I had a part replaced by the CORE team in July 2020; since then, the part has once again failed but I have moved away. I have requested the parts warranty information and documentation from Andre for *months* now, and despite multiple attempts at civil phone calls from both myself and my new mechanic, have yet to receive any information, and have essentially been strung along on a wild goose chase of flimsy excuses. These actions do not reflect a respectable company and reek of shady business practices. Incredibly disappointing and would not recommend anyone bring their car here.

I called to get a quote for a 2002 Honda Accord. I wanted a Radiator and thermostat replaced!For that simple work, they quoted me at $635.A thermostat cost 15$ and radiator 100$. So 500$ in labor? Nope not ripping me off. Just made another call and quoted me for 325$

Andre was amazing. He made sure I know what was going on with the car at all times and got our SUV fixed a lot faster than I thought possible. Its running great now. Also, I like that we got to sign up for a rewards program. BEST experience Ive had from any car shop. Will be returning.

After taking my car to gruelichs and being very disappointed. I called core. I think his name was Andre. He was so nice and so understanding not only did he explain whats wrong with the car but he sent me pictures and explained them to me one by one. My car was a total loss so I didnt end up going with the repairs however I want everyone to know how comfortable my experience was. How informed I was about the repairs needed on my car. I definitely plan on using them in the future for my other cars. Love love love. Female friendly definitely. Not saying women cant understand cars. Some dont however and finding a mechanic is pretty scary. I have confidence you can come here alone. Plus they email out everything to you so if you needed a personal opinion you could forward right over to brother, dad, mom, friend. 10/10 dont believe me just call.

Ive been coming to them for car repairs for a while now. Usually they are great. But I call them today about getting a new tire and it felt like they didnt want my business. It was just a very cold conversation that left me doubting. I told them I would go somewhere else and they seemed happy about it. Ill have to find a new place now

Core was one of the only shops open on a Saturday for a pre purchase inspection of my 17 Mustang GT. They were quite busy but was able to squeeze me in mush faster than expected. The inspection came back with flying colors and they even took the time to take dozens of photos and send them to me. I would recommend them to anyone who needs service in the Tempe area. Andre and his team are great people. I brought my car in at noon and they had my radiator installed by that evening!!!! They were fair with the pricing and like another customer mentioned they treat you more like a friend than JUST a customer!🤗

Earlier this week my family and I ran into some car trouble while passing through on the way to a camping trip. We were loaded up with gear and hours from home. The team there took EXCELLENT care of us, didnt try to swindle us in any way, and even let us park the car and got us a rental to continue the trip even though we did not get the vehicle serviced with CORE. They made a very unexpected stressful moment easy and stress free. My family had a great trip and returned to the shop to pick up the car on our way home. There was never any point of pressure from the staff to get any service and well ALWAYS be grateful for the total services that were provided by the staff on what could have been a much more miserable day. From check engine light to back on the road with a rental wasnt even an hours time. And in that time a quick diagnostic was done, parts dealers were called, and the rental company was called to pick us up so we could get back on the road. Fantastic people in there.

I very rarely right reviews but Joey at CORE Automotive went way above and beyond to help me out. I was visiting my son who recently located to AZ from OH. He had a flat tire on his car and he works crazy hours with his new job so I thought I would get the tire fixed for him. I took the car to a tire place but the lug nuts were stripped so they referred me to Joey. Not only did he replace the lug nuts at a very reasonable price, he also coordinated with the tire place to have the tire installed while I was hiking in Sedona. He saved me bunch of time and hassle. I couldnt recommend these guys more highly. If I lived in Tempe, hes the only mechanic I would use. Good mechanic, honest and more importantly, a great guy. Thanks Joey and CORE Automotive!!!

I have an 07 Hummer H3. After taking my truck to 7 different dealerships in AZ and WA, Core Automotive was able to determine the actual problem with my truck. The told me I needed to replace $1800 worth of parts, all I needed was an alignment after a further inspection by another shop. The mechanic was rude and appeared to not want to work. I got honest and better service from another shop. I will NEVER be back to CORE!-Navy Veteran

What I don’t understand is why they charged me $318 for a door latch that is priced no more than $168. This charge did not include labor as they charged me $145 on top of that. I guess it’s hazard pay for working during covid 19

I stopped in to see about getting a blinker bulb replaced on my daughters car since I was in the area or at least make appointment while I was thinking about it. I was greeted so kindly by Mike and he went right to getting the car and within 30 minutes I had the bulb replaced and that was with him having to get the bulb from the parts store delivered. Mike was very kind. Shared some stories of the area of Arizona since I mentioned I was visiting from out of town. I plan on having my daughter take her car there for continued car care since it will put my mind at ease knowing she’s in good hands with those that care. I was visiting with people in Tempe over Superbowl weekend. Sunday I noticed an oil stain under my trusty 2005 Silverado HD pick up truck. A transmission fluid was leaking! it looked like the real seal had failed. Fortunately, my hosts were loyal CORE customers, and we contacted Joey at CORE early Monday morning. There was an opportunity to have my truck serviced before noon, and the cost seemed very reasonable. A little after noon I picked up my truck with a new, transmission rear seal. The cost was even substantially less than expected. That afternoon I drove home, 150 miles, 75 mph on the I10. As soon as I stopped in my driveway I put cardboard under the truck to see if the leak was fixed. It was. Whew! A potentially vexing situation was resolved by CORE Automotive.

My dealership uses CORE for all of our alignment needs and they always do a quick and professional job for us.

I had my truck aligned here less than 10 months ago. I took it back once to adjust and now my tires are worn threw. Yes they offered to do another alignment, but why would I take my truck back to a shop whose work cannot be trusted by their employees. Good to know that the owner doesn’t actually care. I referred two coworkers to see them this week as a referral is I was planing to get my brakes done as well. Core just lost 1500 in business.

I recently had to return to this shop because they misdiagnosed a failing power steering pump back in November.They got the pump replaced but failed to notice a check engine light until I mentioned it. They also failed to inspect the cause of or even mention a loud squealing sound coming from the engine compartment. They half hardheartedly offered to inspect only after I brought it up when I picked the car up after their having it over 24 hours. I just wanted out of there.I have serious doubts about the competency of this shop.

I brought my Hummer in to get the AC fixed. I picked it up the next day. Everything worked great for about 2 hours. Later that evening it was blowing hot air. This was a Saturday. I called Rick (owner) to let him know. He told me to drop it back off 1st thing monday and that he would reimburse me if i wanted to rent a car for the remainder of the weekend. I dropped it off monday morning and had it back with in 2 hours. These guys took care of me and did great work. Him offering to pay for a rental blew my mind. Most companies would not have offered that. These are stand up guys.

Core Automotive is the only shop that actually asked if they could drop me off somewhere vs. wait for car to be finished. They were nice enough to pick me up for pick-up.
