissions with flying colors. Honest and helpful - even clued me in to other problems. :)Referred a friend back with a 2004 Nissan Frontier whos never been able to get out of the dealer for under $1,000 and walked away owing a little less than $300 - phenomenal service and will be back.

What more can be said about excellent service and a fair price? We discovered a dependable resource for our auto troubles right here in Tempe. It was Costco that sent us to the Autoplex a couple of years ago. The Costco manager told me they recommend these guys because they do it right. I have spent hundreds of dollars here on a 2004 Explorer and a 1998 Merc. with out any regret or doubt about what I was paying for. They dont spend your money without your permission either. By the way, my wonderful wife is very picky about clutter, cleanliness, honesty and she is no-nonsense about business. We trust these guys because they have earned our business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOUR GOING THROUGH FINANCING. I brought my car here in which it is a foreign and they replaced a part I left and my car was still in bad condition I took my vehicle to another mechanic and the part that they “fixed” broke more things in my car because of the mechanic work that was done. I came back and spoke with the “owner” Lou in which he was very disrespectful and rude and told me to just sue him..... all I wanted was a discount because I had to pay over a thousand dollars again to fix my vehicle. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU WANT IT DONE CORRECT !!!!!! They’ll do it fast but not CORRECT ! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Honest Customer Service and Experienced Mechanics. Maybe a bit pricy but I would rather pay more for quality and good service rather than pay for cheap and get bad service.

Rudest employees of any car service Ive been to. Charged way more than they should, and the wait time for getting my car back was horrendous. Never going again.
