I got my car back today after a month. Originally Hilario was handling my claim. He was a really good worker who left. After that I have no idea who my adjuster was. I dealt with the lady who works the front desk and Jim. Both of them are five star employees. Very helpful and they know what customer service is so thank you. My car seems to be working well thumbs up

I previously had a good experience getting my car repaired at Chapman in Tempe after a minor collision, so I returned there the next time I needed repairs after a bigger collision. Big mistake. The repairs took four weeks, and only moved that fast because I called regularly. They communicated poorly about the process, expectations, cost, etc. The costs were way out of whack, and there were multiple communication gaps between the shop and my insurance broker, leading me to get bad information more than once. At one point, I was nearly ready to have them just put my car together unfinished so I could take it elsewhere, and I regret that I didn’t because the quality was so bad. The door edge plastic trim was done so poorly, it fell off a day or two after I got the car back. The car battery failed a couple weeks later (my paperwork says the shop replaced the battery, but it’s unclear if that happened/if I was charged for a new battery or not). The AC (which they had “fixed”) didn’t work, so I had to take it back to them. It worked OK after their second repair. But now, a couple months later, it’s again not working and also runs very loud. I called 5 days ago to see if they can again fix what they didn’t do correctly the first time, and no one has called back. A disappointing, stressful experience all around.

Disappointed with the service. Took my vehicle into this shop for repair which was recommended by my insurance company. They misdiagnosed the damage and after not using their service they dropped my vehicle off in pieces with more damage than from the start!! Horrible experience. My suggestion is to use your own shop and definitely not these guys.

One of the worst services I have received, I did work with Tyler I believe he’s name was my car was there for more than a month and never received updates on what was going on also every time I would call I would get sent to voicemail I would leave a voicemail message and never receive a call back I was told my car was supposed to be done by the 30 of September and it was 4 days late besides it being in there for more than a month also they did mention they were going to wash it and was returned dirtier with a new scratch on the top of my car really upset with place if I could give them a zero star I would

I recently selected Chapman Collision to repair damage and repaint my vehicle. Although my insurance company referred them to me, I was apprehensive because I have a vehicle that I take a lot of pride in and have always used dealership paint facilities. The entire experience has been nothing but professional and at the highest quality. I received consistent feedback throughout the entire process and the work was completed on time. The shop went one step further and held my vehicle one extra day due to the completion being over the holiday weekend. The GM Charlie Abbinanti deserve especially high marks. I would recommend Chapman and will use them without hesitation in the future.

I can’t say enough about Chapman. I got a quote for a minor hit and run in a parking lot for $833 at Gerber who said I would need a whole new bumper. I came to Chapman and Brian told me to hangout for a second before offering to buff it out free of charge. You can hardly tell any damage was done. I tried offering money for the service but Brian declined. I have very little knowledge of car parts and I felt like I was in good hands with Brian and that he genuinely cared. I will be telling all my friends and family to come to Chapman for the future.

I am fully impressed with Chapman Collision Center! I had bought a new BMW and only had it about 3 months when I had some damage done to it. It was my first very nice car purchase so I was a bit upset as you could imagine. I actually bought the car from Chapman BMW in Chandler AZ and thats how I found out about Chapman Collision. Tony D. over at the dealership gave me that info so Thank You to him! Seth over at the Collision center was Very helpful!!! He set up the expectations perfectly!!! I knew exactly what to expect in each stage of the process. They did an amazing job fixing my BMW! It looks just like new when I bought it maybe even a bit better. You can not tell/see where the was any damage at all! I would HIGHLY recommend them if you need to get a vehicle fixed!

Awesome work! Just got my vehicle back today after a month long ordeal with Progressive insurance company. Not a good place to take your vehicle. Will lie to you in your face to get work, create more damage and cost you money. Knocked off a spark plug wire on my truck during the time they were putting struts,upper and lower control arms and didnt even put it back on. Went to dealership not knowing what was wrong with the truck thinking a broken motor mount but was the # 8 wire. Chapman wont admit there faults. Never will I take another vehicle there

This rating will remain a 1 star and will go to 2 stars if the work is done properly but they will surely not get anything higher, nor my business or recommendations to anyone. I had an appointment and was on time. The secretary was on the phone with a customer for my first five minutes. During that time I made eye contact with 4 other employees who did not greet me or even smile. This includes the person who eventually helped me. Also I noticed a tall lady who wore an extremely tight dress and thigh high boots. Did not look professional at all. Or at least the wrong profession.

Came in with a fender that wasn’t aligned properly and Kevin with his team fixed it up within 15 mins. The willingness to work me into the schedule without an appointment meant a lot. I have NEVER dealt with a better automotive related company than this. I brought my car in for collision repair work. The work was extensive. They gave me an estimated date and time of completion. As the job progressed they sent progress reports. They finished exactly on time. About a month later some part of the door assembly needed adjustment. I drove to the facility, one of their senior employees came out looked at the car and made the adjustment immediately. Today four months later something was loose on the side that they had repaired. I brought the car in. They looked at it said it was not something they had worked on, Then proceeded to take the car into the shop and replaced a minor part with no charge. I was rear-ended on the freeway - Seriously, Im a control freak, and the thought of people ripping apart my car and not being able to personally see what is happening, had me stressed out. Took my BMW there after getting hit by a drunk driver and sure enough came out disastrous. Did not replace my tow hook cover. The paint job looked like it was done by a 10 year old my, my car still pulls. These people are unprofessional. Taking it to another body shop who treats customers with respect and dignity.

10 Days Late, but that’s just the beginning of the Nightmare. Upon pickup of my vehicle, they tried to fraudulently extort additional money from me, and when I caught the attempt, they quickly changed their tune, and fumbled over what to do next.Then they decided they were going to call the insurance company and cancel the check which had my name on it, to get another one issued to them. All the wile they refused to return my vehicle to me even after several attempts to pay in full with my own credit card... this felt like something very fraudulent and unprofessional.After several demands that I pay in full and have my truck returned to me, they continued to say they would not let me pay for it myself, or return my vehicle to me.This company is a total scam to deal with, do not use them for anything. Save yourself the hassle and headaches!!!

I will set aside they were a week late with completing the repairs. They left my car DIRTY! The entire interior of the car was dusty and grimy as though they left the doors open during a dust storm. They ruined the plastic cover display where the odometer, etc are located. It looks as though some chemical was sprayed on it, unable the remove the spray now. The paint job was mediocre and thats being nice. They didnt buff out the paint to make it smooth and match the rest of the paint. it was rough. Just DIRTY, DIRTY workmanship!! Its not enough my car was hit but now I have to deal with the manner in which the repair shop left it. Not cool.

I did not like my experience here. I first felt the repair process was taking to long. Jose was able to get my rental vehicle covered so I would not have to pay for it and did a good job communicating with me. Telling me my brand new truck would be repaired to brand new condition. Once my truck was complete it appeared they beat around the Bush every inch they could. Found more and more issues still remaining and things being buffed out than replaced. Overall it feels more like hidden damage than repaired to brand new condition. Jose tells me the insurance company will only allow it in a certain way. Really makes you want to get your vehicle out of the bushes than let it spend another second on the property. Vehicle ended up going back in for another week per management to fix the issues remaining. Still got the vehicle back with scratches. I will never do business here again because i feel they dont care to fix the vehicle correctly the first time to save money and hoping you dont notice.

Really disappointed with the customer service here. They were overbooked, and it took far too long for our car to be completed. Then several months later they called and said they had made a billing error and had charged us $100 too little. They asked us to come in and pay the $100 they said we owed. This is completely unprofessional—if they make mistakes on their end, they should absorb the cost. We paid in full what they billed us for before picking up our vehicle.

Horrible customer service!!! I call multiple times a day leaving messages with both the receptionist and on voicemail and I NEVER get a call back it took me 2 days to get a hold of anybody that could help me. I also was told my car would take 4 to 5 days unless other damage was found and on the 4th day I receive an email (not a phone call which i day prior i left 4 messages) stating they have just started disassembling. I would not recommend this company to anyone to use. I can not say all bad things though the agent helping me did help with some of the policy which is a plus that is the only reason i would give them 2 stars over 1!

The strip below the bumper on my 2015 Equinox was loose on one end. One of the technicians fixed it in a matter of minutes and didnt charge me for it.In the past 15 years, Chapman Body Shop has done 5 or 6 major body repairs for me. They always did an excellent job in a timely fashion.Ted P.

Bad customer service. Received an email update on vehicle (thats a good thing...) saying would be reassembled that day, ready next day. She would call me. Three days later, I still hadnt received a call, so I called. Left voicemail twice, ignored once (left message at front desk and never got a return call). This was over a two day period. Finally the next day I got my service rep on the phone and she informed me it had been a crazy week (so apparently you dont call customers back) and informed me that a part they ordered was damaged, so they had to reorder it. A damaged part is understandable. Not ideal, but sometimes that stuff happens. My problem is that NO ONE TOLD ME. For several days I heard nothing and then got basically the run around when I tried to FIND OUT what was going on with my vehicle. Unacceptable for BMW. I expect MUCH better than this. Too bad. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I was in my first accident and very nervous about the whole process and dealing with a lot of pain. My insurance company referred me to Chapman Collision as one of their preferred repair shops. The work took a long time but after seeing my car it was well worth the wait. The work they did surpassed my expectations immensely! Every detail they put into the repair and clean really showed through. Kevin was my main contact from Chapman for all progress updates on my vehicle and he was so friendly and made sure all my questions were answered. Car was taken in for a very small amount of damage, replace a wheel well and some scratches, in the beginning I was told time would mostly depend on when they could get parts in. After nearly two weeks with no communication I called to get some status, they said they had gotten parts in the first week and parts were already on, that it should be in the paint shop that Friday (approx 2 week mark) sounds good, I had gotten no updates because they entered my number wrong in their system. A week later I call(shouldn’t take a week to paint a wheel well) it’s still in the body shop didn’t make it to the paint shop. Almost immidatldly after i get off the phone I magically get some text updates stating the original max estimated date prior to them inspecting the damage. Fast forward to the max date when it should be completed nearly 4 weeks, I call the day before to arrange my pickup in the morning only to be told curtly that they have until the end of the day to complete the work but that they only had some minor assembly and final QC inspection to preform . Fast forward to the day after it should have been competed I call to arrange my pickup and they are still not done they are gonna look into it and get back to me...this place is disorganized and full of excuses, any garage that actually scheduled time to work on this could have had this complete a week after receiving parts. To add insult to injury they hosed the insurance for $5,300.00 for this small amount of work. I certainly hope this repair looks like brand new after all this time and money. Will update.

Carlos was the associate that i was supposed to be working with but haven heard back in a month and have been leaving messages weekly. Terrible service. Dealt with Joseph who is the most unprofessional customer service representative I have ever dealt with. Everytime I tried to contact him he either replied with, one more week or Im out of the office. Finally after 3 weeks I got his partner Kevin to take over. Kevin was much better about his job, but upon finally receiving my vehicle after almost 2 months, I have it returned almost worse than before. Inside is a dirty oil stained mess and half of my dash isnt even put back in all the way. One of my headlights no longer work, and they were both fine before being brought in. They swear they never touched the headlights. On tip of all that, I had to struggle for some kind of reimbursement and rental after 6 weeks of having to bum rides and pay to borrow vehicles because their delays were my problem. How can anyone go around running a company like this and get away with it blows my mind. I hope I can at least die without the stress of this car hanging over my head for the rest of life.

Dropped car off and waited 2 weeks which was expected, But upon the drive home from thee collision center the door stripping was missing as if poorly put on and fell off on the drive home. Have yet to notify collision center, although I highly doubt they would be of any help with the problem because I was not issued a warranty on the work like most auto body shops do. If I had my choice I would not take my car back to this collision center ever again!!

The ONLY reason I gave this place more than 1 star is because of Brian. He was incredibly helpful but I wish hed have stepped in earlier. They had our car for 2 months (after saying it would take maybe a week or 2) due to unexpected expenses they had to refund part of our deductible and ended up paying for our rental car after telling us ours was ready when, in fact, it wasnt. Joseph, the man I was supposed to speak with whenever I wanted updates and such was always quick with an excuse and honestly came off rather sexist...he always called my husband instead of me (which I found offensive considering Im the one that knows more about cars) and when I called he spoke to me as if I were clueless. Then after recieving our car we find that a headlight was left unplugged, oil stained fingerprints all over the interior roofing (which is a light tan so it stuck out), parts were loose and the door they originally had to fix was now rattling and the seal was coming up. After my husband left a google review Brian contacted us to fix said problems. It took them a day. Although Brian was great I will never take my car there again.
